Life feels like a dream.
In just one short week, I have gone from a normal-sized, independent woman to a doll-sized pet.
Kate is so kind. She takes care of most of the day-to-day activities, while I just scamper about her heels, fawning upon her. I try to help too: gripping a corner of the giant bedsheet as I walk it down in an attempt to fold. It's not efficient, but I think Kate finds it adorable because she can't stop giggling.
And there are hugs and pats when I do a good job. <3
I also help with the cooking (after Kate lifts me up to the kitchen island, of course). Now I admit it can be pretty hard when you're the same size as some of the implements, but that doesn't stop me! I can still help roll out dough, pushing against the ball with my tiny hands, grunting as I struggle to flatten it out or roll it into strands to shape into pretzels. Kate does the shaping though...after I fell on one of the uncooked twists and left a little butt print, we pretty much agreed.
I'm amazed at how rapidly our relationship has changed. Kate is pretty much taking charge of every situation now. Days ago, I think I was nervous at the prospect, but today I find I do not care. And even if I were to fight back...I'm just so small. She could easily pick me up with a single hand and sit me in the corner.
Or...or stuff me in a drawer! Eep!
I really don't mind. Kate makes an absolutely wonderful...hmm, what should I call her? Handler? Mistress? My cheeks are burning just thinking about it.
Good news is that the shrinking seems to be slowing: I've only lost one additional inch since yesterday. Maybe this is almost over.
Until then, I hear Kate...or, shall I say Mistress… O.o
I hear her calling. I look forward to another evening of cuddles and pets in her lap. I never thought I'd say it...but I love her. And I love what we have.
