This morning when I awoke, I opened my eyes and saw the largest hand I have ever seen in my life. Kate was still sleeping peacefully as I quivered in awe at her massive palm and gigantic fingers, each longer than my head now!

If I was small before, I'm tiny now. The size of a little doll now, living in a world of giants.

Any degree of autonomy I may have had is gone. Kate has to pretty much lift me onto every surface or carry me around so I don't become exhausted simply traversing my home!

We have a signal: I simply tap her on the knee and point where I want her to put me. I'm only half the height of her legs now, and my voice is so squeaky that she has difficulty understanding me at times. Once again we measured, yesterday's mark seeming impossibly higher. I'm 1' 4"...4 feet shorter than her.

It's terrifying at times, but other times it feels so nice. Like whenever she lifts me up. Her palm is so warm and her fingers so soft as I turn her hand with my own tiny fingers. Every now and then she lifts me up to her giant face and gives me a kiss, her lips practically enveloping my face.

I live for those moments.

Kate has such a personality. We talk and laugh. She eats her sandwich while I struggle to finish little scraps of deli. But I'm smiling all the time with her around.

Tonight for movie night I curled up in her lap as she gently pet me, like a cute little kitten. That's what I feel like now, a little pet who just wants to be held and fed and pet by my affectionate mistress.

Even if they never find a cure...even if they never reverse this...I feel happy right now.

Kate is waiting so I have to go. She has that...look...in her eye. It's going to be a bit of a night…. <3
