After Billie’s birthday party, which had the tastiest cake ever, we wanted to use the L.U.C.Y. App to restore Debbie to her normal self, but the app said it needed at least a crumb of the cake to do so, or else Debbie couldn’t be restored. Thankfully I found the tiniest speck of Debbie cake on Billie’s nose and presented it to my phone. “There ya go! One Debbie cake crumb. Now please transform her back to normal.” In a flash the tiny speck reformed into a human shape. However, even though Debbie’s body was restored to normal, she stayed the same size as the crumb she was restored from. I made sure to set Debbie down gently on the coffee table before turning back to Lucy’s face on my phone. “Lucy, I ask for you to restore Debbie to her normal self?”
“Steph, I did silly. See, she is human again, isn’t she?”
“Yeah, but I meant restored to her full size body. She’s barely a millimeter tall right now.”
“Hey you asked me to restore her and I did. My task is complete as far as I’m concerned.” Lucy’s face quickly vanished from my phone screen and I’m furious.
“Oh no you don’t. You can’t just shut off to avoid me. Remember, you’re my phone app so you do what I ask you to. So you are going to stick around until I’m able to make Debbie full size again.”
Suddenly, a flash of glimmering light burst from my phone and flew directly at a nearby wall. As I look to where the flash went I’m surprised by what I see. On one of my living room walls is a rather sexy looking full size sticker of what appears to be Lucy. As I walk up to it I see her eyes dart back and forth in a panic, before locking eyes with me.
I then grab my phone to check on the Lucy app, but suddenly it is gone. I checked everywhere, but it was as if the app never existed. “Oh no.” I go back to the sticker on the wall more concerned now. “Thanks Lucy. Since you got me all upset, I accidentally commanded you to become a wall decal and now your transformation app is completely gone. You better hope I can install the original TF app again to fix all this, or else you’ll be sticking around like that indefinitely.” I can see the nervousness in Lucy’s face as I look through the App Store for the original tf app.
After quite some time of searching, I find the app. However, when I go to install it, a text bubble appears saying I am banned from the app for misconduct and I would have to file a request for my privileges to be restored before I can use the app again which could take up to 6 months. Frustrated I stare back up at Lucy’s flat face. “Well, I hope you’re happy, because not only will you be stuck on my wall for 6 months but you also trapped Debbie as a microscopic person and Billie as my pet for that time period as well. At least your a sexy wall poster, because I wouldn’t be caught dead having an ugly poster on my wall. I will have to take you down though if I have company over, so don’t get too comfy.”
I walk away from Lucy’s flattened, yet still very much curvy, form and head over to where I left Debbie, only to discover she has disappeared. I look everywhere around the coffee table until Billie comes sprinting up to me wagging her tail excitedly wanting to play. “Not now Billie, I’m trying to find Debbie right now.”
“Billie found Debbie.” She said with her tongue flopped out of her mouth.
“You did, where is she?”
“Billie saw tiny Debbie on table and wanted to say hi, but then Billie sneezed and Tiny Debbie was gone.”
I smack my palm on my face out of frustration and annoyance. “Uuugh! Billie, go to your room for now until I can find tiny Debbie, ok?”
“Ok, ok, ok!” Billie said happily as she trots out of the room.
I run my hands down my face and then get down on all fours on the rug in my living room, feeling around for any possible lumps I can find. “Debbie, if you can hear me, don’t move. I’m trying to find you, and once I do I’ll pick you up and explain what all is happening.” I continued my slow and delicate search for my friend completely oblivious to the fact that I had sat down right on top of Debbie and flattened her onto my butt moments ago. This was going to be a very long 6 months…
