“There! I think you’ll make a terrific centerpiece for my desk.” Lucy said as she gave one last adjustment to the bronze tablet that I had been transformed into. Shortly after, Lucy unlocked her phone, remembering what I had changed it to, and started scrolling through the endless photos I had taken of her while she was a art piece. “Wow, you were right Steph, I did make a spectacular work of art. If only I had not been trapped like that for 3 weeks, I’d probably be up for doing that again. Oh well. I’m just happy you had set a timer on my transformation, or else we would be in some serious trouble right now.” She again stared at the metal plate that imprisoned me. “I can’t believe you were dumb enough to try a transformation on yourself by taking a selfie. What were you thinking? You could have gotten us both trapped as inanimate portraits. What you did was reckless.”

If I wasn’t a piece of bronze artwork right now, I would be nodding in agreement with Lucy. I knew what I did was stupid, but I just couldn’t resist. I just had to know what it would feel like to turn into something so beautiful and inanimate again. I loved how it felt being a bronze statue previously, but I wanted to take it a step further. I wanted to experience the sensations of not only being an inanimate bronze art piece, but also what it’s like to be shrunken down and flattened out as well. And I’ve gotta say, it feels incredible. It feels even better when Lucy runs her fingers over my body. I don’t know why she says I was reckless. I set her timer on purpose knowing we needed someone alive to eventually free me. She should be thanking me.

After taking care of me, Lucy sought out a mirror to see if she was back to normal, but to her dismay, she still wore a ridiculously cartoonish look. “Ugh, you still left me looking like this? God damnit Steph! And what’s worse is your phone is locked so guess what genius? Until I figure out your password, I’m stuck looking like this and you are stuck as an inanimate object. Didn’t think that through did you?” Shit! I guess I didn’t think that through. Well, I guess I’m stuck this way for a little while until Lucy figures out my password. Shouldn’t take too long since I keep my password pretty simple. For now I get to sit on her desk and look pretty. ‘Brzzzt!!! Brzzzt!!!’ Wait, is that my phone making that noise? Dang it Lucy, you already failed 10 times to unlock my phone? That means it is locked for 10 minutes until you can try again. After that, the intervals increase exponentially. I might be stuck for longer than I thought…
