Day 16 - Wednesday
For the first time all week, Maya arrived to the Unique Boutique well before the store opened. The previous night, after Amira had left her apartment, Maya had prepped everything she needed to take with her to the mansion so she could just wake up and get going. That paid off a lot as she was already in her office taking care of timesheets and preparing for the day ahead with a half hour to spare. It helped that her costume today was much simpler. Today she decided to make it more sexy that spooky, so she turned Amy into an entire leather cat costume with pointy black ears, a tight form-fitting black catsuit, black stockings, and some sexy black gloves with sharp cat claw nails. The most time consuming part of today’s costume was curling her hair and applying her sultry makeup. Nevertheless, she was at work ready to go before anyone else showed up.
Of course the next person to arrive to the store was her assistant manager, and potential new friend, Amira. And Maya was rather impressed by her assistant manager’s costume for the day, as she skipped into the office wearing a crimson red demon queen costume. “Good morning Maya-oops, I mean, good morning Amy! Hehe. Still gotta get used to that.”
“Heh, it’s all good. And good morning to you too. Or should I say evil morning?” Maya playfully teased as Amira blushed a bit.
“Oh, heh, yeah, I decided to take your word of advice to heart a couple of days ago and made this costume a bit more risqué. Do you really think it looks good?”
“Heck yeah I do! But I still think you’re holding back a bit.” She saw Amira’s disappointed expression and felt bad even though she meant what she said. “I’m not trying to hurt your feelings there. You do look really hot in that demon queen costume. But I truly believe you could pull off an even more risqué costume if you had more confidence in your body and in your appearance in general.”
“I don’t know… I mean.. I’ve just never really seen myself in that way, you know? Most people look at me and see this cute little caricature of a person, and so I just assumed that’s what I was and never even considered that I could be thought of as ‘sexy’. But ever since you took over acting like my Amy, you’ve been so encouraging and inspiring, and always empowered me to be more bold. So maybe you’re right. Maybe I should start taking more chances.”
“Hell yeah! That’s what I like to hear! Don’t let those people dictate who you are and how you dress? You decide for yourself. Yeah, you are cute, that’s just a fact. But that doesn’t mean you can’t be a sexy bitch as well.”
“Yeah! I’ll show them. I’ll be the baddest bitch here! Oops.” She blushed realizing how loud she got and the fact she cursed in front of her boss.
“Don’t feel bad. Embrace that confidence.”
“Right. I’m a bad bitch, and…and tomorrow, my costume will be so sexy I’ll have everyone drooling.”
“There ya go! I cannot wait to see what you dress as tomorrow. But now that that’s over with, we probably should get the store opened up. It’s kinda five minutes past opening now.”
Amira looked at the clock and saw that Maya was right and immediately shifted gears. “Oh shoot, sorry about that. I’ll go unlock the front doors. See ya in a bit.” And off Amira ran, leaving a satisfied Maya behind in her office. She shook her head with a soft chuckle. “Man, she is so adorable.”
