Friday evening through Saturday morning was a quiet time in Kate’s apartment. Not a single person to be found. Unless you count the inanimate objects sprawled about Kate’s room as people.

On the floor was a purse with its belongings scattered, and on the bed was a doll, romper, and wadded up poster, all of which use to be people at some point. Now they were simple objects, with no trace of humanity left.   Until late Saturday came around, and suddenly the purse and its former belongings, the poster and romper, were engulfed in a flash of of light. A moment later Harmony was standing in the center of the room again, perplexed by the situation.

“Oh my goodness! I can’t believe I’m me again. I thought for sure I was a goner after Jess changed me.” That’s when Harmony looked over to the bed and spotted the familiar punk rock doll  laying on the bed. “Oh, well that explains it. I tried to warn you Jess that you didn’t have much time before you transformed back into a doll. I guess you found out the hard way. And at least you transformed me once before it happened, or else we would really be in a bind.”

Harmony went over and picked the doll up to examine it further. She hadn’t seen the wand’s creations in person before. She only knew of what it could do from Kate and Kai’s memories. But now she was holding her new friend as a doll. “Wow, you’re really cute as a doll Jess. If I was 10 years younger I’d kill to have a doll like you to play with. Which I guess I could make a reality now that I possess the wand.”

Harmony thought about the idea for a while. It wasn’t like Jess needed to be changed back immediately. And one day more as a doll wouldn’t hurt anybody, right? “I’ve made up my mind Jess. I’ve decided to keep you as my doll for an extra day. But don’t worry you’ll get the full doll experience this time because I’m going to change myself into a 10 year old for the day and play with you. Doesn’t that sound like fun?”

Harmony spoke once again to the Jess doll, knowing full well it couldn’t respond. She was just so excited to be a young girl and play with her toy. “Alright Jess, get ready to meet the child version of me. You know, now that I think of it, I never got to live out my childhood. I was born into existence as an adult so I never experienced life as a kid.. This is gonna be so much fun! Here we go!”

And with that, Harmony transformed herself into a child version of herself. A cute little girl with brunette hair, tied up in pigtails; She wore a bright blue princess dress with fairy wings and a tiara to complete the ensemble. Harmony looked like your typical 10 year old girl playing dress up as her favorite fantasy princess. And the wand perfectly fit her ‘magic fairy princess’ look. “Oh wow, I look so cute! I can’t believe I’m a little girl now! This is a dream come true.” Harmony took a moment to soak it all in. But then she skipped over to the bed to grab her doll to play with. “Hmm, I was thinking Jess, if I’m a fairy princess, I shouldn’t be playing with a punk doll. I need a princess to play with.”

So Harmony proceeded to transform Jess into a generic princess Barbie doll that matched her blue dress she currently wore. “There much better. But now you need a castle to live in. Oh I know. I’ll just change one of these pillows into one.” And so Harmony grabbed one of Kate’s pillows and changed it into an enormous doll castle. It was the most elaborate toy castle you could ever imagine. “Wonderful! Now my little princess has her very own castle to live in.”

So throughout Saturday evening Harmony played with her doll inside her castle. She had so much fun experiencing life as a child for the first time. She almost never wanted it to end. Sadly though, she was getting tired and knew she needed to take a nap. “Oh man, I’m so tired. I want to play with you more princess Jess, but unfortunately this princess needs some sleep. But don’t worry, I’ll store you away to play with later.”

Harmony attempted to put away her castle with her doll inside, but she made the castle so big it didn’t fit in her/Kate’s closet. “Shoot! I can’t seem to get my castle put away.” Then an idea hit her. “Oh I know! My magic wand can make it whatever I want. And I know just what to change it into.” One tap of the wand later and Harmony had a cute pink pillow with the word ‘princess’ embroidered on it.  “Yay! Now I have a pillow again! Time to go to sleep!” Shortly after, little princess Harmony was fast asleep on her new favorite pillow, looking forward to having more fun the next day.

Sunday morning came and Harmony woke up bright and early. She decided to find something in her kitchen to eat for breakfast, but realized she was too short to reach any of the cabinets. She ended up finding a stool and used it to grab some cereal.

After breakfast, Harmony returned to her room and grabbed her princess pillow and decided she wanted her favorite dolly back. So with a tap of her wand the pillow quickly became a toy castle once more. And inside sat Harmony’s favorite doll, princess Jess. “Good morning Princess Jess! I hope you had as much fun yesterday as I did. Now we get to play even more.” Harmony was so excited for another day of fun with her doll. She was really getting into being a kid.

After a bit more time with her doll though she decided it was time to play with something different. “You know Princess Jess, I’ve had so much fun playing with you, but I want something different now. Ooh, I know.” And once again, Harmony tapped the Jess doll with the wand and suddenly the doll transformed into a small, motorized toy car. A pink jeep that was just big enough for Harmony to ride in and drive around the apartment. “Yay! It’s so pink! I want to drive you around immediately!”

Harmony was having the time of her life driving around her new toy car. She drove it through every room in the apartment like it was a race course. After awhile though, as Harmony was driving the car back into her bedroom, she felt a tingling sensation. And then without warning a full adult size Harmony was scrunched up sitting inside the pink jeep. “Wow, I really got into being a kid. That was so much fun though! I definitely want to do that again some time if I have the chance. But I think now I need to finally fix a few things around here. Starting with you my little pink car.”
