What did you wish for!!!

Hank and his best friend Connor were just hanging out and playing some video games in Hank's living room, the glow of the television casting a warm light around them. It was a typical Friday night, their usual ritual to unwind after a long week. Connor laughed as he beat Hank for the third time in a row, and he stood up, stretching.

"I'm gonna grab us some more beers. You want anything else?" Connor asked, heading towards the kitchen.

"Nah, just the beers," Hank replied, his eyes still on the screen. As Connor left the room, Hank leaned back into the couch and fished into his pocket, pulling out a strange coin he had found earlier that day. It was old, with a lightning bolt etched into its surface, almost seeming to pulse with an inner light.

Hank turned the coin over in his hand, feeling a strange warmth emanating from it. Absentmindedly, he thought about his friends who had families, wives, and kids. He envied them, their lives seemed so full and meaningful. Without really thinking, he whispered, "I wish I had a family, like my friends."

Suddenly, the coin began to glow, a bright, almost blinding light that filled the room. Hank's eyes widened as the coin disintegrated into bright sparkles, swirling around him before vanishing into thin air. "What the hell?" he muttered, feeling a strange tingle run down his spine.

His thoughts were interrupted by a scream from the kitchen. Hank jumped up, heart pounding, and sprinted to see what had happened to Connor. Bursting through the doorway, he skidded to a halt, eyes wide with shock.

Standing in the middle of the kitchen, looking equally stunned, was not his best friend Connor, but a very pregnant woman, appearing to be about nine months along. She was clutching the counter for support, her face a mix of confusion and fear. She had Connor's eyes, but everything else was different - the long hair, the soft features, the unmistakable bulge of her belly.

"Connor?" Hank whispered, his voice barely audible. The woman looked at him, her eyes filling with tears.

"Hank... what did you do?" she asked, her voice trembling. "What did you wish for?"

Hank swallowed hard, his mind racing. "I wished to have a family... like my friends," he admitted, the reality of the situation sinking in. He stepped closer, his eyes locked onto her, no, Connor’s transformed body.

The transformation had been thorough and irreversible. Connor's once familiar athletic frame was now that of a heavily pregnant woman. Her skin glowed with a healthy sheen, and her clothes hung awkwardly on her changed body, clearly not designed for her new form.

"I didn't mean for this to happen," Hank said, his voice breaking. "I just wanted... I wanted to be like my friends."

Connor, now Connie, took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. "Well, it looks like you got your wish," she said, her voice a strange mix of Connor's old tone and a new, softer one. She placed a hand on her swollen belly, feeling the movement within. "But at what cost?"

Hank felt a pang of guilt. He had never wanted this for his friend. "I'm so sorry, Connie. I didn't know the coin would actually work. I didn't know it would do this to you."

Connie sighed, a mix of frustration and resignation in her eyes. "Well, we need to figure this out. But first, let's sit down. I feel like I'm about to collapse."

Hank helped her to the couch, his mind racing with thoughts of how to fix this, if it was even possible. They sat in silence for a moment, the reality of their new situation settling in. Hank had his wish for a family, but it had cost him his best friend and his best friend's gender. Now, they had to navigate this new reality together, finding a way to cope with the consequences of a wish granted in the most unexpected way.
