In the heart of London, an eerie wind whispered its secrets through the ancient streets, signaling a transformation far more sinister than mere pollution. The restless denizens of the city watched in dread as a relentless pestilence unleashed a wave of chaos upon the cobblestone pathways. Only a clandestine circle of homeless pagans held the knowledge of the impending catastrophe, murmuring cryptic prophecies under the moon's baleful glow.

"The city is teetering on the brink of oblivion," they whispered, their eyes wild with fear. "A pestilence descends upon us, a harbinger of apocalypse. London shall witness a twilight as foreboding as the sun's last rays, veiled in dark clouds that roll over the unsuspecting masses. A formidable paw shall beckon, commanding old friends, family, and strangers to forsake their human flesh and beliefs, to be reborn as the true denizens of this city. They shall howl like untamed beasts, teeth and nails sharpening, humans descending to all fours, their backs furrowing, tails wagging, passions aflame, and primal instincts taking over. The streets shall be awash with their essence, as they embrace their untamed natures, and the stench of humanity is cleansed from this desecrated realm of ancient gods. The city shall belong to its rightful inhabitants once more, as the prophecy foretells."

On the eve of this fateful transformation, a mysterious figure took hold of common vermin and imbued them with an eldritch contagion. These unwitting carriers were unleashed upon the unsuspecting city, spreading a virus with strange and horrifying effects, both upon the populace and the animal kingdom. While the animals became vessels of contagion, humans succumbed to a metamorphosis that allowed them to further disseminate the plague.

As the virus swept through the city, the authorities at MT Lab took drastic measures to contain the outbreak. A force field encased London, a desperate bid to prevent the infection from spreading beyond its boundaries. However, not everyone could escape the city's clutches, and some unfortunate souls found themselves trapped within the very epicenter of the pandemic.

Day 1 brought terror to Lucy, the relentless onslaught of rats overwhelming her senses. Their pitiful cries and frantic scratches pierced her protective suit, as though they beckoned her to join their ranks. The virus surged through her body, an irresistible force, rendering her powerless to resist. Lucy, succumbing to the sinister transformation, shed her protective gear and descended into the abyss. She crawled onto the cold ground, tears streaming from her eyes that now held the glint of a rat's gaze, as she embraced her new identity, her own squeaks mingling with the cacophony of her newfound brethren.

Amidst the darkening chaos, a chilling chorus of rat voices echoed through the haunted London streets, weaving an eerie spell on Lucy.

Rats: "Join us, Lucy! Embrace the Swarm! The allure of becoming one with the vermin is irresistible!"

Lucy, her voice quivering, succumbed to the seductive call of the rats, her transformation irreversible.

Lucy: "Yes, yes, I yearn for it! To be part of the Rat's domain, to revel in the muck and filth as vermin, I am Vermin! To become the vessel of the virus, spreading its malevolence with every squeak! Squeak, squeak!"

On the second day of the viral onslaught in London, a group of brave survivors huddled in a designated safety zone, attempting to provide a glimmer of distraction from the encroaching darkness through a scavenger hunt. Little did they know, the vermin had a different design for their day.

Once, the hunt was alive with the eager chatter of humans, a lively congregation of hope amid the chaos. But soon, the tide turned, and the gathering evolved into something quite peculiar. As the contagion continued to infiltrate the city, the hunt's participants underwent a curious metamorphosis. Humans were replaced by rabbits, furry creatures with twitching noses and a wild glint in their eyes.

The scene became a bizarre spectacle, a strange ritual where the rabbits frolicked in the discarded human clothing. Newcomers eagerly joined the ecstatic throng, each one surrendering their humanity to the exhilaration of the moment. Amid the chaos, one figure retained a semblance of her former self—Betty. With determination etched in her eyes, she knew she held a vital message, one that could only be delivered through the venerable BBC network.

Betty, her nose twitching in rhythm with her racing heart, began to work, shedding her human facade as she disrobed, the subtle transformation gradually overtaking her. She surrendered to the metamorphosis, her body slowly shifting until she stood before them as a common rabbit, yet with an uncommon purpose.

Rabbit

In a surreal moment of transformation, Betty Jets, once the voice of BBC News, now found herself in the body of a rabbit, her voice quivering with a strange blend of resignation and liberation.

Betty: "I... I am Betty Jets of BBC News, or am I a rabbit? No, I'm human, but deep down, I've always felt a kinship with the rabbits. It's as though my true self was hidden beneath a human facade. Now, the end looms for humanity, as the vermin of London surge uncontrollably. The question remains, what good is it to be human in this new world?"

As her words quivered with an unsettling truth, Betty continued, her voice carrying a bizarre mix of despair and strangely enticing fervor.

Betty: "Embrace the transformation, for the allure of being a horny rabbit, or perhaps a cunning rat, a sly fox, a graceful deer, or even a swarm of insects or birds. Join us, the strays and the feral, as we reclaim this city from the clutches of BBC News."

Betty had indeed struggled against the relentless virus, like so many others who fought to retain their humanity, only to succumb to the irresistible tide of transformation. With a final, poignant declaration, she signed off, her voice fading into the cacophony of her new, furry reality.

Betty: "This is Betty Jets, signing off now, to embrace my destiny as a good bunny."

On the third day of the calamity in London, not even the tranquil local parks remained a sanctuary. Devin, along with his loyal golden retriever, Max, learned this harsh reality in the most unsettling way.

As they attempted to navigate a path through the once-peaceful park, they were suddenly besieged by a chaotic horde of mangy dogs. The canine swarm closed in around them, separating Devin from his beloved Max. It was a moment of stark realization as Max succumbed to the infection, becoming a conduit for the sinister virus that now coursed through his veins.

The air was thick with the unmistakable scent of the pack. An insistent compulsion seized Devin, driving him to yield to the overpowering canine instincts that now coursed through his body. It was no longer a matter of choice, but an inescapable transformation into a female dog.

As the metamorphosis continued, Devin found himself settling into the proper posture of a female dog, an obedient bitch, compelled by the same relentless force that had claimed Max. In his new form, he awaited the inevitable, his world now dominated by instincts and desires he could neither understand nor resist, the bond between owner and pet irrevocably altered.

On the fourth day of the relentless epidemic, London stood in a perpetual state of emergency. The Parliament and the Queen's advisors struggled to maintain a semblance of order, enforcing curfews and containment measures. However, not all citizens were content to remain indoors, bound by the authorities' restrictions. Some were driven by an insatiable hunger for answers.

In the heart of the enigmatic turmoil, only the homeless pagans seemed to hold the elusive key to the unfolding mystery. One of these pagans was determined to draw attention and provoke his own arrest for violating the curfew. His audacious intent was to unearth the secrets shrouded in darkness.

Fortune, it seemed, had other plans. As the pagan's unconventional inquiries attracted the attention of a patrolling officer and a few equally curious individuals, an unexpected and eerie phenomenon unfolded. A multitude of mangy pigeons descended upon the scene, casting a shadow of mystery over the group.

The pigeons, their feathers ruffled and their beady eyes alight with an unsettling intelligence, launched a frenzied attack. With sharp beaks and clawed talons, they pecked and scratched, drawing blood and initiating an eerie transformation.

The officer, once a symbol of law and order, now found himself ensnared in the bewildering transformation, succumbing to the insidious influence of the avian horde. His body, marred by scratches and infused with their essence, began to mirror that of the mangy pigeons. His humanity was swiftly eroding, his destiny interwoven with the filthy flock, as the secrets of the pandemic continued to unravel in the most unexpected ways.

Pre-pidgeon

The homeless man, in a moment of eerie confrontation, confronted the officer who had previously threatened to arrest him.

Homeless Man: "I remember you had intentions of arresting me earlier. Is that still your plan?"

The officer, his voice now strangely distorted and punctuated by avian sounds, replied in an eerie and surreal fashion.

Officer: "Coo... Noo, no more arrest, just a silly pigeon now. Coo! Need to become even more bird-like, you see. Coo, coo!"

Horrified by the bizarre transformation of the officer, the homeless man recoiled in terror.

Homeless Man: "No! Stay away from me!"

On the fifth day of the relentless pandemic, London's once vibrant streets were rapidly losing their human presence, leaving the city in the clutches of the Vermin virus. In the midst of this eerie transformation, Rachel, a modest candy store owner, found herself facing an unexpected and surreal invasion of her beloved sweet shop.

Mangy squirrels, driven by an insatiable urge, infiltrated her candy store through the rotting door, their eyes gleaming with a bizarre hunger. The saccharine aroma of her confectionery had drawn them in, but Rachel sensed something far more profound stirring within her.

As the metamorphosis claimed her, Rachel's own cravings shifted from candy to a peculiar longing for certain nuts, an instinctual desire she couldn't ignore. In a frenzy, she fled from her shop, her body undergoing a profound change with each passing moment.

Once the transformation was complete, Rachel returned to her store, not as the sweet shop owner she once was, but as one with the mangy squirrels. Together with her newfound kin, she now shared a singular purpose: to seek out the nuts that had become their insatiable obsession, an unusual but undeniable testament to the relentless transformation gripping the city.

Pre-squirrel

Rachel, her transformation complete, was now one with the squirrel horde, but her yearnings had taken on a decidedly unique flavor.

Rachel: "Mmm... these nuts are so delectable... But what I truly desire, *chitter*, is a suitable male mate!"
