Kinktober 2022 - Day 14 - StuckThe line went dead at the other end, and it took all of Isabel’s restraint not to hurl her phone against the kitchen wall, instead contenting herself with setting it down on the table and weeping openly into her hands. A good wife stuck by her husband. It was a simple principle, and one that governed her life, that the vows she swore to Ricardo before God were not to be broken under any circumstances. But why does he have to make it so hard? she asked bitterly, petite figure wracked with sobs. The happy days when they were first married were a long-forgotten dream, and not for the first time, the slender Filipino woman wondered where everything had gone wrong. For at twenty-five, her life had become stuck in a rut from which there seemed no escape. Two years of marriage had yet to produce a child with Ricardo, and day by day, she felt him drift away from her, spurning her company to endlessly drink and gamble with his friends. The latter had become a persistent problem as well, his paycheque consistently vanishing into same-game parleys and fantasy football lineups, never to be seen again, and more than once, Isabel was left stuck paying the rent and utilities with her own meager savings while Ricardo’s debts grew unrestrained. She couldn’t provide for them on her own either, not stuck as she was at the local grocery store with only low wages, long hours and little opportunities for advancement to look forward to, and spiraling rent prices in the city meant there was no place else she could go, even if she did leave him. Which will never happen. Must never happen. No, she was stuck with him, in sickness and in health, and she took a deep breath to compose herself, pushing back against her despair. We will make it through this, we must. You just need to stay loyal and have faith.A rhythmic knock shook her from her reverie, and Isabel took a moment to wipe away the last of the tears from her smooth, olive cheeks. “Coming!” she called out, hastily crossing the length of the apartment and opening the door to reveal a familiar young man, handsome in his formal white dress shirt and black pants. “Victor? I thought you were leaving today?”“I am, but I wanted to see you first,” came his gentle reply as he closed the door behind him, and not for the first time, Isabel felt her heartbeat quicken in his presence, thoughts most inappropriate for a married woman becoming stuck in her mind like splinters. Victor Stockholm had been her neighbour since she and Ricardo moved into the apartment building, a groundskeeper and maintenance worker at one of the ski lodges just outside the city, and she’d taken a liking to him immediately, his earnest and friendly nature a welcome antidote from her husband’s growing cynicism. He was the sort of young man eager to help out and make himself useful, and more than once, she’d called him in to attend to some basic repairs Ricardo either couldn’t or wouldn’t take care of. And she could not deny that he was rather attractive, with broad shoulders and a strong jawline and grey eyes that cut right down to her soul with every glance, yearning and guilt warring inside her as it did every time they met. “Is your husband around?”“He’s… he’s out,” Isabel demurred, too loyal to openly state what Ricardo spent his time doing these days. “Would you care for some tea?”“No, I can’t say long, unfortunately. You look lovely tonight.”“Th… thank you,” stammered the Filipino woman, blushing deeply and tucking a lock of short black hair behind her ear. In truth, she’d never considered herself anything more than plain, her curves too slight, her features too ordinary and her legs too short to be truly beautiful. Her clothes weren’t anything special either, just a plain black dress that descended past her knees and knee-high black leather boots, yet her face flushed all the same, aware of how intently he seemed to be examining her. Could he… no, that’s impossible. “Are you all ready for your move to this cabin of yours? Is there anything I can do to help?”“No, no, it’s fine,” he said, putting a black rucksack on the kitchen table. “My apartment’s cleared out and the truck’s all loaded. There’s just one last thing I need to take with me.”“Anything in particular?”In that instant, he was moving, strong arms seizing her by the upper arms and pushing her back against the wall, and Isabel gave an astonished squeal. “You.”Then her soft pink lips were being crushed against his own, tongue plundering her mouth in a passionate kiss, and the slight Filipino woman reciprocated for a brief moment before reason and honour made her twist away. “Stop it!” she cried, squirming helplessly in his grip. “What do you think you’re doing?!”“Being honest with you for once,” Victor proclaimed, drawing her into another bruising, overwhelming kiss. “Showing you how I feel about you. Taking you away from your miserable excuse of a husband.”“What… what to be mean, taking me away?” Isabel demanded, largely to buy herself a moment to process the raging emotions burning inside of her, thoughts torn between screaming for help and letting him kiss her again. “What’s gotten into you, Victor?”“I love you, Isabel, and I can’t bear to see you suffer at the hands of that creep Ricardo any instant longer! This cabin I’ve bought up north is for meant for the both of us. Don’t you see? We can finally be together, finally be happy!”“I can’t do that, Victor, I’m a good wife!”“And where has that gotten you? You’re stuck in a failing marriage with a man who doesn’t deserve you, doesn’t care for you, and probably won’t even notice if you go missing. I can be everything you’d ever want, if you’d just give me a chance.”“That’s not the point! Maybe I do desire you, and maybe Ricardo isn’t worthy, but he doesn’t need to be! A good wife sticks by her husband, no matter what! Don’t force me to choose between you, just don’t!”Sighing, Victor gently took her by the wrist and led her over to the table, free hand reaching into the rucksack. “I understand, Isabel. Believe me, I do.” After a moment’s rummaging, he finally found what he was looking for, and Isabel’s brown eyes widened in shock as the thick roll of duct tape was placed in front of her. “Which is why I’m not giving you a choice.”“Victor, please don’t—mmmppggghhhh!” A firm sponge shoved past her lips stifled any further protests, and Isabel did not resist as she was bent over the table. “Put your hands together,” Victor ordered. Heart pounding with fear, the Filipino woman obeyed, and quickly, he began wrapping the tape around her wrists and fingers, circuit after circuit, until her hands were completely sealed in a silvery-grey cocoon, her palms stuck together so firmly that she’d never be able to pry them apart. Next, her upper body was bound beneath her breasts every stray touch provoking a helpless moan, before even more tape was wrapped around her head to seal her lips and complete the gag, Victor taking the greatest care to avoid getting her short dark locks trapped beneath the sticky material. Within minutes, it was done, all hope of resistance quashed, and Isabel began to sob with fright, shaking her head in helpless denial at the feel of his hands upon her shoulders. “Don’t worry, love, I’m not going to force myself on you,” Victor promised, words false and hollow in her ears. “I’ll still have to go to work at the lodge, but every moment I’m not there, I’m yours. I’ll be a man worthy of you, I promise.”From her hall closet, a brown trenchcoat was produced and drapped over her shoulders, and Victor spent a few minutes fastening it tightly over her body, while a scarf of red wool wrapped over the lower half of her face concealed the gag. When he was finished, Isabel looked for all the world like an ordinary woman out for a stroll on a cold winter’s night, her bondage hidden from prying eyes, and Victor offered what he intended was a reassuring smile as he led her out of the apartment and towards her new life. “You just stay calm and take it easy, love. After all, we’re stuck together…”
. My work schedule means that I wasn't really able to spend as much time on this one as I would have liked, but I hope you enjoy it all the same. Thanks for your support, and have a wonderful weekend!
