Just wanted to post today's entry before I headed into work, as the way things are going, I might not have time tonight. It's also a prompt I was struggling with for a while there, so big thanks to everyone on the Kinktober Discord server who'd offered suggestions and advice, I really appreciate it.
Mercedes Leblanc returns from
Kinktober 2021 - Day 10 - Booby Trap/LabyrinthUpon realizing that she’d passed the exact same wall sconce for the fifth time, Mercedes’ legs refused to go any further. Chest heaving with exertion, the tall blonde slumped against the nearest wall, breathing as deeply as the gag would permit as she struggled to regain her strength, and not for the first time, she regretted ever sighing up for Professor Stevenson’s Classics course. She’d heard the rumours, of course. That he was an eccentric obsessed with ancient Greek myth was common knowledge, and many of his former students had insisted that overwhelming enthusiasm for the material was rather infectious, and made their time studying it all the more rewarding.Still, that none of them had bothered to mention being gagged and forced to wander aimlessly in a labyrinth seemed like an oversight…“The Labyrinth of Minos!” the white-haired scholar had proclaimed that morning before the ten young women who comprised his class, each of them clad in a form-fitting bodysuit like the sort a track star might wear, any questions they might have stifled by muzzles of rigid black leather engulfing the lower halves of their faces and padlocked in place. “Before Theseus descended into its depths to slay the Minotaur, young maidens such as yourself would be sacrificed as prey for the beast, sent into the maze with only their wit and endurance to protect them. Now, I am no Daedalus, but nevertheless, I hope this labyrinth of my own design will give you a taste of what those young men and women endured. Each of you will try to find your way out, and those of you who are successful will automatically pass your final exam.”For most of the class, Mercedes included, that was all the inducement they needed to indulge their crazy old professor, and one by one, every five minutes, they had ventured into the labyrinth, the prospect of less stress at exam time encouraging them to give it their best sort. Or at least, she hoped. For in the hours she’d wandered the maze, helplessly lost, the blonde woman had yet to see hide or hair of her classmates. It was as if the very earth itself had swallowed them whole, and in the darkness, her misgivings began to multiple, panic playing at the edges of her mind. Calm down. As big and confusing as this place is, you could stick a hundred people in here, and they’d never find each other. Never mind, that makes it seem even more scary…Taking a final deep breath to steady herself, Mercedes straightened herself up from the wall and resumed her trek, blue eyes peering ahead to try and tease out the path to freedom. If I get out of this, I will—A loud click and the stone shifting beneath her right foot was the only warning she received. Across the width of the corridor, the trapdoor suddenly opened up, and Mercedes plummeted into the pit, her scream of terror cut short as she splashed into the vat of slime. Terror gave her strength as she sought to claw her way free of the booby trap, but whatever the slime was made of, it was so viscous and cloying that it veritably clung to her lithe body, threatening to drag her under in her struggles.From the mouth of the trapdoor above, Mercedes heard Professor Stevenson tut in disapproval. “I’m quite disappointed in you, Ms. Leblanc. I thought out of all your classmates, you would be the one who would manage to avoid my booby traps and escape! A shame. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to think about your mistakes in detention. Believe me, you’ll be there for a while!”Ignoring her muffled screams, the professor stepped back from the trapdoor, and Mercedes’ heart sank as it closed shut, leaving her in darkness. It’s not all bad, she consoled herself, fighting to escape from the goop. At least this is more interesting than Gender Studies!
