So, yes, I am alive, and I'm doing Kinktober this year <img src="https://e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/smile.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/> . Last year, I was unfortunately unable to produce much of anything during this period, so this time around, I want to try and make a solid effort at writing as many short little drabbles as I can. And while I doubt I'll manage to produce entries for each day's prompt, I thought it would be a neat little exercise to help get the creative juices flowing and chip away at that writer's block. I do feel I have a tendency towards perfectionism that's hampering my writing as of late, so for these, I'm aiming to just go with the flow and produce something neat and quickly. It's been an interesting process so far, and I'd love to hear what you think of the end results!<br /><br />For this entry, I was debating for a while whether to write a wholly original character, or to do something featuring one of my favourite female spellcasters from fiction, like Cho Chang from the Harry Potter franchise or Merrill from the Dragon Age games.
