Yes, I know you've been waiting for far too long for this chapter, and believe me, I'm not even remotely happy with the delay as well. I'll simply just say that real life has been very busy lately, and get on with actually discussing the chapter itself.
Something I've been meaning to explore for a while now is the tension between Sagramor's duties as a Grey Warden and all that implies, good and bad, and the demands of his own private conscience. It's something I've touched on a bit before in previous chapters, but you'll be seeing more of it as time goes on (particularly where beautiful women are involved
), and I wanted to put him into a situation that he wasn't entirely comfortable with ethically, that challenged him in ways other than giving him more monsters to kill. I'm not 100% satisfied with how it turned out here, but let me know what you think, so I can do better for the future.
