My entry for the "In Eyes of the Bad Guy" Collaboration Contest being run by :iconthe-bards-college:, with the always awesome :icongaspode5: doing the art portion and helping to beta-read the story. (I'll be updating this/posting a link to the art half once it's up). Honestly, with the villain-centric theme for the contest, the decision to write a story focusing on Loghain was a no-brainer. Besides connecting to the work I'm doing with The Grey Path (long-time readers of that story will notice a few familiar names and plot threads), Loghain is one of my favourite villains, and certainly one of the best Bioware has ever made, with a lot of complexity to explore and tragedy in his character. And this is coming from a guy who chops off his head every playthrough... The Macbeth connection also seemed like it really fit him: both once-great heroes who succumb to their pride and ambition, and eventually devolve into tyrants who must be defeated for the sake of the land they rule, so putting a Dragon Age take on Act III, Scene IV of that play, again, just seemed like a natural fit for the character.

Hope you all enjoyed, and by all means, let me know what you think! I believe the contest will have a "Viewer's Choice" poll once it closes, so any votes you can send our way would be greatly appreciated. Thanks too to :icongaspode5: for her help in beta-reading and editing this, and be sure to check out the art portion of this collaboration once she's done with it!

UPDATE 5/11/2018: :icongaspode5: has posted the art portion of our submission, and you can check it out here!  The Ferelden Play by Gaspode5 Thanks again for all your hard work on this, my friend!
