Yay, I've finally managed to post another chapter, huzzah! Certainly fits with the spirit of the season too, what with all the rampaging, soul-devouring nightmares threatening our heroes, impending doom&nbsp;and Cronenburg-esque body horror. Merry Christmas, everybody! <img src="https://e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/smile.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/><br /><br />In all seriousness, though, I sincerely hope you enjoy this installment. It was a bit of a struggle to get through, as you might imagine, but I'm fairly happy with the results for once. The Fade sequence is definitely one of the more contentious sections of <i>Dragon Age Origins</i>, and I wanted to do something that reflected more of the characters' personal desires and struggles rather than the more puzzle-focused gameplay present in that level. I hope you all like my take on Niall too; I wanted to offer a more concrete explanation as to why he didn't more actively help the Warden in his efforts to escape, rather than just sitting around being cynical about their chances.
