Those of you familiar with Dragon Age: Origins will probably recognize that it's a bit early in the story, all things considered, for Morrigan's personal quest to start as it does, but there's a reason for that. As much as I liked the Dalish arc in the game, how the writers bridged the gap between the Warden gaining the assistance of a single clan to them, in turn, bringing together a multi-clan force against the Blight felt a little papered over. So that's one of the things I'll be focusing on as the story progresses, and also given the order in which I'll be dealing with the main quests, this really felt like the only good time to have Morrigan request Sagramor's aid with the grimoire; it didn't feel right to shoehorn it in anywhere else.
This chapter also went through a good number of changes, one of which was the addition of Sagramor and Alistair discussing Duncan. I hadn't originally planned for it, but I'd consider it one of the best scenes in this chapter, as it gives greater weight to Alistair's decision to reveal his identity. In any event, I hope you all enjoy! As ever, your continued support and patience is much appreciated.
