And dear God was this a difficult piece to write! I must have gone through at least a score of concepts and plots before finally settling on this, and because of my crazy work schedule, preparations for an upcoming wedding, and so much else, this was largely written in a single draft. Still, I always love writing Leliana, and considering how most of the preview info for <i>Dragon Age: Inquisition</i> has her as this very cold and bitter figure, I wanted to capture a bit of the faithful bard we've all come to know and love. Not 100% happy with the tone, but I've written worse.<br /><br />Hope you all enjoy, and please let me know what you think!
