A bit of a quieter chapter this time around after the intensity of Ostagar, with some set-up for what's to come. And here's where we get our first taste of Arl Howe in all his villainous glory. For those of you who haven't played the game, yes, his first real act in the story is to get his Walder Frey on and break guest right. Unfortunately, his actions in Highever are largely glossed over if you're playing a different origin than Human Noble, so that's one of the things I mean to change with this story, especially since the eventual Rebellion arc I'll be writing is so rooted in the fate of Highever and the Couslands. As for the fate of the Human Noble PC, well, you'll just have to read on and see...<br /><br />Next chapter is going to be largely villain-centric, as the groundwork for the Ferelden Civil War is laid down.
