An entry for <a target="_self" href="https://dragonagestories.deviantart.com/"><img class="avatar" src="https://a.deviantart.net/avatars/d/r/dragonagestories.jpg?1" alt=":icondragonagestories:" title="DragonAgeStories" /></a> January 2013 Writing Challenge contest, and as ever, featuring the hero from <b>The Grey Path</b>, my ongoing Dragon Age: Origins novelization, Sagramor Tabris. I think this is one of the first challenges I did for the group, and it's a pretty good one that I had a lot of fun writing. In 1000 words or less (or 10 panels for a comic), write a story with the following elements:<br /><br />1) Character - A beautiful woman with a terrible secret she must reveal (Leliana and her past as a bard)<br />2) Setting - A dark and dangerous path (the back alleys of Denerim, leading to the docks)<br />3) Prop - The number 13 and a cat (the number of guards escorting the treasure, and the alley cat Sagramor so rudely startles)<br /><br />The full rules are here: (<a href="https://dragonagestories.deviantart.com/journal/January-Writing-Challenge-346098402">[link]</a>), and there's still some time left if you want to enter!
