Between the huge arms carrying her bridal-style seemingly without effort and the ropes bound tight around her petite frame, there would be no escape for Erin St. James. That didn’t stop the tiny young woman from trying, of course, and the abandoned warehouse that served as her prison echoed with her gagged screams as she writhed about in her kidnapper’s grasp. “It’s going to be all right, my love. I know these accommodations aren’t worthy of you, but I need to make sure the police won’t find us.”
“MMMMPPPPGGGHHH!” Erin screamed, bright blue eyes staring indignantly at her captor. For years, she’d worked alongside Desmond with no issue, the sight of the immensely tall young man standing alongside the five-foot woman at the hotel’s front desk rather commonplace. Three years ago, he’d made a clumsy yet gallant offer for her hand that the cute brunette had ultimately denied, mostly out of a desire not to get romantically entangled with a coworker, and that should have been the end of it. Indeed, for all that time, she believed it was, never detecting the slightest hint of resentment towards her, never believing that his desire for her survived that rejection.
Never imagining that the huge young man was simply biding his time.
Until that night. She’d been walking towards her car following the office Christmas party, her petite figure flattered by her little black dress and knee-high boots when a huge hand seized her from behind, clamping tight over her mouth and dragging her into the shadows. The tiny prick of the needle at her neck was the last thing she remember before waking up in his arms, her own bound behind her back with rope, more coils encircling her upper body below her breasts and keeping her legs hobbled at the ankles. Finally, a huge black ball gag filled her mouth to bursting and stifled her screams, jaw throbbing with pain from its sheer size. Gingerly, Desmond made his way down a set of worn concrete steps into the warehouse’s basement, setting his prisoner down on a tiny cot he’d prepared. “Mmmmppggghhh!” Erin protested as she was set down, trying vainly to squirm away from the thick fingers running through her short brown hair. “MMMMPPPPGGGHHHH!”
“You’re so beautiful,” Desmond murmured, right hand sliding down to rest at her hip, feeling her struggle beneath his touch. “I kept trying not to think of you, Erin, and move on with my life, but I just couldn’t. The way I feel about you… I won’t deny it any longer. I can’t.”
“MMMMPPPPGGGHHH!” Huge hands ran all over her tiny body, gentle and possessive and seemingly oblivious to her struggles and screams of terror. “MMMMPPPPPGGGHHHH! NNNGGGHHH!”
“I understand. It took me years to work up the courage to bring you here. I know it’ll take time for you to accept my love.” He stood, huge frame blotting out the fluorescent lights overhead to leave Erin in shadow, and feeling smaller and more helpless than ever. “But we have all the time in the world now…”
