The imposter wearing her face paused to preen in front of the full-length mirror one last time, duplicated pouty pink lips blowing herself a kiss in the glass, while borrowed hands eagerly traced over her borrowed form and through long, raven-black hair to draw a moan of pleasure. “Merlin, I’m so sexy like this,” she whispered, perfectly mimicking her own Scottish brogue if not her diction. Brown eyes that were mirrors of her own stared at her with an unfamiliar cruelty, sending chills running along her spine that had absolutely nothing to do with the winter cold dancing across her bare skin. “No wonder half the school lusts after you. About time I got that attention for myself, don’t you think?”

Twenty-year-old Cho Chang met the suggestion with obstinate silence, brown eyes sullen above the leather gag. There was little point in screaming for help, for the private apartments granted to students at Hogwarts University of Witchcraft and Wizardry like herself were thoroughly soundproofed in the name of privacy, and no one beyond its walls would be able to hear her, even with the gag removed. Instead, she focused her efforts on trying to escape, lithe body squirming against the ropes binding her fast. It was useless. Whoever had ambushed her as she returned to the apartment knew her ropes. The coils binding her arms behind her back at the wrists and elbows, those securing her legs at the ankles and thighs, and the final length wrapped around her upper body beneath her breasts, none gave way despite her best efforts, the ropes creaking with her every movement as if to mock the futility of her struggles. Biting back helpless tears, the beautiful Ravenclaw persisted, letting the growing anger fuel her efforts. It was bad enough she’d been taken captive, worse still it was inside her private refuge.

But that her assailant was wearing her face, assuming her form and walking about the apartment like she owned it? That was beyond the pale, and a growl of anger escaped past the stifling leather bound over her mouth, much to the imposter’s amusement. “Oh, how cute of you, Cho,” the other woman said, striding over to the bed with the click of stiletto heels. Who the intruder was, Cho couldn’t be certain, the drug-soaked cloth clamped over her nose and mouth from behind giving her no opportunity to see her attacker’s face, never mind try and stop her. Yet she’d awoke from her unwilling slumber to behold her own reflection standing over her, every last detail perfectly replicated, presumably by Polyjuice Potion. She’d even gone so far as to steal Cho’s clothes to complete the disguise, leaving her stripped down to her black silk undergarments in the process, and now the imposter stood before the struggling witch in the Hogwarts university-level uniform of a white cotton blouse, black woolen sweater, Ravenclaw-pattern tie, black pantyhose tights and pleated black skirt, complete with Cho’s trademark knee-high, stiletto-heeled black leather boots. “You actually think you’re getting out of this? Trust me, Cho, you’re going nowhere. I didn’t go through all the trouble of developing a longer-lasting formula of Polyjuice Potion just to let you escape.”

“Mmmppgghhh!” Cho gave a muffled protest. Imitation hands seized her by the chin, yanking her face up to meet the imposter’s, and the Asian woman gasped in fright at the malice she saw reflected in those stolen eyes. “Mmmpppggghh, nnnnggghhh!”

“Are you enjoying yourself, my dear? I know I am.” Cruel hands knotted in her long dark hair and pulled, provoking a cry of pain. “Putting a stuck-up cow you like in her place always amuses me, and after all you’ve done, it’s no more than you deserve. Ravenclaws are supposed to be smart, so understand this. Everything you are, everything you have, Cho, it all belongs to me now: your life, your looks, your wealth… Harry…”

At the mere mention of her ex-boyfriend, something snapped inside Cho, and she lunged forward as best as her bonds would permit, the apartment suddenly alive with muffled threats and promises of vengeance. The imposter gave another cruel laugh, another tug of the Ravenclaw’s glossy black locks bringing her to heel. “And why shouldn’t I have my fun with Harry? It’s not like you ever deserved him in the first place. You’ve pined after him for years hoping for another chance, but never had the courage to actually try and make him your own. I’m not going to be that weak.”

“MMMPPPGGGHHH!” Cho screamed, gut recoiling at the thought. She had no claim to Harry, and deep down, she knew he was more than capable of taking care of himself. Even so, that anyone would try and take advantage of him, while mimicking her at that… “Mmmmppgghh, mmmmmppppggghh! MMMMMPPPGGGGHHH!”

“And I suppose that’s the point, isn’t it?” said the imposter, blithely dismissive of Cho’s outrage. “I’m not mimicking you. I’m replacing you. Because I’m a better Cho Chang than you could ever hope to be.” A hand reached up, sliding off one of her bra straps to leave Cho’s right shoulder bare. “It’s a shame I can’t get rid you. I know a few former Snatchers in Knockturn Alley who’d pay handsomely for a pretty pureblood, but the potion needs living samples to keep working.” Cho moaned in terror at the implication. “A shame, but there’s nothing to be done. I’ll see to some more permanent arrangements later, but for now, there’s a very handsome Gryffindor I need to seduce.”

The drug-soaked cloth came up once more, and Cho had a moment to scream before the imposter forced it over her face. “Nnnnnggghhh… mmmmpppggghhh…” the beautiful Ravenclaw moaned weakly, strength robbed in the space of heartbeats, darkness clawing at the edges of her vision. “Mmmmppppghhhh…”

“Just relax and breathe it in,” crooned the imposter. “Don’t fret. Cho Chang is going to live the life she deserves now…”
