Many new arrivals in Brentwood are struct by just how conservative the community appears at first. Many have expressed that the whole town and countryside look like they come right out of a 1950s American sitcom with men in smart suits going to work, women in fetching dresses shopping and homemaking, and all on clean, well-maintained, well-ordered streets. However, this is only the surface of Brentwood.
For a community of its size, Brentwood has an enormous number of establishments that cater to men's interests. Spec's Bar and Grill, for instance, features excellent burgers sourced from Brentwood farms and locally brewed beer. The big draw however, is the waitress staff.
Mr. Spec has invested a great deal of money in importing female politicians, business owners, managers, professors, etc to serve as waitresses in his establishment. The formally powerful ladies all wear the "Spec's girl" uniform, which consists only of black thigh-high stockings, black pumps, and a small, frilly waist-apron. They're kept very busy with 16 hour shifts 6 days a week.
One especially notable thing at Spec's, is when one of the waitresses comes to initially greet one of her tables she hands out menus and also what is referred to as her rap sheet, which is a list of her past crimes e.g. her previous career, any anti-male ideas she may have expressed, and pro-female ideas she may have expressed, etc. In addition to groping and generally harassing the waitress, customers are encouraged "give her a hard time" about her past throughout the service. If a customer can make his waitress cry by the end of service without touching her, he gets half-off his meal.
Not only is Mr. Spec respected as a businessman around the community, he is also seen as a true humanitarian. Since he's been in business he's saved dozens of misguided and confused females from their old lives and given them real purpose.
