The boutique was unlike any place you'd ever worked before. It was elegant, almost suffocating in its opulence. The walls were lined with shimmering gowns, each one more elaborate than the next, their intricate lace and satin details gleaming under soft, perfectly angled lights. The space smelled faintly of roses, mingling with the unmistakable scent of freshly pressed fabric. It felt more like stepping into a world of fantasy than a place of business.

Your first day had been uneventful, mostly shadowing Marie, the boutique’s enigmatic owner, and learning the delicate, almost ritualistic process of helping brides select their perfect dress. She moved with a practiced grace, her movements precise and deliberate, her sharp eyes constantly assessing. There was something about the way she spoke, the way she watched you, that made you feel like she was sizing you up, even now, as you stood among the pristine rows of gowns.

Marie’s presence dominated the boutique, her every word laced with authority. She had been nothing but polite, even charming in a way, but there was an undercurrent to her tone that unsettled you. Her voice was smooth, her smile professional, but something darker lurked beneath it, something you couldn’t quite place. And yet, despite the sense of unease that had been growing since you first arrived, you told yourself that it was just nerves. New job jitters, nothing more.

She’d barely spoken to you throughout most of the day, only offering curt instructions and cold, analytical glances as you observed the process of selling bridal gowns. Brides would enter the boutique, nervous but excited, and leave transformed, dressed in layers of silk and satin, glowing under Marie’s expert eye. But now that the shop was empty, the day’s work done, Marie’s attention had shifted entirely to you.

"You’ve done well today," she said, her voice cutting through the quiet of the boutique as she moved toward you. She was perfectly composed, as always, her sharp brown eyes locking onto yours in a way that made it hard to look away.

“Thank you,” you replied, your voice sounding smaller than you intended. Something about being alone in the shop with her made you feel vulnerable, exposed.

Marie stopped a few steps away, studying you for a long moment before speaking again. "There’s something you need to understand before you can really be useful here," she said, her voice low but firm, a note of authority in every word.

You frowned, unsure of what she meant. "I’m happy to learn whatever you need me to. I want to be good at this," you replied, trying to sound confident.

Her lips curved into a slight smile, but it didn’t reach her eyes. "Good. You’re eager. But it’s not just about how well you assist customers. This is a boutique for brides. You can’t truly help them if you don’t understand the experience yourself."

You blinked, confused. "The experience?"

Marie’s gaze drifted toward one of the gowns on a nearby rail, an extravagant creation of ivory satin and lace, its long train spilling over the floor in delicate waves. It was the kind of dress that looked like it belonged in a fairy-tale, its beauty undeniable. But as your eyes followed hers, a strange sensation crept into your chest, an inexplicable unease.

"You have to feel it," Marie continued, her voice quieter now, almost hypnotic. "To understand what we offer, what these women go through, you need to wear a gown. Only then will you grasp what it means to be part of this place."

Your stomach twisted at her words, a growing sense of dread mixing with confusion. "You… you want me to try on a dress?"

Marie’s smile widened, though the warmth that should have accompanied it never materialized. "Yes," she said simply, as though the request were the most natural thing in the world. "In order to become part of this boutique, to really get what we offer. It’s not just about selling a gown, it’s about understanding the experience and being exactly what the bride to be needs you to be."

You hesitated, feeling a sudden urge to leave, to walk out the door and never come back. But there was something in her eyes, something commanding and unyielding, that made it impossible to refuse. It was as though her will was pressing down on you, leaving you with no choice but to comply. The air in the room seemed heavier, denser, and the once beautiful gowns around you felt more like watching sentinels, their presence stifling.

Your throat tightened, and you forced yourself to nod, despite the warning bells ringing in your mind. "Alright," you said, the word barely escaping your lips.

Marie’s smile grew colder, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction. She moved toward the gown on the rail, her fingers trailing over the soft satin fabric with almost reverent care. "This one will do," she said softly, though her voice carried an undeniable weight.

Without another word, she gestured for you to follow her toward the fitting area, where she hung the gown so you could see it in all its gleaming, ethereal glory. Your pulse quickened, and you couldn’t quite place why. This was just part of the job, just an initiation, nothing more, you told yourself. But the growing sense of dread in your chest refused to quiet down.

Marie stood in front of you, her eyes gleaming with a cold, predatory amusement as she circled around you, the dim light of the boutique casting long, oppressive shadows across the walls. The air felt thick and stifling, and your heartbeat hammered in your ears as you realized what she was about to ask of you.

“Strip,” she commanded, her voice low and smooth, yet with an edge that left no room for argument. The word seemed to echo in the confined space, lingering in the air like a trap waiting to spring.

Your stomach churned with anxiety, and yet, somewhere deep within that terror, a strange heat began to rise, a sensation that filled you with shame. You hesitated, staring at her, trying to find a reason to refuse, but the look in her eyes and the way her gaze pinned you to the spot, it made it clear you had no choice. Her power over you was absolute.

With trembling hands, you slowly began to unbutton your shirt. Each button you fumbled with felt like a weight being lifted, leaving you more exposed, more vulnerable under her relentless gaze. As you pulled the shirt off your shoulders, the cold air of the boutique hit your skin, sending a shiver down your spine. Your hands moved to your belt next, and you couldn’t help but notice how Marie’s eyes never left you, watching your every movement with unsettling intensity.

You kicked off your shoes, your pants soon following, and now stood in nothing but your underwear. You tried to hide the growing arousal building between your legs, but the tightness in your chest and the way her eyes seemed to focus on every exposed inch of you made it impossible. You cursed your body’s betrayal as you realized, with a sickening dread, that the humiliation of the moment was fuelling something darker within you.

Marie stood before you, her gaze sharp and unyielding, every second dripping with the cold, calculated control that made your skin crawl. You had stripped down as much as you could bear, now only in your underwear, but the thought of removing that last layer of clothing made your pulse race in a mixture of fear and something darker, something more shameful.

"Take off everything," she said, her voice a soft but commanding whisper that cut through the tension in the room.

Your heart pounded in your chest as your fingers hovered near the waistband of your underwear. You knew what was waiting beneath the fabric, your body had already betrayed you. You could feel your arousal pressing against the tight material, painfully obvious, and the thought of her seeing it, of her knowing, made a wave of humiliation crash over you. Yet, despite the fear, you couldn’t stop the throbbing.

Marie tilted her head, watching you with an unsettling mix of amusement and anticipation, her lips curling into a slow, wicked smile. She took a step forward, closing the distance between you with agonizing deliberation. Her presence was overwhelming, suffocating. You wanted to look away, but her eyes held you in place, as if daring you to disobey her.

“You’re hesitating,” she whispered, her voice mocking, yet with a soft, almost teasing lilt. "You'd think you've never been naked in front of a woman before?"

Your breath caught in your throat, panic and shame tightening your chest.

When you still didn’t move, Marie sighed softly, the sound filled with both amusement and frustration. “If you won’t take them off,” she said, her tone mocking, “then I’ll do it for you.”

Marie’s eyes gleamed with amusement as she knelt before you, her fingers hooked around the waistband of your underwear. The tension in the air was suffocating, every second dragging out painfully as you stood there, frozen in place. You already knew how humiliating this was going to be, how much worse it was going to get.

Without a word, she began to pull your underwear down, the fabric sliding over your hips, her fingers brushing against your skin with deliberate slowness. Your breath caught in your throat as she bent lower to tug the fabric all the way down, and that’s when it happened.

Your erection, freed from the restraint of the fabric, sprang up inches from her face. The heat of the moment made everything feel sharper, more intense. The air between you seemed to hum with the weight of what was happening, and Marie froze for a moment, her breath warm and soft against your most sensitive skin.

Her eyes widened just slightly, a flicker of something almost… desirous crossing her face. She didn’t move away. Instead, her lips curled into a slow, wicked smile, her gaze flicking up to meet yours. The heat from her face, so close to your erection, was unbearable, and you felt every pulse, every throb in vivid detail.

Marie’s hand moved with agonizing slowness, her fingers leaving your underwear and then wrapping around you, exploring every inch with a careful, deliberate touch. Her grip was firm but teasing, the slow strokes sending waves of unbearable tension through your body. You couldn’t move, couldn’t think, your breath was shallow, your heart pounding in your ears as she seemed to be taking her time, almost savouring the control she had over you.

Then her lips parted slightly, and her tongue began to slowly slip out, the tip of it teasingly close to your skin. It felt as if the world had narrowed down to this moment, the unbearable anticipation building with each second. Her tongue hovered just millimetres away, the warmth of her breath cascading over that part of you, sending a shiver through your entire body.

Marie seemed to truly want it, her tongue drawing even closer, almost touching the sensitive skin of your arousal. Her breath, her touch, everything was making you throb painfully. You could feel the tension coiling tighter, your body reacting to the teasing in ways that made the humiliation cut deeper.

Her tongue flicked out just barely, the soft, warm wetness of it almost making contact, and it felt like she might actually do it, that she might actually take this further. The heat of her mouth so close made your knees feel weak, your breath ragged with the overwhelming mix of emotions, shame, arousal, and something far more primal.

But then, just as her lips parted wider, she suddenly pulled back. The tension broke like a snapped string. She blinked, her smile widening with amusement as she stood up, leaving you trembling and exposed.

“I’d love to play with you,” she purred, her voice soft but cutting, “but that's not what we are here for.” she said with her tone becoming more business-like.

Her words hit you like a slap, and the sharp shift in the moment left you reeling. The sudden absence of her touch, her presence so close, left you throbbing with frustration, your body trembling with unfulfilled anticipation. Your erection still pulsed painfully in the aftermath of her teasing, every inch of you burning with the humiliation of being left at the edge.

Without sparing you another glance, Marie turned away, walking casually toward the rack of gowns. It was as though the entire moment had been nothing more than an amusement for her, a passing game. The sense of control, of power she wielded over you, was absolute, and the worst part was that she knew it.

Marie’s eyes gleamed with satisfaction as she strode toward the rail that the dress was hanging on, her movements slow and deliberate, each step filling the air with a sense of inevitability. The tension between you was suffocating, a mix of dread and something far more humiliating. You stood there, exposed and vulnerable after everything that had already transpired, knowing that what was coming next would only deepen the shame burning in your chest.

She moved gracefully, her fingers skimming the fabric of the gown that seemed to shimmer under the soft lighting of the boutique. It was breath-taking in its beauty but filled you with dread. The gown was a massive creation of gleaming ivory satin, with layers of soft tulle peeking out from beneath the skirt. It seemed to glow, the satin so smooth and rich that it caught the light with every ripple, like liquid silk. The bodice was adorned with intricate floral lace, delicate vines climbing up the front, wrapping around the fitted corseted structure, and leading into a high, modest neckline. But what caught your attention most were the sleeves, large, puffed sleeves made of delicate lace, tulle and satin, sitting high on the shoulders before tapering into a tighter fit at the elbows.

The skirt of the gown flared out dramatically from the waist, cascading down in waves of satin and tulle, and it was clear from the volume that it would engulf anyone who wore it. The gown was undeniably beautiful, but in its grandeur, but to you it almost looked like a costume, something meant to trap and control the wearer, making them a spectacle.

Marie turned back to you, her smile wicked, as she held the dress out in front of her. "This will make you understand" she murmured, the satisfaction in her voice unmistakable. "Let’s get you into it, shall we?"

You stood frozen, your heart pounding in your chest as the reality of what was about to happen settled over you like a weight. The idea of stepping into that gown, of letting her dress you in something so extravagant, so feminine, was almost too much to bear. Your cheeks burned with shame, and you could feel the heat of embarrassment crawling up your neck.

“Step into the dress,” Marie ordered, her tone leaving no room for hesitation.

Your legs felt like lead as you moved forward, your steps awkward and slow. The fabric of the dress pooled on the floor, waiting for you, and with a shaking hand, you lifted one foot and stepped into the centre of the gown. The satin brushed against your skin as you stepped in, cool and smooth, but the sensation was more overwhelming than comforting. It clung to your legs as you lowered the other foot inside, the weight of the dress already beginning to settle around you.

Marie crouched beside you, lifting the heavy skirts with ease as she began pulling the dress higher, her fingers brushing against your bare legs with a deliberate slowness that made the embarrassment burn even hotter in your chest. The satin glided up your thighs, the sensation sending shivers through you, but there was no escape from the moment. The full weight of the gown settled around your hips, the thick layers of fabric swishing softly with every movement, making you acutely aware of how completely it enveloped you.

The puffed sleeves, large and voluminous, rustled softly as Marie adjusted the bodice, the lace brushing against your bare shoulders as she slipped your arms into the sleeves. The sleeves sat high on your shoulders, the fabric ballooning out in exaggerated, airy shapes that only added to the overwhelming sense of helplessness. You could feel the satin tightening around your upper arms as Marie pulled the fabric into place, securing the cuffs with delicate buttons. The lace was fine and intricate, but the puffed sleeves felt heavy, almost ridiculous, as they loomed over you, making you feel even smaller, even more out of place in the gown.

Marie moved behind you, her fingers working quickly as she began to lace up the back of the dress. The bodice was tight, its structure pressing against your ribs as she pulled the laces with sharp, practiced tugs. Each pull tightened the corset more, squeezing your chest and waist until your breath came in short, shallow gasps. The lace that adorned the bodice traced patterns along your torso, delicate flowers and vines that seemed to cling to you, wrapping around you like a second skin.

Your heart pounded as the pressure built, the dress pulling you into a shape that wasn’t your own. The weight of the full skirt pressed down on you, making every step feel heavier, more deliberate. The satin rustled with every slight movement, the fabric dragging softly against the floor, a constant reminder of how engulfed you were in this gown.

“It looks beautiful,” Marie murmured, stepping back to admire her work. Her voice was soft, almost teasing, and filled with satisfaction.

You wanted to speak, to protest, but the tightness of the bodice left you breathless. The puffed sleeves rested high on your shoulders, making your arms feel stiff and awkward, the fabric tight around your arms in a way that was both uncomfortable and humiliating. The full skirt swirled around your legs with every slight movement, brushing against your skin in soft, silken waves that made you hyperaware of every inch of the gown.

Marie’s hands lingered at your waist for a moment longer, her fingers smoothing the satin as she circled around you, her gaze never leaving your face. “Turn,” she ordered, her voice gentle but commanding.

You hesitated, but her eyes left no room for refusal. Slowly, you turned, the heavy skirt dragging slightly against the floor as you moved. The satin whispered with every step, the rustling sound filling the silence of the boutique. You could feel the gown pulling at you with every movement, the fabric swirling around your legs, the puffed sleeves bouncing slightly as you tried to adjust to the weight of the dress.

“Good,” Marie whispered, her lips curling into a smile as she watched you. “it moves really well.”

Your cheeks burned with humiliation. Every step, every rustle of the satin, reminded you of how completely you were trapped in this gown. The puffed sleeves felt absurdly large, the weight of the skirt dragging you down, the tightness of the corset making it difficult to breathe. You could feel the lace against your skin, delicate but suffocating, and the full weight of the gown pressed down on you, making you feel as though you were drowning in the fabric.

Marie’s eyes gleamed as she watched you, her satisfaction evident in the way she studied every detail of how the dress fit, how it held you. “Now,” she murmured, her voice soft and filled with a dark sort of pleasure, “you understand.”

Your breath came in shallow, trembling gasps, the tightness of the bodice pressing against your ribs, the huge skirt billowing out from your waist. The gown was beautiful, opulent, extravagant, but wearing it made you feel trapped, controlled, and utterly humiliated. Every brush of satin, every tug of the fabric, was a reminder of the power she had over you.

Marie stepped closer, her fingers lightly trailing over the delicate lace at your collarbone, sending a shiver through you. “You look perfect,” she whispered while looking at the gown, her voice filled with dark satisfaction.

Marie moved behind you once more “but maybe we could bring it in a little at the waist” she mused as she began to adjust the corset strings again.

The gown tightened with each pull of Marie’s hands, squeezing your ribs, your chest, your waist until your breath became shallow and strained. The fabric felt heavy, far heavier than it should have, as though it was slowly wrapping around you, gripping tighter with every passing second.

"You can feel it, can’t you?" Marie whispered, her voice disturbingly close, as if she knew exactly what was happening inside you. "The dress is more than just fabric. It wants you. It needs you."

Your pulse quickened, panic rising in your chest as you realized she was right. The dress wasn’t just tight it was alive. The satin sleeves clung to your arms, fusing with your skin in a way that made your stomach turn. You reached your hands to the biceps of the opposite arms and tried to pull the satin away from your skin, but the gown had you now the fabric was one with your skin. The more you struggled, the tighter it became, pulling you deeper into its grip.

"Marie..." you gasped, but as she pulled the corset tighter again, you found it cutting off your words, leaving you breathless.

She then moved in front of you, her eyes gleaming with a cruel satisfaction. "Oh, you’re going to make an absolutely lovely addition," she said, her voice now dripping with a seductive malice. "isn't it glorious how the dress is taking you. Piece by piece."

You could feel the fabric crawling over your skin, merging with your body, you glance down and can see it almost completed turning your arms into lifeless, decorative puffed sleeves ending where your elbow used to be.

Your legs trembled as the weight of the gown increased, and suddenly, you couldn’t stand anymore. The dress, now impossibly heavy, pulled you to the floor and you found yourself collapsing to the floor, your body crumpling. The satin spreads around you like a cloud, shimmering under the soft lights, but there’s nothing soft about the way it clings to you. The dress isn’t just tight anymore, it’s devouring you, pulling you deeper into its suffocating embrace. Every breath is a battle, every second more agonizing than the last as the fabric tightens, fuses, and consumes.

Your legs feel useless now, locked inside the endless folds of satin, trapped and stiffened by the dress’s grip. Your arms, once able to reach out in desperation, are now nothing but puffed sleeves, useless and gently flapping as you try to move them to like your human arms, but the satin and lace won’t allow it. The gown has taken over your body, your limbs are no longer your own, they are just parts of the decorative embellishments that make up this terrible masterpiece.

Marie stands over you, her gaze cold and triumphant, watching your struggle with detached satisfaction. She tilts her head slightly, admiring the way the gown has absorbed you so far, the way you’re disappearing into it more with every breath you try to take.

“I told you,” she says softly, her voice almost soothing. “The dress needs you. You can’t resist it. You’re becoming part of something so much more beautiful now.”

Her words send a new wave of panic through you, but you can’t even express it. The corset is too tight, squeezing your chest and stomach, pressing the very air out of your lungs. Every inch of the dress feels like it’s alive, like it’s pulsating with energy, wrapping itself around you, fusing with your flesh.

You glance down in horror as you realize the satin is no longer just absorbing your torso and limbs, your neck and head is now sinking into the dress, the satin is pulling all of you in. The suffocating tightness of the gown grips you with unrelenting force, the satin clinging to the last of your skin while it is absorbing every part of you. Your arms, legs, and torso have already been consumed by the dress, now nothing but soft, decorative extensions of the fabric. You lie crumpled on the floor, no longer able to stand, feeling the weight of the gown pinning you down, forcing you deeper into it.

You are constrained by the crushing corset that holds you in its vice-like grip. The soft rustle of the satin is the only sound you can make now, as anything more than the very slightest of movements has been taken from you. The dress has already removed your freedom, your very identity. But the final, most intimate part of you remains, and you can feel it stirring beneath the layers of the gown.

Your penis, trapped within the tight confines of the corset and the heavy folds of satin of your skirt, is still there. But even that, you know, is not safe from what’s coming. You can feel the satin all around it, pulling, tugging in ways that send an odd mix of panic and twisted arousal surging through you. You already know there is no way to save it. The gown will have it too.

Marie steps forward, her cold, calculating smile never leaving her lips. She kneels beside you, her fingers brushing against the satin skirt that has already consumed your legs. “Ah,” she murmurs, her voice soft, “this is the final piece, isn’t it?”

Her hand then reaches beneath the layers of the gown, disappearing into the voluminous folds of the skirt... Your skirt. You can feel her fingers brush against what is like the inside of your inner thigh, light, teasing, and it sends a shiver through you. Even now, with your body trapped in this nightmare, you can still feel the warm touch of her hand moving beneath the layers of fabric. The sensation is both humiliating and terrifying.

Marie’s hand moves higher, her fingers tracing a path toward your groin, which still remains human, still untouched by the transformation that has already consumed the rest of you. For a brief moment, you feel an overwhelming sense of dread as her fingers curl around what remains of your manhood. She grips it lightly, her touch cold and possessive.

“There it is,” she whispers, her voice low and cruel. “The last piece of you. Very impressive, but not for long.”

You try to move, try to twist away from her touch, but you are helpless under the weight of the gown. The soft rustle of satin is the only response your body can make as Marie’s hand begins to tug gently, teasingly, at your penis. Her fingers, firm but delicate, play with the last part of your humanity, and the humiliation burns deep in your chest. Even now, even with everything happening, your body betrays you. There’s a flicker of arousal, mingling with the terror, and she feels it.

“Oh, I see you can still feel my touch” Marie murmurs, her voice mocking. She gives your penis a gentle squeeze, her fingers trailing down the length of it in a slow, deliberate motion.

And then the transformation begins.

It’s slow at first, a dull, throbbing ache deep inside your groin as the fabric of the gown begins to affect it. The satin brushes against your skin, as Marie's hand is gripping your penis with a relentless, constricting force. The sensation is unbearable, a mix of pressure, pain, and something horribly wrong. You can feel it stretching, elongating, as if being pulled from the inside out.

Marie’s fingers never leave you, guiding the transformation, teasing you with every agonizing change. She grips you tightly, holding your penis in her hand as it begins to warp and shift beneath her touch. The skin softens, becomes smooth, turning into something slick, something unnatural.

You want to scream, to cry out, but you can't do anything but gently ripple your fabric. The pain intensifies as your penis thins, stretching longer and longer, transforming into something delicate and fragile. You can feel it slipping away from you, becoming something else entirely.

“It’s nearly finished,” Marie whispers, her fingers tracing the length of your penis as it changes. “You’re becoming the perfect dress, aren’t you?”

Marie shifts, as she pulls the ribbon from under the layers of the gown, letting it slip free from the folds of satin that have consumed your legs. The transformation is complete now—your penis is no longer yours. It’s nothing but a decorative piece, a satin.

You are horrified as she smiles stroking the length of what was once your penis. The transformation has turned your manhood into a long, delicate ribbon, smooth and shimmering, glossy in the dim light of the boutique.

“Look at what your pride and joy has become,” she says, her voice a mixture of mockery and delight. “Just a beautiful little ribbon. Nothing more.”

You can feel every movement as she toys with the ribbon, her fingers winding it around, pulling it taut, teasing you with the weight of what you’ve lost. There’s a strange, horrifying awareness in every part of your body, the satin skirt, the puffed sleeves, the corset and now this delicate ribbon, all once part of you, all now just pieces of the dress.

With a final, firm motion, Marie lifts your bodice, wraps the ribbon around your waist and ties it into a bow at the small of your back, her fingers moving with expert precision. The sensation is excruciating, the final step in your complete transformation. You are no longer human. You are no longer anything but a gown, satin, lace, and a delicate ribbon, all tied neatly together, all part of the beautiful, horrifying creation that now defines you.

Marie steps back, the sound of her heels clicking softly on the floor as she moves to admire the creation you’ve become. You lie there, crumpled and lifeless on the floor of the boutique, your body nothing more than a heap of shimmering satin and lace, your mind still trapped inside the dress that now defines you. The weight of the fabric presses down on you, making it impossible to move in any way but the faint rustle of satin. Every inch of you is absorbed into the gown, every shred of humanity consumed by the transformation.

Your consciousness still clings to the remnants of your being, trapped in the soft folds of the dress. You can feel it all, every movement, every shift of the fabric as the dress settles into place. But you are powerless to do anything about it. You are trapped, bound by the very satin and lace dress that was once just a thing you were trying to sell, but is now your entire existence.

Marie’s cold, calculating eyes sweep over you with a look of satisfaction. She bends down, her fingers brushing lightly over the fabric that used to be your skin, smoothing out the creases that formed when you collapsed to the floor. Her touch is gentle but possessive, like she’s adjusting a precious garment before putting it on display.

“You’ve done so well,” Marie says softly, her voice filled with dark pleasure. “I knew you’d make a beautiful gown. And now, you’ll be appreciated by someone who truly deserves to wear you.”

Her words send a cold shiver of dread through you, even though you have no body left to shiver with. You understand, with growing horror, what she means. You are not just a display piece you are going to be sold, worn by someone who will have no idea what you once were, what you have become. You are nothing more than a commodity now, a dress waiting for the right bride-to-be to try you on, to parade you down the aisle, completely oblivious to the nightmare hidden within the beautiful satin folds.

Marie stands and moves to the side of the room, pulling out a padded hanger from the rail, its pristine white satin gleaming under the soft lights. She returns to where you lie on the floor, gathering the gown, no... the you... in her hands. It's a dizzying sensation as she lifts you from the floor, the weight of the satin shifting and rippling around you. The world tilts as she carefully threads the hanger through the delicate straps that now make up your shoulders, the fabric pulling taut as you drape down from the hanger. The world shifts again as she pushes two other dresses out of the way as you are hung from the rail.

You dangle there, swaying gently, feeling every subtle movement of the gown you now are as you adjust to your new position. The puffed sleeves droop slightly, hanging lifelessly at your sides, the bow tied neatly at your back brushing against the satin folds. You can feel it all, the way the fabric moves, the way the dress clings to the hanger, the way the air feels against your surface. But you are no longer in control of any of it. You are completely at the mercy of the gown, and by extension, Marie.

“There,” Marie says softly, stepping back to admire her handiwork. “Now you’re ready.”

You hang motionless on the rail, surrounded by other gowns, each one as beautiful and ornate as you, each one pristine and untouched. But now, in your new form, you wonder if you are truly alone in this fate. Are the other dresses like you, trapped souls hidden behind layers of satin and lace, waiting for the day when they, too, will be worn by unsuspecting brides? The thought is unbearable, but there’s no way to know. All you can do is wait.

Marie turns away, moving to the front of the boutique, leaving you hanging there in silence. The shop feels emptier now, colder, the once inviting space now a prison. The soft hum of the lights fills the air, and the gentle sway of the fabric is the only movement you can feel.

Time passes, though you have no sense of how long. Minutes? Hours? Days? You hang there, motionless, powerless, waiting for the inevitable moment when someone will come for you.

And then it happens.

The bell above the door rings softly, signalling the arrival of a customer. You can’t see her, but you can hear the soft footsteps of someone walking into the shop. Marie’s voice greets them warmly, her tone light and professional, a far cry from the cold, commanding voice she used with you.

"Yes, of course," Marie says. "We have something very special in the back. I think you’ll find it absolutely perfect."

You feel a rising sense of dread as Marie’s footsteps grow closer. She’s coming for you. The realization sinks in like a stone, she’s going to sell you. You are no longer a person, no longer an employee, no longer anything but a gown, waiting to be worn by a bride who has no idea of what lies beneath the beautiful, shimmering surface of the dress.

Marie’s hand lift you from the rail, and the world tilts once more as you are carried into the front of the boutique. The customer gasps softly, her voice filled with awe as she sees you for the first time.

“It’s beautiful,” the woman whispers. “It’s lovely.”

You can feel the air shift around you as she steps closer, her fingers brushing lightly over the fabric. The sensation is overwhelming, knowing that you are being touched, admired, and yet you can do nothing. You are helpless, trapped inside the dress.

Marie smiles, her voice dripping with satisfaction as she speaks. “Yes, it is. You’ll be the perfect bride in this gown.”

And as the transaction is made, you lay there, draped over the counter knowing your fate is sealed. No longer a person, just fabric, lace, and satin.

You are nothing but a dress, destined to be worn by someone who will never know the horror stitched into every seam.

And when she walks down the aisle, you’ll be there, silent, beautiful, and forever trapped.
