Originally this story was supposed to be a lot longer, with entire scenes detailing each and every transformation as Shay chased Buster across the school, but I realized it was basically getting to be the same scene over and over and over again and just dropped it to the beginning and the end.

I like the idea of a school club that's one part teenage whimsy, one part assimilating horror. The idea is that you can sign up on your own without any undue effects, but if the club has to recruit you itself you get changed into someone who fits what it wants.
