I really should have submitted this for Halloween, given that it technically involves ghosts. It was done by then, but I just didn't get around to it.<br /><br />The idea that being transformed physically and mentally is enough of a "death" that it turns you into a ghost is inspired by a TG story I once read ages ago, which as basically a twist on the typical "girl turns boyfriend into best friend" story, except she ended up getting haunted. Don't worry, I'm not saying that this is what happens whenever someone gets mental changed in one of my stories (given how often I do mental changes), but I did want to explore the idea a little.
