A sort of prequel to Changed for the Beach. Somewhere along the line, I decided that Jeanette - the best friend of the evil witch from that story - was "canonically" one of the most powerful magic users to ever appear in any of my stories, mostly to make her final fate more ironic. She's also the little girl in the Surf and Shade story in Duo of Transformational Tales - the one who easily turns a full grown witch into an object without trying.

Going off that, I had the idea to do a series of stories just about her, but I only ended up with this short one. It's another one that was a caption first, even. This is of course long before the ultimate fate in Henrietta's closet she faces in college - she's in high school here and a little less experienced, but no less dangerous. Looking back, it's a crime that I turned Jeanette into clothing but didn't have her turned into jeans (lets just pretend she became a jean dress). So I'm fixing that with her sister.

Spoilers, she does eventually turn Caprice back (though not before permanently changing several of her friends), but her perception of her sister is forever changed. If Jeanette hadn't left for college, she would have eventually changed Caprice for good and never thought twice about it. However, Caprice ends up in possession of the Jeanette-dress after everything is said and done.
