Taken at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans.  Here we have a monk parakeet, whose tale is quite unusual.  The Monk Parakeet is native to Argentina and Brazil, but has established a foothold in the US, particularly in states like Louisiana, Florida and as far north as New York, while also establishing colonies in Spain (usually through accidental releases by owners of the birds).
