Lessons of Life, Lessons of Love

chapter two

by Tal Greywolf

----------

Friday

Consciousness returned slowly, a lazy sort of awareness as my mind

became aware of it's surroundings.  Or rather, the lack of them, as I

floated in darkness.  Tendrils of Sapphire and Emerald's thoughts twined

with mine, slowly awakening along with me.

~*Morning, lover*~  A sense of calmness filled all three of us, the

first real tests between us having been passed.  ~*Feeling better?*~

<Much better.>  The old nightmares were banished last night,

replaced with a sort of dreamy drifting state where I was alternately

Emerald or Sapphire, visions and images blurring in our minds.

~*Good.*~  They both wrapped themselves tightly around me, sending

waves of love into my mind.  I echoed the love back to them, then

giggled softly in their thoughts.

    <Mmmm... form?>

They thought a moment, then Emerald's thoughts entered mine.

*Joint?*

I considered it for a moment, then nodded.  <Who?>

    They giggled.  ~*You*~

I thought about it then a sly thought crossed me.  An image I

recalled, one I thought was rather cute.  Quickly I brought it into

focus, willing all three of us into the same shape.  There was a quick

gasp from them as our body responded to the image I held in my mind.  I

could feel muscles and bones forming rapidly, the torso forming and

stretching outwards, while arms and legs took shape, letting us stand up

on two feet.  Behind a tail formed, becoming long while again the

feeling of wings forming from our shoulders sent shivers through us.  A

head stretched into the air on a long neck, then a second followed by a

third, each looking slightly different in coloration.  I felt everything

fall into place within, and opened my eyes.

I had to duck my head, realizing suddenly that I was much larger

than before.  I dropped to the floor, my arms quickly becoming forelegs,

and looked at my body.  It nearly filled the bedroom, glittering scales

sending patterns of light in the air.  I heard a soft hiss from behind

me, then another as I curled my head around to stare at my other heads.

They blinked in surprise, then let out a serpentine giggling.  The

left one flicked out her tongue, and licked me on the nose.  "Nice,"

Emerald hissed, looking at my handiwork.  "We're one body, but three?"

I flicked my tongue back at her, then at Sapphire.  "Like a hydra,

yes."  Idly I picked up a foreleg and examined it.  "Seems I have

control of the body, but you're still a part of it.  I can feel you as a

part of me."

Sapphire's head nodded, looking as well in amazement.  "So it

seems," she rasped, curling her head around to rub against mine.  "Can

we do more this way?"

"I don't know," I hissed, nuzzling them both gently.  "Probably we

could, given time.  It was just the first thing that came to mind."

Emerald wrapped her neck around mine and tickled me under the

muzzle.  "Mmmmm, I like how your mind works, lover.  Should we stay this

way or what?"

There was some hesitation, but then Sapphire shook her head.  "No,

we need to separate for now.  Silver's right about one thing, we need to

take time and adjust to what's happened to us."

I nodded in agreement, and kissed Emerald warmly.  "Don't pout,

you'll have more chances with us both.  You know that."

"I know, but it doesn't mean I have to like it."  She sighed and

hissed in frustrations.  "But you're right, we should go back to being

individuals again and let this sink in."  She switched to direct talk.

*Now?*

    ~<Now>~

Our form shimmered and melted into a large puddle of goo, covering

the floor.  Two smaller parts flowed away, taking form into Sapphire and

Emerald again, this time in their normal human form.  I took my human

shape again as well, sighing deeply as the feeling of the body was no

longer the same.  I felt healthier, the aches that used to come with the

morning wake-up banished along with everything else.  I looked about 10

years younger, and it surprised me.

Sapphire and Emerald both looked at themselves, also noticing the

changes to their bodies.  "It feels like I've changed, but not really,"

Emerald said softly.  "I mean, I'm still me, but I don't feel like I'm

carrying anything on my body."

Sapphire nodded, stretching in an alluring fashion.  "Even these,"

and she nodded towards her breasts, "they aren't making me ache.  You

have no idea how much large tits used to hurt my back."

I laughed softly and kissed them both.  "Actually, lovers, I do.

Remember?"  They looked momentarily blank, then laughed along with me.

"Oh, gods, you do!"  Sapphire was giddy from the realization.  "We

really did learn about each other, didn't we?"

"More than we realized," Emerald said, glancing at me with a worried

expression.  "Silver, are you... able to deal with it?"

I sighed softly and sat on the edge of the bed.  "Since you've

mentioned it, I don't know."  I shivered a bit inside, and shook my

head.  "Being female frightens me, I won't deny it.  But I can't let my

fears rule me.  I've come to that much realization."

They both sat down besides me and hugged me gently.  "Silver,"

Sapphire replied gently, "we'll be here to help.  And," she giggled a

bit, "you can enjoy your own fruits."

I glanced down at her, then laughed as she formed a perfect male

cock.  "Sapphire!"  We all started to break up laughing, and fell back

onto the bed.  I held on to them warmly, and let out a gentle sound.

"So much we still have to learn."  Emerald nodded and lay her head

on my chest, and Sapphire snuggled against my side.  "And we still have

to eat  I don't know about you two, but I'm getting hungry."

---

It's strange how the most common of things keeps us centered.  We

took showers, getting clean although we really didn't need to.  Still,

the feeling of soap and water helped to make up feel better anyways,

as did putting on clothing.  We really didn't need clothing any more as

well, but for what we were planning to do, clothing would be necessary.

Despite the location, it wouldn't do too good to be wandering about

naked outside.  Someone might chance to come by anyways, and then

there would be talk and rumors.

As we cleaned up the living room, Sapphire brought up the subject,

the one I really dreaded talking about.  "So what have you found out

about what we need to do to survive that you didn't mention to us last

night?"

I sighed a bit and sat down on the couch, motioning for them to join

me.  They both placed themselves in what was becoming their usual spot,

with me in between.  "Well," I started, "there are a couple of things

I've found out on the net.  I didn't want to tell you because I was

afraid you two might... get sick from the idea.  Or worse.  We still

need to eat, but not so often as before."

"How often?" Emerald asked.  I shook my head and shrugged.

"Maybe once a week, or twice.  If you manage to get enough food the

first time.  Otherwise, you need to keep eating."  I sighed and stared

out the window.  "The problem is what you need to eat in order to stay

alive.  And that's living things.  Animals or plants."

They both looked shocked for a moment, then recovered.  "Eat living

things?  How?"  Sapphire looked totally confused, while Emerald tried to

puzzle out my statements.

"By absorbing them."  I sighed, and shook my head.  "The way one

person described it in his message, you swallow them up while in liquid

state, and they become a part of you.  Totally.  The animal becomes you

and your food."  I paused a bit, unsure if I should mention it, but

shrugged.  "The same person also said that when he ate an animal, he

could become that animal perfectly."

Both of them blanched at the idea of killing an animal, then shook

their heads.  "It's not like we don't kill animals to start," I pointed

out.  "We could get buy on normal food, that's what the message also

said.  But in order to really feel healthy you have to take in live

protein.  Live animals.  The benefit being that you can then become an

animal afterwards.  If I'm understanding it right."

Despite the almost gruesome talk, that statement caught their

attention again.  "Become an animal for real?" Emerald quickly asked.

"Morphic or non-morphic?"

"Both, likely.  I really don't know, not until we do it."

Sapphire shook her head in disgust, then sighed.  "Gods," she said

to me, "I hate that idea.  I really hate it.  If I had known..."

Gently I went down to my knees and looked at her.  "If you had

known, what?  Would you have refused to drink the water?  I don't

believe that, and neither do you."  I reached up and lifted her chin.

"Sapphire, we agreed that we wouldn't push into doing things you didn't

want to do.  This is a case of survival, though.  We need to eat, and

that's just a part of being this way."

She sighed deeply, and managed a wan smile.  "Just like hunting for

food for the family, eh?" she replied.  I nodded, and so did Emerald.

"Ok, if I can keep my mind focused on that, then maybe I can deal with

this."

I kissed her warmly, and Emerald did the same.  "Love," she said,

"we're all in this together.  We'll make it together.  That's what we

promised each other last night."  She looked up at me and smiled.

"Silver's never let us down yet, you know that."

"Doesn't mean that I have to like it," Sapphire whispered.  "But you

both are right, we're a family now.  We need to survive, and if that

means hunting, then we go out and hunt."  Sapphire looked over at me.

"But I want some things made clear between us all.  Over what we should

do and what we shouldn't."

I nodded, knowing exactly what she wanted to say.  "We don't act

like animals and kill everything in sight," I replied.  "If we can't

find something ourselves, we don't go and raid like thieves.  Animals

that are old, or injured are ok, ones that we buy for our own purposes

are ok.  But no going out and eating Farmer Jones' livestock just

because we want a midnight snack, or because we want to be horses."  I

sighed and nodded, having already made up my mind on that part.  I

didn't know then that people, desperate people would indeed raid farms

and zoos indiscriminately, or wouldn't care less about other people's

feelings.

Sapphire gave my hand a warm squeeze, and Emerald smiled.  "We can

live with that," Emerald commented, "and we can manage."

"Oh, I think we can manage well enough."  They both giggled, and I

snuggled then gently.  "Come on, since we're braced to do this, let's go

find us some breakfast.  Maybe for the week."

---

We left the house and headed out through the fields towards a small

forest I knew.  There was no signs or anything saying that it was

private property, perhaps it belonged to the county.  Either way, it

was close by, just a short walk through corn fields and wild prairie.

There was wildlife living there, the usual variety one would expect in a

forest in the Midwest, so I knew we likely could find something to keep

us fed.  It was just a question of what.

Dress was a question, considering that we would be taking our liquid

forms to actually 'eat' with.  We couldn't go out naked, folks would

seriously wonder if anyone was close enough to see.  My home was on a

seldom-travelled county road, the only things going along being the farm

equipment and the mailman, but we couldn't take it for granted.  It

wasn't a matter of paranoia, but of survival.  Until folks could accept

what was happening (and the news reports kept saying otherwise) we

needed to stay discreet.

We also needed clothing that we could quickly slip in and out of,

that wouldn't hinder.  So for them, short skirts and tank tops, for me a

pair of short pants and a t-shirt.  Sandals instead of shoes, the land

wasn't rocky or hazardous.

As we walked along the path, we kept talking over the changes in us.

Sapphire admitted that the more she thought about it, the less squeamish

she felt about eating and hunting, at least by the rules we had

established.  Both were looking forward to the hopeful idea of taking

new shapes, not that our own imaginations weren't good enough.  But even

I admitted that imagination was no substitute to having a chance to

really be something like an animal.

The dawn was turning into a rather nice day, already off in the

distance I could see one farmer tending to his crops.  Crows were flying

up in the air, and I chuckled softly to myself.

"What'cha thinking about," Sapphire asked, looking at my expression.

I nodded towards the flying crows.

"That.  We could go into business as pest exterminators, and both

make money and get fed at the same time."

She blinked at me like I was crazy, then started giggling.  Emerald

laughed and shook her head at me.  "As warped as that sounds," she

lilted, "you're probably right.  At least for a while.  Who would know

the difference?"

I chuckled softly as the sound of grasses crunched underfoot.  "As

long as no one was looking at how we were doing it, who would care?

Crows, rats, squirrels are a real pest around these parts.  As long as

we were careful about how we did things, we might be able to survive

nicely and keep a balance."

"And when others become the same as us?"  Emerald looked thoughtful,

and glanced over at me.  "Those of us who have learned how to deal with

what we've become are going to have to deal the ones who don't know how

to live with this, right?"

I shook my head.  "I could hope so.  But there's still riots in New

York, and the last news I heard yesterday said there were outbreaks

beginning in other cities along the East Coast."  I sighed a bit and

looked towards the horizon.  "No one knows what will happen, it could be

chaos for a while.  I'm just worried about ourselves for now."

Sapphire nodded and leaned against me as we walked.  "I think that's

best," she said after a while.

It didn't take long for us to come across something; a small

squirrel, sitting on a tree stump.  Emerald, always seeming to be the

first in trying things, slowly moved closer to it then turned liquid and

covered the squirrel and the stump.  The scene looked like something out

of one of those movies, like 'The Blob'.  There was a bit of a struggle

visible, then nothing.  Emerald stayed liquid for a minute or two, then

became human again with a somewhat shocked look on her face.

"Gods, that was bizarre!"  She looked at us both, and then down at

herself.  "I can't believe I really ate that squirrel.  But I can still

feel it, completely.  I could be it, totally."  Her body rippled, then

we watched in amazement as she became a giant squirrel, chattering

rapidly at us, her tail fluffed out completely.  Sapphire giggled a bit

frantically, then reached out to scratch Emerald's chest, oooohing at

the softness.

Emerald shimmered again and flowed back into human shape.  "Wow!

That was so wild!"  She grinned widely and winked.  "Come on, let's get

you two started as well."

We wandered into the woods, being as quiet as we could.  Sapphire

looked around, wanting to find something that she might find acceptable,

then suddenly dashed after a flash of red.  Her body became liquid,

clothes dropping to the ground as he flowed down into a hole and

vanished.  There was a stillness, a surprised yip, then nothing again.

It took her a few minutes before she started moving back out of the

hole, but when she did, she reformed her body into a perfectly designed

fox morph, giving a rather soft giggle.  "Gods, Silver, it wasn't as bad

as I thought it would be!  Just cover him up, and a few minutes later

you feel fine.  And you're right, Emerald, I can feel everything that

fox knew.  Every instinct, form, everything."  She went back to human

shape, putting on her clothing quickly.  "Silver, what are you going to

try for?"

I had been looking around, and grinned.  Motioning for them to fall

silent, I pointed off towards the brush.  There, partially hidden among

the trees was a stag.  "Give me about 10 minutes, let me see if I can

get him."  I gave them a sly wink, and started moving through the brush,

being cautious and staying downwind of him.

He looked like an older buck, one that had seen better days.  I felt

better at that, not really wanting to take a prime deer who could still

have some life in him.  I worked my way closer, then turned liquid and

flowed even closer.

The buck didn't sense me, which was good.  Perhaps 10 feet from him

I gathered myself together, waited for him to move just a bit closer...

closer... then flashed out in a wave of silver goo to cover the

surprised buck.

He fought me, but I was already beginning to cover him and could

feel him becoming affected by my body.  Together we fell to the ground,

and I smothered him totally, feeling his every fiber and muscle, bone

and cell becoming a part of me.  I could also feel his thoughts, the

images of past matings, rutting season, everything he experienced in his

lifetime.  Everything that the buck had been became a part of me, body

and spirit.

Smoothly I shifted into the form of the buck, when he was in his

prime.  Everything moved into place with perfect precision, and I looked

out through cervine eyes at the forest.  A movement close by made me

look up, Emerald and Sapphire walking slowly towards me.  The instincts

of the deer cried out within, saying human/wary/danger but I quickly

controlled them and stood there to wait.  They came closer to me, and

placed their hands on my flanks.  I shifted the skin underneath to

liquid, and felt their mental touch.

    ~Wow, that's amazing.  You're a deer~

I nodded, turning my head to nibble on Sapphire's hair.  <Yes, and

you could be as well.  Want to learn it with me?>

    ~*YES!*~

They turned liquid and flowed into me, sharing with me the forms

they learned while I shared the form I had taken.  We separated,

splitting the bulk of the deer between us, becoming a trio of deer,

Sapphire and Emerald lovely in their doe forms while I became their stag

male.

We spent the rest of the morning grazing and wandering through the

forest, our minds marveling at the new vision and senses.  We continued

our foraging, sometimes eating leaves, sometimes finding a sick animal

and helping put it out of it's misery.  A wild dog tried to attack

Sapphire at one point, but she swallowed it so quickly that it was

inside of her while she remained in doe form.  By the time we wandered

our way back to where are clothes were left, the morning had become

early afternoon.  And our trek had given us the ability to take 15

different animal forms now, feeling quite well sated finally.

Shifting back to human shape brought another surprise.  Our clothing

now barely fit on our bodies, and we looked at each other with a bit of

a frown.

"Is it me, or are we larger?"  Emerald kept glancing back and forth

from me to Sapphire, and Sapphire wore the same expression.

"Silver, you are larger.  At least a half-foot taller."

I blinked in surprise, looking around.  The perspective was a little

odd, but I didn't feel any different.  I looked at them, and could

clearly see that they were also taller, and perhaps a bit more stockier.

"It's the food," I finally said.  "What we've eaten.  The extra mass

has to go somewhere, so it's just tacked on, I guess.  Are you two

feeling ok?"

"I feel fine," Sapphire said, glancing down at herself.  "I don't

feel fat or anything, just... larger."  She suddenly laughed and gave me

a sly wink.  "Be a hell of a way to become a giant, wouldn't it?"

"Actually," I drawled, cutting off the laughter, "it just might be

possible."  I sat down on a stump and thought quickly.  "When I caught

the deer, I ate it completely.  But when you merged with me, you took

part of the deer with you.  Maybe we can do that as a part of the

shifting ability, so that if you wanted to be smaller, just give one of

us what you don't want."

Emerald rubbed her chin while Sapphire shook her head in amazement.

"If you're right," Sapphire said speculatively, "then this could change

having to find food regularly.  Instead of all of us having to eat, just

one of us could do it, and we'd just share from one."

Emerald kept thinking, then caught me off guard with a question.

"How long before we have to eat again?"

"I don't know.  I don't have an answer for that one.  Maybe until we

feel hungry again.  We could see how long it takes us to lose what

weight we've gained."

She nodded.  "Then let's get back to the house," Emerald said

briskly.  "If we're going to find out, let's find out the right way."

---

We jogged back homewards, chatting away rapidly about what we'd been

through.  I looked at Emerald and Sapphire, their hair whipping about in

the wind as they jogged alongside of me, our pace worthy of some Olympic

records.  Once home was in sight we sprinted, and discovered we could

run quite rapidly, so much so that the old mile records might end up

being under two minutes instead of four.  Or perhaps even one minute.

Emerald laughed and danced around the room, apparently giddy from

all the morning's discoveries.  Sapphire giggled and tickled Emerald

lightly, then both turned to tackle me as I turned from locking the

door.  We all crashed down to the floor, and I let out a solid oof!

from their weight.

"Get offa me, ya sillies."  I rolled them off of me, then brushed

the dust off of my chest.  "I thought we were going to do things right

here?"

"We were," giggled Sapphire.  "We just needed a bit of silliness to

break up the monotony."  She kissed me on the cheek, and gave me a saucy

wink.  "Now, where do you hide your notebooks?  And where's your

bathroom scale?"

In short order Emerald was writing up in a notebook our weights,

while I brought out my scale.  A friend in Germany had sent it to me,

calibrated in kilograms rather than pounds.  I put it on the floor, and

they both grinned at the sight of it.

"150 kilos max, eh?"  Sapphire chuckled a bit.  "As if we'll be

pushing that?  Or should we call Toledo and order a more heavy duty

scale?"

I grinned and ruffled her lightly.  "Let's see first off.  Emerald,"

turning my head over to look, "start my noting what we think our

original weights were.  I was at 202 last week."

Emerald wrote it down.  "Saph, love, you?"

Sapphire blushed a bit.  "187 as you well know.  And you were at 174

last week."

Emerald grinned.  "Hey, I can't help it that I had the smaller

frame."  She put the pencil down and walked over to the scale.  "Ok,

let's see what I weigh now."  She stepped on the scale, and the LCD

display blinked to show 119.  Emerald stared at the numbers with shock.

    "119 kilos?  That's, what, over 260 lbs??"

"262, actually."  I did the math in my head, and nodded.  "261.8 to

be closer, but call it 262."  Emerald sighed and got off the scale,

looking down at herself.

"I don't feel fat," she muttered.  "Ok, Saph, your turn."

Sapphire snickered, and stepped onto the scale.  The LCD showed 124,

or 273 lbs.  Sapphire blinked, and stepped off as well, puzzled.  "I

don't feel like I'm that heavy, either."

I shrugged, unsure myself.  "Let's see what I show, and then we can

figure out what's happening."  I stepped on the scale, and the LCD

blinked 150 repeatedly.  "Oh, gods," I muttered, stepping back in

amazement, "I'm heavier than the scale can read."  I looked at my body,

and shook my head.  "This is incredible.  I know I'm that heavy, but I

feel like I'm just my normal self."

"Maybe it's because of what we've become," Emerald suggested.  "You

know me, I'm was planning to study biology but switched majors into

computers.  I know there's still a lot of space in the human body

normally.  What we've become is a new kind of organism, and maybe we're

using every bit of space inside to store the mass."  She shrugged, and

looked speculative again.  "It's just a hunch, you know I'm just

guessing along with you two."

"It's a good guess," I admitted.  "I'm not an expert in biology at

all.  But what you're suggesting sounds reasonable."  I sat down on the

couch and sighed.  "So we keep a record and keep track of how fast we

lose weight?"

Sapphire nodded along with Emerald.  "We need to find out how fast

our bodies are burning it off, and how long we can last this way.  I've

noticed we haven't been breathing that often," Emerald commented,

catching both of us unaware.  "And we most definitely don't breathe when

we're in liquid form."

"Something inside of us keeping us alive, then?"  Sapphire's eyes

narrowed.  "That could mean if we're somewhere without air, we'd still

be able to survive."

"Or underwater."  My mind was already speculating on that.  "There

might be some things we can't survive, we just don't know enough yet.

One day isn't enough time to learn this, a month from now we'll likely

still be learning things about being polymorphic."

Emerald shivered and nodded.  "I'd rather do it with someone like

you, than alone."

"So would I."  Sapphire gave me a tight hug, sighing gently.  "I'd

rather have you with me holding my hand through this than being

surrounded by strangers."  Her thoughts went back to New York, and I had

to shiver as well, all those people without a clue of what's happening

to them.

---

One thing about domestic chores, they help you forget about things

sometimes.  Like the fact that you'd become a polymorphic shifter and

that your two lovers were the same as you.  Chores were necessary, too.

Otherwise, you might like living in a sty, but eventually even a pig

wants clean water and a new mud puddle.

Sapphire volunteered to do the laundry, and Emerald agreed to help

her with that much.  I showed them where the washer and dryer were,

along with the soap and such, and asked them to also strip the sheets

from the beds.  They both grinned at that, and I swatted them lightly

and made a few choice comments.  I left them with the laundry and headed

back upstairs to the kitchen.

The dishwasher hadn't worked in a while, and trying to keep it fixed

was expensive.  So instead I generally did the dishes by hand, drying

them on a rack nearby.  I drew some water, added some dishwasher

detergent and started attacking the two-week old pile, scrubbing away.

There was some groceries still sitting on the counter near the sink.

My mind was working on the dishes, but I kept seeing those cans and

boxes on the counter, and thinking that I really should put them away.

I don't even recall feeling myself changing, but a second pair of

arms formed underneath the first set, just a bit longer than normal.  I

reached over and opened up the cabinet, putting cans away while my focus

stayed on the dishes.

"Silver?"  Emerald's voice hissed at me from the doorway, and I

turned to look at her in surprise.

"Emerald, what is it?"  My hands were filled with items, and I

suppose my irritation was reflected in my face over being interrupted.

She blinked, and looked at me strangely.  "Silver, what are you

doing?"

"The dishes, what else?"  I looked down at my hands, then bit off an

exclamation as I saw what she was talking about.  "Oh gods, this is

unreal.  I didn't even realize I did this."

Emerald shouted down the hall.  "SAPPHIRE!  GET UP HERE!"  She

turned and grinned at me, giving me a reassuring wink.  "Don't worry,

I was just surprised by it.  You really didn't know you did this?"

I shrugged, the movement looking kind of unusual.  "Nope, was doing

the dishes and thinking about putting away some groceries, and then I

was... doing it."  I should have been worried over changing without

thinking about it, but instead I took it as just another thing to learn.

Sapphire into the kitchen, pulling up short at the sight of me.  She

let out a low whistle, and winked warmly.  "Mmmm, now that gives new

meaning to the word 'being a handy man.'"

I reached out with one hand and swatted her playfully with the

dishrag, and watched her dance out of range.  "Watch it, you.  Or I'll

'handy man' you back."  I glanced down at my hands, and chuckled a bit.

"But this is something I didn't quite expect, but it's good to know we

can do some interesting changes even with our forms."

They both nodded, then whispered to each other and broke into

giggles.  I gave them my 'what now' look, arching an eyebrow and they

shook their heads at me.  "Later, once we're able to relax again,"

Sapphire promised.  "You finish your jobs and we'll finish ours, and

then we'll talk."

---

The remainder of the afternoon passed in short order.  Dishes were

finished in record time (four hands turning out to be a boon in getting

things done), while the ladies managed to get all of my laundry done

without incident.  We gathered back in the living room, sitting quietly

on the couch as music played in the background.  A quiet, relaxing

afternoon, if you ignored the fact that I had four arms instead of two.

They took it in stride, another sign that we were slowly adjusting

to our rather transitory states.  We were accepting what had happened to

us, and while deep down I was still a little worried over it all, the

fact that I had two lovers with me sharing this experience I wouldn't

trade for anything.  Even being normal again.

I looked down at them, and saw that they were being very quiet, and

very thoughtful.  I smiled, using my upper hands to ruffle their hair

gently.

    "Penny for your thoughts."

Emerald giggled.  "You don't need a penny to get those," she said,

nibbling lightly on one of my fingers.  "Just have to join us, that's

all."

I laughed softly and shook my head.  "You know what I mean, though.

What are you two thinking."

Sapphire smiled up at me, her eyes shining a bit.  "I was thinking

back about earlier, when we found out we could, like, move our body mass

around."  Her voice held a bit of wistfulness.  "Well, I was thinking

about what you said about being smaller, and I kinda want to try."

"How much smaller?" I asked, suddenly worried a bit.  "We don't know

how small we could become.  For all we know, getting smaller might be

dangerous."

"We won't know unless we find out, would we?"  Sapphire suddenly

stood up from the couch and looked at me.  "This is something I want to

find out, myself.  Emerald, love, would you help me out this time?"

"Sure.  What do you want me to do?"  Emerald stood up from the couch

and went over to her.

"Just... merge with me."  Sapphire shimmered and melted into a

puddle, then Emerald melted as well.  They merged into one large mass,

then after a few minutes they separated, only this time the separation

was into one small form and a much larger mass.

Emerald returned back to normal, only looking like some Amazonian.

Almost nine feet tall, she had to remain sitting on the floor in

amazement.  "Wow, I feel so... incredible this way."  My eyes were wide

at the sight of her, but then I looked down at the smaller blob.

There was some movement from it, then Sapphire slowly retook her

form, only it wasn't as a smaller version of herself.  Rather, a long

snout formed, followed by a short body, a fluffy tail almost as long as

her, and long, red fur.  She had become the fox she caught earlier, a

perfect duplicate in appearance.  She still looked a little larger than

usual, but not out of the question.

She sneezed, and tilted her head at me.  A short yapping sound came

from her, then she suddenly chased her tail for a moment before zipping

under the couch.  I watched as she ran from underneath, heading down the

hall.

There were the sounds of items falling to the floor, books and pens,

then suddenly Sapphire raced out into the hall, leaping onto the couch

and licking my face repeatedly as Emerald laughed.  I stared at Sapphire

with a stern expression, only to be greeted with another lick on my nose

and a sneeze.

    ~Sil.....ver?~

I looked down and could see her forepaw silver.  I made the spot on

my chest liquid and could feel her thoughts much easier.  <Sapphire?>

~Hard... to... think.  Fun... can... un... un...der...stand...

but... take... slow.~

I nodded and glanced over at Emerald.  My eyes were clear to read,

and she reached over, placing her hand in mine and joining as well.

*<Sapphire, how does it feel?>*

~Like... fox.  Small.  Cuddly.  Fun.  Funny... seeing... stuff...

large.~

We exchanged a look and nodded slowly.  *<Will you be ok?>*

    ~Yes.  Be... larger.~

Emerald rippled a bit, and I could feel her starting to push a

little of her into me.  I sent that same bit into Sapphire, who sneezed

again and started to grow larger, until she was maybe three feet large.

Her thoughts became clearer as she grew, and as Emerald shrank in size.

~Hard to think when... I'm smaller.  Maybe has... to do with size...

brain size.  Smaller a person goes, the less... ability to think he has.

*<Could you understand things that small?>*  We kept feeding

Sapphire, our concerns echoing through the link between us.  She shook

her head and sneezed again.

~Sorry.  I could understand, it just took a bit of effort.  If I was

smaller, I'd likely be unable to comprehend things.  How large was I,

maybe a few pounds?~

I mentally calculated, and nodded.  <About that, say, 10 lbs of

fox.>  Her form slowly was blurring, becoming more human and less fox as

she regained her former mass.  <At least we have a limit on how small.>

Glancing at Emerald, I had to giggle a bit.  <But we don't yet know how

large we might be able to get.>

*Well, I wouldn't mind taking every bit of you two that you could

spare and becoming, oh, a 20' tall giantess?  Or larger?*  The image of

her towering over the house brought us all to giggles, and I had to wipe

my eyes.

<Oh, gods, I know folks on the net who would DIE for a sight like

that.>  I grinned at Emerald and gave her a saucy wink.  <Maybe... one

of these days we'll do it.>

---

Sapphire and Emerald were snuggling together on the couch as I moved

things around, clearing a large enough space on the floor.  "Whatcha

doing, lover?" Sapphire asked, curious.

"Well," I said slowly, "if you two don't mind, I'd like to... tape

tonight.  Between us."

Rather than looking offended, they both nodded gently.  "Mmmmm, I

wouldn't mind seeing how things look," Emerald said for a reply.

"Especially if we get a little... strange?"

I laughed softly at her choice of words.  "Strange doesn't exactly

come close, but yeah."  I still hadn't shifted back to two arms, again

the extra pair coming in useful to moving things and putting items away.

"I just want a large enough spot here for us all, so that the camera can

record things safely."  I smiled warmly, and winked at them.  "I know, I

sound like a damned voyeur, but I want to see for myself from another

aspect what we're doing."

"Want me to say something?"  Sapphire smiled and helped move the

couch over to the far wall.  "I actually agree with you and Emerald

both.  I'd like to see myself making love to you, and see what we all

are doing together."  She came over and kissed me warmly, then giggled.

"Going to keep the hands?"

I shrugged them all, holding them out in a 'why not?' position.  "I

don't see why I shouldn't, after all there's two of you, and just one of

me."

"We could fix that, you know."  Emerald giggled and came up behind

Sapphire, wrapping her arms around her waist.  "We could merge and then

you'd just have one of us to handle."

I laughed softly.  "Hah, given you two, I'd still have two of you to

handle.  Just twice as much."  I grinned and kissed them both, then

headed towards the back rooms.  "Let me get the camera."

I returned to find them both laying on the floor in rather

provocative positions.  "Mmmm, just something so that you can aim the...

camera right with," Sapphire said.  I just shook my head at them and set

up the tripod, getting the connectors secured and the recorder loaded

with a long-play tape.  The camera was one of those low-light models,

which we were going to need, as I didn't want all the lights on in the

living room.

I went around and turned off all but a few lamps, ones that made the

atmosphere more conducive to our lovemaking.  Emerald and Sapphire both

smiled warmly as I came back over, settling down on the floor between

them.  I pushed a button on the remote, hearing the click of the

recorder, and tossed the remote over onto the couch.

"Mmmm, now then, where were we?"

It didn't take long for us to get playful, or for me to find out

that four arms indeed were better than two.  They both dearly enjoyed

the fact that I could give them equal attention now, able to caress and

play with their bodies without really leaving the impression of favoring

one over the other.  I worked hard to keep them happy, my fingers

working down along their chests, teasing the nipples and caressing their

breasts, then dropping down lower between thighs to tease more intently.

They responded in kind, leaving love bites along my arms, running their

fingers along my sides, caressing my groin and giving particular

attention to my slowly-hardening shaft.

I stood to my feet, and they giggled a bit, resting on their knees

and continuing to stroke my legs, stomach and groin.  My hands reached

down, cradling their heads and lightly scratching the back of their

necks, then dropping my lower pair of hands to tickle their chests and

tease their nipples.  They'd giggle and coo in delight, then move closer

to me, flicking their tongues out along my thighs and up towards my

shaft.

The scene was becoming surreal, my standing there in the middle of

the room with all four hands caressing and touching them both.  They

moaned and pressed against my palms, arching back and letting me tug and

rub their breasts repeatedly.  Heads bending downwards, they alternated

their attentions on my shaft, tongues and lips working me into full

hardness.  Emerald took the entire length into her mouth, suckling

gently while Sapphire watched with a tinge of wistfulness.  She looked

up at me, and uttered words that altered us and our thinking once again.

"Could you make one for me?"  She looked up at me, clearly desiring

to do the same that Emerald was, and I couldn't deny that I wanted her

to as well.  With almost simple ease I formed a second cock, angled away

from Emerald and towards Sapphire.  She eagerly took it in her hands,

stroking it repeatedly before also swallowing down to the hilt and

suckling warmly.

I let out a soft moan, my hands resting on both of their heads as

they bobbed along the length of my twin shafts now, moaning low in

delight and pleasure.  Their techniques were quite different, Emerald

stronger and more demanding on me, while Sapphire worked slowly, gently,

savoring every inch.  It didn't matter, they both were doing one hell of

a job on my mind and my body, making me shiver in pleasure.

How long it lasted, I couldn't say.  But Emerald was first to

receive her reward, swallowing deeply as I sprayed the insides of her

mouth.  Sapphire moaned and picked up her pace, and moments later I felt

my second orgasm striking, twitching within her mouth as I poured into

her.

I found myself on my back, Emerald about to straddle my face and

Sapphire stroking both shafts with her hands.  I watched in rapt

fascination as a second slit opened on Emerald, just above the first and

sensed that Sapphire had done the same with her.  My shafts moved into a

line, and moments later Sapphire had straddled both and was rocking back

and forth on them hard.

My mouth and tongue worked over Emerald's lower sex, while my hands

played and teased the upper one, fingers sliding in deeply as my tongue

flicked repeatedly across her clit.  Sapphire continued to thrust hard

on top of me, her moans echoing with Emerald's in accompaniment.  We

were all so close, our orgasms just about to break... and a split second

before I exploded, Sapphire clenching tightly and Emerald about to

tremble violently, we all melted into a giant puddle of goo and joined

together.

Remember I mentioned what happened in Times Square?  All those

people merged together into a giant, orgasmic mass?  That's what

happened to Saph, Emerald and myself.  Our bodies melted at the point or

climax, and joined together into a single mass that writhed, squirmed

and flowed about wildly.  Our minds were locked in the throes of our

mutual climaxes, the incredible pleasures being felt over and over

again.

It felt like... having a hundred cocks inside of you at once.

Thousands of mouths kissing and sucking every inch of your body.

Muscles spasming hard repeatedly as they worked to milk those shafts.  A

never ending stream exploding from inside of you, thrusting away with

total abandon and unwilling to stop.  The sounds of three minds moaning

in total harmony, unable to focus on anything but the massive amounts of

pleasure pouring through us and into us.  Pure, primal, complete sex.

Our body wriggled, heaved, twisted about in response to our

pleasures.  Since there were only three minds instead of the multitude,

the body could react to our thoughts, forming and melting and forming

again in what could have been a never-ending cycle.  Colors rippled

across the surface in a kaleidoscope fashion, swirling about in vortexes

and waves.  Pseudopods would form into the air, taking shape as breasts,

hands, legs... more bizarre shapes as it flowed with our thoughts,

adding even more to our already heightened state.

We couldn't stop.  We didn't want to stop.  We wanted each other so

much, so incredibly deep a desire that it sent tremors through us all.

We heard a low roar through our thoughts, visions filled with sparks of

light dimming and brightening as our orgasms continued, the incredible

taste and scent and touch of the three of us mingled together.

How long did it last?  It felt like forever.  So long that the tape

ran out of the recorder, over seven hours.  So much that we finally

collapsed out of sheer exhaustion, still locked in the never-ending

orgasmic cycle.  Our minds clouded, thought became more difficult as the

exhaustion spread completely through us, and we fell unconscious, the

only escape from our physical overload.
