Trust Machines - Welcome to the Carnival, pt 6
"I was lost and I'm still lost
But I feel so much better
'Cause now I know
It's not so far to where I go
The hardest part its inside me
I need to just be, just be'
-- "Just Be", by DJ Tiesto and Kirsty Harkshaw
Keri drove the Taurus to the trio's destination, a nightclub and dance place
known as Diamonds. It was one of the recent additions to the night scene in Las
Vegas, located close to Boulder Station and Sam's Town. Like many of the recent
venues outside of the Strip, it catered more to the locals scene, providing a
less expensive alternative to places like XS and Tao.
Keri liked Diamonds for other reasons. It was close to where she and Tasha
lived, students from UNLV would show up, and she knew a few of the employees
from her previous job at the Santa Fe Station casino. Plus it tended to be a
little more Venn friendly than other places, at least having not implemented a
'human appearance only' rule. Not that it would matter much, with Keri and
Tasha looking like identical twins and Kyle their slightly younger 'sister'.
In the back, Tasha watched Kyle carefully. He... or rather, she was adjusting
well enough to the new form, looking at her hands, her arms, even her face in
the mirror from time to time. Tasha sat next to her, giving her advice
concerning her new appearance.
"Remember, your center of balance has shifted quite a bit. That's one reason
why you're wearing low heeled shoes, the last thing you're going to want is to
twist an ankle or worse walking on high heels.
"Your body is going to react differently now," Tasha added. "You might still
think like a male, but your body's female, and those feelings are going to make
themselves quite noticeable at times." She gave a warm wink. "Just remember
that you can lean on us for anything that feels strange or uncomfortable."
Kylea nodded slowly. "So... when I look at a guy, I might feel... attracted?"
Her voice was soft and rather musical, something that both gals rather found
fitting for her. She kept reaching up and brushing away a few strands of hair
from her vision, something she seemed to do unconsciously.
Tasha nodded. "That's normal. You're female, and the natural sensation is to
want a male. I've been male a few times, I know what it feels like from the
other side of the coin. It'll be the same for you, it'll feel like you're
someone else, and in a sense you are."
Kylea took a breath, not noticing how it made her new chest stand out. "So your
advice is to... just let it happen? Not think about it at all?"
"That's usually the best way." Keri smiled a bit, then added a little more.
"Tasha is right in that respect. The less you think about you being female, the
easier it'll be for your mind to adjust to it."
Kylea thought it over. "I guess you're right, since I'm going to be female for,
what, eight hours?"
Keri nodded. "Just eight hours, yes. Make it easier for you to get used to the
changes, much like you got used to being altered as a male. This is just the
next step, you might say."
"I suppose," Kylea slowly said.
Keri glanced at Tasha as they stopped for a red light. "How about we agree to
use a hand signal in case one of us needs help," she suggested. "Like holding
up our hand and showing three fingers."
Kylea thought about it. "I think it'd be best," she finally said. "It'd
wouldn't be obvious, but then one of you could come over and help me out."
---
Getting into Diamonds didn't take long. Keri was apparently well known by the
bouncer, and after vouching for Tasha and Kylea, they went through the VIP
entrance while other patrons waited in line. Once inside, Kylea felt herself
relaxing. The club was different from any of the ones she used to work in, but
was a familiar environment.
"Come on, let's go find a table." That came from Keri, who wove her way through
the crowd with ease. Soon Kylea found herself seated at a very posh table,
comfortable seats with a good view of the stage. A waitress came over and took
their orders, departing to leave the ladies by themselves for the moment.
"Not exactly what I expected," Kylea finally said, sipping her margarita. The
longer she was there, the less anxious and reserved she became. "Nice venue,
good music." She was starting to react to that music, recognizing most of the
pieces the DJ on stage was playing.
Tasha and Keri both grinned and giggled. "Remember, the idea is for us to
unwind a while. You," Keri indicated Kylea, "have been working far too hard the
last few days. I know you want the gig at Light to go off without a problem,
but even you need to relax."
"And how better to relax than with a pair of party girls? Tasha grinned.
"Speaking of which," she looked up and saw a couple of guys she recognized.
"Hi, Mik! Jake!"
The two males blinked, noticing the handbag that Tasha ws carrying. They
wandered over to the gals, grinning. "Tasha? What are you doing out here?"
They both gave her a warm hug, then sat down at the table with them. "I
wouldn't have expected you or Keri out here tonight," Mik said.
"Well, we're out showing Kylea the scene," Tasha said. "Kylea, this is Mik,
he's in some of the same classes I'm in at the university. Jake's his brother,
thinks he's going to be the next big thing in football."
"Hah!" Both smiled at Kylea. "Nice to meet you," Jake said. "You from around
here?" Mik added, amused.
"Not really, from Iowa." Kylea felt a blush at their attention, but her answer
made both of them laugh!
"Oh ho! A farm girl who's come to the bright lights and the big city." Both of
them teased Kylea, who blushed and ducked her head from the attention.
"Mik, shut up." That came from Keri, her tone light but with a slight edge to
it."
"All right, Keri likes to remind me that I'm not a gentleman." Mik grinned,
then the music picked up the beat. "So who wants to go dancing?"
---
Kylea let herself be guided to the dance floor, then as the beat began, she
started dancing. First she spent time dancing with Mik, then later with Jake.
Both were good dancers, and she managed to match their moves with ones of her
own.
Whether it was the margarita, the music or some combination of both, she started
cutting loose, her dance moves becoming far more energetic as she got into the
mood of the club. By the first hour, she had danced with at least a half dozen
of the males there, and was getting interest from a few others.
She also noted in the back of her thoughts that they were interested in her in
more ways than one. Her gaze would sometimes drop downwards, spying the bulges
that were forming and the sight warmed her to no end. The music and the alcohol
clearly were doing their work on her as she thought less and less about being
Kyle and instead was Kylea.
She avoided getting too direct with her behavior, teasing but never making it a
serious sort of desire. Instead, her desires were more for her roommates, her
lovers, as they would occasionally dance as a trio on the floor, making many of
the males rather envious, some discreetly, while others looked on with outright
lust.
In fact, Kylea totally lost track of time between the dancing, the music and the
close company she was enjoying. So much so that she was shocked when Keri
touched her shoulder.
"We need to get going," she said. Kylea sighed and nodded, placing a kiss on
the lips of her last dance partner before going with Keri.
Once out of the club and in the car, Keri and Tasha both looked at Kylea. She
rested against the back seat door, giggling softly to herself. "Feeling
better?" Keri asked her, and she nodded.
"Oh, I feel fine, couldn't be better." Kylea started giggling again, then
hiccupped. "Mmm, maybe a little too fine," she added.
"Well, we're going to head home, but we're going to make a stop along the way."
Kylea waved her hand in acknowledgment, and Keri started heading down Boulder
Highway. They stopped for a few minutes, Kylea in a semi-aware state as Tasha
and Keri disappeared into the Boulder Station Casino, then Keri came back out by
herself.
"Mmmm... where's Tasha?" Kylea asked somewhat dreamily. Keri giggled, and
handed Kylea a large, gel-like object. "Oh, she wants to be in me, doesn't
she?" she said softly, caressing the soft vibrator.
Keri giggled. "Oh, she wanted to be in you so badly," she replied, and Kylea
nodded.
"Mmmm... so let's get home and give her what she wants." She brought the length
up to her lips, and kissed the tip. "And what I want now," she amended, a
giggle coming from her.
---
Kyle woke up with a pounding headache. The sunlight had somehow managed to
evade his eyelids, going straight to the back of his head and rooted around for
a while, scattered fragments reflecting in his mind. Last night...
Oh gods.
Last night.
The events of last night suddenly fell into place, a video recording that went
from fuzziness to sudden sharpness. He had been changed by Keri and Tasha to be
female, they went out to a nightclub, and then... then...
Oh gods, he thought to himself. I really did...
An audible groan came from him, and as if it was a beacon signal, Keri walked
into the room. She had a small bowl of fruit with her, and placed it on the
nightstand next to the bed.
"How are you feeling this morning, hun?" she asked. Kyle reached for an apple
slice, and ate it before replying.
"Did I.. did we...??" He didn't have to say what, as Keri merely smiled and
nodded.
"We did, and you were absolutely wonderful." She popped a grape into her mouth
and ate it, then winked at Kyle. "Before you say anything more, I want you to
know that you're as gentle a lover as a female as you are when you're male."
Kyle didn't have an immediate reply to that, still trying to integrate last
night's experiences. "Where's Tasha?" he did finally ask.
"Resting," Keri instantly replied. "You did a pretty good job of wearing her
out, she was barely able to vibrate once you were done." She giggled at his
expression, then leaned in to kiss him soundly.
"Now, you just relax and when you feel up for it, then we'll talk about it and
answer any questions."
