The Ultimate Potion - Vacation Time

Friday, March 18

Caroline sat outside the coffee shop, waiting for her friend to arrive.  Already
she was missing both Gena and Lexi, Gena having moved across the country with
Jim, while Lexi had to go take care of her sick mother.  Caroline didn't like
it, not when it meant her fun was severely curtailed.

Privately, she had hoped she would find another person who she could share her
fantasies with, but the odds of that were extremely slim.  Most of the fellow
gals she knew were rather... lacking in imagination, and the guys, well, all
they cared about was drinking, partying and sex, not necessarily in that order.

She was so deep in thought that it was a minute before she realized that someone
had sat down at the table with her.  Ryan looked back at her, a soft smile on
his lips as he tilted his head slightly.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything," he said.

Ryan was someone that Caroline met first online in a role-playing area.  The
theme was transformations and shapeshifting, something that she naturally would
be attracted to.  They hit it off almost at once, chatting and role-playing
changes to their forms.  It had gotten quite erotic at times, which she
certainly didn't mind.

Later on, they started trading messages and emails, Ryan sharing links to
stories and images that Caroline found interesting and fun.  It culmunated with
them going out to dinner less than a month ago, a nice looking guy with a well-
trimmed beard and a wicked sense of humor.  That first date led to two more,
Caroline finding herself becoming attracted to him both from a physical and a
mental aspect.

Caroline laughed and shook her head.  "No, I was just thinking."  She returned
his smile.  "It's just, I'm glad that you replied to my message and came over."

"As I've told you before, you're always welcome to get ahold of me."  Ryan
chuckled gently.  "At least I'm the sort of person who knew you were having fun
with your friends and wasn't going to try and interrupt that."

"That's the core of my problem."  Caroline sighed.  "Gena's married now, and
Lexi's dealing with her family obligations.  I get calls and text messages from
them, but it's not the same as having them here with me.  And to be truthful, I
miss them." She sighed again.  "Which leaves me to my own devices, and that
means being bored."

"And you're hoping I might be able to help aleviate a bit of the boredom?"  Ryan
shook his head.  "Caroline, dear, you should know by now that I'm more than
happy to do that.  Relieve the boredom, that is."

"I know, I just hadn't thought about it for a while."  She added in a softer
voice, "Or of you.

Ryan reached over and placed his hand over hers.  "It's ok.  Really.  You had
your friends, and it was clear that you were having fun.  Hell, anyone with two
eyes and a working brain would have noticed that fact."  He left unspoken the
kind of fun that Caroline had been having.  He didn't know about the potions, at
least not yet.

"But I still consider you a good friend," she pointed out.  "I mean, you're the
only male I've gone out with in a long time."

"Thereby salvaging your honor and your standing amongst the male species," Ryan
added with a bit of humor.  "I know a lot of the folks I work with would die to
spend time with you, and yet here I am."

Ryan paused, then added, "Besides, you're intelligent, imaginative, and playful.
Which matters more to me than... well..."

He motioned towards some of the other females sitting outside the coffee house,
gals with bodies that were dressed to show off their bodies.  "It's not that I
don't  appreciate their appearances, but in most cases the minds don't match the
bodies."

Caroline giggled.  "Mmmm, so what are you plans for the break?"

Ryan shrugged.  "Don't really have any.  I mean, I thought about taking the trip
down to Panama Beach, but do I really want to spend it in a city filled with
drunk folks who are only thinking about partying, screwing and sleeping?"

That evoked a laugh out of Caroline.  "You?  Hardly."  She thought a moment. "So
would you like to do anything?"

"Now if that isn't a leading question," Ryan teased.  "What, something like a
date?  I thought I was the one who had to ask for a date."  He added a wink.
"I'll admit most of my dating skills suck rocks through thin straws."

Caroline grinned.  "Well, let's just say that I might have something in mind we
could enjoy.  That's if you're interested in spending time with me..."

Ryan chuckled at that.  "Since we seem to be doing a little soul baring here,
I'll tell you truthfully, I'd love to spend more time with you.  Even if it was
just chatting, discussing things and enjoying your company."

"And if things got... interesting?  Intimate?"

Ryan laughed softly.  "Dear, if that happens, it happens.  I've never been the
sort of male who thinks solely below the shoulders, I like to know that any
attraction in that direction is mutual and welcomed."

That seemed to make Caroline relax visibly, before she suddenly leaned over and
planted a kiss on Ryan's lips.  "Then be at my place at 7pm, ok?"

"It's a date.  Should I bring flowers?  Or maybe chocolate?"

That got him a mock swatting.  "Just yourself, and dress casual, ok?"

Mr. Wintergreen looked up as the door to the shop opened, and smiled. "Caroline!
Good to see you here again."

Caroline returned the smile.  "You got my call earlier?"

"I did."  He seemed ready for her, handing her a plastic bag with a couple of
bottles inside.  "Although I'll admit I was rather curious about your request.
It's the first time I've ever received that sort of request, wishing the potion
to have a permanent effect.  You're certain that's what you wanted?"

Caroline nodded.  "I really would love the effects to be permanent, yes."

Mr. Wintergreen chuckled.  "Given your love of transformations, I shouldn't be
so surprised.  But two bottles?  Are you planning to share the experience with
someone special?"

Caroline's face broke into a wide smile.  "Oh, he's very special.  From what
I've discovered about him, I think he'll love the ability to change into
whatever he wants as much as I do."

Mr. Wintergreen merely smiled at that.

Friday night, 7pm

Caroline was finishing tidying up the living room when she heard a knock on the
door.  Opening it, she saw Ryan standing there in his usual sort of appearance,
namely a simple polo shirt and dress slacks.  She had gone with a tank top and
shorts, and pulled him into the place, giving him a kiss as she closed the door.

"Hi.  I'm so glad you came."

Ryan smiled warmly, a very reassuring smile.  "I'm glad I did.  I didn't exactly
relish another night sitting at the computer."

The image made Caroline giggle.  "Well, we certainly don't want that."  They
walked into the living room, Ryan making himself comfortable in a lounge chair
while Caroline sat across from him.  "What would you be doing on the computer
anyway?"

Ryan shrugged.  "Playing online in one of the MUCKs I inhabit, surfing for
interesting images, that sort of thing.  A very boring sort of life, I'll
admit."

"Oh, you wouldn't be that bored, you'd find yourself someone to cuddle and
snuggle and turn into a kinky vixen."

Ryan didn't deny it.  "Guilty on all counts, and I throw myself at the mercy of
the court."  They both laughed, then Caroline looked at him with an expression
he couldn't quite place.

"Can I ask you a very personal question?"

Ryan thought a moment.  "As long as it doesn't involve my politics, religion or
sex life, sure."

Instead of reacting, Caroline's expression remained somewhat serious.
"Actually," she said slowly, "it's about shapeshifting.  Do you believe that
shapeshifting is real?"

"Hrmmm."  Ryan thought.  "I think I told you about the time I had gotten lost in
the woods, and that I stumbled across a wolf.  And that the next thing I knew I
was a wolf myself, fur, tail and everything.  And that I was a wolf for a week
before a search party found me, and I was suddenly back to being human."  He
held that thoughtful expression.  "It might have been a fever dream, but I
always felt deep down that I had actually been a wolf.  Now, do I believe it's
real?  That'd might take proof, I'd like to think that it is."

"And if I could show you proof it's real?"

Ryan gave a lopsided grin.  "When you've eliminated the obvious, whatever
remains must be the truth.  Show me."

"Wait a moment."  Caroline got up from the couch, and went over to a cabinet.
She pulled out the two bottles, placing one on the table before Ryan while
holding the other.

"Just watch," she said, as she proceeded to drink down the entire contents.
"This'll take a few seconds."  She blinked, then moaned softly.

As Ryan watched, Caroline started to turn transparent, taking on a light pink
hue.  Her body started to jiggle like jello, and she let out a giggle from the
feeling.  Ryan's eyes widened a bit at the sight as Caroline gave him a wink and
melted into a puddle of goo before him.

"Good lords," he said softly, a mix of emotions visible on his face.  There was
surprise, shock, curiosity, amazement and fascination that were expressed,
finally settling on acceptance.  "Caroline, you... it's real?"

She giggled, her form taking shape and jiggling again.  "It's real.  Go ahead,
touch me if you need to believe it."

Ryan touched her shoulder, feeling the gel-like form.  It felt just like jello
would, and with a bit more intent, pushed the finger just slightly into her
form.  It felt warm, slick, and definitely not flesh and blood.

Ryan sat back in his chair, still looking at Caroline's altered body.  "I will
be damned," he finally said.  "The potion did this?"

She giggled again.  "Yes.  Well, it gave me the ability to change, but I have
total control over what I want to be."

With that, she proceeded to tell Ryan of the discoveries of the various potions,
of how this ultimate potion came about, and all the transformations that
Caroline experienced.  Ryan listened with rapt attention, asking a question or
two to gain a better understanding.

She also had him watch the videos she had taken of her past transformations,
videos that had Ryan watching in rapt fascination.  Changes that went from
ordinary shapes into the fantasic and impossible, all of which she displayed via
the videos.

Caroline finished her story by explaining about the potion she just took.
"While most of the potions were rather limited to a specific set of changes,
this one... well, call it an ultimate potion.  There's literally nothing I can't
transform into having drank it.  It's... wonderful."

"I can believe it," Ryan said.  "What I don't understand is why show me..."  His
voice trailed off and let out a sigh.

"Ryan, you are an absolute idiot sometimes," he said to himself.  Caroline
looked at him puzzled, and he looked back with a reassuring smile.

"There are days, dear, where I have all the evidence in front of me and forget
to connect the dots.  You're showing me this because you think that I can handle
it."  He chuckled softly.  "Well, you're right, I can handle this.  Just took me
a second for my mind to click in the right place."

She laughed, making her body wobble in interesting ways.  "You're handling it
fine, believe me.  Even Lexi had problems at the beginning.  But that's not the
only reason why I've showed you all this."

"Oh?"  Then a dawning realization struck Ryan.  "Oh... you want to SHARE this
with me.  To let me be like you and be a shapeshifter for real."  Once again, he
added a personal comment.  "I can be so dense sometimes."

Caroline giggled, then stretched her torso enough to bring her face close enough
to kiss him.  "Oh, you're not that dense.  At least, not yet."

"Hey," Ryan exclaimed.  "I'm entitled to poke fun at myself here.  So what do I
do, just drink down what's in the bottle?  No incantations, no sacrifices, no
signing my soul for eternity or until Microsoft dies, whichever comes first?"

"Just drink it, and let it take effect," Caroline said between giggles.

Reaching for the bottle, Ryan opened it up and peered.  "No djinna in there, ah
well.  Over the teeth and through the gums, look out body, here it comes."

Caroline let out a full laugh as Ryan drank down the entire potion in three
gulps.  He put the bottle back on the table, then looked at her.  "Ok, so what's
next?  Should I extect soooooooh!!"

A tingling suddenly filled his body, from his toes to the top of his head.  He
felt so alive now, a desire beginning to form in the back of his mind.  He
thought about Caroline's form, being gel...

...and seconds later he felt his body wobbling and jiggling, having transformed
into a gel-guy.  "Whoa... wow.  This feels so... mmmph!"

He would have said more, but Caroline had taken advantage and lept at him.  The
impact made them both lose control, and they fell to the floor as a gooey mass,
mingling and flowing about.

Instead of being afraid, shocked, horrified or repulsed, Ryan's mental mood was
one of astonishment and acceptance.  Astonishment at the fact that he was
nothing more than a mass of goo on the floor, acceptance of that fact and the
fact that the potion really did let him transform, turning into something that
shouldn't be possible.

He also was aware of Caroline, who was touching him, caressing him, flowing
over, under and through him with her own form.  Instinctively he responded in
kind, a sensual, erotic state that they were in.  No wonder Caroline loved this,
he thought to himself.  He would too.

A presence touched his mind, then slowly pushed its way into his own thoughts.

>>Caroline?<< he mentally spoke, and was met with a giggle.

**Right here,** she replied.  **I thought since our bodies were merged into one,
we'd let our minds merge into one as well.**

There was a moment's hesitation from Ryan, then the mental version of a hug and
kiss.  >>Might as well get to know you in every respect,<< he sent back.  With
that, he opened his thoughts to her, and she slid into them, until they simply
*WERE* for the time being.

And the puddle on the floor became still, Ryan and Caroline's minds and bodies
becoming one for the rest of the evening.
