When Ryota the miniature man with the ears and tail of a wolf woke up, he hadn’t expected to find an unusual warm weight on his stomach. Throwing off his bedsheet, shock and curiosity washed over him as he found that not only was his pajama shirt gone, but also that there was a white orb the size of a soccer ball sitting on top of his tummy! Sitting up, Ryota noticed how the orb was a shiny, smooth white but with a red heart pattern on it. Grabbing the egg, the long haired lad also noted that it had a very smooth and familiar texture, like an eggshell but it felt much thicker; he could probably let the egg, if that was what it was, fall to the floor and it wouldn’t break. However, when he went to place the strange egg beside him, he had his second shock of the morning: the egg wouldn’t come off!
Eyes growing wide, Ryota stood up fast enough to make himself dizzy and began to frantically pull and tug at the egg, only to find that it refused to come apart from his belly. And it wasn’t glued either; he could freely rotate the sphere any way he wanted, but all that did was rub his tummy. It was almost as if the egg was magnetized to his navel and Ryota lacked the strength to pry it off or to break it. The dizziness combined with Ryota’s balance being thrown off caused the wolf to stumble and, thanks to his room being incredibly messy, trip and fall into the egg. Luckily for the egg, it survived without cracking and made Ryota feel like he was punched in the gut.
“Oh no, this could be bad. Good thing I don’t have work today.”
It took a few tries for Ryota to stand up; the egg was heavy and threw him way off balance, so the first few attempts simply resulted in the egg rolling across the floor with him on top of it. Eventually however, he managed to stand and, hefting the heavy egg in both hands, waddled out of his room. His morning did not go well. Imagine your normal morning routine, all the different things you have to do to get yourself ready for the day, and now imagine doing it with a giant plaster water balloon stuck to your stomach. The egg was constantly getting in the way, meaning things like eating and brushing his teeth had to be done at an awkward side angle. He somehow managed to pull a shirt over the egg, but the end result was that he looked incredibly pregnant. Considering he had long red and black hair down to his tail, Ryota was concerned with people mistaking him for a woman. Still, he thought that perhaps a doctor could help with his egg situation, so he was willing to risk it.
As he began walking down the street, the wolf boy blushed, not knowing what everyone was thinking about him, though it was probably something nasty. Just then, the egg doubled in circumference, becoming the exact same height as its host at four foot ten! Feeling hopeful at the change, Ryota tried to push the egg away but was disappointed to find it still attached to his belly. With no other option, Ryota rolled the egg in front of him, allowing him to keep moving forward, although he could not see where he was going. The egg rolling went fine for a while until something stopped him with a metallic crunch. Embarrassed, he tried to back up, only to have the egg pull on his tum instead. Whatever he hit, his egg was wedged in there. He strained and pulled with all his might as he gathered a crowd of staring people. After they had their fun, the people started to pry the egg out of what was apparently an iron gate (paranoid Ryota didn’t want them coming near but had no choice) and soon he was blindly rolling away to the delight of his fans.
For a few more blocks, he rolled that red and white egg, until suddenly, it doubled in circumference again, becoming over nine feet tall! Try as he might, the wolf man didn’t have the strength or leverage to roll such a huge egg and the people outside weren’t helping either, so he was stuck standing there, pinned by the giant heart pattern egg adhered to his belly, unable to see what was around him due to the egg blocking his field of vision. Everywhere he looked was egg and Ryota didn’t know how long he stood there, but he knew the egg grew a few more times, becoming as big as a truck.
After what felt like forever, cracks began to form in the egg. Everyone stared as the giant ball became more and more fragmented until the shell simply dissolved into a fine powder. Where the egg was, a fully grown tan woman with long dark hair and exaggerated features stood, grinning.
“Thank you for taking care of my egg while I used it to come into this world.” She said, her voice somehow both arousing and motherly (it was an odd combo).
“Wait a minute,” Ryota said, “Who are you and what’s been going on?”
“I am a fertility spirit” she said with a coo, “I come from the world of the faeries, but wanted to enter your world. To do so, I had to be hatched from an egg incubated by a mortal. You have done so and I thank you. In fact, you deserve to be rewarded.”
“Great! I take cash, check or gold.”
“Oh, I can’t do that, but I can do this.”
The fertility spirit clapped her hands and Ryota’s body changed. Although still genetically male and with his male part, his body changed, becoming even shorter and chubbier, his chest and ass growing proportionately to his lost height until he was left standing at three foot nothing, resembling a curvy short stack girl. Pleased with her work, the spirit gave a silvery laugh and vanished, never realizing her “gift” was not something men wanted, much like she didn’t realize it when she bestowed a similar gift to that other man, Haruka Manodora….
