Stacey, the second in command at Omicron Omega Omicron, dried her face and stared in the bathroom mirror.
“You got this, girl. You got this. Nothing to worry about. You’ll get those girls free. Or someone else will. Maybe.”
Stacey was chosen for her position due to her near encyclopedic knowledge of rules, codes and by-laws (especially useful for her law degree) especially in regards to the two rival houses on campus. Whenever the leader needed anything to be explained to herself or others, Stacey was always there to explain whatever ritual or rule of engagement was called for. Unfortunately, this did not translate into calm under fire or crisis management (which wasn’t as useful for her law degree).
“Come on, Stacey! If you don’t do this who will?”
It was a decent question, too. Truthfully, there weren’t many options left. The leader? She was busy taking care of the girls. Nicole and Cassidy? They were the girls in question and weren’t a part of the game anyway. Dottie and Hiti? They didn’t do crap! Fan and Fran? Too easily distracted! Felicity? She’s new so she’s a wild card. Stacey? She’s a judgmental idiot!
Stacey snapped out of her internal rant at that last comment. Now was not the time for that; now was the time for helping those girls. Stepping out of the bathroom and into the college’s recreational building, she began to think of the problem like a logic puzzle. It was a game after all. Where would those mutts hide the egg? Naturally, they would want the eggs to be found as that’s how they get the Omicron girls to do their stupid humiliation tasks. That means that, despite being “hidden”, the eggs would probably be found in high foot-traffic areas, where someone was more likely to stumble across it, if only by accident. But that also means there was a chance someone else found the egg…which means….

“Welcome to the lost and found.” The bored secretary said, “What do you want.”
“I’m looking for my golden Easter egg. Did anyone drop one off here?”
The secretary glanced below his desk, then looked up at her with a look combining confusion and amusement.
“Was it in a gallon bag? With a… another item?” he asked, holding back a smirk. Stacey gulped.
“Um…sure?”
“Here ya go. Have fun, I guess…”
Concerned, Stacey took the transparent plastic bag from the man and when she saw what was inside, along with the egg, the bottom dropped out of her stomach.

Back at the OnO headquarters, the leader was just wrapping up preparing snacks for Cassidy and Nicole, both of whom were handling their predicament in very different ways despite their close proximity. Cassidy was trying to ignore the whole thing, and was killing time by watching some Disney DVDs the sorority had lying around. Nicole, on the other hand, was taking a more proactive approach to their situation. She watched the leader’s phone, announcing any texts the others sent so that the leader could add it to her ongoing chart of information. That way, they could keep track of what locations were searched, who already found an egg, et cetera. The leader didn’t want to judge how each handled their problem; she was just happy they let her change into summer clothes! She was boiling and the fact that she hadn’t had a haircut in ages didn’t help; her hair was twice the size of her head! After serving the girls, the leader checked the charts next to the television (for convenience to both girls). There was a crude map of campus with areas checked off, and there was the aforementioned table of egg data.

Felicity had something stuck inside her mouth. She found her egg by the stadium.
Dottie had to dress like a boy. Her egg was found in the English Hall but it was also destroyed.
Hiti couldn’t wear anything on her feet. Her egg was found (by Dottie) in the food court.
Fan and Fran hadn’t checked in yet. Strange, either they forgot to text or they were taking a while. The leader honestly expected Hiti to be last.
Oh yeah, and Stacey hadn’t-
“Stacey texted.” Nicole said, “She ‘doesn’t want to talk about it’ but says she found her egg in the lost and found. She doesn’t know where it originally was. Also, your phone’s about to die.”
The leader cursed; not knowing where one of the eggs was originally found would throw off her map, even though it was a long shot already. Absentmindedly, she turned her attention to the movie Cassidy was watching. An evil wizard was ecstatic because the magic lamp he was looking for was hidden on the hero’s person. Right under the wizard’s nose the whole time.
Wait a minute.

“Well, that was fast.” Bob of Alpha Beta Omega said as he again stood in the door, “Did you guys lose already?”
“I know where the real key egg is.” The leader said confidently. “That means we win!”
“Oh, really?” Bob said, taking off his sunglasses to show his genuine interest, “And where is it?”
“In your fraternity house!”
“Heh. I’m not telling.” Bob said with a smirk. “The boss said you might try something like that. I won’t confirm or deny if you’re right, so it looks like you’ll have to keep playing until you can present us with the key itself. Besides, even if it was in the house, you don’t know where in the house it is.”
In a huff, the leader went back to her own house. She knew she was right and had to warn the others to stop searching for eggs; this just changed from a scavenger hunt to a heist. Maybe if she was lucky, she could spare Fan and Fran the humiliation of-
She had locked herself out. After waiting a few minutes for Nicole and Cassidy to get up and unlock the door, she demanded her phone back to tell the girls not to look for any more eggs.
“Ooo, too late.” Nicole said. “While you were gone, they said they already found their eggs and a spare. They’re on their way here now to give it to you.”
“But that means we’ll lose! I gotta tell them not to show up so I can get the real egg out of the frat house!”
Grabbing the phone, she only had time to see that Nicole texted them, saying they forgot to say what their eggs were before the screen went black.

On her way back to the sorority house, Stacey was tomato red with embarrassment. She was silently hoping that no one would notice her as she waddled down the sidewalk and she didn’t dare look up to see if they did. She wished she could hide the giant pink diaper under her pants. Sure it might not have stopped the crinkling or the jingling of the chain on it (who the hell makes locking adult diapers like these) but she could at least hide the visual! But she couldn’t; the diaper was so astronomically thick that she couldn’t actually put on her black jeans or panties over the massive thing. Heck, she couldn’t even get them to touch her diaper because of how far it made her legs spread! And to make matters worse, that horrible sinking feeling in her stomach may not have just been dread. It was moving lower. For her own sake alone, Stacey hoped they didn’t lose this game….
