Alpha Beta Omega. That fraternity always sent shivers down Felicity’s spine, no matter how much her sorority sisters mocked and teased them. Ever since the frat and sorority were formed in the 1800s, they had been in fierce competition with each other, sometimes to secure funding, sometimes in prank wars. This time, they stole the master key for several bondage devices holding OO’s two newest members. Putting on a brave face, Felicity crossed the street leading to AB’s frat house. She didn’t know what the frat was all about (besides screwing with her sisters), but despite the stereotypical depiction of a frat house as some hovel where drunk jocks do who-knows-what to women, the “Dog House” as her sisters all it, was always kept in pristine condition, with a freshly whitewashed exterior, and lawn work being done every week. Still, they were the enemy, and she knew it would be trouble when she finally used the brass boar knocker against the maroon surface.

A muscular man in a black t-shirt with the sleeves torn off and a chain belt opened the door and stared a full head down at Felicity.

“Well, hello, there, Lilac. Why the social call? Why don’t you come in?”

His voice was sweet but alarm bells rang in Felicity’s head.

“Cut the act, mutt. I’m here for the key.” Felicity said, doing her best to imitate the insults and attitude she had seen her elder sisters use when interacting with the fraternity. Unfortunately, the raised eyebrow this guy gave her did not bode well.

“Uh…wait here a sec. I’ll ask our leader about that.” And the man in the black shirt closed the door, leaving Felicity to wonder how she did. She had never interacted with these guys alone and hoped she wasn’t about to be captured herself.

After a few sweaty minutes in the sun, the door opened again, and the same man as before handed her a rolled-up piece of paper tied up with a red yarn.

“This is a secret communication.” The man said, “It’s to be read only in your sorority building, and-”

“Yeah, I know. I’ve been in the sorority for five months.”

“Really? I haven’t seen you before. My name is Bob, and I-”

Felicity turned around and left.

Back at the sorority house, Felicity was greeted with the familiar sights of flickering lights and clothes everywhere. Her leader, who always preferred her robes when available, was staging some sort of “I’m not your maid” protest and the rest of the group hadn’t gotten the hint yet. Usually, chores would be decided by some contest, but even then people were slacking. On a green, jelly-stained couch, Nicole and Cassidy watched a movie, wearing vests and skirts (the only things that could be attached in their condition). Once the leader, who, due to a bet, was forced into a hoodie and sweat pants despite the weather, saw the communication, she called a meeting so she could read the note. Her eyes scanned the paper and her face went through several conflicting emotions before clearing her throat and reading the note aloud:

What’s up, Lilacs?

Congratulations on the two new members. I hope you’ve got a spare bed ready because they aren’t going anywhere for a while. Obviously, we have the key and naturally, we hid it somewhere on campus. We also know you love games (really, we know everything), so there are eight golden Easter eggs; one for each of you and one containing the key. (We know you now have nine members, but to be merciful, the two newest members are exempt).

The rules are simple:

    1.       Each of you looks for these eggs.

    2.       Each sorority member can only open one egg.

    3.       Once an egg is found, it must be opened.

    4.       If an egg is found and the finder already opened an egg, another member of the sorority must open the egg.

    5.       If it’s the key, you win!

    6.       If it’s a fake key and a slip of paper, you must do what the paper says.

    7.       If all fake eggs were opened or if the key isn’t found in a week, you lose and will have to wait until the next game we issue.

Good luck!

Each sorority member had a different reaction. Nicole and Cassidy were scared, Fan and Fran were furious, Stacey was nervous, and Felicity was trying to hide her excitement.

“Um…is this allowed? I thought only sorority members could issue challenges to each other?” Cassidy asked.

“Stacey, rules.” The leader muttered, pinching the bridge of her nose. Stacey nodded and cleared her throat.

“Ordinarily, yes, but an exception is made in the case of a house battle. Basically, they used your joining as an excuse to declare war on our sorority, ending the …Fan, what was it again?”

“Ceasefire treaty of ’95.”

“Thanks. But if we gain some advantage on them, we can challenge them as well.”

Nicole and Cassidy shared guilty glances. Stacey noticed this and felt a mix of shock and concern.

“Oh, no no no! It’s not your faults! They just wanted an excuse and this was enough of a status quo disruption to do it!”

“Heck, the last treaty broke in ’68 because the heads of both houses broke up with each other.” Fan added.

“Boss,” Fran said, holding a calculator, “I’ve got an 87.5% success rate for us, assuming we each find an egg.”

“Oddly merciful for them. Regardless, we don’t leave our sisters behind! Everyone, go find those eggs! I’ll stay here in case the girls need anything. Text me when you find an egg, now move it, sisters!”

And before you could say “Omicron Omega Omicron” the house was cleared.

Felicity wandered campus, wondering where she would hide an egg if she were in the frat. All she had to go on was that the eggs were on campus. The most obvious thing would be to spread the eggs out, so naturally, she was tempted to check the football field on the opposite side of campus. This turned out to be the right move, as she saw a glittering golden egg at the base of one of the stadium lights, resting on a shoebox. Felicity knew she should be nervous, but this was such a big event, she couldn’t wait to see what was in store! She rattled the egg and heard something sliding around in there. A key! But then she remembered the eggs also had fake keys in them. Excited and disappointed, she popped open the plastic shell and saw a key colored not in a distinctive chrome plating, but simple rust, and a slip of paper like a fortune cookie’s.

There’s something for you in that box. Open it up and stick it in your mouth. See reverse side afterwards.

Curious, she opened the box to find a strange device, looking like a phallus on one end and a pair of oversized lips on the other. Following the instructions, Felicity put the device in her mouth, using her phone to ensure the comical lips were straight. All it took was one experimental suck to fill her mouth with some unknown yet incredibly sweet substance. Instinctually, she tried to spit out the device, only to find it was now stuck to her mouth! In haste, she checked the other side of the paper.

See reverse side first. This thing will stay where it is until those keys are recovered or at the end of the week, whichever comes first. We will then give the antidote to that safe to consume long lasting fetish glue.

Felicity sweated as she texted the leader, and not just because of the heat. A whole week like this? But it was Sunday…classes started tomorrow!

One egg down, seven to go.
