Chapter 1 - Molly
Josh mumbled under his breath as he walked in the nursing home. It wasn’t exactly his favorite place to be on a Saturday afternoon. He looked around the beige reception desk without interest. On the far right of the counter sat a sad pothos, its dried leaves screaming for water. He touched one and it broke off, falling silently on the worn out fake-wood. Ironic, he thought.
A voice shook him out of his gloom, although it wasn’t much jollier than his. “ ‘Morning. You are?”
“Josh. Thorson..” He added, seeing the lady’s unimpressed gaze. “I’m here for community work, I think my Uni’s teacher contacted you last week.”
She rummaged into a drawer or two before finding what looked like an email that had been printed out. A few sentences had been underlined. “Josh Thorson, yes I remember. From that sociology class..”
“Exactly.” He retrieved his driver’s license from his coat pocket and handed it to her. She approved with a nod. “I know I’m a little early, but I can wait outside if there’s a pro…”
“Look around you, son. If my employees gave as much thought to their punctuality as you do, this place would be a lot nicer than it actually is. Follow me.”
After hanging a yellowed Be right back sign at the front of her desk, she guided him through a long corridor, half-assedly explaining the function of rooms as they walked by them. Employee kitchenette, locker room, bathrooms… Josh clocked them absent-mindedly, more focused on the smell that hung in the air in every square inch of the building. A mix of mildew and cigarette smoke, the kind that filled the stairwell of any apartment complexes. Even though it brought back memories of visiting his grandparents, the smell in and of itself wasn’t especially pleasant.
They finally ended up in a break room furnished with the most basic items. A microwave, a water cooler, and a small refrigerator. Six empty chairs had been neatly placed around the table, and Josh and his newly found friend sat face to face for a quick briefing.
“Okay, Josh. I’m not gonna lie to you.” She joined her hands together. “I was initially going to pair you with a group of elder gentlemen for a few games of cards, so that you can go up their senses and bring a fresh face into their day, but today I’m in a pickle.”
Josh frowned, unsure of what she meant. His stomach growled. “What’s the problem?”
“I have one resident that is severely disabled. Usually, her caretaker spends most of the day one on one with her, but they called in sick this morning. I had to take care of her for a while earlier but I have other things to do so I can’t stay with her the entire day.”
“So… You’re hoping that I step in to take care of that person?”
She smiled. “You’re a smart kid.” Seeing Josh uneasiness, she raised her hands at him. “Don’t worry.” She liked her lips. “I’m not talking about a mental disability, either. There’s no spitting, or screaming, or incontinence to manage, but she will be 100% dependent on you for everything else. She is otherwise healthy and has a good head on her shoulders. To be honest, I think she is of very good company.”
Josh sighed internally, although it did transpire on his face, too. “What choice do I have…” He thought about the extra credit he was hoping to get for his sociology class and shrugged. “Okay, why not.”
“Good boy.” She smiled, showing a few of her missing teeth.
Since it was still early in the morning, Molly, like most of the other residents, was still in her private room. Rhonda, the woman who had greeted Josh and usually ran the reception, had stepped in to help when Molly’s caretaker had called-in sick. However, as she had told Josh over and over again during their tour of the facility, Molly’s disability was extremely limiting. Rhonda had helped Molly out of bed and set her up in her usual attire and seat, but there was still a lot of work to be done, including bringing her out in the shared living space and helping her eat breakfast.
Josh was finally left alone at the foot of the door leading into Molly’s room. He knocked.
“Hi, I’m Josh I’m uhh… replacement for today.” He cursed at how stupid he sounded.
A clear, almost singing voice answered. “Please come in!”
He almost stumbled back. Unless his senses were playing tricks on him, that wasn’t the voice of a 70 or even a 60 year old. Molly had to be a lot younger than he had initially thought. He took a deep breath and opened the door.
What initially hit him was how different her room looked compared to the rest of the facility. It had been painted with vibrant colors, decorated with good taste, and many potted plants actually thrived here, compared to the poor pothos placed at the reception desk. The smell of tobacco and old farts had been replaced by a sweet earthy fragrance, and an opened window allowed a soft breeze to bring in the fresh morning air. He closed the door behind him, afraid to ruin the room’s feel.
Then, his words stuck in his throat when his eyes fell on her.
She smirked and looked up at Josh. “Hi.” She spoke in a lower voice now. “I’m Molly.”
Molly sat in a recliner set close to the floor, naturally angled in-between the outside window and the entrance to her room. Josh finally understood what Rhonda meant when she talked about Molly’s disability : She was… limbless. Completely and utterly limbless. She wore a beige turtleneck that fit tightly around her figure, with sleeves that had been folded and sewn shut at the shoulders and hung limply at her sides. As she breathed in and out, Josh stared at how they bobbed up and down, devoid of anything to fill them up.
From what he could see from where he stood, her legs seemed no different. Sunken halfway in her seat, no legs came about from her hips. A pair of jean shorts had been jammed up to her waist and even though her figure was quite impressive, it was clear that Molly had never taken a step in her entire life.
Forgetting his manners, Josh stood in front of Molly, completely frozen, for a ridiculous amount of time before remembering that she was a human being and not a doll. Looking up, she pursed her lips, clearly uncomfortable. He shook his head and stepped forward.
“I’m Josh, nice to meet you.”
Hand extended towards her, he froze again, while Molly’s face hesitated between a nervous laughter and a deep sorrow. It ended up doing both in quick succession. “I’m… I’m afraid I can’t do that.”
His heart sank in his chest. What an idiot, he thought to himself. What a fucking idiot. He rubbed the back of his neck in shame. “Shit, I.. I’m… so, so sorry about that.”
“It’s… Don’t put yourself down for it. People do it all the time.” She smiled a little wider and shrugged. “You’ll get used to it.”
“And feel bad about it for the entire day, for sure..” He took another step and kneeled before her, trying not to stare too much at her missing limbs. He took a deep breath. “Like I said, I’m Josh. Nice to meet you.”
“And I’m Molly. Nice to meet you too, Josh.” She seemed to warm up to his presence. “Are you a new hire?”
“Not at all I… Um…” He rubbed his neck again and ran a hand through his hair to reach his forehead. “I’m failing a class in university and my professor told me I could get extra credit if I did some charity work.” He bit his lip, hearing how horribly insulting that sounded. “That was so insensitive, god I’m terrible at this.”
“I do live in a retirement home. And you weren’t supposed to be taking care of me today.” She moved her right shoulder around when talking, her mind unconsciously using it even though it was of no use at all. “If it makes you feel better, we can pretend you’re a friend that came over and just so happens to help me with my day. Would you like that?”
Even after having been insulted twice in the span of a few seconds, her attitude towards her upcoming day as well as the severity of her condition had not shifted at all. Josh managed to smile back. “Yeah, I would like that.”
“Good.” She perked up and straightened her back, Josh’s attention immediately turning to her empty shoulders, then at her hips, sunken in her seat. “You can ask, you know. I know my condition is pretty unusual.”
“Ask about what?” He said defensively. She looked at him through his eyebrows playfully. “Sorry, I'll try to be more considerate.”
“I don't mind it, I'm serious! I’ve seen you look, it’s a normal reaction. It's not everyday that you see someone like me.” She shrugged her right shoulder and showcased her limited range of motion. “Go on. I’m listening.”
“Okay then.” He looked around the room again, noticing how most furniture had been modified to be closer to the ground. “Can I ask what happened to you?”
She chuckled. “Nothing happened, that’s the worst part. I have a condition called tetra-amelia syndrome, which means that I was born missing my four limbs.” She shifted her weight to the left and waddled on her seat, showcasing an empty side of her pelvis. “My arms and legs completely failed to develop in utero, so I’ve lived my entire life like this.”
“I thought maybe you were in an accident, or something.” He said awkwardly, not wanting to be inappropriate while still being curious.
“Wouldn't it be cool, though? Something heroic, like… I pushed someone out of the way of a moving car, or got attacked by a shiver of sharks when surfing. But no. Just plain old me.” She shrugged, like showcasing her empty shoulders.
“I understand.” Josh reached for the sewn sleeve to her right and stopped right as he brushed against the seam. “Oh my god, I’m so sorry. I don’t know why I did that, I keep doing the stupidest things...”
Molly shrugged. “Don’t worry about it. You’re going to have to do a lot more than that if you want to care for me for the day.” She pushed her shoulder forward. “I give you permission.”
He leaned in again, carefully this time around, and shifted the conversation away to fight his awkwardness. “We look like we’re about the same age, don't you agree ? How old are you?”
She nodded. “I’m 22.”
“And I'm 24.” A smile beamed on her face, washing away the rest of his apprehensions. “I hope I can make this day a great one for both of us.”
“I’m sure you will.”
He let his eyes wander down her body once more and noticed another thing for the first time : her breasts. Although hidden by her turtleneck sweater, they were quite big, D size by Josh's guess. With both shoulders lacking arms, it gave the impression that they were even bigger than that. He could see the thick armature of her bra underneath the fabric of her sweater. She ignored the direction of his stare and spoke invitingly :
“Care to join me for breakfast?”
Chapter 2 - Together
“Hi Josh, doing good this morning?”
“Thanks Rhonda, I’m good. Is Molly in her room?”
“You'll find her where you usually do.” She winked at him.
“Have a good day, madam.”
Josh had easily found his motivation for coming to do his charity work at the nursing home. Every Monday for the past two months, he had spent the entire day with Molly. Tending to her needs, helping her eat, and playing a few games with her. There was an ease about being in her presence, like nothing mattered other than what they were experiencing at the moment. Perhaps it was an effect of her extremely limited body, which slowed down just about anything he had to help her do throughout the day. He would arrive directly from the maelstrom of his student life where his time seemed so fleeting and stumble into this place, where picking up a playing card became a task on its own. Minutes were allotted when only seconds were needed, and watching Molly go through her motions made Josh's head spin.
Last week's visit had left them in a strange haze. Since his visits had become so frequent, they had assigned her caregiver to someone else in the nursing home for that day. What Josh didn't know was that it was Molly's own idea. She had pushed Cecilia, her usual caretaker, away so that Josh had to be her aide in more… private circumstances.
During the afternoon, they had watched a movie together. Snuggled on her low couch, Josh had risked resting his hand on her stomach, Molly letting him feel the rise and fall of her breathing without a word. And although he had thought to be particularly clever, she did feel his erection pressing against her back from time to time.
Without further ado, Josh speed walked through the retirement home to find his way back to Molly's room. He knocked twice and walked in without waiting for an answer, again finding her in the low recliner. As her cheekbones reddened, he couldn't help to smile back at her, a flurry of butterflies tingling his stomach.
She had been fitted inside a tight black tank top that left her empty shoulders completely exposed. His mind stuttered for a moment. She raised her right shoulder towards him in a miniscule motion.
“Good morning, Josh.”
“M-m-morning, Mol.”
He kneeled before her, finding it less demeaning when they were at equal height. Feeling the heat rising through his chest, he took a few seconds to take her new look in. It was the first time she had revealed so much of her unique body to him. Her shoulders weren't quite as wide as her torso, and so her body narrowed by a few inches at the top of her ribcage. At the spot where her collarbones and shoulder blades should've met, there were small ingrown dimples, as if her body had gone the wrong way when trying to grow her arms and had then abandoned. He had seen her use them before, of course. What little range they had was mostly useful for pressing small objects or handles against her jaw. She could then move her head to (hopefully) angle it towards a desired position. But he had never seen them like this before.
“This top really suits you.” He said, his voice quivering.
She chuckled. “Thanks. I had Cecilia dress me this way specifically…” She tried and failed to contain another fit of laughter and crinkled her nose. “For you.”
Silence fell into the room, broken only by a lone bird chirping in a nearby tree. Time seemed to freeze while Josh's brain tried to process what she had just said. Her green eyes were fixed on his ; asking, hoping. He took a deep breath. And then another one.
He reached forward to touch her left shoulder and as he let it slide between his fingers, she almost moaned. Her breathing quickened, mirroring his own, and he closed the distance to land a kiss on her lips.
They were soft like silk and sweet like honey, delicious and filling, both new and comforting. In that instant, he wished never to have to leave them again. He did, however, but only for a moment, before kissing her again, his thumb against the empty articulation of her shoulder, exactly where her humerus should’ve been born. He felt the atrophied muscle twitch beneath his touch and shivered, unsure what it meant to her. Her tongue slithered in his mouth and left a minty aftertaste, her breath hot against his face.
She backed away from his lips and opened her eyes, biting her lip, squirming on her seat. “Josh I… I like you. A lot.”
He smiled back. “Well, I think I actually love you.”
Tears flowed freely down her cheeks as she shrugged and tried to wipe them away without success. She twisted her body and waddled forward by a smidge, repeating the process another time with the same result. A lock of dark hair fell across her face and he placed it behind her ear once more. His index finger ran along her jawline and to her chin to wipe a streak of salty water.
Then, in a quick and confident motion, he swept her off her seat and into his arms, securing her limbless torso against his body. Her hefty breasts, usually supported by a strong bra, seemed to hang lower that day. They pressed against his stomach instead of his chest and threw off his balance when trying to hold on to Molly. He adjusted his grip, moving a hand underneath her wide hips, feeling the smooth skin of her legless rump.
Naturally, without questioning each other, Josh had brought them over to her bed, a queen sized mattress infinitely too big for her. Although he had seen her balance upright when sitting on it, she let herself fall onto her back, shoulders shrugged, like trying to catch herself with elbows that were not there. She pushed down on the bed with her shoulders, then with her head, rocking her hips, moving up towards the pillows, as slowly as a snail would have. She squirmed one last time under his watchful eyes and settled, slightly out of breath.
“Come join me.”
She spoke softly, teasing him with an empty shoulder, cruelly reminding her of her lack of limbs. Josh had overcome her initial feelings of unease regarding her anatomy and now saw yer through it instead of because of it. The tetra amelia syndrome she suffered from was a terrible disability, but it also made her who she was. Would Josh have fallen in love if it weren't for the delicate interactions they shared as he helped her with her daily tasks? Would he have paid attention to the subtle details of her personality if her body had more parts that he could look at?
He kneeled on the bed and lied at her side, granting himself another taste of her lips. He helped her onto her side, keeping an anchoring hand on her lower back. As his fingers wandered between her jeans shorts and her panties, she spoke in his ear.
“Take off my clothes.”
They stared at each other and she bit her lower lip, tilting her head to the right to touch her bony shoulder with it. Josh already knew that she trusted him. Over the past few weeks, he had helped her in every possible way that didn't include going to the bathroom or undressing. Nakedness was the only remaining thing that she had kept hidden from him, and she had just decided it was time for a leap of faith.
Molly couldn't do it herself, of course, even if allotted an entire day to do so. Squirming against the bed quickly reaches its limits, and rubbing her hips on the floor would've been no use to remove the tight shorts that she wore on most days. She needed his help. Again. Always.
With a flick of a finger, he undid the pressure snap that held the shorts together. Sitting beside her on the bed, he slowly dragged them down to reveal her navel, and kept on with his movement for another few inches before they fell flat before him. Her pelvis was on full display before him. Just like her shoulders, there was not a single trace of leg to be seen on the articulations. Smooth, supple skin stretched in the leg holes of her panties like the most natural thing in the world. He felt for the one on her left and she sighed, squirming under his simple touch. He reached underneath her to grab her ass, and noticed how it never really ended. With no thigh to delimit it clearly, it curved forward until it simply faded in with her stomach.
He turned his attention to the black top. The one that Molly had chosen specifically for him, as she had said. It showed him so much and yet, he desired even more. His knees now set on both sides of her pelvis, he reached in for a kiss, holding her right shoulder, running his thumb against her weak collarbone. Then, he quickly slid his hand under her top and yanked it off of her body. Unsupported, her breasts slipped to her sides, almost comically exposing her chest. She writhed before him, unable to do much, letting Josh in complete control, and with forbidden knowledge about her.
No one had ever trusted him this much. No one had ever put that much faith in him as a person, and it touched him profoundly. That someone as vulnerable as Molly would allow him into her private quarters. That even though she was as defenseless as a baby, she invited him to join her on the bed. He stared into her green eyes and a shadow passed at the back of his mind like an intrusive thought. He shook his head. He wouldn't hurt her a bit. All he wanted to do was care for her. Forever.
He undressed down to his boxers and joined her again, throwing a thin sheet over them for good measure. She squirmed again and he helped her on her side, happy to keep drowning in the emerald green of her eyes. Her left breast plopped down from her side, sagging together with the right onto the mattress.
“You make me feel whole, Josh.” She said in a whisper. “When I'm with you, I don't feel like a burden.”
“You were never a burden.” He caressed her cheek and ran a hand through her dark hair. “Not to me.”
He found her left shoulder again and let his fingers explore its angles, its shape, its uses. He knew that she was missing her arm, yet holding in his hand the exact point where it was not felt surreal to him. He exposed it once more from under the sheets and kissed it gently.
Molly reveled in his presence. Too often was she treated like an object, or someone or lesser stature just because of her condition. Like how she was left to rot in a nursing home in her early twenties because she couldn't land a job to pay for a nice apartment. But Josh saw her differently. She moved her shoulder under his hand, aware more than ever of the limits of her movements, although he didn't seem to care at all. His fingers traced and circled on her skin without worry, down from the limbless articulation and onto her ribs, tickling the side of her breast, listening to her body sing under his touch. She felt loved for what she was, instead of what she could've been. The curve of her ass filled his palm and she tensed her glutes, tightening her muscles in one of the very few ways she knew how. He squeezed her cheek between his fingers and she closed her eyes, enjoying the sensation. She had dreamed of this moment, and it was finally happening.
Chapter 3 - Apart
A few months had passed since their cathartic morning in the warmth of Molly’s room and they had since moved in together. Away from the monotone ambiance of the nursing home, Molly felt more at ease, especially now that Josh was her full time caretaker. He had modified his schedule, taken a lot more online classes, and was thus at home for the better part of the week, except when he had to leave for work on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Even then, he was still pretty close to home and could bounce back quickly if anything happened to his sweetheart.
Needless to say, their situation suited them both completely.
It was a sunny Saturday morning and the sidewalk was unsteady. Years of being battered by the elements had cracked the cement and it rendered his work as wheelchair chauffeur quite difficult. He wouldn’t’ve wanted Molly to fall from her seat, although he had meticulously strapped her in, nor did he feel like doing a forward somersault. He slowed down to negotiate a particularly bumpy section and picked up his pace again, eager to get cover from the scorching heat. The mall’s A/C would be more than welcome.
As they walked in, they immediately caught the eye of a dozen people. As a rule of thumb, wheelchairs are usually pretty uncommon amongst a crowd. Like bystanders of a car accident, people always like to look at who took place in them, perhaps as a way to comfort them in their own insecurities or give a higher meaning to their lives. Josh had noticed the change instantly, as well as the novel way people looked at him when he was out and about with his new girlfriend. Nobody ever looked at him before, frankly because he had nothing out of the ordinary to offer to the outside observer. And yet now, even though they were mainly interested in Molly, he could feel the weight of their stares on the back of his neck. They looked at her, a young woman in her prime, crippled as terribly as one could imagine, and at her prince charming, a young guy around the same age, seemingly devoted to her wellbeing. To them, it was both beautiful and tragic.
As usual when they went out, Molly insisted on wearing her beige turtleneck, the same one she was wearing on the day they had met. As he pushed her around the mall looking for their favorite discounted clothes store, he stole looks at her empty sleeves. They swayed along with her breathing and Josh’s controlled turns, sending tingles down his spine. He knew she was strapped in properly, he had done it himself. But he couldn’t help but freeze when her momentum pushed her against the straps, the middle one digging between her breasts. The thought of her plummeting to the ground because of one of his mistakes was an intrusive thought that he hadn’t managed to chase away.
“What about this one?” Molly said, pointing with her chin. “Let me feel the fabric.”
“The green one?” He reached inside a clothes rack for a long sleeved crop top and brought it to her face. She rubbed her cheek against it like a cat.
“Mmhh.” She shook her head and turned her attention further down the aisle. “I don’t understand fashion. If you want long sleeves because you’re cold, why would they make it a crop top?!”
He grinned, amused by her remark. “I don’t know what to tell you.”
“That and mesh sleeves.” She sighed. “I’m not a reference in terms of sleeves though, am I?” She shrugged and stretched her shoulders, giving a brief shake to the remains of her sewn sleeves. Then, she jumped and squealed. “Ouh!! Cat shirt! Cat shirt!”
“Where? Oh, got it.” He smirked and carried on.
Fifteen minutes later, they made their way to the fitting booths with what they had plundered together. The clerk greeted them with a defeated look.
“I’m terribly sorry, the disabled booth is already in use. I’m going to have to ask you to wait until it’s free again.”
Molly looked up at her boyfriend inquisitively. “You’re the judge, but I don’t mind a regular one if you carry me to it.”
“Yeah of course, if you’re okay with it.” Josh shrugged and looked back at the clerk.
“G-g-great! Here’s your key.. L-let me get your things. Room #4, straight ahead, can’t miss it.”
He met with her shaking fingers and machinally unstrapped Molly from her wheelchair before scooping her up in his arms. They had become quite accustomed to this motion since their first meeting. Josh held most of her weight with one hand below her rump, and friction took care of most of the rest. As he pushed her weight towards his body, his other hand on her lower back, her sizable breasts shifted against his chest. He ignored the other customers’ looks as he walked by them, and locked the door of the booth behind them.
Being with Molly was hard work, he couldn’t deny it. At home or on the go, he was her hands, her reach, her feet. But he wouldn’t’ve changed her for all the money in the world. Her body had shaped all of her life experiences and thus made her who she was. Josh set her down in a narrow leather chair, kissed her on the lips, and went to work.
Removing her turtleneck, slipping on a shirt, fixing the position of her breasts inside it, rotating the chair towards the mirror, maybe holding the sleeves against her empty shoulders, then doing it all over again for all the pieces they had picked out together. He couldn’t get over the face she made just half a second before he squeezed the shirt over her head. It made him laugh every time.
The last one was a sports bra, which at her cup size was basically a tube of stretching fabric with holes for her head, torso, and arms. The latter remained empty, of course, showcasing her bony armless shoulders. Staring back at her reflection, she rolled them back trying to get a sense of how it fit her.
“I’m not even sure if it feels too tight or if it’s the cut that’s wrong.” She waddled on her seat, leaning securely against the backrest.
“Looks good to me.” He winked at her and felt for her breasts, trying to adjust their position. “Is that any better?”
She groaned. “I’m not sure.” She looked up and lowered her brows. “Would you mind fetching it in a bigger size?”
“I’ll see what I can do. Don’t go anywhere.”
She smirked and stuck out her tongue while he left the fitting room, closing the door behind him. What he hadn’t noticed, however, was that the handle hadn’t clicked completely. He had stayed a second or two in front of it to be sure it wouldn’t swing open and, satisfied, had walked away. The slight breeze he had caused by power walking had been enough to cause the door to delicately, slowly inch open, so that by the time he had walked back to the aisles, Molly was in complete view of the other customers walking in.
“Josh? Josh?! Shit…”
There was nothing she could do while she waited for his return. Even if she had managed to squirm down from her chair, without breaking her neck, that is, it would’ve taken her an eternity to waddle up to the door only to have to hold it closed with her head. Looking around, she spotted a shirt that hung nearby and craned her neck towards it. First pinching it with her lips, she used her tongue to slip it deeper into her mouth and bit into the fabric. Goosebumps traveled up and down her torso when the fibers gritted against her teeth and she tugged at it, effectively getting it off the hanger. Then, Molly straightened her head. The shirt hung loosely in front of her, hiding her cleavage but not much of the rest, and she swung her head wildly trying to spread it across her breasts without success.
She sighed and took a short break.
She rounded her spine and let herself slouch back in the chair to adjust her center of gravity but having no effect on her fabric shield. Then, she crunched forwards and motioned towards a nearby fold with her left shoulder, hoping that her articulation could inch it towards her sides. When that failed, she swung her head left and right but the shirt was simply too heavy. She couldn’t build enough momentum to throw it up to her shoulders. Where the hell is Josh?, she thought to herself, still holding on to the shirt, the spot between her teeth now wet with saliva. She squirmed and stretched on her seat, most of her core muscles engaged, hoping not to slide down the leather seat, when her eyes met with another customer. An older man, a pile of cargo shorts and gray tank tops between his hands. He stared back at Molly shamelessly, getting an eyeful of the enormous breasts that threatened to spill out of her bra. The armless shoulders and the wriggling hips came into his mind a few seconds later, as well as the look of controlled panic on the young woman’s face. Not my fucking problem, the man thought. He unlocked his booth blindly, his eyes still fixed on her, and disappeared from her sight.
She dropped the shirt, definitely exposing herself, and shouted. “Josh?!?”
Panic was settling in, and she felt she was still slipping. She did not want to smash her head on the floor today. Footsteps reached her ears and just as she thought her boyfriend was coming back, she saw yet another man, although younger than the previous one. As his eyes fell on Molly’s alien’s figure, they bulged out of his face like a cartoon character and rushed up to her side.
“Are you okay?” He spoke with a Slavic accent, his voice shaking slightly. “How can I help?”
“Yes, if you could just sit me back up…” She arched her back and pushed against the chair with her head, “..that would be amazing..”
His touch was strong, yet unsure. She felt his hands against her back and as he lifted her gently, her balance shifted forwards and her breasts pressed against his groin. She recoiled, her face almost touching his stomach, and squirmed helplessly, dependent on his movements for her own stability. How humiliating..
The man apologized profusely, his cheeks now tomato red, and adjusted her position again. Keeping his hands beside her shoulders, his expression was stuck between embarrassment and fascination.
“Thank you so, so much. You’re a lifesaver.” He watched her shoulders intently as they moved along with her words. “I thought I could sit by myself for a few minutes while my boyfriend fetched something for me but then…” She shook her head. “Thank you. Thank you a million times over.”
“I can stand watch if you want.” Even though he made a conscious effort of looking into her eyes, he couldn’t help but steal glances at her limbless shoulders and hips every few seconds.
“That’s really nice of you, but I’ll be fine. The only reason I got stuck was because of the door swinging open. I wanted to cover myself up and well.. I ran out of options.”
Ivan, as was his name, assured he would keep his ears peeled and if anything else was to happen to her, he would come over from the fitting room next door. She thanked him again, and he made sure that the door was closed correctly this time around.
When Josh finally came back, he thought Molly looked a bit disheveled compared to how he had left her, but decided not to comment on it. He had learned to let these kinds of things go. Chances were she had to do, move, bite, or nudge something by herself and the last thing he wanted was to put her on the spot or make her self conscious about her disability. If she wanted to tell him about it she would, and usually did.
However, she didn’t know how to feel about what had just happened.
For as long as she could remember, Molly had always been cared for pretty closely by her family and friends, and lately by her various caretakers. Josh was the first that had actively made her feel more independent. In situations like this one, he felt comfortable leaving her alone for a few minutes, knowing that she didn’t need his presence 24/7, something that her parents had never done before. In addition to feeling less like a burden to others, this allowed her to watch how strangers reacted to her sitting by herself, for example, as opposed to being accompanied. It was empowering, in a way, but also very humbling.
But this felt… Different, to her. She hadn't felt empowered at all, on the contrary. She felt small, and weak, and vulnerable to Ivan’s mercy, unable to defend herself. As he took control over her body and moved it without effort, her heart raced in her chest, anxiety spiking in her brain, wondering how he would act. What if he had hurt her? Or used the occasion to fondle her breasts and sexually assault her? There was nothing she could have done to stop him. She chased the nightmares away and shook her head.
Being looked down upon, stared at, made fun of because of her missing limbs wasn't new to her. But, despite what she told herself every time it happened, she had become used to it against her will. Over the years, she had developed mental blockages that prevented her mind from spiraling too often into self-deprecation. She knew how to ground herself again and keep going with her day.
As opposed to Ivan, who couldn’t have seen it coming.
Molly had heard the tremble in his voice, seen the sweat on his forehead and his eyes open wide. Like a lightning bolt on a calm summer evening, Molly’s limbless body had appeared in his life without a moment’s notice. Scenes like these lived rent free in her memories, having happened to her thousands of times over the years. It was the first time, however, that she noticed just how much people reacted to her body and in this moment, her perspective seemed to shift. She had an impact on them. The uneasiness, the discomfort, the awkwardness in people’s looks, in their gestures, trying to navigate the surroundings of a limbless girl whose mouth was her only prehensile organ. She was the cause of all of it. Prisoner of the scene, yes, yet still the director. The center of attention, for better or for worse. As much as she was embarrassed by needing Ivan’s help, she relished the memory of his hands shaking against her skin, or the look of incomprehension on his face as he stared down at the jean shorts that fit snugly on her pelvis. In the moment, she had wanted to disappear from the surface of the Earth, flustered as she was. But the more she thought about it, the more intrigued she became. Perhaps he would spend the rest of the day replaying the moment in his head, unable to get the image of the limbless girl out of his mind. Did she really do that to him? Simply by existing the way she was? Could she really be the cause of so much discomfort? So much concern? She found the prospect exhilarating.
She let these ideas float around while Josh finished putting the clothes back on their hangers. Most of them hadn’t convinced the couple, anyway. As Josh removed the up-sized sports bra and freed her breasts, Molly spoke up, a sly grin at the corner of her lips.
“Could you scratch my back, please? I’ve had an itchy spot I can’t quite… A little higher… Yesss, oh my god thank you.”
“You’re most welcome.” He grabbed her bra from where he had put it down earlier but was interrupted again.
“There has to be a misplaced stitch, or something sticking out of the seam. I always get itchy when I wear this one.” She looked up at him, as she so often did. She swiped her shoulder tinily to the side. “Forget the bra, just put on the turtleneck and I’ll be fine.”
If at first Josh obeyed with no objection, he soon changed his mind. Without support, Molly’s breasts sagged down to her stomach due to their size, which became quite unflattering from underneath her shirt. He cleared his throat.
“To be really honest Molly, it’s… Um.. Not your best profile, let’s say. Your nipples are showing, it’s pretty obvious.”
Well aware of the situation, she replied without much conviction, arching her back. “This feels way too good to be ruined by an itchy bra. I’ll deal with however I look.”
“You’re the boss.”
Josh had to make two trips to the front desk. One to bring back the pile of clothes that didn't fit Molly, and a second to carry the girl in question. As he strapped her back into her wheelchair, he put aside his comment about her looks in a drawer inside his brain and stopped thinking about it.
Meanwhile, it was the total opposite for Molly.
Why did she react like that? She had gone through countless interactions like this in her life. Be it at school, with friends, or at the nursing home, they had often left her with a strange sense of dread, of being a dead weight to the people around her. She would play them back in her head like she was doing now, but not for the same reason at all. What happened differently this time around?
Reminiscing her emotions in the moment, she felt bad for even thinking about it. There was something in the way Ivan had reacted that was driving her crazy. Ivan had reacted this way because of her. And he hadn’t just noticed her from afar, either. She was right up in his face, with all her imperfections and in the moment, he didn’t know what to say and how to act. Molly had absolutely starstruck him. Without hands and feet, without arms and legs, by her presence alone she had had that effect on him. Her vulnerability in the face of a total stranger had turned against him and put her in a position of control. Should she really be amused by the troubles of others? She had felt horrible before, during, and after their little interaction. It was only now that she became conflicted over it. It was done at her expense, on that she agreed, and she definitely didn’t feel good about it. But something deeper had stirred inside of her. She felt stuck between a rock and a hard place, unsure what to think anymore.
Her wheelchair bumped on the metal strip at the store’s entrance and she snapped out of it. While she was on another planet, Josh had paid and bagged their purchases and they now strode through the crowd once more in search of their new destination. She straightened her back and wrestled against the straps that held her in place, very much aware of her low hanging breasts.
Josh stopped at GameStop to purchase a new PS5 controller, having broken the last one after a pretty tedious Elden Ring gaming session. Molly looked up at all the bits and bobs that they had been selling for the last few years and spotted a pair of Pikachu ears, stretching her right shoulder towards it instinctively. She interjected Josh and he kindly set them on her head.
“How do I look?” She pouted and turned her shoulders sideways, striking a pose.
“If you weren’t already mine I would capture you in an instant.”
As cheesy as his answer was, she still fell for it. Molly had of course never played video games, but she enjoyed listening to Josh talk about them as well as watch him play. They continued deeper into the store and he parked her out of the way in a corner while he struck up a conversation with the clerk. The noise around her fading out to a constant buzz, she looked down the shelves at Zelda-themed puzzles, and her yellow fluffy Pikachu ears fell across her eyes, held up only by the ridge of her nose.
She frowned and crinkled her nose trying to make it fall from it but it was stuck, and the plastic circlet now scraped the skin at the back of her ears. She craned her neck and shrugged both shoulders, reaching as high as she could, but they were far too stubby. She finally shook her head and they tumbled down onto the floor, under the attentive eyes of a young guy near the counter.
Had he seen her while she had them on? Or only after the disastrous last few seconds? She looked down at the discarded ears, infinitely out of her reach, and then back at him. Hair was strewn across her face and the strap of her wheelchair had sunken even deeper between her breasts. Her nipples were showing, Josh had told her, and she could almost feel the guy staring into them like they were her eyes. She didn’t know what she wanted more: To disappear into the ground, or that he would walk up and set the ear back onto her head. In the end, neither of those things happened. He simply walked up, picked up the ears and set them near her hips, on the seat of her wheelchair. His gaze lingered there for a moment, too.
That’s wayyyy better, she thought sarcastically. She squirmed before him, provocative almost, to show him how useless his gesture had been. Words gurgled out of her mouth before she could stop them.
“A little help?” She jumped back at the sound of her own voice. What was she thinking?! She wanted him to go away and vanish, not incite him to come closer! She bit her lip in remorse at how she had talked to him, but looked rather cocky to him instead.
Dumbfounded, the guy walked back to her and picked up the Pikachu ears before setting them on her head again, his gaze flickering back to her saggy breasts. “Sorry.”
She laughed nervously. “Thanks.”
Although she had almost commanded him back to her, Molly was still a limbless gal sitting in a wheelchair. As the stranger stood up and walked away, she remained stuck behind her restraints, feeling everybody’s gaze upon her. Why, why, why did she do that?! She rolled her shoulders and strained her neck, finding her boyfriend at the register, in the process of paying for his damned controller. If she had had legs, she would’ve run away from the store at full speed…
Molly’s mind was racing a million miles a minute. Her attention was elsewhere, away from the mall and away from the present. She even refused a taste of Josh’s soft pretzel, pretexting that she wasn’t hungry. Too many things were spinning inside her head. Too many questions, with too many complicated answers waiting for her. In the end, they walked back to the apartment, exchanging very few words on the way back. Then, Josh set her onto the living room couch, put on some music and headed to the kitchen to prepare an afternoon snack.
“Josh?” She called out to him softly.
He stuck out his head from the alcove. “Yeah?”
“I… Uh..” She waddled on her seat unconsciously, one of the ways her body had found to release the awkwardness that was building inside her. “There’s something I need to talk to you about.”
Josh’s heart skipped a beat. He quickly put aside the avocado he was cutting open and sat next to her. “Is something wrong?”
“No.. Yes… I don’t know, actually.” She sniffled. “Something happened back at the mall and I’m not sure how to feel about it.”
“Did someone hurt you?!?” He said defensively. “I swear to god, Mol, if I need to break some jaws…” He fit a fist inside the palm of his other hand exaggeratedly.
She giggled. “Nothing like that, no.”
The words scrambled in her head, like wanting to get out all at once. After taking some time to rearrange them in the correct order, she managed to tell him about what had happened in the fitting booth while he was gone. Her struggle to cover herself, Ivan’s intervention, and even that brief moment at Gamestop with the Pikachu ears. He let her talk freely, not once interrupting her as he knew this was hard enough to talk about. She had opened her heart to him and he intended to listen as attentively as he could.
“I don’t know why, but I keep thinking about it. I just can’t get it out of my head.” She shook her head slowly, like defeated.
“I’m sorry, Mol. If I had known that this would happen, I never would’ve let you by yourself.”
“No, no, don’t be sorry. It’s not what that’s about.” She paused, untangling her thoughts again. She took a deep breath. “I… Don’t think I hated it.”
Josh waited a few seconds to let the echo of her words settle down. He, too, was calculating an angle of approach to keep the conversation going smoothly. “You…” He scratched an itch on his arm. “What are you saying exactly?”
“I’m not sure.” She looked in his eyes, hoping to transmit her thoughts directly into his head, and took a leap of faith. “It felt humiliating. I was by myself and, and defenseless, and weak, and I couldn’t do anything…” She closed her eyes. “... but I kind of… liked it.”
A tear rolled down her cheek. Josh was quick to wipe it with a finger and dropped a kiss on the ridge of her nose. He endured the silence and waited for her to speak again. Her breathing hitched, her body quivered, but after a minute or two, she found the strength to continue.
“It was like the effect I had on others had mirrored back to me tenfold.” She moistened her lips and scoffed. “As much as I felt miserable and helpless, it also felt good in a way.” She looked at him again. “Am I making any sense at all?”
“Is that why you asked me to remove your bra before we walked out of the store?” He looked down at her sagging breasts, hanging low near her stomach, clearly visible even through the fabric of her turtleneck. “So people paid more attention to you?”
“It’s not just about attention… Gosh why is this so hard to explain!” Her hips rolled to express her discontent, as if she wanted to tap her foot loudly on the floor. “I felt… Humiliated. Squashed like a meaningless bug. You know I’ve struggled with my self-esteem for all my life. And today, it reached a new depth. You should've seen the pity in their eyes, Josh, it was like I had been stabbed in the heart… But behind the pain and the suffering, something else had awakened. Something warm and comforting, pleasant even.”
He laid a hand on her left shoulder, letting his thumb caress her collarbone, down to where it met with her shoulder blade and failed to grow into an arm. “I have never heard you talk about yourself like this. It takes a lot of courage, Mol.”
She frowned, almost offended by the word. “People say that a lot about me. That’s the only word that comes to their mind when they see me. How courageous, how inspiring! What they mean is I would rather kill myself than live an entire day inside her body.” She scoffed. “I don’t need courage. I don’t squirm through the day for people to think I’m inspiring. I do it because that’s my only option.” Her voice cracked, the words bitter on her tongue.
“People don’t say you’re courageous to mock you, Molly.” He reached for her cheek with a hand and turned her head towards his.
“I know they don’t, but that’s how it feels to me.” Her chin quivered and Josh’s heart sank in his chest. “They see a young crippled girl and all they can think about is how miserable I have to be, instead of literally anything else. I have no limbs, of course my life is a fucking tragedy.”
“Come on, Mol. You know that’s not what they mean.”
“I know, but that’s how it sounds to me.” She sniffled and craned her neck, rubbing her upper lip with her stumped right shoulder. “The reason they use these words is because they’re jealous. Jealous that my existence alone causes an entire room to turn their attention to me when I’m wheeled in. Jealous that I would draw so much sympathy and not them. I’ve loathed this feeling for so long, Josh. You have no fucking idea how I dreaded going to school and needing help for everything, from eating and writing to wiping my own ass!” Her breathing had quickened, her eyes were unfocused, like entranced. “It took me years to realize it, but I see it clearly now. They think I have no control but I’m the one who actually controls them. It’s because of my body that people react this way. I’M the one in control.”
Josh was astounded by her words. It felt to him like a dam had bursted in her mind, releasing decades of stored frustration at once. He didn’t know what to say to comfort her, if comforting was what she needed. In fact, it felt like that’s what she was trying to emancipate herself from. He reflected on her open-hearted confession for a bit, her cheek still nestled in his hand, feeling the muscles of her jaw tense under his fingers. An idea bloomed in his mind. Slowly, gently, he brought his hand back towards him, trailing intently across her chest, and secured his palm on her side closest to him. He paused for a second, took a deep breath, wondering if she would understand. Then, he bit his tongue and pushed her over.
She squealed, falling on her right side, then rolled on her stomach without being able to stop herself, shoulders shrugged. “What are you doing?!” She squirmed on the couch, arching her back, her hips lifting only slightly under her efforts. “Help me out!”
He stood up before the couch and admired his work, the taste of iron spilled in his mouth and he released his grasp on his tongue. “Sorry, Mol, I didn’t mean it.” He tried to speak as neutrally as he could, but couldn’t totally hide his sarcasm. “Do you need help?”
Molly’s heart raced, unsure what to think about her boyfriend’s sudden change of pace. She threw him a quizzical look, the incomprehension in her eyes transforming into something more visceral. He had done it. He had understood what she meant and had immediately recreated a situation where she was the victim, as if testing a hypothesis. In this moment, even in front of him, she felt humiliated by how easily he had toppled her, without even expressing any remorse towards how she felt. She was powerless, entirely at his mercy. But as her face showed embarrassment and fear, a strange warmth had started emanating from her guts. A match had been lit, and its flame was hungry for more. She repressed it for a moment and tightened her throat, putting on an act to keep the interaction going.
“Please, Josh! Why are you doing this? Help me!”
He turned his tongue seven times inside his mouth. “Poor helpless girl. Of course I’ll help you.”
His sugar coated words, patronizing as they were, kindled the flame in her stomach, made it burn hotter, brighter. He had intentionally put her in a situation that exacerbated her need for assistance and her embarrassment started twirling together with an unexpected arousal like two flammable substances in a test vial. He reached towards her, cradling her into his arms like he always did, and kissed her on the lips, effectively washing away the negative emotions he had just inflicted on her. She stared back at him, like transfixed.
“How was that?”
Molly’s head wanted to be mad at him for pushing her over, to yell profanities at him for treating her this way, but something else inside her wouldn’t let her. The burning match had been dropped inside the test vial and all three now burned with a renewed fervor. The heat, initially present in her gut, had made its way downward and now rested comfortably inside her pelvis. He had done exactly what she needed to confirm her suspicions. The flame, if unsettling, was now undeniably present.
“Josh, I…” She looked into his eyes with a new perspective, both of him and of herself. She wasn’t sure how to put her conflicting feelings into words.
Josh encouraged her silently, then with a few gentle words. “I think I know.”
She clicked her tongue and squirmed in his arms, not letting him place another word. “No. Let me say it.” She took a deep breath and sighed heavily. She felt like an enormous weight had been lifted off her shoulders, or that a new tint had been added to her sight. She had uncovered a new layer of herself and wanted to be the one to announce it, be it proudly or shamefully. “ I think I like being ridiculed, Josh. Being humiliated turns me on.”
He sat back on the couch, keeping Molly balanced on his knees, and smiled at her, understanding. The words had stumbled out of her mouth without real conviction, but they both knew that it was the truth. Her new truth. “I think you do.” He kissed her lips lovingly, without any judgment in his heart. “How would you feel if I told you I love watching you squirm and struggle before me?” He smiled and shrugged, like trying to hide his head inside his torso like a turtle.
The heat went up a notch inside her hips. “If you were to tell me that, I think I would say I love squirming and struggling for you.” Her smile stretched wide, washing away the remaining uncertainty in her heart. “Does that mean we’re meant to be together?” She bit her lower lip, regaining the confidence she had lost during their afternoon escapade.
One hand on her lower back, he reached for the hem of her turtleneck and flipped it over her head, freeing her sagging breasts, exposing the skin on her armless shoulders. He stared at them all and took them in, like an art critic before a new tableau. “If we aren’t, then I don’t know who is.”
Josh leaned back against the couch while helping Molly stay balanced on top of his groin. Even though her hips were wide and plump, their lack of legs made it hard for her to stay upright, especially on an uneven surface. He admired how snuggly her shorts fit over them, and how deliciously empty the leg holes remained, exposing a patch of smooth skin where her legs had never been. Eyes halfway closed, Molly had begun grinding her hips against Josh’s, a seemingly easy task that monopolized most of her attention. He could feel the heat pulsing inside her genitals even through their clothes, and it fueled the rise of his own erection.
She opened her eyes again and, seeing Josh’s full attention on her, decided to play the card of the shy girl, again treading the line between loving the attention and being overwhelmed by it. She raised a shoulder to try and hide behind it and her breasts followed her movement, swaying before his eyes like oversized pendulums. Her erect nipples showed like two bullseye on a scoreboard, enticing him in. However, considering the conservation they had just had together, he thought it would be insensitive to Molly to jump immediately into making out or having sex. Instead, he lowered her slowly, her torso resting against his, and he moved his hands to feel her rump, now perfectly accessible for him.
“I love you.” He whispered in her ear, resolidifying his engagement to her. It wasn’t the first time he had told her, but its meaning seemed to be rooted even deeper, now.
“I love you.” She answered, kissing his cheek.
He slid his hands inside the leg holes of her shorts and squeezed the spot where her limbs had not grown. “What now?” She craned her neck and stared at him. “Does that change anything between us?”
Molly thought about his question for a while. Her relationship with Josh was the best thing that had happened to her. This new reality didn’t change how much she loved him, nor how she perceived him. If she had to guess, it would in no way impact how he treated her. There were, however, new ways for them to explore this newly found dynamic. Today’s accidents had been exactly that: accidents. But perhaps there was a way for them to replicate it. She spoke up.
“I have an idea.”
Chapter 4 : Reunited
The day had come.
Molly’s stomach churned at the thought of it, although she was the one who had given Josh the idea. She could feel panic simmering at the bottom of her spine. Menacing to heat up and overflow up to her head. Using breathing exercises she had learned from her meditation app, she flushed away the stinging unease that had started taking over her stomach and sighed deeply. She was still able to keep it in check for now. Her only hope was that it wouldn’t start boiling before the right moment.
“Are you done?” Josh’s voice came from the other side of the bathroom door.
She shook her head. “Um, yeah I am.” She looked down at herself, balancing on the throne. They had purchased a widened toilet seat to allow Molly to sit more comfortably by herself, without fear of falling over constantly. The fact that it was meant for morbidly obese people left her unfazed. If it’s what she needed to gain a grain of sand of independence, she would take it. “You can come in.”
Josh rolled a wad of toilet paper and patted her dry. So many people had taken care of her this way that the gesture felt mundane to her. Her parents, caretakers, close friends even, during parties and such. People might’ve found it revolting or shameful, but what other choices did she have? She didn’t care much for it. For her, unable to do it herself, it was a means to an end. But his touch was different. So much more gentle, more caring, like he always knew exactly what she wanted or needed. In this room, he treated her like a work of art : Fragile, delicate, needing the utmost respect. Walking through that door shifted them into another world, separate from the rest of their lives. The door that led to their bedroom, however…
That was another world.
With the door shut and locked, Josh turned on the heater and the hot water. In a matter of seconds, steam and heat had filled the bathroom, enveloping Molly’s skin like a soft blanket. He undressed himself before removing her girlfriend’s loose fitting t-shirt and picked her up, his hands secured underneath her legless hips. As she waddled unconsciously in his arms, he closed his eyes and focused his attention on the supposed muscles of her non-existent thighs, twitching deep inside her pelvis. What is she trying to move? He thought, kissing a soft spot behind her ear.
“That tickles!” She giggled and squirmed, pushing her hips against him teasingly. He lifted an eyebrow and smirked, making his way into their walk-in shower.
Since Molly had moved in with him, Josh had put more attention on keeping his floors clean, for obvious reasons, but the tiled floor of the shower was kept impeccably so. He made sure to scrub it meticulously every morning before their shower, since Molly’s genitals rested against it when she sat beside him. In the corner opposite to the shower head, Josh had tinkered a makeshift seat for Molly : two rectangular pieces of tempered glass that he had affixed to the floor with suction cups. When she slouched against them, they were strong enough to hold her weight while her back was secured against the wall behind her. He slowly set her down behind his homemade contraption, but she squirmed her back away from the wall, her right shoulder her only remaining contact point with it. She turned her head away from droplets of splashing water, armless shoulders shrugged, and Josh looked down at her hips, smushed up against the barriers.
“Cold! Cold!”
“Shit, sorry, I forgot. Here.”
He grabbed the showerhead and kneeled before her, first warming up the tiles against her back, then getting her all nice and wet, even dousing her face in hot water.
As she spat and blinked it out of her eyes, he wiped them with his thumb and kissed her soaking wet lips, steadying his hand on her left shoulder. Then, he hung the showerhead on a nearby hook low to the ground and aimed it at her breasts, sagging near her stomach and dripping with water. He first shampooed her hair, rubbing her scalp with force and watched her eyes revulse under the intense pleasure it procured her. She groaned, the anxiety of her coming day faltering a bit.
“Ohhhhh my goooood. I love it when you do that.”
He leaned forward and fit her left shoulder in his mouth, his own eyes menacing to pop out of their sockets. She moved it around, tensing the few muscles she knew were anchored nowhere but still moved the flesh underneath her skin. He tasted her voraciously as she pushed against him, helplessly enjoying his intensity almost as much as him. He moved back a few inches and watched as she squirmed, her hair full of soap, stretching her shoulder as far as she could towards his face. He let her wince under the effort even as she waddled forward and twisted her torso, eyebrows furrowed, biting her lip. Just how helpless she is, he thought. The glass panes dug into the flesh of her stomach now and threatened to come loose. He finally leaned in a little closer and let her boop his nose. She freed her lip and smiled from ear to ear, proud of herself.
After rinsing her hair, he proceeded to rub virtually every inch of the skin on her body, letting his hand trail from her shoulder and onto her sides, where her ribs were unobstructed by the presence of arms, to where her waist narrowed and she was terribly ticklish. Then, her form widened again into her strong hips, as limbless as her shoulders, and her flesh sagged to the sides under her reduced weight. He slipped a hand underneath her cheeks and thumbed her flesh between the bones of her pelvis, before delicately cleaning in-between her labias.
“Hands are so weird.” She wagged her shoulders again. “I can’t even imagine how complex they would feel to me.”
“You’d get used to them in no time, trust me.”
She giggled, looking down at his hands, water still running down her breasts. As for the latter, he needed to lift them to clean their underside, being so big that they hung low on her chest, her erect nipples aimed towards the floor. He let them down again, trapping his hands underneath for a moment and enjoyed the warmth it provided him. He then moved both hands to her shoulders and straightened her towards him, pushing his tongue between her lips to meet hers. She moaned and forced herself in his mouth as well, her torso undulating awkwardly under his fingers. He let his hand rest on her stomach, feeling her abdominal muscles tense under the intense effort she needed to move her body.
A minute or two later, Josh stood back up to Molly’s discontent and her lips lingered in the air, expecting him to reward her with another kiss.
“Hey..! I wasn’t done! Come back!”
He sat down a few feet away from her, hands palm side up, enticing her forwards. “Come and get it, then.”
She scoffed and tried to whip away a strand of hair from her face without success. The wet lock was firmly stuck against her forehead, far from her shoulders’ reach. “You bet.” She let out between her teeth.
Water still running on her chest, she looked down at herself, mobilizing the muscles in her torso to try and figure out how she was going to waddle sideways. It was a lot harder than walking forwards, she had once told Josh. Instead of twisting her body and inching her hips up from the floor, it felt as if she had to jump from one butt cheek to the other as she did a weight transfer sideways. She braced herself to her left, crunching sideways close to the floor, and straightened herself as quickly as she could while tensing her hips to the left and shifting her balance to the right. Her breasts had swung along with her movements, only with half a second of delay.
Not doing it hard enough and she wouldn’t have moved. Doing it too hard and she risked falling on her side. For the moment, it seemed she had gained a few centimeters, at most, and was in the process of trying again. Under Josh’s attentive eyes, she squirmed, waddled, struggled, inched, ever closer to the edge of the glass panes that fenced her in her seat. Her left hip had already bulged out of it, and had caused her to shift the way she moved, since she didn’t want to rotate out of it and end up on the floor. With her back straight, she needed more focus to stay upright and her sideways movement had slowed down almost to a stop. Her waddles were inefficient, her movements tentative. She had noticed and was in the process of adjusting her spurts, but knew she was one wrong move away from collapsing. She looked up at Josh, asking, but he didn’t react. They both smirked. It had become part of their routine since their lengthy discussion. She loved to struggle for him, and he loved watching her.
“Oww!! Ouch ouch!! Sweet potato, sweet potato!!”
After her last waddle, the glass pane had slipped right between her labias and the rough edges dug deep into her sensitive skin. In an instant, Molly was in no mood to play at all and had uttered her safe word. Josh immediately sprang forwards and took her in his arms, massaging her lips gently with a finger.
“Poor Mol, are you okay?” He ushered in her ear. “I don't see any blood, at least.”
“But it still hurts….” She pouted, very much in pain, while still adding a layer of acting for his protective boyfriend. “You'll need to take care of meeeee…” She pursed her lips and smiled, getting a kiss for a reward.
“You've been such a good girl, Mol.” He removed the strand of wet hair from across her face. “Come on, let's get you dried up.”
Coming out of the enveloping warmth of the bathroom, Molly’s anticipation for tonight had gone back up one tick. Her boyfriend had managed to make her forget about it while they showered and played with each other, but now it was coming back stronger than before. Did she really want to do this? Josh laid her on their bed and peeled the towel off of her skin like a banana peel, as if revealing the delicate fruit underneath. Another chill coursed through her tiny body and she wormed before him, hoping that the friction of her back against the sheets would give off some kind of heat. As he stood up and looked down at her, something stirred in her guts, adding to her anxiety on top of her uncertainty about tonight. It swirled like a witch’s brew, his stare like burning embers underneath the cauldron. She squirmed again and his eyes widened, jumping from her saggy breasts to her stumps. She smiled internally and forced herself to speak.
“Don’t just look at me! I need help!”
He seemed startled, and she frowned to accentuate her faked distress. He reached beside her to grab the clothes they had chosen beforehand and easily slipped a pair or white panties up her legless hips to hide her folds. Another thing onto which she had absolutely no control over. The same conflicting feeling arose in her mind, a tug-of-war between embarrassment and empowerment. She was at his mercy, and that was exactly why he had to do everything she wanted.
He crumpled her favorite turtleneck in his hands and forced her head through the opening, messing up her hair, before shimmying it down her torso. After pulling her upwards, he made sure that the hem of the sweater rolled down to hide her hips completely, since they had agreed for her not to wear shorts that night. Finally, cradling her in his arms like a baby, he carried her over to the front of the dresser and secured her position on a pillow, angling her body against the furniture. Her large breasts sagged inwards as the corner of the wood pressed into them yet she didn’t seem to mind or notice.
Josh then meticulously blow dried and combed her hair before putting his braiding skills to the test. He started with a French braid on top of her head and proceeded backwards, securing the thick rope of dark brown locks together with a matching hairband. Satisfied, he took a picture of the result and showed it to Molly. The anxiousness in her gut went back down a notch. She stared at herself in the mirror, unconsciously posing to admire her face and hair.
Am I really about to do this? she asked herself mentally. Then, she looked up at Josh’s reflection as he smiled down on her and the embers in her stomach started heating up again. She smiled.
Josh closed and locked the apartment door before heading out towards the bus stop with Molly ahead of him, securely strapped into an adult-sized stroller. It was a lot smaller than her wheelchair, more practical and maneuverable, too. They had bought it using Molly’s disability pension and were absolutely loving it. Since this purchase, Josh had noticed they were dragging even more attention than before. Was it because of the unusual sight of an adult sitting in a stroller? Or because, since their little discussion, she had almost completely stopped wearing bras? While no one knew for sure, she quickly learned to love the attention.
Molly let her gaze wander outside the window for most of the bus ride, her thoughts racing behind her eyes. The day had finally come, Josh and her had talked about it endlessly until both of them were sure it was a good idea, and had shaken on it. Or so to speak. She took a deep breath and sighed.
Everything will go as planned, she reassured herself. If not, I can always use my safe word.
Josh brought her back to reality when he stood up and rang the bell, getting ready to hop off the bus. He took the reins and guided them towards the back, intentionally bumping Molly around behind her restraints. In the matter of 10 seconds, she caught 5 different people staring at her. A kid, shamelessly looking, unaware of his rudeness ; two teens elbowing each others, finally finding a reason to take their eyes off their phone ; a woman in her forties, who quickly averted her gaze upon meeting Molly’s ; a girl about her age, slouched in her seat, a disgusted expression on her face. Molly shrugged and squirmed behind her seatbelt, pushing her breasts against it so that it sunk in her cleavage, and appreciated their reactions. She smiled cockily. It was becoming a lot easier for her to take pleasure in small moments like these.
She rode that high as they made their way to Josiah’s apartment, but it left her as quickly as it had come. Looking up at the patio door on the second floor, seeing people bustling inside, knowing that this was her destination. She swallowed hard and looked back at her boyfriend, who also seemed to hide his apprehension, although a little better than her.
He spoke without looking at her. “Ready?”
Her voice was tinted with all sorts of emotions. “Ready.”
As they rolled towards the door leading in the apartment complex, Josiah stepped out onto the balcony, a blunt sizzling at the corner of his lips.
“Josh! You made it!” He spoke loudly, like someone already a few beers deep.
“Hey man! Care to give me a hand?”
“Give me a sec, I’m heading down!”
A few moments later, the guys were fist-pumping and embracing each other, glad to be in the other’s company. Their attention soon turned to Molly.
“... and here’s Molly! Molly, Josiah. Josiah, Molly.” He gestured back and forth between them. “I told you about her, right?” There was a hint of sarcasm in his voice.
“Did you?!” He looked down at Molly. “He never fucking stops talking about you! Josh’s fabled girlfriend, in the flesh! Nice to finally meet you!” He took a small hit of his joint and offered it to her. “Here! A meeting present!”
She wagged her right shoulder and shook her head. “Thanks for the offer, but maybe later.”
Josh swiped it from his friend’s hand and stuck it in his mouth. “Come on, get the front wheels.”
Just like they would’ve done with a baby, they carried Molly up the stairs and into the apartment before setting her down again amongst a heap of discarded shoes. Josiah grabbed two beers from a nearby mini-fridge and handed one to Molly.
“Surely you’ll take a beer?” He said as he looked down and realized his mistake. “Fuck, sorry, I…”
She chuckled, shaking her head, shrugging her shoulders as high as she could to tease him. “It’s okay, I’m more of a cocktail kind of girl, anyway. Josh will take care of it.”
Josh threw Josiah a fake exasperated look before winking back at his girlfriend. “Come on, let’s get you a drink.”
Josiah’s place was pretty big for a student’s apartment. Getting in by the front door, they debouched directly into a big living room where people sat around a TV monitor, screaming an ongoing Super Smash Bros match. Glasses, cans, cups, and shots laid scattered across the room either full, empty, or in-between. As he maneuvered out of the cluttered entrance mat, Molly caught the attention of two guys Josh didn’t seem to recognize. Leaning against the wall hand in hand, Molly felt their stares as Josh pushed her forward, as if she had a target hanging on her forehead. She shrugged, like trying to hide behind her limbless shoulders, but her hanging sleeves only dangled at her sides.
“Ahem, ahem!!” Josh coughed exaggeratedly to get the attention of someone standing ahead of them in the middle of the corridor.
“Oh, sorry about tha… What the FUCK?!” A colossus wearing a football jersey jumped back at the sight of the poor girl in a stroller.
“Some politeness for the lady, Greg?”
The Greg in question stepped aside, his eyes glued to Molly’s silhouette, muffled grunts escaping his mouth with each labored breath. He wouldn’t’ve reacted differently to seeing a dead body being wheeled in the apartment. Well aware of the situation, Molly purposefully squirmed against her restraints in ways she knew were comically exaggerated. She arched her back, digging the diagonal seat belt in between her breasts and squishing them against her chest, shrugged and twisted like trying to break free. She craned her neck and bit on the fabric at her shoulder to mouth it a quarter of an inch further down her body and groaned. Greg’s lips let a quiver escape and she smiled internally.
It felt both dehumanizing and freeing, in a way.
Just as she waddled on her seat, her cheeks sticking to the cushioned leather, they turned left into the kitchen. All the opposite of the so popular open-plan of the 2010s, they entered by a door, not unlike one leading to a bedroom, into a tight kitchen filled with people chatting and drinking. The volume dropped noticeably as the guests’ eyes flashed to Molly, who was suddenly very aware of her sagging breasts. She stopped squirming, now much more invested in hiding behind the dated wallpaper than dragging any more attention to herself.
“You're Molly, right?!”
The voice had come from behind her. Sweet, young, it sounded energetic and friendly. Unable to turn her stroller around like she would’ve done with her electric wheelchair, she craned her neck back to try and make eye contact.
“Yes! Hi..?”
“Sorry about that!” A girl in her late twenties walked around to face her. Short colorful hair tickled the top of her ears as she talked and moved her head. “Hi! I’m Kiri, Josiah’s girlfriend. Josh told us so much about you, I feel like I know you already!”
Molly scoffed. “More good things than bad, I hope?”
“Toooons and tooooooons of amazing stuff! He did say your dancing skills were pretty terrible, although he wouldn’t tell me why…” Molly stammered, shocked by Kiri’s audacity. Her shoulder shrugged unconsciously. “I’m kidding!! Of course he told me about your condition. When I saw your stroller from afar, I knew it had to be you. Since we can’t shake, care for a kiss on the cheek?”
Still petrified by her confidence, Molly didn’t know how to react and let herself be kissed on both cheeks, feeling her soft rainbow hair against her face. “Nice to meet you, Kiri.” Her hand fell on her left shoulder without an ounce of hesitation or discomfort. “Do you and Josiah live here together?”
“We don’t officially, but between you and me I’m here a lot more often than his roommates would like to admit.” She burst out laughing, the back of her hand against her mouth, oinking like a pig. “Oh my god, I’m sooooo sorry about that. While Josh is making you two drinks, want me to show you around?”
Without letting any time for Molly to answer or protest, Kiri took hold of the stroller and bolted out of the room with her protégée, bouncing her around in her restraints.
It wasn’t long before Molly became the main talking point of the party. Amongst the 20 or so people present, everyone had looped around the living room, some more subtly than others, to catch a look at Josh’s limbless girlfriend. They both knew about it, of course. With their new common interest in humiliation, this was the main reason they had decided to come to the party as a couple.
Freed from her stroller, she sat on the couch beside her boyfriend with 5 other people sitting around the room with them. Super Smash Bros had been turned off and the atmosphere had quieted down to a friendly banter between friends. Josh had set up a glass of sangria with a straw on a side table to Molly’s right and had seldom stopped refilling it since they had arrived an hour ago. Alcohol flowed about just as much as the conversations around them, loosening everyone’s inhibitions.
A stranger to most people around her, Molly was enjoying simply being part of the group, passively listening and nodding along to jokes and conversations. Keeping her eyes peeled, she managed to snag several glances her way while other people were talking and she had gotten more and more confident over her presence during the night. The dynamic was miles away from her evenings back at the nursing home and liked it quite a lot. The residents also stared back at her old place. But being ogled by 80 year old men was quite different than attracting the attention of half a dozen young adults. As she waddled sideways to take a long sip of her drink, Josiah turned towards her.
“Well Molly, I’m glad Josh finally decided to drag you along with him.” He leaned back on the couch and crossed his legs. “Took him long enough to get a girlfriend.” He punched his friend across the arm and was rewarded with a slap on the thigh, the clear sound reverberating around the room.
She chuckled, almost spitting out her drink. “I’m flattered, really. Am I… living up to your expectations?”
He cleared his throat. “I had big expectations and you have well…” He motioned at his own chest and Sara interjected.
“Josiah!!”
“What?! I mean they’re huge!”
Josh giggled at her left and elbowed her softly in the ribs. “I mean, he’s not wrong.”
“I always say that they’re compensation for the rest that’s missing.” She smirked and wagged her empty shoulders, producing a wave of awkward laughter in the people in front of her. She was surprised at her own words. The alcohol had loosened more than she had previously thought. “I’m kidding!! Come on guys, I know y’all are curious, I’m not dumb.”
Faith, half of a black couple sitting across from them, spoke up. “Do you mind if I ask what happened?”
Molly chuckled and shrugged to reach her cheek, relieving a non-existent itch. “I was born this way, that’s the boring part. No big accident, no meningitis tear jerker, just plain old me. Since I’ve always been like this, I’ve never had to adjust, you know. That’s just how life is for me.”
“My cousin’s in a wheelchair and her house is, like, fully adaptive and stuff like that. Is your place the same?” Sara said, resting her elbows on her knees.
“Some of it is. But to be honest, there are a lot of things I simply cannot do by myself, adjustments or not. That’s why I lived at the nursing home before meeting Josh. He’s my hands and feet most of the time.”
“You can do plenty of stuff by yourself! You’re giving me too much credit!”
“I guess! But, you’re the one who pushed me here, you prepared my drink, you dress me everyday… You really are essential to me, Josh.” She looked back at him lovingly.
“And I’m telling you you are better than you think!” He flicked her dangling sleeve upwards and took another sip of his drink. “You guys wouldn’t believe what she’s capable of doing. Let’s show them, Mol.”
“Oh, I don’t think that’s necessary…”
“Why not?! There’s nothing wrong with showcasing what we’re good at, right?” Kneeling, he secured his girlfriend in his arms and propped her upwards on the hardwood floor, making sure her balance was good before letting go of her armless shoulders. He took a step back, distancing himself two feet at most. “Come on! Come get a kiss!”
Molly sighed, looking at the others through her eyebrows, like asking for help. She felt her cheeks redden, even though they had planned to put her on the spot exactly like this. Josiah uncrossed his legs, uneasy.
“Josh, come on, man, you can’t do that…”
Josh replied quizzically. “What do you mean? I just want every…”
Molly lifted a shoulder to interrupt them. “It’s fine, Josiah.” She took a deep breath. “I got this.”
Under the attentive eyes of Josh’s friends, she walked forward like she only could. Tossing, waddling, twisting, and felt her confidence come back after the first few steps. She’d done this thousands of times during her life, and it wasn’t the presence of a few strangers that would make this harder than it already was. Slightly out of breath, she looked up at the others, trying to decipher the look in their eyes. Awe? Pity? She bit her lip and squirmed on, encouraged by the weight of their stares.
It took her a minute to reach Josh’s inviting arms. One minute to walk a distance of two feet, while most people could cover double that amount in a single stride. Nevertheless, she felt proud of herself. She had been purposefully put on the spot and had succeeded in her challenge. Josh rewarded her with a kiss before lifting her back up on the couch beside him.
“See? I told you she was amazing.” Josh said, putting his arm behind her shoulders.
Josiah drank the second half of his beer in one go before speaking again. “Josh, you… You can’t do that.. Putting her on the spot like that, that’s humiliating, did she even want to do that, you think? Did she…”
While the guys argued, Molly had been at war with her emotions. She felt like during her shopping accident with Ivan. On one hand, she hated the attention she was getting, focused solely on her ineptness, her helplessness in facing the outside world. She had been picked up from her seat without her consent and set on the ground with the intent to showcase what little she could accomplish, while also highlighting how miserable she looked while doing it. She had swallowed back these feelings, for she knew others were waiting in line.
“I’m still here!!” She almost shouted to cover their voices. “Just because I don’t have arms or legs doesn’t mean I’m an object!” Her heart raced in her chest. How she had managed to command their silence, their attention! “I’m tired of being treated like I’m not even there. Can’t I decide what I think and feel?” She looked at Josiah. “We’ve just met. What do you know about what I want?”
Dragging the others’ attention on him, Josiah mumbled a few words in his scruffy beard. “I… Uh…. He…”
“Exactly.” She looked at Josh aggressively, hoping that he knew her reaction was part of their setup. “If Josh does something out of line, I’ll tell him. Until then…” She wagged her right shoulder, mimicking only God knew what gesture. “Y’all shut it.”
Crunching to her right, she copied Josiah and downed the rest of her drink, her straw sipping loudly at the base of her glass. She smiled internally, proud of the effect of her fit on the crowd around her.
“If it’s worth anything…” Sara spoke up. “I don’t think I’ve seen Josiah this quiet in years.”
The silence lingered for another few seconds and, like pressure building up inside a shaken beer can, laughter exploded in the living room, only this time at Josiah’s expense. If people’s first impression of Molly had been solely on her physical appearance, they were quickly starting to understand that there was more than met the eye.
The party went on uneventfully for another while. Glasses were refilled, blunts were smoked, and the Switch was turned back on for a bit, blasting the Mario Kart 8 soundtrack in their ears. When everything had quieted back down, Molly and Josh exchanged a few understanding looks, remembering past discussions they had had about tonight, and Molly nodded.
Josh kissed her cheek and whispered something in her ear before standing up abruptly, causing her to lose her balance. As he walked away from the couch, she slowly toppled face first against the cushion’s cracked leather, unable to prevent her fall. Her sagging breasts were now squished underneath her weight and her hips flailed uselessly in the air as the others gasped, some of them even jumping to their feet. Josh raised a hand towards them.
“Are you okay, Mol?”
She shook her head to try and fix the hair that had flown in her face without success. “Yeah, I’m okay. Stuck, but okay.”
Seemingly unfazed, Josh kept moving away. “Good, then. I’m getting some shots, is anyone in?”
Faith spoke up, abashed by what she was seeing. “You’re not gonna let her lie on her stomach like that, are you Josh?”
“She’ll be just fiiine. You saw what she can do earlier, she can get herself out of that just as well. Just let her cook.”
“Josh.. It’s not funny anymore…” Molly pleaded, first lifting up her torso by forcing her forehead into the cushion and then craning her head towards him.
And just like that, he walked out of the room, leaving behind her limbless girlfriend squirming on the couch in front of people she barely knew at all. An awkward tension grew in the air and no one knew for sure what to do. After a few seconds, Sara slowly got to her feet.
“No…” Molly interrupted her stride in a low voice, drowning in embarrassment. “Give me a moment, will you?”
She took three deep breaths to regain control of her emotions. The sparkle in her belly lit up again, feeding off of the astonishment of the people surrounding her. She groaned and squirmed, lifting her upper torso slightly to free her braid from under her before making a plan in her head. She had pretty much fallen in the middle of the couch, her navel aligned with the seam in between the cushions. Her best bet at standing back up was to crawl up to the armrest and use it as support, but that was easier said than done.
She did as she knew best and started rocking her hips, their legless sockets brushing against the used leather, heating up her skin. Almost immediately, she noticed how the hem of her turtleneck crumpled and rose along with her motions, exposing her panties and crotch. All eyes were on her, now, and even passersby had stopped in the doorframe, wondering exactly what was happening. With her back slightly arched, she tensed her abs and lifted herself up, inching forward a few centimeters at most, before starting her movements again from the beginning. She had made some progress, but so much still remained ahead of her. Out of breath and sweating, she took a break, her shoulders barely hanging at her sides.
“Molly, everyone can see your underwear…” Faith had kneeled beside her and whispered in her ear. She felt a profound discomfort at seeing a limbless woman thrashing in front of a crowd of people, while still being deathly afraid of offending her autonomy. “I mean no disrespect, let me help you..”
“I know, I…” Molly answered, ashamed. “I need to do this.”
Her skin was sweaty, now. Moisture had collected on her ass and onto where it curved forward, passing over the spot on her hips where her legs should’ve been. As she wormed them around looking for an anchor point, they slipped against the leather, chafing her skin. Tears formed in her eyes but she blinked them away, trying to keep an ounce of integrity before all these strangers. She didn’t want their sympathy, but rather their attention. Although… maybe she did want their sympathy, she debated with herself. After all, that’s what this party was all about, was it not? Was that not the main reason for their presence? For Molly to make a show of herself? She shook her head.
I changed my mind, she thought. Josh, please please please take me back home, this is so humiliating, I can’t do this…
She sniffled and tensed her abdominal muscles again, digging her chin in the cushion to drag herself forward ever so slightly. Her shirt had lifted up to her navel, now. Her panties were in full view of everybody. Ten people were watching, now. Ten people who, just like the guy in the fitting room, stared at her, helplessly struggling, left to her own devices. Wondering if helping her would rather be an insult or salvation. Ten people who were terrifyingly captivated by her presence alone. Ten people who, as if watching the climax of an action movie, sat on the edge of their seats. Then, it dawned on her. She had gained control over them, once again. To be helped or not didn’t matter anymore, because they were all watching her and listening to her every word.
Energy seemed to flow back into her veins. She felt invigorated and wormed with a renewed fervor she didn't think was still in her. Driven by their attention, she felt like nothing could stop her. Squirming forward had never seemed so easy. She arched her back and somehow found an anchor point to propel herself forward, making some good progress towards the armrest. Then, the unthinkable happened : she felt her hips sink into the gap between the couch cushions. Fuck, fuck, fuck! To think that she had been so close! She was stuck, now. It would be simply impossible for her to wiggle out of that crack. She looked back and saw Sara, still sitting nearby, ready to help. Josh was surprisingly nowhere to be seen…
Even though she had failed, it was still a victory in her mind. She could hear people murmuring, now. Newcomers wondering why no one was helping. It’s a test, said some. It’s a challenge, said some others.
It’s a bet, said Josh’s voice in her head.
She muttered to herself. “Change of plan.”
She knew that standing back up on the couch was impossible now, so she opted for the second most viable option. Engaging her lateral abdominal muscles, she shifted her hips to the right, bringing them dangerously close from the edge of the couch. Then, like she had done it a thousand times before, she wiggled her butt, clenching and relaxing her abs, every time slipping a little more towards the floor. Clenching, relaxing. Clenching, relaxing. The hem of her shirt now brushed against her breasts, squished underneath her weight, and she feared people were going to get a glimpse at them. Passing the point of no return, she felt herself slip ever so slightly towards the floor and paused. Finally, she hooked her chin against the leather to slow down her fall and landed on the ground with an audible thump, managing to keep her balance. Her breasts bounced down a second later, tugging hard on her chest.
There was a sigh of relief behind her, as if everyone had been holding their breath for the past few minutes. She relaxed her shoulders, the bony articulation prominent even through her shirt, and people started talking again. Murmurs wandered in the crowd, reaching her ears, and she felt her cheeks redden. Far from being done with her efforts, she started rotating away from the couch to face the party again, catching Faith’s eyes first. She had stayed by her side all this time, kneeling, hands extended, ready to intervene if…
“It was kinda hot, to be honest..” A guy’s voice came to her ears.
… she fell or had gotten stuck. Faith’s face softened as she sat back on her…
“If you like that sort of thing…” A second one answered, a profound lack of interest tinting his words.
… feet, looking more relaxed than before.
“I don’t mean to disrespect you, Molly, but… How you handled yourself on that couch? That was pretty cool.”
A single bead of sweat trickled down her back down to her panties. Molly crinkled her nose and sent her hips leftwards an inch, and then another, and then another. With every twist of her torso, her breasts swayed underneath her shirt, chafing her nipples against the fabric.
“Thanks.” She chuckled, her embarrassment subsiding, gradually getting replaced by a feeling of empowerment. “Oh, thanks for that also.”
In turn, Faith had reached over and fixed the position of her turtleneck down her body, stretching it over her hips once more. When she had completely turned around, she noticed Josh leaning against a wall in the far back, holding a plate with half a dozen shots of Jägermeister. He smiled, more proud than she would ever know.
Molly’s lips stretched as a sweet warmth overtook her small body. He had seen her after all. Following her gaze, Faith stood up and walked over to reprimand him, gesturing towards her and aggressively whispering in his ear. He didn’t seem impacted by her words at all.
“What makes you think it wasn’t planned all along? There’s more in life than what you can see.”
Molly hadn’t heard his words, but the perplexed expression on Faith’s face gave her the impression that Josh had come to her defense. He gestured towards his girlfriend with his chin, speaking in a low voice, before coming to meet Molly once again.
“How was the show?” She asked, a lot prouder now than what shame she had felt before.
“Marvelous.” He smiled, putting a shot on the table in front of her, out of her reach. “I love you.”
She scoffed and started waddling towards the table, grunting. “I love you too.”
