Re-drew this backround for a remake of Slave Mines of Nyroknythaan! Deep underground are the Darkenlands, home of course to the Drasi elves or Darken Elves as they are called. A strong matriarch society where non Drasi are turned into slaves to mine their Darken Iron ore and Manatite crystals. This ore and crystal have dense and magical powers making it valuable and sought after as armor, weapons and tools, however its vulnerability to the sun means anything brought to the surface must be kept in the darkness.
