(F to Dog-Girl)
“You ever think about how dubstep was just the millennial equivalent of jazz?” Amber chirped.
Jessica blinked, and gave her a flat stare. (Who starts a conversation like that anyways?) “Was work really that bad?”
“I’m a squirrel with tits the size of my head-including the muzzle. What do you think?”
Jessica paused. (She has a point. Not that I’m going to admit it, of course.) “I think that I’m in for another day in paradise.”
It wasn’t (entirely) a lie. Some people would absolutely kill to work at a Starlucks. ‘Wish upon a star, and get fresh coffee from the bar’ was the slogan, and it kept mostly true to it. The pay was generous, the shifts were short enough, and management wasn’t completely so far up themselves they’d cough farts.
But on the other hand, the part about wishing was a little more true than Jessica would like. She tied her apron on, giving Amber a small wave as she swapped shifts with the girl. Or squirrel. It was hard to tell where one ended and the other began.
“Good luck,” Amber said, nose twitching with each word, “I made it about an hour before my first changes.”
That was the other draw of the chain. Any patron could drop a $20 into the ‘wish jar’ and make the servers into whatever they wanted. At first it was just frat guys (who honestly were way worse than the current crowd), but soon enough every furry in town (who knew there were so many?) had to have a taste.
Jessica stepped up to the counter, giving a small glance to her shift partner, who appeared to be taking the first 3 letters of coworker a bit too seriously.
“They wanted extra MOOOOlk.” Sarah said, as though that wasn’t obvious enough from the swollen pink udder that forced a slight slouch into her posture. She also sported a face that was distinctly bovine, with a large and blunt nose and a decorative spot over her eye.
Of course she wore it well. That was just part of her charm. Unlike Amber (who barely lasted a half hour before calling Jessica into work), Sarah could work all day on all fours and still look good at it. (And on the note of Amber…)
“Hey, what happened to the squirrel?” Jessica’s eyes tracked a car pulling into the lot. It was one of the new electric ones, which probably meant this was someone with more money than common sense. She considered ducking under the counter.
“SoMMOOOOOne asked for hazelnut cream, of course.”
“Ah, of course, why couldn’t I have thought of that?” Jessica snickered. The doorway chimed, and her gut sank as a clean-shaven, attractive guy almost ran straight to her.
If she hadn’t worked her for two years, she’d almost have thought he was normal. But now…
“Hey Mark, what can I get for you?”
“A caramel mocha shake with an extra bounce in your step,”’ he slipped a bill into the wish jar as he ordered, “and maybe something extra on top.”
Jessica shuddered as her feet bulged, looking down to find the canvas of her work sneakers stretching. (Thank God work covers clothing!) “You’re really lucky the counter’s glass, you know.” She flexed her swelling toes, feeling each of them bulge in turn.
The stitching on her shoes simply couldn’t last, and she jumped in surprise at the loud sound of them tearing. When she bounced back on her soles, she found them much puffier than they’d been before, swollen and soft.
“Mhmm,” Mark hummed, gazing wistfully at her changing feet. “Mind lifting those puppy paws a bit?”
Most customers would have gotten a stern look for that, but Jessica knew Mark wasn’t the type to film her changes and post them later. She kicked what was left of her sneakers under the counter, wiggling her paw-toes again at the ticklish feeling of growing fur.
It was soft and thick, perfect for a cold day’s shift. In a way, she was lucky he’d seen her first, instead of one of the snake-lovers that sometimes stopped by. Nothing sucked more than slithering around in the winter.
“Like this?” Jessica giggled, bouncing on one of her paws as she added a few pumps of cream to his coffee, giving it a few bounce-assisted shakes.
“Absolutely perfect,” Mark tapped his phone against the counter to pay for his drink, then dropped another bill into the wish jar. “Oh, and the extra on top… Just a bit of drool, okay?”
Jessica blinked in surprise, only to gag at the feeling of her tongue bulging in her mouth. She somehow held onto the coffee, placing it on the counter as her cheeks bulged. “Mwwughpphhmwum!” She tried to gesture to Sarah and get her attention, but of course the cow-girl had found another patron. Apparently this one had a taste for strawberry milk, as the cowgirl’s udder was now half bright pink, and squirted a pink cream.
“Spray it, don’t say it,” Mark winked (and probably thought he was clever).
She decided to give up the fight, opening her mouth and letting out an indelicate “Bllgguuh” as her tongue unfurled paws her lips. It wetly splatted against her chin, and a small trickle of thick canine drool poured into his cup.
“Thanks! Always a pleasure!” He beamed and waved, as though he hadn’t just massively handicapped the girl.
Now, instead of relaxing on her phone all shift, she’d have to hold a cup under her chin to catch the copious amounts of drool her body now produced. At least she didn’t need to worry about dehydrating, thanks to her bovine coworker.
“Aw, lucky! I wanted to be a puppygirl today. Derek likes when I come home and beg.” Sarah stuck out her tongue, which to her credit happened to hang down to her massive breasts. (At least she has a muzzle to slurp it back in.)
“Wuhl Uhm huhhppee tuh chawnjj wif oo,” Jessica slobbered.
“Oh, for. Here, get a muzzle so you can take my order properly.”
Jessica blinked as her face stretched like clay. Her nose darkened, and she felt her cute features droop into floppy jowls. (Always with the jowls! Why is it that people like them so much anways, they’re heavy and droopy and they move every time I breathe!) Her new stretched face flapped slightly as she turned towards her latest patron.
“Hey, thanks Karen!” There was a bit of a growl to Jessica’s words, but that was miles above trying to talk with an engorged tongue in the way.
“My name’s Paulette.”
“Sure it is. What can I get you?”
What followed was one of the most complex orders Jessica had ever heard in her life, which she would have taken for a gag were it not for the deadly serious look in the woman’s eyes. Of course it was too much to bother committing to memory, so Jessica instead bounded around the kitchen looking busy while she mixed a bit of chai and a few boba pearls into a chilled hazelnut coffee.
It was a secret Amber had taught her: give the customer an exotic-enough drink and they’d be too afraid to question it and look like they didn’t understand what they’d received. Of course, it worked like a charm, and the Karen waddled her way out of the store with a flummoxed look on her face.
“YOOOOO ever think that someone’s going to catch YOOOO?” Sarah lowed, absently leaning back against the wall. She kneaded her udder absently.
“Well, what’s the worst that can happen?” Jessica chuckled, crinkling her nose at the quiet clapping of her jowls. (Great. I giggle even a bit and Sarah gets a round of applause.)
Sarah didn’t reply, perking up as a new customer walked into the shop. He was trouble, Jessica knew it. Not only did he sport a ninja headband from that old boomer show, he even had a straw hat (slightly tilted, as if that would help him) and a full-blown Japanese kimono.
“I didn’t know there was a convention in town!” Sarah beamed, clapping.
“There isn’t.” Said the customer (who looked to be REALLY fun at parties) in a nasally voice.
“Oh, um… What’ll it be?”
He adjusted his glasses, which impressively mirrored the light from behind the counter. “A coffee with cream from the lovely cow… But I want the dog-girl to drink it from her, then lactate it into my cup.”
“The fuUUUHMMPH!?” Jessica started to shout, but he slammed a full hundred into the wish jar, and her body jerked towards Sarah, falling muzzle-first onto the girl’s pillowy udder.
“MMMRRROOOO!!! Yuh-your jowls are sooo wet!” Sarah gasped, somehow sounding perfectly like a Vocaroo commission given the gift of life.
Jessica couldn’t reply, too busy licking, sucking, doing everything she could to get Sarah’s udder to squirt into her mouth. Eventually, something must have worked, because cool strawberry cream spilled into her throat. (What kind of freak wishes that a girl grows a serving-fountain udder!?)
With each gulp, Jessica could feel her own chest start to swell, bit by bit. It was a gentle pressure at first, a warm tingling that left her nipples perked. Soon enough though, she found her shirt much too tight, and her newfound cleavage spilled well past her apron.
“Ah, perfect! This will be truly delicious!” Said the customer, who lamentably was quite right.
Jessica popped her mouth off Sarah’s udder, groaning at how full her chest felt. Her swollen tits sloshed with each step she took, until she finally made it to the counter. There, she leaned over and groaned as milk squirted into her cup. Her hands shook as she filled it with coffee, and she tried to pretend she didn’t feel so good she might well pass out at any second.
“T-thank you, will that be all?”
“And one smile!”
Jessica glared, then he stuffed another hundred into the wish jar. “Oh crap, uh, here!” She beamed.
Unfortunately, he’d already made his wish, and Jessica found her assets inflating as her mind deflated. “Uhm, like, thankies sir!” She chirped, bosom bobbing (in a totes amazing way) with a salute. “This bimbo pup’s happy to please, awoof!”
She followed the words by sticking out her tongue a little, just enough that some drool dripped onto the counter.
“Damn, I hate when they order from the secret menuuUUUOOO,” Sarah mumbled. “At least it costs enough to keep it from happening too often.”
Jessi didn’t quite understand that (or anything, tee hee) but at least this meant her shift would go by extra quick! It made her almost want to stuff some of her own money into the wish jar and make it so these changes didn’t go away after a good night’s sleep. Almost.
She did hope that the next customer would come in and change her more though, she loved working at Starlucks!
