(Spy x Family TF, F to Sheepdog)
Loid and Yor Forger were a perfect couple. They perfectly raised their perfect daughter Anya, who perfectly attended the perfect academy for perfect prestigious students.
‘As if!’
Nightfall clutched at the paper in her hands, her nails conveniently punching through Yor’s half of the picture while leaving ‘Loid’s’ unscathed. Nightfall was one of the very select few that knew he was actually Twilight, a master spy who was, most importantly, destined to be hers.
He’d trained her since she’d joined WISE, long before she’d assumed her own false identity of ‘Fiona Frost’… Who was, lamentably, NOT Twilight’s wife.
‘Yor.’
Just the thought of the oafish yokel that Twilight was shacking up with sent a chill down Nightfall’s spine—not that she showed any outward emotion. Twilight had taught her not to show any emotion, after all.
‘Twilight…’
On the other hand, the thought of the blonde man sent a warm clench somewhere deep inside of her, in a spot she wasn’t quite ready to admit yet.
‘I WUV him!’
Or… At least, a spot she wasn’t ready to admit to the outside world. If someone had happened to catch her eye just right, however, they might see a glimpse of a pink heart hidden within her flat, guarded gaze.
Nightfall tucked some of her shock-white hair behind an ear, sending a careful glance around her target’s location: the dog park.
Apparently, Anya Forger was looking for a playmate for her dog Bond, which put Twilight in the perfect position to administer WISE’s latest chemical antigen. It was a contact-only virus, one that would guaranteed, without fail… Transform its victim into a dog.
‘The perfect plan! Twilight will assume that woman left the two of them alone. All I need to do is dab a little onto her skin, and she’ll find herself on all fours soon enough.’ Nightfall thought through her mission quickly and logically. ‘Once this cold war ends, I can have the research team investigate an antidote. Until then…’
She worked diligently, uncapping the small vial of serum and tilting it towards her hand. ‘A few drops onto the back of my nail should keep me safe. Then I need only brush against her hand. Soon enough, I’ll reveal to the world that she’s nothing more than a beast. Yes, a great, big, slobbering, oafish beast. It’s perfect!’
“Oopsie.”
A small figure bumped into Nightfall’s backside, and she stumbled forward. A cold splash burned at her hand for a moment, like near-frozen alcohol.
Unfortunately for Nightfall, her plan was thwarted before it could even begin—though it wasn’t her fault. After all, how could she have suspected that the Forger’s family dog had precognitive abilities, and could see her plot coming in advance. Worse, Anya Forger happened to be an esper, who could read her dog’s visions as easily as she could read Nightfall’s mind, keying her into every detail of the woman’s nefarious plan.
‘What just… Did I just… There’s no way…’
“Ah! Sorry Miss Fiona, please! Oh, what’s that? Is Mama calling for me? I should really get going. Oopsie again!” Anya bumped into Nightfall again for good measure, then scampered away.
‘That… If I didn’t know better, I’d say that was intentional! I’ll need to make sure Twilight—wait, what am I thinking!? I need to get to the bathroom as soon as possible. There might be enough time to wash it off.’
Nightfall smartly turned on her heel, and began to sprint, mentally mapping out the dog park. The bathrooms were just past that shop with the sample milk bones, so-
‘Hungry.’
The thought was in her voice, though Nightfall was sure she hadn’t conceived it herself. Still, it did sound like a wonderful idea. She scratched at the back of her hand idly and changed her course just a room away.
‘Ah… And they have bones!’ She brushed at her hair again, though her fingers twitched slightly as she did. It left her normally sleek bangs unkempt and messy, not unlike the matted fur of an Old English Sheepdog. ‘More than just the yummy milk kind, these ones are going to be the real meaty type that would be great to gnaw on.’
She licked her teeth at that thought, feeling them sharpen against her growing tongue, yet not noticing the change. As though she was on a mission, her mind was hyperfixated on one goal and one goal alone. And soon enough, that goal was in her hands, her long tongue playing along it, mashing against the bone’s smooth curves.
“Um… Miss,” one of the store’s clerks seemed to be at a total loss.
‘A-ah. Of course. I should do this in private. But I’ll need to pay for it first. How much…’ Nightfall turned towards the display of bones, seeing what she knew were numbers, yet couldn’t recognize. It was like trying to read a new foreign language—and on that note, even language was getting increasingly abstract for her.
While changes to Nightfall’s body might have been easy enough to miss, her diminishing mind brought a thrill of horror to the stone-faced woman. She fumbled for her wallet, her darkening palms slipping at its leather. Once it was clear she couldn’t open it on her own, she slapped it onto the table frantically.
“H-herrruff-here! Take it all, keep the ch… chuh… chbllugh!” Her tongue spilled from her mouth, poetically keeping her from saying the word ‘change’.
It was hot and thick, wetly flopping past her chin with not just words, but even the very act of breathing. Her chest bounced in time with the flopping of her tongue, though each jiggle grew smaller and smaller as they shrank.
This latest change wasn’t a complete loss. While she no longer sported a pair of ample breasts, she now had a full set of canine teats, perfect for rearing healthy strong puppies with the dog of her dreams-
‘Dog?’
Nightfall shivered, bolting from the store and its confused clerk—though of course she hadn’t forgotten her bone. She wrapped her arms around it, feeling the hairs on her skin thicken into a full coat, one which puffed out her shirt and swayed densely in time with her hurried jog.
‘Jog. Dog. Rhyme. Hehe.’
‘No, no, no, shut up! That isn’t me! I am a highly trained agent, not some slobbering dimwitted beast!’ Nightfall thought miserably as she soaked her shirt with her own drool. It felt uncomfortable against her chest, so she ducked behind a wall and took it off—and her skirt and shoes too, for good measure.
She didn’t need to worry about her tights. The motion of tugging her skirt down left such deep runs in her nylons that her thick fur burst them like an overripe melon. The shock of having so much hair freed at once sent her falling down onto all fours. Or maybe that was just her hips and shoulders wrenching and tossing her forward.
Her brain rattled around in her compressing skull as she fell, like a ball in a pachinko machine. Each bounce smoothed it a little bit, until the point that Nightfall couldn’t remember anything except the fact that she loved… Someone.
‘Spy? Man spy? Dog spy?’
She didn’t know, and worse, she focused so hard on it that even her own name slipped from her brain like water squeezed from a sponge. But thinking of love made her feel good, so good that she grew a heavy tail just for the sake of wagging it. Or did she always have a tail? She didn’t know, she was just that much of an idiot.
The dog’s heavy fur bounced around her face as it started to reshape, the last signs of her humanity giving way to a new canine life. Her nose darkened, and her lips drooped slightly over her rubbery lips. Her growing muzzle finally let her slurp her tongue back into her mouth… Though just because she was able to didn’t meant that she had any intent of doing so.
It felt good to have her tongue loll out from her mouth like that, after all. She kept panting, bobbing her head as she did and feeling her ears stretch with each bob. Soon they thumped at her cheeks with each and every pant.
The breaths had one final effect on her body, a cruel cosmic joke. Her thin, petite frame bulged out, barreling out into a heavy canine body more suited for yardwork than spycraft. She wouldn’t just be a sheepdog, she’d be a heavy one.
“Mama! Can we have this one!” A grating voice called, which made the dog’s ears lower slightly. She couldn’t quite remember her own name, yet she knew she should dislike this... And she should dislike what its presence meant even more.
“Anya, please, wait up! I don’t want you to get lost again!”
‘Her.’ To be honest, the dog had no idea what this woman meant, but she knew she didn’t like her. She bounded up to the woman, teeth bared…
Yor Forger looked down to the oversized sheepdog who seemed to be intent on worrying at her skirt. Fortunately, Yor’s secret job as an assassin had led to her finding a reinforced skirt, just in case. As for the pup’s attempts to claw at her thighs, that was really little more than a tickle to the superhuman woman.
“Oh! Is this the lady dog you’ve chosen for Bond?” Yor reached down and scratched at her pet-to-be’s ears, heedless of her attempts to nip at her. “Well, I don’t see any collar on her, so I suppose she has to be up for adoption. Do you have a name for her?”
“Twili-ah.” Anya caught herself a moment before giving away the former woman’s codename. “Sunshine! I mean Sunshine! That is her name because it is Sunshine and that is the opposite of any kidn of darkness! Yes.”
It was an obvious lie, but luckily for Anya, Yor was a complete nitwit.
“Oh my! What a lovely name! And she seems so tame, too!” Yor clapped her hands, seemingly heedless of the fact that ‘Sunshine’ was gnawing at the hem of her dress.
“Papa will get along with her too! She has spy training!” Anya beamed proudly, choking on her words a moment later as she realized that she just outed the woman’s past.
But, again, Yor was a nitwit. “Oh, how lovely! That means she’ll get along marvelously with Secret Agent Bond, won’t she?”
‘Sun… Shine?’
The two humans kept saying that word over and over, and the dog decided she liked the sound of it. Even if she didn’t like the big one, the pets and scratches definitely felt nice. So maybe they wanted to call her ‘Sunshine’, she could live with that.
And… Maybe they’d lead her to that mate she liked so much.
With that, the former spy unknowingly joined the mission of her former crush, current master. Would she find love along the way? Only time would tell.
