(Fate Grand Order, Various F to Barnyard-Themed Animals)
It started with a cluck.
Mordred, knight of treachery and heir to King Altria Pendragon, had been visiting her <aster Gudako’s quarters to discuss battle strategy. But just a few words in, and she suddenly hiccupped, a literal feather fluttering from past her surprised lips.
“What the fuBWAK is gLUCKing POCK!” Her head jerked forward with each motion, blonde hair swaying forward, then sweeping back as pristine white feathers. Lips that were so familiar with spouting insults turned into a hard, yellow beak.
She wasn’t alone, either. The dark-skinned beauty Caenis had been eavesdropping form the hallway, and burst into Gudako’s quarters sporting bulging thighs and an enormous ass. “MastGAWK! CLUCK’s HapBWAKing!?”
That tattoos on her body were already covered by feathers that matched Mordred’s own, and her muscles dwindled away followed by her stature. For a moment, she was shorter than her blonde rival—until Mordred started to shrink, too.
Gudako wished that she didn’t know what was happening, she really did. But with so many troublemakers around Chaldea, it was obvious that someone had decided to let their transformation kink get out of control. The only question was, who?
“Hi Piglet!”
As if on cue, the loudspeakers crackled to life. To Gudako’s surprise; however, the voice was Circe’s. It wasn’t like her to just cause chaos like this. Unless…
“Haha, ding-ding-ding! I can tell from that look on your face that you’ve realized I’ve found a Holy Grail. And you know, the best way for me to keep everyone here safe is… Well, to turn Chaldea into my own personal Aeaea! Isn’t that fun?”
It made a certain amount of sense: Servants were the summoned spirits of legendary beings throughout space and time. And, when given a Holy Grail, a magical artifact of potentially limitless power, some of their bad habits were bound to come back to the forefront.
“You can find me in the Command Room, Piglet. I’ll be waiting!”
But why did it have to be Circe, of all people?
It hurt Gudako to turn her back on her changing friends, but she didn’t have much of a choice in the matter. The two fighters were nearly complete hens, red wattles flapping below their throats as they clicked and pecked at their own clothing.
Gudako sighed and set off at a light jog, trusting that the two wouldn’t get into too much trouble without her around. She wasn’t enough of a mage to help them or to fight Circe on her own, which meant that she had to find someone who could.
Unfortunately, the Fitness Room was full of bloated, gushing bovines-to-be. Gudako stared in stunned shock, unable to believe that her friend Circe was capable of this much power.
Scatach hugged a punching bag tightly—though whether that was to stand on two legs or to hump her bulging pink udder against the bag, Gudako couldn’t tell. One thing was for sure though: the warriors certainly was enjoying herself.
She rocked back and forth against the punching bag, a long bovine tongue lapping against it as though it was the tastiest thing in the world. Milk trickled from her four teats onto the ground, mingling with a thin trickle of drool that crept down the punching bag.
Meanwhile, Minamoto-no Raikou couldn’t even stand to greet her Master. Her new udder and bloated spotted stomach left her crawling on all fours, hands feebly pawing at the smooth floor. “Muh… MROOO! MUHOOO!” She babbled, crinkling a widening nose as it stretched away from her face.
Her purple hair fell from a scalp that was now covered in white fur with black spots, no longer needed for a bovine form. Her hands, once so skilled with weapons, were now little more than heavy hooves that belonged on the ground.
“Oops! Did I mention that I didn’t just hit the two outside of your room?” Circe chirped. “See, I’m going for complete conquest here, wasn’t that obvious?”
Gudako cursed under her breath. She knew that Circe would pick up some bad habits from her other Servants… Though this did explain why Circe had been spending so much more time with Nobunaga and her group. Knowing Circe, that meant the Japanese warriors were some sort of animal at this point. Gudako set off at a run, searching for someone else.
She had to find someone immune to Circe’s transformative wiles. And who better for that then Chaldea’s own personal Saints? Martha, Jeanne D’Arc, and even Jeanne Alter were all shielded by their faith—or lack thereof in the Alter’s case. Even if they were somewhat afflicted, it should take longer for them to begin changing.
At least, that was the theory. The reality left Gudako looking at three women who had much more in common with Saint Bernards than Saints of the Church.
Instead of prayers spilling from the saints' lips, copious amounts of drool splattered onto the ground. Their faces burned with humiliation, and it was clear they were trying to control themselves. And, in two cases, failing. Martha and Jeanne both sported jowls, which they pressed against Jeanne Alter’s still-human cheeks.
“Wrong turn again, Master!” Through the intercom, Circe's voice was tinny. Nonetheless, Gudako could still hear the smile in her tone.
“Kh! Why’d you have to come here, you dumbass!?” Jeanne Alter cursed at her Master, tears dewing at her eyes. She was a dog from the neck down, her tail thumping madly at the floor behind her. “I was holding out hoping that you’d fix this damn thing already-MMPGHL!?”
Her blonde twin took advantage of the pale girl’s mouth being open, and shoved her tongue past Jeanne Alter’s lips. Whatever skill Jeanne Alter had been using to keep herself from changing further ended with her broken concentration.
Jeanne Alter’s cute face creaked out into a muzzle, her eyes growing glazed as her cheeks bulged with a sudden onset of change. Her tongue swelled within her mouth, then burst into her twin’s. Soon the two of them were little more than mindless animals, slobbering over one another’s faces, fat bodies shuddering in delight.
“Crap.” Gudako muttered. She wracked her brain for something, anything. Maybe the goddesses nearby?
She shouldn’t even have bothered.
“Khh! Ereshkigal, don’t just keep staring at me like this! Do something already!” Ishtar wailed, shaking her head and whipping her twin ponytails back and forth.
It was clear that even goddesses weren't immune to this chaotic spell. Ishtar was pulled towards the ground by her new four plodding, heavy hooves. It was like they were anchors, tethered to her by the fetlocks of a draft horse. The hairs around her new ‘wrists’ swished in the air, just inches above the other goddess beneath her.
Ereshkigal, Ishtar’s blonde twin, pressed both her hands against her equine face, whinnying in distress. She couldn’t retort any Ishtar’s harsh language, now speaking through a body only capable of whinnies and neighs.
Her delicate figure had barreled out into a form better for plowing horses than taking care of the underworld, which pinned her back to the ground. Her legs thrashed about in an effort to right her, but it was clear that she was much too heavy for her own good.
In some perverse way, it was almost comical. One had lost all her limbs, the other had lost everything but. Gudako was tempted to watch the rest, but knew time was of the essence. She bolted past the cafeteria, stumbling to a halt as Circe’s voice crowed once more.
"Royalty always looks down their noses at us, don't you think? Not even a transformation would break that habit, so I just made it part of their natural state."
Sure enough, Nero wobbled on her chair, fingers curling into the thick, blonde wool that now adorned her neck. Said neck had stretched to a meter in length though, and her new height seemed to dizzy the girl.
Boudica's own neck was stretching too, though the woman had slipped on what she was cooking. As a result, her pale cheek dragged against the tile as her head was pushed away from her shoulders. The motion mussed up her red hair, though her hands were no longer capable of reaching her head to correct the damage that had been done.
Anastasia Romanov and Marie Antoinette weren't better off, bleating into each other's ears at their entwined necks stretched skyward like some wooly helix. The two held onto each other to keep their balance, but a new set of cracks in their shoulders and hips dropped them to all fours like common animals.
Gudako tore her eyes from the sight, rounding the corner and finding a trio of Servants separating her from the Command Room.
Much to her surprise, the four knights were still mostly human. Three of them were from Avalon and the fourth was a genuine fairy, though none of them were in their armor, for obvious reasons.
“It took you long enough, didn’t it?” Baobahn Sith’s pale face was creased into a frown, probably because she couldn’t wear her treasured shoes. Her legs were long, spindly, and utterly avian. Funnily enough though, it looked like she’d filed her talons while waiting—possibly not to hear the annoying sound of her ostrich claws against the ground.
Melusine, despite her draconic nature, now sported a pair of asinine ears. They were long and gray, and flicked to and fro with curious movement. Clearly her temper was influencing her change, though for now she seemed to be rather self-conscious about how much her dress was riding up her backside.
Barghest, the largest of the group, had grown even larger. Hair covered her entire body, so she’d abandoned her clothes. It looked thick and shaggy, and her new cloven hooves marked her as a yak. A long tail swished behind her backside, and she poked at the new horns atop her head.
And the last, Britomart, was covered in sweat due to a thick coat of wool across her body. “Maah-aahster! Hurry up! Maah-aahgic doesn’t work as well on us, but we don’t have long!” Her elf-like ears had swollen and drooped like any common sheep’s, and her impressively large bust now hung between her legs as a pair of dark udders.
“You guys…” Gudako smiled, taking a step towards them. Of course. She should have trusted that any Servants that were still able to fight would have made their way here. “Thanks. With you, I think we might have a chance.”
She walked past them, letting the door to the Command Room recognize her ID. It swished open quietly, revealing Circe’s smiling form. The woman was sitting atop the central command chair, and to her left and right were Da Vinci and Mash, still mercifully human… On first sight.
Now that Gudako looked closer, the two were on all fours, sniffing at Circe’s feet curiously. Their eyes were glazed, and they looked to be distinctly uncomfortable in their clothes. So much for the extra support they could have provided.
Circe smiled at the look in Gudako’s eyes, though the expression faltered at the sight of the four Servants behind her Master. “Oh, Master… Did I not tell you this party was invitation-only?”
The four knights clutched at their bodies, falling to the ground in a writhing pile. Despite all their strength, they stood about as much of a chance as a snowflake on a summer’s day. Feathers and fur burst from bodies that were no longer suited for standing, much less combat.
They might have tried to call out words of denial, or perhaps even encouragement. Instead, the only sounds were guttural cries of animal sorrow. These cries lost any passing resemblance to speech as the women’s minds faded, leaving only dumb beasts behind.
Gudako tried to keep her emotions from her face, but it was hard not to be disappointed. It was safe to say that Da Vinci and Mash were useless in their current states, so that left sharp language as the only tool she had left. Still… Maybe it was worth a shot.
“Circe! Stop this right now, you birdbrain!” Gudako called out, taking a step forward. “You clearly want to talk about this, so let’s talk.”
Circe laughed, kicking her legs. “Oh, you misunderstand my intent. You see, I really just wanted to watch you change in person.”
“Eh?” Gudako blinked, off-guard.
“Didn’t you wonder why I kept these two human? Piglet, I’m going to change them the same way as you, won't that be fun? It’s much more fun that way.”
“I… I wouldn’t know.” Gudako laughed nervously, desperately wracking her mind for options.
“You will soon.” Circe gestured, and the two women on the ground started to squeal and moan, clothes stretching tight over their fattening bodies.
Gudako shuddered, pawing at a chest that was suddenly soft, swollen, and above all, heavy. Her muscles ached from the effort of standing alone, and even pressing her hands against her bulging belly was a workout on its own.
That discomfort was nothing compared to the feeling of her clothes tightening around her body. Her juicy thighs spilled past her tights, and her navel poked past the waistband of her skirt. “Circe, please!” She gasped from the sensation of her face itself having weight. Her cheeks were round and swollen, ready to gorge herself on some nice, fattening slop…
No! She couldn’t think like that! Gudako screwed her eyes shut, shaking her head from left to right to clear her thoughts. The motion made her new fat shudder, and suddenly it was like trying to stand on a ship’s deck in the middle of a storm. Worse still, just shaking her head had stretched her ears, to the point where they flapped against her orange hair.
“Aaah!” She fell onto her belly with an embarrassingly loud plop of skin on tile. The motion was violent enough to burst her strained clothes—and to smack her nose against the floor. It was painful for one sharp second. The next, it was cool as her nostrils lifted, upturning and pressing against the ground.
Some new muscles must have formed in her nose as well, because she found herself snuffling at it, her fat pink nose twitching constantly in her peripheral vision. When she looked up, she saw that her two friends sported distinctly porcine faces of their own.
The soft shade of their skin was replaced by the mottled pink of a sow’s hide, and Gudako shuddered at the nightmarish thought of that happening to her own reflection. She could picture it vividly, thanks to how each splotch felt like someone tracing a brush against her skin.
She had just one option left: the nuclear option. Normally, Gudako would never dream of trying to use her magic to force a Servant to her will. Even if faced with-death, she’d trust her Servants. Except… This wasn’t just death. It was life, an entire life as a fat, cozy, happy, mindless sow who… No!
“Circe!” Gudako looked up, hiccupping as a snort made its way through her enlarged sinuses. “Hrrnk! By my Command hhhkguh!” Her order was interrupted by the very forceful sensation of her lower jaw growing a pair of tusks.
It didn’t hurt, even though she could feel her jaw rearranging to accommodate tusks that would leave her with a moronic underbite. In a way, it would be better if it did. Having her body rearrange itself like this without any unpleasant feeling was in its own way a nightmare. This horror felt natural.
“Ooh, what was that? Piglet wants a bowl of kykeon?” Circe chuckled. She traced a circle in the air, a magical sigil glowing in the sky beneath her touch. A steaming bowl of kykeon dropped from it into her palm, and she placed it on the ground.
The two pig-minded women that had been Da Vinci and Mash pawed towards it, but an invisible barrier kept them from ever reaching the bowl. “Ah-ah… This one’s for Piglet. You two will need to wait your turn.”
Gudako was so glad that Circe did that for her. No, wait. Horrified. She had to be horrified. Even though her fat belly was so empty…
She struggled with her new thoughts, fingers and toes twitching as they clumped into cute trotters. No, ugly trotters. Wait… Did she always think pigs were cute? Honestly, she might have… Especially boars. No!
“By my Commaahnn!” A curly, corkscrew-like tail spiraled out from her backside. She could feel the tugging at her spine, new joints clicking into place. Each one brought with it new nerves, that only sang of pleasure.
Gudako’s fat body was getting warm, in a very good sort of way. It was nice, too nice. She pressed herself against the ground, rolling slightly from left to right and feeling more of that cool floor against her everything.
“What? By your what?” The goddess looked down at her victim with interest. “You know, you could choose to use that Command Seal on me. Who knows? I might even turn everyone back to normal. Or… You could, quite literally, pig out.”
The pun was clever, but most of it was lost on Gudako. The very mention of food left her slavering. Thanks to her tusks, her still-human face couldn’t quite close her jaw. So, soon she began to drag herself towards the food, drunk on the smell of it. “Buh… By… Buhhuhuh…”
Her head was aching. It was her skill, reshaping around her brain. Pressing against it. Squishing it smooth. She couldn’t think about that. Gudako had to focus.
There was something she had to do. She had to remember what it was. It was important.
Gudako dipped her head towards the bowl, clumsily shoving her face into it. A bit of kykeon splashed past the barrier, and the other pigs in the room happily licked the splashes off the floor. It tasted better than ever. And the texture… It was nice, smooth, and pleasant on the tongue and her throat.
But that wasn’t what she had to do. She had to save the other pigs. Other… Pigs? No, that wasn’t quite right, was it. She had to… To remember. It was important.
She moaned, face stretching to taste more of that delicious kykeon. She swished it around in her mouth, feeling it against her cheeks. It was good. Really good. She had to eat more of it. “Hughhhuhhrnnk… Grroink…” She shuddered at the sound. It made her fat jiggle. That felt nice.
But she had… Remember… Save… Remember?
The pig didn’t know what it was that was bothering her. Maybe that there wasn’t enough food. But her owner dropped another, bigger bowl in front of her, and that felt better. The air felt stranger around her, and suddenly two other pigs were snorting against her, pressing their noses against her cheeks insistently.
“Do you like that? I gave them back their minds for the next minute. Who knows? Maybe they’ll remind you to turn them back. But I think my sweet Piglet likes my cooking too, too much.”
The pig heard the words. She felt the motions of her other pigs, how one bumped at her fat flank and the other licked at her right trotter insistently, like something was on it. For just a moment, a glimmer of Gudako resurfaced. “Buh… Brhhrrnt… Bghhuyyy muh… Kummmannn… Duhhh…”
Then her appetite overtook her, and she plunged her face back into the dish, playing her tongue along its smooth surface. The other pigs seemed to be upset by this. Maybe they were jealous. She didn’t care. This was good. It tasted good and it felt good.
“And so much for this Chaldea. But, thanks to that wonderful observation software of yours, I’ve learned that our universe isn’t the only one…” Circe spoke to the two pigs that could understand her, watching as they panicked; then began to hunger as their thoughts slowed. “Wouldn’t it be nice to spread this fun everywhere?”
Her only reply was loud chomping as they joined their former Master, clumsily licking the bowl, the floor, and each other’s faces. Their only concern now was food, not their changed friends, not the rest of humanity, and certainly not any other worlds soon to fall under the Caster’s spell.
