(F to Chicken to Egg)

“Of course, you all must be mystified! You must be amazed!” Brooke Spiralheart gestured with both hands, cackling as her latest volunteer lowed like a cow, working his jaw mindlessly. “Behold, the powers of hypnotic magic, and quail in terror!”

It was all a show, and it was a poor one at that. Chess crinkled her freckled nose, watching the charlatan from a safe seat in the audience. In truth, she didn’t know why the average human attended these sorts of shows. If only they knew about just how much magic there truly was in this world…

Chess turned her head with a bored sigh. On the bright side, it wasn’t particularly offensive to her. She had no real qualms with the hypnotist, despite the woman’s gaudy performance. After all, it wasn’t like she’d directly insulted Chess.

“Could anyone possibly challenge such power? I think not! Even the vaunted witches of old are little more than livestock before my attentions!”

Before Chess realized what was going on, she’d found herself on her feet. Her nose crinkled as she scowled, and she looked to the hypnotist in anger. “I beg your pardon?” She called, a little too loudly.

“Ah, it seems my web has snared a fly! So, dear audience member… Do you take exception to my claims? Perhaps you think that there exists a magic more powerful than my own?”

The audience, little more than gullible sheep, murmured in delighted expectation. Chess looked to them with a sudden distaste for the mortals around her, and she lifted a hand. “You all want to see magic? Then perhaps it’s time to show you some real power.”

With that, a glimmering fireball lifted from her hand. It split midair, and the separate orbs flitted downwards towards the nearest dozen unlucky humans. The flames didn’t scorch them, though it did have quite the spectacular effect.

Hands coalesced into dark and cloven hooves, male and female chins alike grew thick ruffs of fur, and horns burst from heads. Udders lifted shirts, tails dropped trousers, and necks slowly stretched from shoulders. People flailed and squirmed as their bodies cracked and popped, reforming into those better befitting of common goats.

In seconds, families were split and friends were parted, as people became animals at Chess’s behest. She smirked widely as screams of panic burst from around her, then tutted with an arrogant disdain. “Oh, relax. This is only temporary, probably,” she added the last part sotto voce. “The thing that should all amaze you is that I happen to be a far more powerful witch than the sham on stage.”

Much to Chess’s surprise, Brooke didn’t seem surprised in the slightest. Instead, the attractive blonde clapped with a slow, deliberately taunting round of applause. That should have served as some sort of warning, but Chess’s fiery blood was up, and she was ready to show off her true power.

“Really, little witch, I would recommend you go home,” Brooke yawned. “You might think yourself a mistress of reality, but you’d be nothing up here on my stage.”

Chess stormed through the ranks of bleating nanny goats around herself, not once breaking eye contact with the hypnotist on stage. “You think you can handle a real witch, you fraud? All right, then. Let’s go.” Chess marched up to Brooke, jabbing a finger at the woman’s chest. “But when you fail, I’m going to turn you into a dumb little hen, squawking her brains out.”

“A hen, hm?” Brooke leaned back, her curiosity piqued. “Well, that’s quite the idea. I must say, you witches always have the most brilliant imaginations. Perhaps that’s what makes it so easy to get inside your head. And, in case you doubt my talents, why don’t we begin by taking away your ability to speak or cast spells?”

Chess opened her mouth to retort, her brow furrowed. “…” She managed, before her eyes widened. She quickly waved her hands, but not so much as a spark left her fingers. “… … …” She continued to try to scream, panic entering her gaze as her fingers flitted towards her throat.

“Aw, what’s the matter? Hynotist got your tongue? Don’t worry, I’ll give it back…” Brooke mimed tossing something invisible at Chess’s face, undisguised glee spread across her features.

“BUCK-GWAK!” Chess protested loudly. “Poc? Poc-poc-poc-GAW! BUCKGAW!” she glared even harder at the hypnotist, who’d stolen her voice and replaced it with the words of a chicken. Worse, it wasn’t even a true avian cry. Instead, it sounded exactly as though Chess was trying to imitate a hen.

“Ooh, she’s quite the impressionist! But… Can she act as well as she talks?”

“BUCK-BUCK-BUCKAW!” Chess lifted a leg, tucking her hands under her arms and flapping them like an imbecile. Inwardly, she fumed. This was the most embarrassing experience she’d had in her entire life, made only worse that it had been instigated by a mere mortal.

Slowly, the mutters of the crowd began to turn to laughter and applause. The mortals below Chess were actually buying into what Brooke was swelling, and they thought that it was all part of the act. Even the goats were simmering down, slowly chewing at their former clothing as they looked up to Chess.

“Oh, my mistake. I suppose that’s a bit of a spoiler, isn’t it?” Brooke gasped, acting as though she was surprised. “After all, you’ll soon be waddling out of here with farm-fresh hips.”

Chess’s eyes bulged with panic, and she backed away from the hypnotist with growing alarm. Was the woman secretly a witch? Was she going to transform Chess and leave her as nothing more than a common barnyard beast?

“No, I’m not magic,” Brooke tutted boredly, “though I have been through this situation over a dozen times already.”

Chess breathed a quiet sigh of relief. On the bright side, it seemed like this might not be the lasting curse that she’d been afraid of. On the less-than-bright side, it seemed that she’d be humiliated before a crowd. At least it was nothing that a little bit of magic couldn’t fix. Rest assured, Brooke would become the lowest of animals by the end of this.

“And, let me tell you, there’s nothing quite as fun as having a woman’s magic turn on herself…” Brooke mused aloud, looking deep into Chess’s eyes. “After all, you witches are the basest of creatures. And if I make you feel arousal as you transform, you simply can’t help yourselves.”

“GWAK?” Chess’s eyes bulged, then rolled back in her head as the most incredible bliss she’d felt in her life coursed through herself. Her thighs clamped together, and one of her hands trailed between her legs.

She could feel it through every nerve of her body, the telltale tingle of awakened ecstasy. The witch whimper-squawked in denial, but her hands were already questing across her supple body, feeling it begin to bulge and ripple with change.

“Oh, and of course, you’re allowed to speak again. Though… I don’t quite think I want you casting spells other than the one you’re using to change your body,” Brooke mused. She pushed between Chess’s breasts, toppling the woman onto her backside.

“Buck-guck-FUCK! Fuck me!” Chess panted feverishly, groaning as she writhed on the ground. Her ass swelled, lifting her ever so slightly.

“Hm, no thanks. Unlike some of you witches, I’m not so into laying with animals. Though… I’d imagine that soon you’ll be squawking for a rooster.”

Chess wanted to deny her, but she knew that she was utterly at Brooke’s mercy. The only kindness that Brooke seemed to have was the fact that Chess’s mind was still totally intact… Though she wasn’t sure how kind that truly was. After all, a chicken couldn’t feel the humiliation that coursed through Chess’s mind.

She shuddered as feathers slipped from her skin, small quills that soon grew tufts of silky down. It was like a lover’s gentle caress over every inch of her skin, and brought a wail of agonized pleasure from the embarrassed witch.

Magic worked so much better when fueled by lust. It was the basis of many of Chess’s spells, and now she knew how it felt firsthand. It was the strangest combination of pleasure and humiliation, a sinfully good temptation driving her to lose more and more of herself.

“Please! Stop!” Chess forced, from between stiffening lips. She opened and closed her mouth, and her lips began to click and clack thanks to their hardening skin. The sound sent chills running along her spine, even as that too began to reshape.

Chess soon found her position on her backside to be uncomfortable beyond belief, thanks to her spine taking on a new curve. She struggled to find a more comfortable position, her arms flapping madly in the process. As they moved, they began to shrink and curl, her muscles forcing them to tuck inwards like a chickens’ wings.

“Stop? Why would I ever bother to stop, when we’re both having so much fun?” Brooke laughed mercilessly, watching as Chess’s legs kicked and spasmed. The witch’s thighs bulged, rippled, and swelled. At the same time, her calves compressed and thinned, becoming the spindly lower legs of a hen.

Chess wailed as her shapely legs lost more and more of their defined tone. Her shoes slipped from her thinning feet, revealing that her toes were growing large and spindly. “Klease!” She whimpered, realizing that her beak could no longer pronounce certain letters. “Stawk this, I geen it!”

Still, the merciless pleasure only mounted. Chess groaned, her wings fluttering at a shirt that had begun to billow over her dwindling frame. She a let out as loud of a whimper as she could, though her throat was pinching and clenching, losing its ability to speak.

“Guckgaw! Kuh! Kwak!” She warbled. Her head compressed and flattened, skull shrinking around her brain, further heightening her humiliation. Slowly, her eyes started to slide to the sides of her head, spreading her vision into prey-sight typical of an animal at the bottom of the food chain.

“Aw, where did all of that high-and-mighty superiority go?” Brooke crooned, reaching down and pulling the loose clothing from over Chess’s body. “Guess you don’t need this anymore, since you don’t have breasts… Or, at least, not the kind of breasts you’re used to having.”

Chess warbled, looking down to her chest and seeing nothing but an expanse of white feathers. Her wings fluttered, her orange and calloused legs kicked, and she kicked her skirt away from her body. It was her last article of human clothing, since the witch wasn’t overly fond of underwear, and it let the audience see her as little more than a common hen.

“Poor thing…” Brooke crooned, stroking below Chess’s chin and chuckling as the witch moaned in avian ecstasy. A large, warm, fleshy wattle flopped uselessly below Chess’s head. “But what’s a show without a little fun for everyone? So… You have a simple deal: you can now change yourself back. But if you lay an egg before then, you’ll be stuck as a hen forever.”

Chess seized the opportunity, closing her eyes and trying not to squawk as she concentrated on restoring her beautiful form. However, she should have known that it wouldn’t be that easy.

“Of course… If you happen to lay that egg… You’ll also feel even more pleasure, more than your pitiful magical mind could ever comprehend.”

“GWAKGAW!?” Chess wailed, muscles clenching in her groin. Her eyelids fluttered, concentration breaking. She could feel everything slowly slipping away, her world building quickly to a pleasure unlike any other.

Chess wasn’t sure of anything, wasn’t sure if she hated this or loved it, and for that she detested herself. More than that, she loathed Brooke beyond any hatred she’d felt in her life. She looked up through her beady eyes, glaring at the hypnotist.

Then the egg crowned, and Chess found she had no room for anything in her world save for orgasmic relief. It wasn’t even fully laid, and already her stretched hole sang with carnal delight. “GWAK! HAAH! KUHKAW!” Chess wailed, realizing that this was it, this was the end of her being.

For all of her arrogance, and all of her power, in the end she had become little more than a dumb hen.

The egg clattered to the ground, and her mind went blank. Her body’s eyes glazed stupidly, and a thin trail of drool began to drip down her yellow beak. Then her avian mind reasserted itself, and the little hen on stage began idly tapping her beak against the stage’s floor.

That wasn’t the end of Chess’s story, though. Awareness began to return to her, and she felt herself awash in a swirling, milky void. She couldn’t move, though she was sure her body was corporeal. It was the strangest sensation, of being lost to a void, of being encased in…

Her conscience panicked, as she realized where she was. She was submerged in yolk, trapped in the very egg she’d laid. As if to confirm this, the hen that her body had become laid atop her, smothering Chess’s egg body with her feathered rump.

“And there we have it!” Brooke called, from beyond the confines of Chess’s body. It sounded as though her voice came from across an ocean. “Thank you all for coming tonight! Please, gather your belongings, and in some cases your goats, and have a wonderful day!”

Warm, soft hands slipped around Chess’s eggshell, and she quailed in terror. Would this be the end? Would she be cast onto the ground, and left splattered onto a stage? She tried to plead for her life, realizing the irony that others had done the same with her.

“Don’t worry,” Brooke whispered, her lips inches from Chess’s white shell. “You’ll be left to hatch in due time. It’s the funniest thing, you know… Witches, if left in animal form, have a tendency to revert. But, if you strand them in a body birthed from their original form… Well, there’s no coming back from that.”

Chess sloshed inside her shell, the only response her yolky form was capable of.

“And, after you hatch… Well, that’ll be it for your little brain. Human minds weren’t meant to live within animal bodies, and yours will be no exception. So enjoy the time you have left, little hen. Whether you sink into despair or rage that you were bested by a mortal, I couldn’t care less.”
