A PaigeMeMore Story

(Woman to Cavewoman)

Paige sighed, concentrating on the rune in front of herself. She was a witch-in-training, but that didn’t stop her from trying to compete with the best. And today, the best happened to be giving a livestream on magical potential. Witch.tv was such a good resource that Paige could scarcely believe it existed. Then again, it was a closely guarded secret for a reason.

“You see,” MorganaSparkles began, a twinkle in her eye that Paige was sure wasn’t just a trick of the camera, “my secret is that for the really complicated spells, I dial myself back a bit.”

Paige nodded sagely, as though that made sense. She felt a little silly for doing so, but had the impression from the witch’s expressions that she was able to see each and every one of her audience members.

“You might be wondering what age regression has to do with non-curse magic. But actually… It’s not quite age regression. Rather, this is a specialty of mine I’d like to call ‘period regression’.” MorganaSparkles allowed a moment of silence before continuing. “Now that the immature warlocks from Denmark have stopped giggling, let’s go into what that means.”

Paige felt a brief exultant moment of pride at guessing correctly. The witch really was able to look at her audience. “This is so cool!” She breathed, cupping her hands like Nicole and Victoria had showed her. She thought of warm sun and the mechanical clicking of roller coasters, the laughter of children and the hissing of ride pneumatics. Disney was her happy place, and so it made for an excellent magical locus.

The irony that she drew her power from thoughts of the Magic Kingdom hadn’t escaped her, nor had the potency of such strong feelings.

“Okay, so I’ll need you all to channel some energy. While you do that, I’ll set a tether to each of my viewers. No matter what you do, where you are, who you are, ten minutes after this livestream ends you’ll return to your original form.” MorganaSparkles smirked. “Just a little precaution, because my ‘learn to fly’ video ended with a few birds waking up miles away.

Paige was well ahead of her, so she took a few moments to savor the glowing magical aura in her hands. It was clumsy and uneven, akin to a child’s clay sculpture beside the Statue of David. Still, it was hers nonetheless, and she was proud of it.

“Now… I need you to feel nostalgic. I know this might sound funny, but it works. You’ll need to follow my lead here, so close your eyes and think about a fond childhood memory. But—and there is a but—you’ll still be you, as you are now. Be very careful with this, okay?”

Paige nodded, concentrating on the teacup rides she loved so much. They were so fun to spin and whirl about in, and she enjoyed the feeling of whirling about in one over and over and over. Back then she had pigtails, and they…

Paige was aware of her clothing growing looser on her body, and she quickly refocused on her current hairstyle. That was close, she’d nearly turned this into an age regression spell… Which, given the amused chuckle from the Witch streamer, a few others had already succumbed to. Paige felt her body return to her natural height, breasts filling a bra that had loosened ever so slightly.

“Okay, so now that the babies in the class are off in La-La Land, let’s continue. Take that feeling of nostalgia, and pretend that you’re in another time. To be safe, you could pretend that you’re in the eighties, or the Roaring Twenties. Or… You could be like me, and throw yourself back to the Middle Ages.”

Paige nodded slowly, starting safe. She could feel her hairdo shifting on her head, her clothes lengthening to a proper dress. In seconds, she was a model Stepford Housewife, and had to fight the urge to grab a vacuum. After all, why use a vacuum when a quick cleaning spell would scour the worst of her bathroom grease?

“Hey, focus all of you! Don’t lose yourself to the period you’ve settled on. I can see that already a few of you are doing the Charleston, so cut it out.”

Paige opened her eyes to find unmistakably medieval royalty looking at her. MorganaSparkles had lost her soft features in favor of a high-cheekboned structure, with a full bosom and wider hips. Her arms looked a bit shorter, and she spoke with the faint tinge of an accent. “The farther back you go, the more magical you become. There’s a reason the time of miracles is long past, and that’s because of the spread of our arts. There’s only so much to go around.”

Paige nodded slowly, returning her thoughts to the theme park. This time, she did her best to think of the Feudal Era, of knights and scaled dragons. Her thoughts lingered on the latter for a fraction too long, and she felt a tugging at her navel.

“Oh. It looks like a few of you are going for a ride.” The streamer chuckled.

Paige furrowed her brow in confusion, wondering what the woman was getting at. Her hair grew thicker and a bit unkempt, and she picked at it idly. Her nails coarsened slightly, and she leaned forwards towards the lit screen, hanging on the woman’s next words.

“Don’t worry, I’m told this is going to be a bit of a hit.” The Light Woman spoke through the glowing glass, and Payge blinked in confusion.

She didn’t really understand what the woman meant… Or why she looked so strange. The redhead tousled out her thick mane of hair, grunting slowly as she struggled to piece together Light Woman’s words. “Bit… Uhf… Hitt?”

“Hittuh.” Payguh slapped one fist into her hand, jiggling her swelling breasts and thighs. She was getting thicker all around, a pleasingly plump appearance hiding the muscle of her new body. She smiled as she caught onto the meaning of Light Woman’s mouth-noises, even if she didn’t know how she was supposed to use them.

“Metaphors are a bit beyond you, hm? Oh, so’s that.” Light Woman quirked her lips into a sad face, and the redhead mimicked her action, whimpering softly. Then Light Woman perked up, and so did she. “Oh! Wait, how about this. No worry about you dumb.”

Piguh crinkled her broadening nose, an unexpected bit of irritation coursing through her body. She knew not to hit Light Woman, that would be bad. Instead, she beat her fists on the ground beside her. “No dumdum! Pugh smar!” She protested, her swelling lips settling into a pout. At the same time, her belly swelled to a faint paunch that would tell any male nearby she was ready for child.

Light Woman made more of that happy sound, before making some soothing mouth noises. Pugh not understand what Light Woman mean, but Pugh happied still. Pugh smar, best in tribe. Pugh good.

The cavewoman stared with a dimwitted smile into the vacant distance, picking at her big toe. She faintly remembered wearing more than her loincloth, but knew that wasn’t right. Then she remembered there was nums in the coldspace, and she lazily rose to her feet. “Pugh nums.” She grunted, oafishly shambling her way there.

Eight minutes later, she’d wake up amidst a veritable food catastrophe, a piece of ham between her breasts to warm it, and another still trailing from her mouth.
