(People to Various Film and Television Characters)
Jake blushed, swirling the Transfun in his hand. If everything went well, this was going to be a great night that would hopefully bring him and Carly a little closer together. He anxiously looked up to the girl, wondering how he’d go about asking her out after.
Or rather… He’d ask her out the day they changed back. Unless she spoke Wookie, it might be a little hard for him to communicate with her… Especially since she’d be changing into She-Hulk.
Indeed, these potions were a part of TransFun’s ‘What’s Copyright Infringement’ line, a special series for Halloween that would change the user and their clothing to match appropriately with their serum. It was a way to boost costume and potion sales, and Jake and his friends had bought into it almost immediately.
Carly had no idea about Jake’s intentions, but she was eager to change into She-Hulk. It was more than a little exciting to have the strength of a superhero… Or whatever watered-down version of strength that TransFun would provide for a night of safe fun. She doubted they’d let her drink and run the risk of chucking a car or two.
Tim and Sandra simply chuckled to one another, wrapped in each other’s arms like usual on the couch. Instead of their matching costumes, they’d decided to go as characters from their favorite movies. Naturally, that meant Tim would be going as Groot from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and Sandra would be going as Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
That left Kevin and Wendy, two animation students who were friends-and nothing else, not that they minded. Kevin would be changing into Scooby-Doo, and Wendy would be Ursula. They’d planned to do it as part of a project, changing into their characters to better understand how to draw them.
“Bottoms up!” The two artists cheered, looking to the quartet of friend with smiles on their faces. They downed the drinks in one go, shuddering as the telltale signs of change began to sweep across their body.
“Hgh!” Kevin panted slightly, fanning at himself. “Man, I forgot how hot fur is…” He looked down to his chest, watching as his shirt began to grow a thick coat of brown fur that soon merged with his skin. The little hairs itched like crazy, and he scratched at them while he could before his hands became paws.
Wendy chuckled as her belly began to bloat, her clothes stretching as she grew, changing into a form-fitting dress. She’d privately dreaded the much-feared muffin top, and was glad to see that her changing clothes would keep that from happening.
Then her legs split again and again, and she wobbled unsurely, her chubby body jiggling. “Whoa! Should’ve become something with tentacles before trying this…” The girl blushed, struggling to right her balance.
The rest of the group took their potions to echo their friend’s performances, though it soon became apparent that their changes wouldn’t be going as smoothly.
Jake noticed it first, his chest aching with a sensation that most assuredly wasn’t the growth of fur. “Wh-whoa!” He groaned, looking down and gasping as he caught sight of a pair of massive breasts swelling out from his masculine body.
“Roike, I’m pretty sure Chewbacca’s not supposed to have those.” Kevin chuckled, his voice beginning to shift to the goofier tone of a cartoon character. He chuckled as his face slowly stretched out into a muzzle, his nose flattening out and becoming dark and spongy.
“OH MY GOD!” Carly shrieked, and all eyes in the room turned to her. The answer of who got the Wookie serum was made evident then and there: she was hairier than Kevin was. With her body yet to grow into it, she almost looked like she was becoming Cousin It from the Addams Family.
“This can’t be happening, I dAAWWARRGH!” The girl clutched at her throat as her speech degenerated into roars and growls befitting an alien. The fur hung heavily on her entire body, and she could feel it swaying with every motion she made. Worse, it meant that she was technically naked in front of her friends, assuming that a bandolier didn’t count as clothing.
“I… I think I switched up the potions.” Jake blushed as he-as she spoke, a distinct feeling in her groin marking the switch from male to female. She moaned as her ass swelled larger and larger, giving her an figure that hourglasses would envy.
“You am telling Groot. I fam Groot.” Sandra shook his head, smiling. At least… Sandra assumed that he was a he. It was a little hard to tell with all the branches and the bark, but he definitely wasn’t a ‘she’ anymore.
Sandra looked down to his hands, grimacing slightly as bark covered them from his wrists to his fingertips. That was a mildly unnerving sensation, but one that soon didn’t so much as niggle at the back of his mind. It was like he had been born into this body, and could control it as naturally as breathing. The wooden hands Sandra now sported were more natural to him than a pair of gloves would be.
“GARWAAARGH!” Carly whimpered, pawing at his own groin. He could feel that, and it was something that he’d never thought to experience. First: he’d never switched genders before, and the new experience was something entirely out of this world. Second: Chewbacca was apparently very, VERY well-endowed.
He blushed at the attention he was getting from his cries, though nobody could see it through the thick fur that covered his cheeks. The Wookie began to grow taller in time with Sandra, and soon the two former girls towered above the others.
Not that Tim seemed to mind. “Man, you know… It kinda sucks that I’m becoming the wrong kind of green. I wanted Groot, not Gamora…” The former man, now more She-Hulk than her old form, flexed her hand before her face. “Though that being said… I think that this could be a change for the better.”
Tim had been ready for super strength when she’d chosen the Groot serum. At the time, she’d thought nothing of Carly’s choice to become another superhero, assuming that Groot was stronger. How very, very wrong Tim had been.
The green-skinned woman tossed her flowing green hair behind herself, humming as her clothes shifted to the white-and-purple costume of her character. “Now… Let’s see what this body can do.”
She wasn’t fully changed, but she was already feeling like she could lift a minivan packed with bricks and still have room for more. Tim walked to the couch, cupping one hand under it and heaving it into the air as easily as she’d have lifted a football.
“Daaamn… I’ll need you around when I move.” Wendy said, her hair lightening to a snow white. Her skin lost its creamy shade in favor of a dark purple that spread across her body like ink. She beat all of her tentacles against the ground with amusement, loving how the suckers caught faintly on the linoleum.
“Assuming, of course, that you wouldn’t mind another mix-up!” She cackled, tossing her head back and letting loose a laugh worthy of the Disney villainess she was becoming. Her chins jiggled as she laughed, and she made a mental note of that for her art project.
“I certainly would!” Jake pouted, looking down to her shirt and jeans, watching as they merged together to create a long, flowing red dress. “I mean… I’m not the kind of person who wants to look like a fetish all the time.”
Her hair brightened to a fiery red as she spoke, soon hanging over her right eye. She blinked and tried to toss her head to clear her vision, but the hair stubbornly returned back over, like an eyepatch. The woman blushed and wrapped her gloved hands around the hair, trying to tuck it into place, but it was like playing tug-of-war with a tank.
In the end, she simply pouted and batted her long eyelashes, consigning herself to seeing with only one eye. It wasn’t like this body wasn’t used to it, already the instincts were settling in as to how she should live with a distinct lack of depth perception.
Kevin, meanwhile, simply sniggered at his friends in the way that only Scooby-Do could. He wagged his growing tail, slumping down onto all fours as an invisible hand pressed on his back, keeping him from rising to a bipedal posture.
He didn’t mind, especially not when his friends were busy panicking about what they were becoming. “Rike, that’s why you don’t pick Jake with these things!” He toonishly giggled, watching the girls lose their femininity and the guys gain it in spades.
The dog let his tongue loll from his mouth, making a mental note to change into this again… And probably again after that, too. Something that always bothered him about canine changes was how he wasn’t able to hold a proper conversation, namely when he wanted treats or belly rubs. This looked like it would fix that.
“Come here, dear.” Wendy cooed to Kevin, and the dog turned and barked in surprise as she scooped him up in her tentacles, petting him with them and giving him a belly rub with two hands and three tentacles at the same time. It was a heaven that humans weren’t capable of giving a dog and Kevin simply melted in her hands.
“That’s right, my good boy. Let’s just watch our little friends change all the way into these new and fascinating forms!” She laughed loudly and mockingly, easily slipping into the role.
“I am Groot.” Sandra pouted, his nose sinking back into the hard bark of his face. His hair fell out in clumps as his scalp became a treelike bark as well, and he stretched his body with the sound of creaking wood.
He hadn’t expected this alien body to be so… Well, alien. This form was strange to him, powerful but not overly so. He could feel the ability to grow new limbs and sprout small leaves from his form, but he kept them at bay for fear of messing up the house. Still, the knowledge that he could do such things was…
“I am Groot!” His train of thought cut off almost immediately as his boyfriend lifted him into the air.
“Oh, come on honey!” Tim laughed, her feminine voice laced with mirth. “You know how much you always wanted to be the one on top!”
The superheroine realized her mistake an instant later, as vines swirled around her body, binding her and clamping her mouth shut. She probably should have remembered that Sandra was the sort of person to get really embarrassed by things like that… And also the kind of person to act on impulse.
“GAAARGH!” Carly groaned, feeling the last of his body change from human to Wookie. There was a small bit of relief to be had there, the strength of his body letting him come to Tim’s aid. He pulled at the vines, breaking them with an ease that he’d expected of his original form.
“I am Groot.” Sandra looked to Carly, outraged by the motion. He was more than a little upset by his friend’s evident betrayal.
“GWWAARGL!” Carly replied eloquently, tilting his shaggy head and pointing to Tim. It wasn’t his fault that Tim had wound up with She-Hulk. Carly always had a soft spot for the character, and he wouldn’t let anyone bully her!
“I am Groot!”
“BBUWWARRGH!”
“I am Groot!”
Jake tried to follow the exchange, but it was a little out of her vocabulary. She sighed and sashayed her hips, looking down to her form with a pout. It wasn’t that she had anything against Jessica Rabbit, but she’d also hoped to become an alien, and not a damsel of distress.
“Yeah, I know what you mean. Women, right? Especially when they’re men.” Tim walked beside the redhead, patting her on the back and nearly fracturing three of her vertebrae in the process. Luckily, toons were quick healers-though that didn’t help Jake’s bruised ego.
“Hey, hands to yourself!” Jake yelped loudly, blushing as all eyes in the room turned to her.
“Yeah, about that… You’re the one who mixed up these drinks, right? Got anything to say?” Tim continued, looking at Jake dubiously.
She had a point. Tim had become She-Hulk, Jake had become Jessica Rabbit, Carly had become Chewbacca, and Sandra had become Groot… Because of her. Maybe Kevin and Emily were right not to trust her with the potions…
“Um...” Jake breathed huskily, her plump lips quivering as she looked back to her friends. Of course Kevin and Wendy were still laughing at them-probably at Jake, given how often the redhead kept glancing down to her massive rack.
“Listen, I am just so sorry…” She looked up to the Wookie she had a crush on, only to yelp as Carly wrapped his furry, long arms around her. It was a hug worthy of Chewbacca himself, and was accompanied by a warbling bellow that left Jake with a faint ringing in her ears.
“Uhm… I take it that means there’s no need to apologize?” Jake blushed, shifting in place and swaying her ample hips from side to side.
“I am Groot.” Sandra replied from the side, his branchlike arms around the green-skinned beauty who could suplex him if she so wanted to.
“I was just screwing with you earlier, by the way, no hard feelings. And Groot here means yes. I’m pretty sure.” Tim chuckled, patting her girlfriend’s strong arms. “Though even if it doesn’t, I think I speak for both of us now. No offense honey, but these muscles aren’t going to settle for second best.”
Sandra took exception to that, his brow lifting. He knew that now that Tim was fully changed, she could bench him in an instant… Though he wouldn’t make it easy on her. “I am Groot.”
“Yes, I know that She-Hulk’s not in the MCU yet, but-hey, what do you mean that makes her inferior? You take that back!”
Jake laughed with relief, blushing as Carly took her hand in his furry one. She looked to the Wookie, who snuffled back, and in that moment an unspoken energy coursed between them. It looked like tonight really would be a Halloween to remember.
