A Fire Emblem Transformation Story

(Women to Various)

“Welcome one, welcome all! To… The Mighty Mikaeus’s Hypnotism Show!” The man spread his arms wide, a cocksure smile on his face that faltered as he caught sight of his disinterested crowd. The Ylissean women didn’t seem to be too interested in his words, much to his consternation.

There were five of them, members of the so-called Shepherds. In a way, it was a little ironic that they were called such, given that they’d soon be in dire need of shepherds of their own. Of course, that was getting ahead of himself.

The man stood atop an outdoor stage, he and his five spectators the only people in these woods. It was a private show, yet it was clearly also one that at least one of the women had no interest in watching.

“We’re here to fight, you know.” Flavia, the leader of the bunch, spoke with a tilt of her head. “Apparently someone’s causing a ruckus in these parts, and given that you’re the only one here…” She had an impressively large sword slung across her back, though she’d yet to draw it.

Mikaeus shook his head, his dark locks bouncing with the motion. “Fighting? No, let’s have none of that! I’m here for magic!” His grin widened in a distinctly predatory fashion.

“You do realize that magic isn’t some common thing for parlor tricks, right?” A raven-haired woman scoffed, rolling her eyes. She was Tharja, the resident dark mage. Plegian, given the look of her dark clothing and her straight hair. Also a problem, given her scornful words. “Perhaps you should study the dark arts…”

“Oh, look at that. A Plegian who worships shadows. What a surprise.” Mikaeus looked to her with an idle scowl before flicking his hand towards her. “Little sheep, perhaps you should watch your tone. I perform hypnosis. Magic is something a Plegian hooker does for money... Something I’d assume you’re familiar with.”

All eyes in went to Tharja, then to him, then to her again. She was shuddering in place, and the gathered women worried that she might hex the night’s entertainment. Then the pale woman opened her mouth.

“Baa-aaa-aah!” Tharja’s eyes were as wide as the rest of theirs. She didn’t mean to make that sound, she meant to curse him and punish him for his arrogant “BAAAHAAAH!” She bleated louder, thoughts scattering and eyes glazing.

Arrogant… Arro… Grass… Hungry… She was hungry sheep, needed food… The woman dropped onto all fours, a vacant look in her eyes as she lowered her head to the grass, taking chomping bites of the greenery.

“HAW!” Sully snorted derisively, the redhead looking to the grazing woman. “Hey, whatever the hell ya did, be sure to give me some pointers! I could stand to shut her up from time to time!” She shifted her lance, clearly in good spirits about this latest revelation.

The cavalier gave the man an amicable grin and a thumbs-up. After all, he wasn’t that bad. Sully had gotten tired of the Plegian and her irritating obsession with the group’s tactician. Even if the woman seemed to have good taste in food, that grass looked good…

The hypnotist turned to her with a slow smile dawning on his face, hand outstretching towards her. “Very good, very good… But, dear girl, let’s not mince words. Just as she’s a sheep, I can see a different form is very, very well fitting for you.”

“Haww-huh?” Sully blinked, eyes glazing over just as Tharja’s had. She wobbled in place unsurely, swaying as new impulses hammered into her mind. The woman looked down to the grass, watching as it drew closer and closer to her face.

Then her nose was pressed against it, and she realized she’d lowered herself to all fours, beginning to graze just like the sheep-minded woman before herself. She opened her mouth, pulling her jaw back a little to give herself the appearance of an overbite. “HEEAWW!”

“Arrogant, brash, simple-minded. I think she makes a good ass, don’t you?” The man smiled, only to take a step back as the cold metal of a blade met his neck. He lifted his hands, lolling his head to the left and giving his aggressor a cocksure grin.

It was the resident princess, a blue-haired woman whose eyes blazed with defiance. “I see what you’re doing. This isn’t some sort of trick, you’re really affecting minds. The Fell Dragon did the same to people in my time.” Lucina spoke levelly, her eyes narrowed.

“You mean Grima?” Mikaeus blinked in confusion. “That’s just a fairy tale…” His lips quirked slightly as he thought a little more on that. “Much like my mother used to tell. You want to be a mother, don’t you? You want to nurture, provide for others…”

The blade trembled, and Lucina found her heart hammering in her chest. She could feel him encroaching on her mind; she could feel herself slowly succumbing to his words. “N-no…” She muttered, the divine sword Falchion falling from her trembling hands. She went to pick it up, but couldn’t remember how to use it, or her hands for that matter.

Lucina looked to her palms in shock, struggling to think of how to move her fingers… Or what fingers were. Why didn’t she have hooves? She needed those, if she was to stand properly. Properly like a lady? No, like a beast. Like an animal.

Already the thought of standing on two legs felt uncomfortable to her, and she slumped over onto her hands. “Ughh… Please, no…” She muttered, her mind fogging over. She looked up to the hypnotist, mouth opening in one last attempt to plead with him. “MOOO!”

“That’s right… Such a good girl, thinking only of helping others before herself. My dear, you’re suited for the life of a cow, being such a good and productive beast.”

She wanted to fight, to spit some oath towards him. “MOO! URHHMOOOH!” She moaned vacantly, feeling the last of her mind dwindling forever away. She didn’t want this, didn’t want to be an animal, didn’t want… to…

The hypnotist looked back to the two remaining women, his expression souring as he saw that the blonde princess of Ylisse was busy running, leaving only him with the brash Feroxi woman. Flavia had finally unslung her sword, holding it with an unshaking stance born of years of battle.

“My my, you are a brave one… So fierce, so powerful. But I’m more interested in the little noble who’s rushed away all my other fun. Scamper off now.” He gestured with a hand idly, looking to Lissa’s back with a predatory amusement.

In that moment, Flavia experienced something she’d thought herself incapable of feeling: fear. Her heart pounded in her chest, and the sword dropped from her hands. Desperately, she turned and ran towards the nearest tree, scrabbling at it with her hands and wondering why she wasn’t able to climb it.

Lissa’s heart hammered in her chest as she tried to run, only to find her body freezing. She slowly turned towards the man, her movement jerky and stilted as though she was a marionette under this puppeteer’s watchful eye. Her body paused, keeping her focused on Flavia, who was acting just like a frightened squirrel.

Lissa watched with horror as the warlord chittered like an animal, staring at her for a lingering minute before she was allowed to look at Mikaeus. “H-how is this possible? How are you doing this, we’ve never fought anything like…”

Mikaeus laughed, walking to Lissa and draping an arm across her shoulders. “I suppose you deserve an answer. The truth is, a certain Society has been asking about you, and so they contracted me for this.”

“W-what do you mean, s-society?” Lissa whimpered.

“Capital ‘S’, don’t ask how I know you didn’t mean it that way.” The man chuckled. “Instead, I’d like you to focus on the fact that my skills extend beyond simply changing minds.” He gestured towards Tharja with a wide grin on his face.

Lissa watched in numb shock as the woman’s body began to ripple and change, the impossible coming true before her startled eyes. Thick wool blossomed out from her soft, unshaven skin, a color that matched her hair.

“A black sheep…” Lissa muttered, watching as Tharja unconsciously flexed her jaw, her teeth getting so large and blocky as her ovine muzzle came in. Her clothes simply dissolved on her body, though it looked like the woman had no idea that she was naked. Mentally, she was nothing more than the animal her body was becoming.

“Fitting, isn’t it?” The man watched the dark mage’s descent into a sheepy form before nodding his head towards Sully. “But we’re not done yet.”

Lissa turned to Sully, knowing that the cavalier was next. Sure enough, the woman’s ears had already lengthened. They were long and pointed, and they flicked with motion as she chomped at the grass. “Hee-AUUW! HUAAAWH!” Her brays started to take on an animal tone, with good reason. Her neck was stretching.

Sully’s head extended away from her shoulders as she grew a proper donkey neck, one complete with a mane that she agitatedly tossed. It looked like she was as brash as ever despite her changes, though she no longer had the trimmed and fit figure she’d once sported.

Now the cavalier had a pot belly, and a thickly spread quadrupedal stance. A long tail with a tufted tip sprouted from above her fat ass, and she scuffed her new hooves against the ground. Her eyes slid to the sides of her head, and she snorted loudly as her nostrils broadened.

“MOOO!” Lucina bellowed nearby, and Lissa looked to her niece. The young woman was even fatter than Sully, with broad rippling flanks. That didn’t cause Lissa nearly as much distress as the fact that the girl’s breasts were swelling, growing larger and larger and larger still. They merged into a single milk sack, and Lissa watched it drift towards her crotch to give Lucina a proper cow’s udder.

Her head broadened, skull contracting around her brain even though there wasn’t any mind for the changed skull to diminish. The girl spat a dose of cud into her mouth that she chewed idly, becoming another victim of the man’s onslaught.

It left just Flavia, who didn’t seem to notice what had happened to the other girls. The Feroxi woman scrabbled at the tree in terror… Then began to climb it. Her hands grew small claws that easily dug into the bark of the tree, and her backside sprouted a heavy, fluffy tail.

It was a tail fit for any common squirrel, a rodent that didn’t have any of the dignity the noble deserved. Lissa sobbed in distress as Flavia shrank, coarse and short fur covering her form as her body dwindled down until it was barely a few feet tall.

“My friends… They’re all animals…” Lissa hiccupped, her eyes wide as she turned towards Mikaeus. “So why am I still me?” She didn’t want to tempt fate, but if she was an animal, then so be it. At least it would give her closure.

“Oh, my dear… You know there always needs to be one to tell the tale.” Mikaeus smiled, watching as hope dawned on the young princess’s face. “Which, of course, is why I’ll be the one to tell it. Sorry, but I can’t have a chicken like you missing any of the important details.”

“WhaBWAK!” Lissa tucked her hands under her armpits, stooping over and crouching to a waddle. She wiggled her butt and looked up with desperate eyes, tears trickling down her cheeks. Not this, anything but this! Let her be a dog, or a bear, or anything other than a dumb bird!

“GUBAWKBLUCKCLUCK!” A torrent of squawks escaped her lips, and she could feel the simpleness encroaching on her mind. She’d never been one for higher education, but as a noble she’d always been more intelligent than the average farmer. Now she was dumber than their pet dog.

“ClucklBAWK!” Lissa began to settle down, her mind accepting the changes because it didn’t have the capacity to find a reason to panic. The tears stopped as her eyes glazed, and she tilted her head inquisitively towards the man before herself.

Feathers sprouted from her body as he laughed, the only witness to the royal’s humiliating descent. Her legs became the hard and scrabbly claws of a bird, her delicate lips reformed into a beak. Her head shrank around her tiny brain, and her body plumped up just like the dumb bird she thought she was.

Mikaeus turned, pulling a book from his robes and crossing off a page, letting it join the dozen other completed tasks of his. A dozen down, but still a hundred more in the book… And the next set were right around the corner.
