Rachel Higgins chuckled to herself, stretching out in anticipation of yet another successful slumber party. Well, sleepover. There needed to be more adult terms for a group of collegiates spending the night getting royally wasted on fine foreign alcohols.

The whole gang was downstairs: Tabitha, Polly, and even Belle. Right now, all they were waiting for Rachel to get back to the common room with her secret stash of alcohol.

"Let's see... A bottle of the African, one of the Dutch... Not the Swedish, that's for me on a rainy day... Yeah, two's probably enough." The blonde said to herself, a bottle in each hand as she stepped out from her bedroom with a grin.

"Alright, who's ready to get..." She paused, blinking in mild surprise at the fact that there didn't seem to be anyone in the common area. "Wasted?" Rachel asked curiously, turning towards Belle's room to jump in surprise at how close her housemate was to her.

"Jesus, you scared me!" Rachel laughed, though her mirth soon faded at her friend's lack of response. It disappeared entirely at the frightened look on Belle's face... And the pallid gray of her skin.

"B-Belle?" Rachel asked, lowering the bottles to the ground so that she could press her hands against the the object before her. It looked like a statue that had been crafted perfectly in her roommate's own image, but that was impossible. It was too detailed to have been made by a person, capturing her look better than a photograph. She had to touch it, to see if such a thing was real.

Cold stone met her fingers, and Rachel swallowed uneasily. "O... Okay, that's a pretty cool prank. Where did you guys buy this?" Again, there was only silence.

Rachel opened her mouth to say... something, she didn't yet know what. Then a colorful blur glimmered across her peripheral vision. She turned, eyes widening as she caught sight of a bright green-and-red parrot. It certainly wasn't one of her roommates'; so how could it get there?

She began to think that she was dreaming; then the bird turned its beady eyes towards her. It opened its beak wide, letting out a loud screech.

"WAARK! Rachel, save me, WAARK!" The parrot flapped its wings, taking off from its perch to fly towards the girl. It was rather unnerving, and the girl took an uneasy step back into her bedroom.

"Okay, guys, this is seriously not funny!" Rachel called, flinching as the parrot landed on her collar, beating its wings frantically. She screamed and swatted it away, only for it to call again.

"It's-WAARK me, Polly! Save me, don't let her get to me-AAWRK!" Screamed the bird.

Rachel whimpered nervously, grabbing the animal from the air and trying to pet its head to relax it. Whoever had trained it had trained it well, as long as they'd intended for it to severely damage her calm.

"Oh, that's where you went!" A female voice called. It was one that Rachel didn't recognize, which made its presence in her house all the odder.

Rachel turned to face the speaker, only for her jaw to fall slack. She looked like a girl, save for the fact that she looked almost ethereal. Rachel could see through her, as though the new arrival's body was made of fog. The posters of her body were clearly visible through the girl's form, and... Wait, the girl was in her bedroom!

"Hold on, how did you get in here?" Rachel asked, still holding the parrot in her arms. The bird seemed to be more than a little unnerved by the appearance of the specter, and it shrieked loudly.

"NOOARRK! RUN LET ME GO PLEAARK PLEASE!" It screeched, kicking its talons back at Rachel.

The spirit giggled demurely, drifting towards the parrot and reaching out to it. Her hand literally passed through the bird's head and much to Rachel's surprise, the animal quelled its struggles immediately.

"Awwrk... Awk! Polly's a good girl! Polly wanna cracker!" The bird squawked, now far quieter than it had been before. For some odd reason, its calm was more unnerving than its panic, and Rachel set it down on her bed.

"Right, so... I'm going to go now..." Rachel began slowly, trying to keep a calm face on. The spirit only smiled and nodded in response.

"That's fine. I need to deal with Tabitha now, I think she's hiding in the bathroom. Just wait your turn and don't go too far." She said, before turning towards the wall and literally drifting through it.

Rachel didn't know what drove her to follow the creature-though she had to walk through the halls of her house instead of simply fading through the walls. It was probably curiosity, a thought that this day had already been so bizarre that it couldn't possibly get stranger. Maybe it was her confused mind letting her body go on autopilot, the word 'bathroom' so fresh in her mind.

Regardless of the cause, it was a decision that would forever change her life, one whose consequences she wouldn't fully realize until she rounded the corner.

The bathroom door was open, a light trailing past it with the sound of faint mewling coming from within. Again, another curiosity, one which Rachel couldn't help but sate. She stepped past the threshold, only to scream at the sight before her.

As the spirit had said, Tabitha was there. Only it wasn't entirely Tabitha, not anymore. The girl looked like she had been somehow spliced with a black-furred cat: all of her limbs were lengthened disproportionately, her face was stretched out into a muzzle, and a long tail swished behind herself.

Despite all of these catlike attributes and the dark hair that covered the girl's body, Rachel could clearly recognize her friend. And the cat-girl on the ground recognized her as well, turning her head towards the girl and letting out a piteous moan.

"Herrrlp mrreeoow..." She moaned, her hair falling from her skull as it reformed. Her ears slid up the sides of her head and long and white whiskers stretched out from either side of her stubby snout.

Now that Rachel looked closer, there were almost invisible hands pulling and pushing at her friend's body, molding it like clay. They were the same shade as the spirit from before, but a little more insubstantial. The result was that the wisplike limbs were unnoticeable unless Rachel tried hard to see them.

"Oh! You're early!" Rachel turned to find the spirit floating beside her, a smile on the girl's lips. "I guess you were really eager to start, huh?" She reached out a hand to the stunned girl, stroking it against-no, through-the side of her face, bringing it across her cheek and through Rachel's nose.

Immediately, Rachel felt the strangest sensation of her life. Her cheek was oddly itchy, and her eye burned where the ghost's hand had touched. She blinked rapidly, bringing her hand to the side of her face to find that it felt coarse and hairy, like she'd somehow grown a beard. But that was impossible... Wasn't it?

She turned towards the bathroom mirror in a blind panic, gasping as she saw black hairs growing in a band around her left eye... and white ones around her cheek and the center of her face. The dark part of her eye was growing larger and larger, and her nostrils...

Rachel's blood froze , her chest aching with worry as she watched them begin to flare. It was like something was stretching them from the inside, making them grow bigger and bigger with every passing second.

She could actually feel it too, a sharp ache combined with an unexpected coolness. The inside of her nostrils felt much like when she'd go outside on a cold day, an almost burning sensation from having cold air touch parts of her nose that she wasn't used to.

"What's going on?" Rachel asked, pressing her finger delicately against her enlarged nostrils and crinkling her nose as it began to recess into her face. She wanted to run; she wanted to get away. But the girl didn't know if that was the right decision; didn't know where this was heading.

It was an unasked question that was soon answered, as the spirit pet Tabitha's head with one hand, rubbing her belly with the other as though the girl was a cat she so resembled. The afflicted girl mewled in distress, only to let out a horrifying wail as her body began to crack and pop.

Rachel watched it as though it was a horror movie made manifest, staring with shocked eyes as her friend began to change. If there had been any doubt in her mind that this spirit was responsible for whatever had afflicted her friend, it was gone now...

And that meant that Rachel was next. A shot of adrenaline spiked deep through the brunette's gut, and she screamed loudly.

"Hey. Indoor voice. Not that I have ears, but... You know. Rude." The spirit looked to Rachel irritatedly, groping Tabitha and diminishing the girl's impressive chest until it was nothing more than a pair of bumps.

Finally, Rachel's fight or flight instinct made up its mind. She turned away, running as quickly as she could from the bathroom, heading straight for the the door. Her mind raced at a thousand miles per minute as she tried to escape, hoping that she could somehow make it outside and outrun the ghost. Was that even possible? Why did her house have so many hallways?

The girl sobbed in panic as she realized that she was the last person alive in this house. Well, at least alive in the sense that she was still mostly herself. If that ghost was somehow able to change people into... things, then that meant the statue really was Belle, and the parrot was...

Rachel stumbled to a halt, a mixture of despair and guilt making her whole body feel numb. Polly had tried to warn her; had tried to tell her to get away. Even if she didn't know that the parrot was her friend, it was still her fault that the monster had done something to her brain.

"Oh... Oh God." The girl hiccuped, clenching at her chest. Both her transformed eye and her normal one dewed with tears, and she hiccuped again. "It's my fault... It's..."

"Hm? What is?" The spirit's voice called from behind Rachel. A faint meow echoed her call, and Rachel turned to find a cat dutifully following the ghost, as though it was her pet.

Apparently the animal didn't find this room to be interesting for much longer; however. In typical feline fashion, it turned tail, padding back towards somewhere else inside the house. For a moment, Rachel hoped that Tabitha-for who else could the cat be-didn't find Polly. Then she realized that she should be much, much more worried about herself.

The spirit had drifted closer to the girl, reaching out its hands to her left ear. Again, fire bloomed in Rachel's body, and she screamed as an invisible force pulled hard on her lobe, stretching out her skin easily.

Rachel screamed, trying to push back against the invisible force only to brush her soft hands against her ear. The skin felt rough like an animal's hide, and it was getting coarse with fur, the hairs growing ever-longer with each passing second.

She snatched her hands away in fear and discomfort, looking back to the spirit with wide, shocked eyes. She didn't know what to do; didn't know if she could run without the ghost changing her more.

The only thing she could think of was looking to the ghost with wide, panicked eyes and asking a teary "Why?"

"Hm?" The apparition asked, tilting its head as though it hadn't expected that. "Why, why indeed... I'm not entirely sure, to be honest. Did you ever bully anyone before?"

Rachel sniffled, her large nostrils dripping with mucus from her sobs. "Y-yes, but she's one of my friends now. Or she was. Now she's a parrot..."

"Huh. Never would have thought that. Well, if I'm not doing this because I'm some forever-tormented spirit of vengeance..." The spirit stroked its chin, looking down to Rachel. Then it slowly began to smile, ethereal lips pulling back over phantasmal teeth. "Then I suppose you could say I'm doing this for fun."

Rachel whimpered, backing away from the spirit slowly. Of all the answers she could have received, that was by far the worst. It meant that she was just a plaything; there there was nothing she could say to escape her fate, and that the only thing she could do was run.

Realizing this, the girl turned tail-a moment too slow. The spirit's hand passed along her chest as she turned, trailing along her hand as well. Again, there was that creeping feeling of cold, then she began to change.

Rachel moaned as her chest started to itch, coarse hairs blossoming from her skin. That in turn began to darken, losing the smoothness which Rachel had striven to maintain in favor of the rough thickness that could only belong to an animal's hide.

Yet even that wasn't nearly as bad as the feeling in her hand, which had cramped almost immediately. It felt that her fingers were shattered, bones crushed by some invisible force.

She screamed and stumbled blindly from the pain, grabbing onto her malforming hand with the other. She could feel her very form twisting and reshaping, a hard mass beginning to overtake her skin. It was the oddest sensation of pain mingled with a complete lack of feeling, the nerves in her fingers flaring up in pain, only to be suddenly silenced.

Her palm could still feel perfectly fine, which was perhaps worse than the numbness that had assailed her fingers. She could distinctly make out something hardening at the end of it; whatever her fingers had become. It thunked against a wall as she ran through her house, the sound like a judge's gavel striking the podium.

"Oh God!" The girl moaned, refusing to look at her limb for fear of what that sound meant. Deep inside, she knew what it had to imply: that she had grown a hoof. Though Belle had become a statue, her other friends had become animals-and judging by the fur that she was growing along her chest, so too would she.

"Sorry, but I don't think He's taking calls right now. Or She. Funny, that." A familiarly haunting voice called from her left. Rachel turned to face it, screaming as she watched her tormentor pass through the wall, a smirk on the spirit's face.

"N-no!" Rachel wailed, slumping against the wall as the phantom reached for her, reaching through her. Suddenly it was a good deal cooler, and her necklace had gotten heavier around her collar.

"Y-yes!" The spirit called mockingly, chuckling. She reached for Rachel's face next, and in her panic, the girl tried to push against the ghost with her unchanged hand.

Rachel regretted the action immediately, her fingers cramping as they drifted easily through the spirit's form. They were darkening, hardening, becoming black and... She squeezed her eyes shut, trying not to look at what was happening to her. At least if she was in the dark about her form, then it might end up somehow being a dream...

That was the thought Rachel deluded herself into believing, a faint hope soon shattered by the very real sensation of cold, dead hands caressing her jaw, pushing into it. She choked out a sob, opening her eyes in time to see one of the hands pass over the left half of her face. It passed through her eye, and for a moment she could see through the ghost that was tormenting her.

"Please, no..." She choked, feeling that sharp pain of bones reforming, shrinking and stretching at this creature's behest.

"Is that all you can say? You know, I'm beginning to regret not making you into a wind-up doll. Just 'no, no, no' all the time with you... Your parrot friend was so much more verbose." The spirit sighed, waving her hand dismissively. "And here I thought I'd have a real conversation for once, you don't know how long it's been."

Rachel didn't know how to reply to that, not that she would have been able to. Her mouth ached tremendously as it stretched away from the rest of her skull. She could feel its every crack and pop echoing around in her head; hear the grinding of her teeth against one another as they coarsened and grew blocky.

That coarse feeling along her body that she now knew to be fur growth settled in, and she watched her growing snout as it grew a thick coat of black and white fur. Her nostrils broadened further on this snout, sinking into it just like some sort of farm animal's.

For a moment, Rachel deluded herself into thinking that she'd at least become a horse. Then it grew broader, blunter. Her tongue felt heavy in her mouth as it thickened, filling what was undeniably her new snout.

She pressed both hands against it, new tears dewing at her eyes as she started to hiccup in fear. The spirit moved her hands an inch from Rachel's body as the girl recognized what she was becoming; sobbing as her clothes vanished and her unchanged ear lengthened slightly, as though it was eager to receive the changes bestowed upon her.

The only article of clothing that remained on her was her necklace, now a collar with a large golden object attached... A cow's bell.

Cow TF For Future Story by SketchySeraph

Rachel whimpered loudly, looking to the spirit as it started to talk again. "You know, you're a lucky one. I'm sure you've figured it out by now, but in case you haven't, you're becoming a cow. I think they're really cute, which is I suppose why I made you into one. Do you think I'm weird for thinking that? I hope you don't."

"You're inthane." Rachel slurred, looking up to the spirit, tears streaking down her face. Her muzzle was so big that it made speaking hard; too hard to talk normally.

"Yes. No?" For a moment, the ghost looked confused, what passed for its brow furrowing. "I'm not quite sure what insanity is, really. Not anymore. You know, they never tell you just how lonely it can be. Living as a spirit of vengeance, I mean."

The spirit turned, lost in thoughts all alone. Sensing a chance to escape, Rachel turned, carefully walking on her bare feet so as not to alert the horror with the sound of her hooves.

Much to her surprise, there were no repercussions. A glance over her shoulder saw that the spirit was still distracted, mumbling to herself in the corner. It was the best chance that Rachel would have to escape, and the second she rounded the corner, the girl set off at a quick sprint, heading straight for the kitchen.

The keys to her car were hanging by the door, if she could get them, she might-

Her feet seared with pain, and the quiet padding of her steps quickly devolved into loud and clumsy clops. Unbalanced and distracted by the sharp agony, Rachel fell onto her chest, screaming as her feet cracked and popped.

It wasn't fair! She was so close! As she brought both her hoof and half-changed hand to one of her feet, the girl looked for what could have caused this.

There were a pair of phantasmal hands stretched out from the floor, clutching at nothingness. No, not quite nothingness... The more Rachel focused on them, the more she could see a faint and hazy outline in their spectral grip, almost like human feet.

Her eyes widened at the sight, and she stretched out her hands pleadingly as though that would somehow implore the hands to release her limbs from their ghostly grip. "Pleattth..." She slurred, her large muzzle still hard to talk around.

"You know, that was rather rude. You're supposed to listen to your guests." The spirit's voice once more filled the air, and Rachel turned with a sob to find her drifting once more through the wall.

"Pleath, jutht leath me agnloooone!" Rachel sobbed. She noticed for the first time how her muzzle moved with her every word, like a constant reminder that she wasn't human anymore, not entirely.

"Aw, but then you'd be a freak." The spirit chuckled, drifting over towards Rachel. "No, I think you'd be much better as an animal. Hm, maybe that's what my purpose is now... To make people better. I'll have to think on that. On the bright side, this is just going to come naturally. To me, I mean. To you, well... You'd better brace yourself."

She grinned from ear to ear and spectral hands began to rise from the floor around Rachel. The first thing they did was wrap around her throat, tugging slowly at her vocal chords. The worst sore throat of her life began to cramp Rachel's neck, and she reached up to it with both hands, eyes watering.

"UGHNOOO!" She moaned, the pain of her throat somehow not applying to her words. Somehow, the fact that talking felt normal only made her feel worse. It was like her body felt that losing her human voice was natural, a betrayal from her own voice that sent her into despair.

"MOO PUGHOOO!" She lowed, tears dewing at the corner of her eyes. She could still force her cowy snout to make certain consonants, but her every vowel resonated from her lips in the low pitch of a bovine. "URUHNOOO!"

"Hey, want to see a cool trick? I just learned that I can do this yesterday." Said the spirit with a huge smile, waving one of the spectral hands towards herself. It was holding a small glowing ball which sank into her throat, and the spirit shuddered with a grin.

Then she began to speak again, only when she did, Rachel's voice escaped her throat. "Hey, like. I'm Rachel, and I totally want to become a cow." The apparition grinned, pulling the ball from her throat to speak again with her normal voice.

"Wow, really? That's so generous of you! Thanks for letting me have my fun!" The apparition responded to herself, giggling in a manner that wasn't entirely sane. She reached out to the helpless girl, her ethereal hands filling Rachel's good eye.

The changed girl let out a low and distressed moan as she felt her skull begin to cramp. Half of her vision un-blurred as her eyes matched each other once more, though the world around her was now filled with warmer colors. It was like the cool blues and greens of the world had been muted, while their contrasting colors were more vibrant.

Unfortunately, this had the effect of making the bluish wispy figure a little harder to see, and it made her ghastly hands blend in with the purple walls of the kitchen. Rachel mooed in distress, blindly swiveling her head from side to side to try and see what was changing her, and where.

Somehow not knowing where the next change would hit was worse than the anticipation of seeing what was to transform. The girl's heart pounded in her chest with terror, and every motion of her body struck her with horrifying prospects of losing more of her humanity.

Then her neck began to cramp, and she found her field of vision being turned upwards, higher and higher. As if that weren't enough, her skull began to ache madly, her eyes slowly sliding to either side of her head.

On the bright side, at least she couldn't see the front of her muzzle as well... Then again, she could also now see the spirit that was tormenting her bring her hands to the girl's shoulders; then to her breasts.

Rachel's shoulders popped and snapped as they were relocated to new positions, forcing her arms to hang awkwardly before herself. She screamed in pain, only to sob at how helpless she was to elude her tormentor's next grasp.

She could see it coming, her new peripheral vision easily picking up the ghost's hands moving towards her limbs. But they were so hard to move now; so clumsy that she couldn't pull them away from the phantom's grasp.

Instead, all she could do was watch as her arms were run through an invisible press, compressing her human limbs and stretching them out. She developed new joints for her altering forelimbs, itchy and coarse fur covering her arms as her sturdier wrists rotated in their sockets.

Cow arms. She had cow arms now, and a cow face. This was what was going to happen to her; what was going to be her life.

Rachel sobbed loudly, tears dripping from her eyes and snot dripping from her nose. "UGHMOOO!" She wailed, trying to crawl away from the apparition only to have it grab her hips. They popped loudly and sent her falling to her knees, her latest attempt to rise to her feet halted before it could even begin. Rachel had expected it in a way; was beginning to feel nothing but despair and a complete lack of hope. It didn't keep her from fighting; however, and she kicked back at the spirit in hopes of injuring her.

Unfortunately, her hooves passed with ease through her tormentor's intangible body, her legs beginning to transform almost immediately. Her thighs stretched with fat as they bloated; her calves became long and skinny. Again, there was that odd crackling of her limbs reconfiguring to a bovine stance.

All of it was as painful as before, but thanks to her hands changing she was able to brace herself. That said, Rachel was not able to brace herself for how natural it felt to rise to all fours. It was yet another of those subtle betrayals from her form, and it stabbed her straight through the heart.

At least if it hurt or was uncomfortable to stand like an animal, she could resign herself to a life of torture. But the way it felt right now made her think of a normal life, as though this would be the new standard for her being.

Rachel let out a half-moo, half-sob as she shuffled her ungainly hooves awkwardly, hearing them echo through the room, filling her elongated ears. She turned her head pitifully towards the spirit, trying to form some soft of bovine plea-but the cry choked off in her throat.

The spirit didn't look to be a ghost any longer. Her body looked almost solid, with characteristics Rachel could easily identify from her friends. The thing sported Tabitha's breasts, Belle's tan skin, and Rachel's own athletic arms and legs. The spirit noticed the mostly-cow girl's glance and chuckled, flexing one of her hands happily.

"You know, I think that I could get used to this." She spoke, the dulcet tones of Polly's voice escaping her mouth. "Collecting parts, I mean. Funnily enough, I didn't realize I could do this until recently... Ah, but I'm boring you."

Rachel's dark cow eyes widened as the creature approached her, petting the girl's still-human torso. Though her hands actually felt like they were made of flesh and blood, their transformative effect was hardly diminished.

"MOOO!" Rachel loudly protested, retching as she began to violently expand. She was getting larger and larger with every passing moment, bulking up more and more. She could feel her frame swelling, her bones cracking and popping loudly as she gained pound upon pound upon pound.

Her first thought was that everything seemed heavier, where even the act of breathing required effort. Her fat body hung freely below her, and she could feel every inch of her ever-growing flesh growing a lush coat of black and white fur.

Well, almost every inch of her. Her breasts felt very, very different. They were getting larger and heavier with every passing second, her nipples aching as though someone was pulling on them, stretching them into an udder's teats.

"I'm Spirit by the way. Not sure if you needed to know that or not, but it's supposed to be polite to introduce yourself." Her tormentor said, chirping happily. "I mean, I'll need to remember my manners, now that I'm actually going to be a person again. Or wearing a person. Clothes make the woman, after all."

Rachel lowed loudly and sadly, hating how part of herself would be used in whatever future transgressions the monster before her would commit. Even if nobody would recognize them as hers... Or even recognize her, for that matter.

She mooed again, this time filling her cow's cry with sadness. Nobody would recognize her like this, not her parents or even her boyfriend. Then again, maybe that was for the best. She didn't want to be seen by anyone she knew as such a disgusting, fat creature.

Spirit giggled, somehow even more frightening now that she had a name. Before it was easy to think of her as a monster or some evil force, but now... Now this creature had identity; had a being. Worse, she was somehow able to remind Rachel of all of her friends at once-and even a little of herself.

"Don't look at me like that." Said the object of Rachel's musings, and she looked up in surprise to find that she'd somehow made the woman angry. "I'm not a freak. I'm not what you and Charlene think I am!"

"M-moo?" Rachel's eyes widened at how horrible her friend's face looked when snared by the grip of mad rage. She tried to back away from her tormentor, but the woman shot both of her hands out, tugging hard on Rachel's long teats.

"MOOOO!" The cow-girl screamed with pain, her eyes squeezing shut as her nipples grew even longer, her breasts began to fuse together. She wailed loudly, her cries echoing around the house but only falling upon the ears of her tormentor.

Spirit smirked evilly, then she yanked hard on her victim's forming udder, actually pulling it along Rachel's body until it hung between her legs, heavy and fat. The cow bellowed with the pain of this new assault upon her bdoy, her skin feeling pinched and stretched beyond anything in her life; her udder sloshing full of liquid and begging for release.

Spirit laughed heartily, clenching her hands tighter around the teats and tugging on them, sending spurts of milk from Rachel's new udder onto the floor. It was the strangest sensation of Rachel's life, of having a full sack of milk between her legs being drained through nipples long enough to hold in a human's hand.

"MUHNOOO!" She groaned loudly, drooling with a reluctant pleasure. As awful as the rest of this transformation had been, it was strangely relieving to feel her udder drain, like the feeling of urinating after holding it for hours but magnified tenfold. A puddle soon formed below her dangling teats, growing larger and larger until Spirit had evidently had her fill of this new source of entertainment.

"Perfect." Spirit smirked, chuckling darkly as she played her hands further along Rachel's form, making it larger still.

The cow bellowed as she fattened further and further, her eyes wide with disbelief. She'd already thought herself to be a hefty heifer, but now? Now this was something else, bloating her body her until she was positively rotund.

With that, Spirit laughed, pulling away from her latest transformed victim. "Well well... I think that you look just about perfect. You'll be a fat one, but your milk should be good enough to keep yourself from getting put to the slaughterhouse. Maybe. Or not. Either way, surprise is the essence of life!"

"Moo!?" Rachel tried, lumbering to and fro on her hooves, a little surprised by the fact that her weight could hold her full bulk. She looked pitifully to the creature that had so affected her, only to flinch as Spirit put her hands against her cowy head.

"There's just one more thing to do, and then you'll be perfect." Spirit said with a grin.

Rachel moaned, remembering what had happened to Polly. Was this is? Was this going to be her losing all of her thought; losing her human mind? In a morbid, horrified sort of sense, she hoped that it would be the end for her.

Then Spirit pulled away, and Rachel felt a spike of wariness. Had she changed her mind? Was Rachel going to retain her human intelligence? Maybe she could escape; maybe she could tell someone about what had happened to her.

"Moo." She said slowly, her head nuzzling Spirit's hand.

Rachel started, confused. She didn't do that. Why did her body move without her telling it to? A coldness began to sink into her chest as she mooed again, tail swishing as she looked around herself in blind confusion.

"Aw, there there." Spirit cooed, chuckling as she pet Rachel's head more.

Much to Rachel's mingled displeasure and horror, she realized that her body wasn't hers to control. She was an observer now, looking out through large and vapid eyes at the world around herself; watching as the woman standing before her laughed.

"Don't worry, Rachel. You're going to be just fine, here inside your new body. Well, I suppose you're not Rachel anymore. Maybe you're a Bessie? A Bertha? That's more for your new owner to decide." Spirit smiled as she spoke, and it was clear that whatever was controlling Rachel's thoughts didn't comprehend her words.

Instead, the cow only mooed again, looking around the house and beginning to feel a veritable sense of unease at being indoors. "Moo..." Rachel whimpered, shifting slightly in place and coughing something grassy up her throat.

It took the girl almost a minute to realize that it was cud. She'd just coughed some of her stomach's contents into her mouth, and she was chewing on it like a mindless animal. The girl mentally began to scream in horror, in denial, in any of the thousand terrified emotions that dominated her mind.

If Spirit noticed any of these, she didn't notice. Instead, the woman pulled away from the cow, grabbing the girl's phone to dial a number. She left it on the counter as she walked away, waving back to the bovine she'd just made.

"Enjoy your new life. I'd love to stay, but I have a whole world to explore."

Rachel watched her go, left alone to her own terrified thoughts. The sound of a dial tone filled the room from her phone, and was the only other noise save Rachel's own frantic huffing. She was forever trapped in a body not her own, stuck in an everlasting nightmare.

The dial tone clicked, and a female voice spoke over the line. "9-1-1, what is your emergency?"

Rachel responded in the only way she'd be able to speak for the rest of her miserable life: "MOOO!"
