A group of three young witches stood in a circle, their blond hair shimmering in the mid-day's sunlight like gentle halos.
“Are you sure this is the one?” One of them spoke nervously, looking to their leader.
“I'm sure. For too long, this traitor to our order had run wild. Now, it's time for vengeance. For justice. To make our mark as heroes.” The young woman spoke confidently, watching as their target stepped from the taxi.
“To victory.” She whispered.
“To victory.” Her comrades replied, silently leaping from the rooftop to land behind their quarry.
Sarah was feeling good. No, actually—she was feeling great. This was one of the rare times in her life that a vacation had truly gone as it should, and she was feeling like a million bucks. She hadn’t changed anyone in months yet she couldn’t so much as care. Life really was—
“Halt, evildoer!”
And there was the downer.
Sarah turned, looking to find a trio of blondes glaring at her expectantly. “What?” She sighed tiredly, tossing some of her hair over her shoulder. These were probably some young pups who had no idea who she was; girls who thought themselves to be the cream of the crop among their magic classes.
“We’re here to put an end to your transforming sprees! You’ve gone unchecked for too long!” The same girl spoke, the one in the middle with emerald eyes.
Sarah sighed, cracking her fingers, then rotating her neck to pop it. “You do realize that there’s a reason for that? I’m an acceptable statistic, and the government needs people like me to keep the population of humans in check.”
The other girls looked a little uneasy, but their leader was undeterred. “A likely story, foul witch! Your time for judgment is past due, and it’s now time for us to vanquish you! I am Claudia Ezrael, of the prestigious Bright Order of wizards! You stand charged with crimes of unwilling transformation, and unlawful death! Let my partners Yolanda and Becca bear witness!”
Sarah held up a hand for forestall them. She couldn't help but sigh in dismay at how devoted to rote these little women were. “Before we do this… I feel I must tell you of the other reason I’m still alive and human.”
“Oh?” This time, one of the henchgirls by the ringleader’s side asked. Yolanda, no doubt. Sarah made it a habit to remember her victim's names, and this little one would be quite amusing to change.
Sarah gave her an evil grin. “I’m one of the best there is.” She concentrated her magic to her hand, letting a bolt of energy gather in her palm.
But before she could fire it, a nimble black-haired girl leapt from above, gripping the sorceress’s hand and turning it back at her. The blast smacked Sarah straight in the face, and she screamed aloud.
“That was for my brother!” The new addition shouted, grinning victoriously as green flame engulfed Sarah’s head.
The sorceress screamed louder, slumping to her knees and clutching her face. Then she paused, looking up at the girls to reveal she was completely unscathed. “Just kidding.” She said, sticking out her tongue as the flame burned brighter, leaping to the dark-haired girl who’d grabbed her.
“N-no! No!” The girl shrieked, her clothes burning from her body as the flame coated her form. But rather than consume her it began to enhance her, increasing the weight of her body by the second. Her taut tummy sagged and her arms and legs thickened as she let out a groan of dismay.
“I remember your brother.” Sarah cooed into the girl’s thickening ears. “His screams were delightful.”
The flame burned brighter, then flowed into the girl’s ears, nose, and mouth. As it poured into her frozen form, fur began to shoot out from her every pore, covering her in black and white hairs. The young witch squealed as she realized she was becoming a panda, and the girl tried to cover herself as if to hide her shame.
“Oh, what’s the matter?” Sarah purred. A name came to her mind, the last word the girl’s brother had screamed before he had been immolated by her magic. “Is… Little Li not feeling well?”
Li roared loudly. “Monstrrr!” She managed through her thickening jowls, her face extending into an ursine muzzle. Her teeth sharpened, and she growled at Sarah before flinching back, her primal brain sensing the danger she’d be in if she tried to attack the sorceress.
“What’s that?” Sarah smiled sweetly at her, flicking out her arm to hit the blond to Claudia’s right, Yolanda. “You hungry, girl?”
The other blond blushed, her body beginning to swell in a similar fashion to Li’s. Only while Li’s form had reached a point where it stopped being flabby, this girl’s mass kept increasing. Her body was putting on pound after pound, making her grow from an athletic woman in her prime to someone who looked more like a fat NEET.
“What dooornt you do to meeeee!” She squealed loudly as her nose flattened on her face, crinkling the skin around it in a piggy fashion. She squealed again, louder this time as she realized what she was becoming.
“Yolanda, no!” Claudia squeaked, her arms wrapping around her friend as though she could stop the girl’s changes. It was funny in a heartbreaking sort of way.
Within seconds, Yolanda’s body had expanded to the point where her clothing could no longer restrain her flab. She squealed loudly as her rolls of fat erupted from her shirt, shredding it apart. And still she continued to grow, getting so heavy that Claudia could support her no longer, and she fell to all fours.
Sarah looked back to the transforming Li with a smile. The girl’s head was completely like that of any other panda. Her nose had flattened out, and her ears were now rounded atop her head. Sarah couldn’t help but wonder if the girl had any of the instincts of her new form yet.
“Tell me, Li. You wouldn’t happen to want to eat that lovely little sow over there, would you?” Sarah purred, looking to the large panda with a grin. She could hear the bear’s stomach growl, but Li remained in control.
“Nnrrro.” She shook her head, her hips clicking and sending her to all fours. Her fur rippled as she hit the ground, and a small tail sprouted from her backside. The girl’s hands and feet cracked and popped as they reshaped into large, clawed paws.
Sarah looked at the girl’s bear hands with interest, tapping her lower lip idly. “Well then… What if I said that your little ‘Yolanda’ was actually a boar, intruding on your territory?”
At that, Li’s eyes contracted, her pupils shrinking as she snorted challengingly. Her ursine muzzle began to drool openly as she looked at her piggy friend, and she bared her fangs menacingly.
“Prrr-ornnt! Leee! Ree! Nooorrrnt!” Yolanda pleaded, her hands and feet scuffing at the ground below her as they hardened into hooves. The piggish girl tried to turn to run, but a pain in her jaw forestalled her.
Sarah beamed as Yolanda’s face cracked out into a muzzle, two massive tusks growing from her mouth. The piggish girl squealed loudly, then squealed again as her female sex transformed, pushing out into something that was undeniably male.
Li roared loudly, causing Yolanda to squeal again, turning as if to run. She half-stumbled on her unfamiliar trotters, wobbling and falling down in an ungainly heap.
“Get her, girl.” Sarah beamed, pointing at the last two girls and firing restraining spells to hold them. She gestured to the large panda as it bore down on the boar, its open maw slavering as it bit deep into the animal’s throat.
“See how simple it is to cause a few changes? Just a little species rewrite and you fall upon one another, hungrily devouring someone who was once your closest friend.” Sarah cooed.
“W-we just met Li, she wasn’t our friend!” The other blond cried as Claudia stared on in numb shock.
“Oh? I stand corrected.” Sarah drawled, rolling her eyes. She clapped her hands and the grisly feeding vanished; the panda and its meal now appearing in a favorite zoo of Sarah’s, continents away.
She dusted her hands off, beginning to speak again. “My point is, people are innately savage. And for every five diners I transform; for every few malls; I also defuse something truly vile that the world would be better without.”
Claudia looked to her numbly, her eyes watering. “What… What do you mean?”
“Have you ever wondered why it’s been so long since we’ve been at a real war? Since anybody important has been assassinated? I’m not evil, you know. I do like peace; people are so much more fun to change when they haven’t experienced suffering.”
Claudia shivered as her whole world crumbled around her. Numb, the girl fell slack against the magic that bound her, tears beginning to streak down her face. “It’s… Impossible.”
The other blond saw this, frowning. She quickly brought up her arms, severing the ties that held her fast.
“Stay strong, Claudia!” She shouted. “This witch tells nothing but lies!”
“Do I? I wonder.” Sarah tapped her lower lip as she spoke. This one was... Becky? Rebecca? Something like that... Still, she could hardly tell the girl she'd already forgotten her name. She wanted to crush the girl's spirit before devastating her entirely like that.
“Who was it that sent you after me, hm? Perhaps Garnsson? That old hound has a tendency to use me to weed out his overly eager candidates.” Sarah spoke with a small smile, determining the best way to break this would-be hero was the truth itself.
“H-he would never do that!” The girl squeaked, summoning some of her own magic. The cobblestones around her began to shift, clacking against one another as she summoned golems to protect herself, large automatons guided by conjured spirits.
“Then how did I know his name?” Sarah laughed. “Did he teach you that, tell you that such a feeble spell could defend yourself against my power?”
“G-golems are immune to magic!” The girl yelped, summoning a few more of her creations to protect her from the witch’s inevitable onslaught.
“Immune, you say?” Sarah purred. “Tell me, how can such magical creatures ever be immune to my touch?”
With that, she brought both of her hands forward, transformative energy coursing from her fingertips into the golems, binding them to her will and reshaping them. They sprouted new arms, grew antennae, started to shrink.
The blond shrieked in fear as she saw that her servants were becoming cockroaches, scuttling animals completely under Sarah’s sway.
The sorceress drank in the stupid girl’s fear, harnessing control over all of them in her left hand while her right blazed with new energy. She fired this at the cowering girl, her grin widening as it sank deep into the girl’s body.
The blond whimpered. “P-please, no!” She looked to her arms with worry, no doubt expecting to see fur coming in along her skin. She was so focused on that that she failed to notice the world growing around her; her clothes getting looser.
It was perfect; this was the best chance to break her. “Tell me. What’s your name?” Sarah smiled languidly.
“Wh-what?” The girl looked up, her surprise momentarily overwhelming her need to beg for mercy.
“Your name.” Sarah sighed. “I forgot.”
It had the desired reaction: Sarah could see the girl's eyes tearing up, her lower lip quivering as she realized how insignificant she was.
“B-Becca! Please, don’t change me!” The blond squealed, her hands clapping together as she pleaded. The motion caused her oversized sleeves to fall from her shoulders, and the girl realized just how bigger the world was around her.
Becca looked up to Sarah. “What are… No!”
“Oh, yes.” Sarah purred.
“No, no! Please, don’t shrink me, I’m terrified of shrinking!” She squeaked loudly, her voice seeming to get higher pitched as her vocal chords shrank further. The girl whimpered and sobbed as she fell within the voluminous folds of fabric that were once her clothes.
Sarah beamed at how small the little girl was, how utterly insignificant she had become. Then she sent her roaches a single command.
The tiny Becca crawled out from her clothes, barely making it out of the mountain that was one of her shoes. She was tiny, smaller than the buttons on her shirt! The girl cried out in horror, then looked up as a shadow loomed over her.
It was a giant cockroach, its mandibles chittering as it drew closer to her. The beast’s antennae swayed, then they focused on the tiny girl, its legs seeming to thunder against the ground as it approached Becca’s tiny body.
She backed away in fear, only to bump into something hard and smooth. Trembling, Becca slowly turned to find another cockroach behind her, its maw wide and slavering as it gripped her tightly around the waist. Another latched onto her right arm, and another latched onto her left. Then they began to pull.
The girl’s screams were almost inaudible, but Sarah still smiled to herself as she heard the squeaks of the girl being torn limb from limb, devoured by the insects that were once her protectors.
“And then there was one.” Sarah purred, looking back to see the once-proud Claudia beginning to struggle at her bonds.
“P-please, don’t! I—I had no idea, I don’t want to die!” Claudia sobbed.
“You don’t want to die? Yet you came to kill little me!” Sarah placed a hand on her own chest, smiling at the sobbing girl. “Don’t you think I don’t want to die, too?”
“Yes, yes! Please! Anything, I’ll say anything, do anything! I’ll spy for you! On Garnsson!”
Sarah sighed, brushing some of her hair behind her ear. “You do realize that he and I share no grudges? He sends me the students of his that he wants dead. I have some fun with them. It’s good business for both of us.”
“N-no…” Claudia whimpered as Sarah approached her, the woman’s hips sashaying slowly from side to side as she brought a hand to caress the girl’s cheek.
“Oh, yes.” Sarah cupped both of the girl’s cheeks in her hands, stroking them with a smile. As she did, long brown hairs extended out from her skin, giving them a lush coat of brown fur.
The bonds around Claudia’s form undid themselves, leaving the girl free to itch at her cheeks, staring helplessly up at Sarah. It seemed she finally realized just how futile resistance was. “Why?” She whimpered, stroking the fur with trepidation.
“Why? Because it’s fun.” Sarah grinned, tugging sharply on the girl’s ears and making them extend on her head, pulling wider and wider until they were the jug-like ears of a chimp. “Unless you meant ‘Why am I making you a monkey?’”
Claudia’s eyes widened. “Mon-KEEEIGH?” She choked out a screech as short and stubbly black hair began to cover her cheeks.
“Yes. Well, you’ll be partially one.” Sarah cooed, brushing her fingers over Claudia’s lips. “I’m going to give you a very special treat. I’m going to lock your mind away so that you live trapped in this shameless, hooting form as my pet and slave. You’ll live by my side, your very existence a constant reminder of your failure.”
“Puhl-EEEES!” Claudia hooted, her eyes wide with fear as they began to cloud over. “NAAA-AAA-AA that!”
“Sorry, dear. But I was in such a good mood and you had to go and ruin it.” Sarah placed her hand on the girl’s head, pressing down on it and causing her to shrink. “And so you’ve earned one of the worst gifts I can give: life.”
Claudia hooted loudly, all human speech blasted from her mind as she began to grow fur all over her body. She started to itch at herself in fear, coarse hairs growing all along the rest of her body. A loud moan escaped her lips as she looked back to Sarah, her eyes glazing themselves over as she stared at what she knew was her new master.
“Oh, so soon?” Sarah laughed. “I’d have hoped you were stronger-willed; those always make for more fun transformations, when the little uppity bitch like you struggles against the inevitable.”
But she’d already damaged the girl’s mind so much that the mental changes had overpowered what remained of her feeble brain, driving it back into a mental prison. She whined back at Sarah, tilting her head in confusion as though to ask why she would ever fight these changes.
Still, her eyes were screaming in fear, as though she realized she’d let her last chance to fight this slip through her lengthening fingers.
“There’s the look I was waiting for.” Sarah fondly sighed, smiling as she pet her new servant’s cheeks. The monkey-girl hooted loudly as she scratched her hairy ass, her spine slowly clicking out into a long and furry tail.
Sarah laughed; the girl wasn’t even scratching her tailbone! Instead, Claudia seemed to be busy focusing on her bum and her crotch, her hands scratching both of them as she hooted dumbly. The girl’s feet splayed below her, and she soon rolled onto her back to itch at herself with these new hands as well.
Sarah laughed at the dumb animal below her. To think that this pitiful creature had thought to challenge her. It was kind of embarrassing, honestly. The sorceress tapped her chin idly as she gazed at the hooting monkey beneath her. She might need to ask Garnsson to train his students better; this was too easy.
Maybe she’d lend him his former charge. After all, he did have a fondness for such anthropomorphic animals. The sorceress laughed aloud, nodding to herself. Yes, that was a lovely idea.
Below her, her new pet monkey-girl joined in the laughter, hooting dumbly just for the sake of being in agreement within her master. And deep within her eyes, a young ‘champion of justice’ sobbed in horror, trapped for all of eternity.
