(Woman to Teddy Bear, Woman to Tree, Woman to Toy Soldier, Man to Female Elf, Woman Merging with Female Elf to Reinder Taur, Woman to Reindeer)

“Hey Vera!” Ronnie waved to her friend, jogging up to the girl with a huge smile. They’d just met a few weeks ago, but Ronnie still felt like she trusted the brunette implicitly. Maybe it had something to do with her working for a toy store.

Vera turned, her black dress seeming to twist the shadows around the girl’s slender form. “Oh, hello there. Where are your friends? Didn’t you want my help in getting into the shop tonight?”

Ronnie nodded. That was the plan, anyways. A quiet and private Christmas party in the local mall. And the only cost was a tiny little bit of breaking and entering.

“We’re all still in. The others are coming in a car because they live further down the road.” Ronnie grinned. “They might be another ten minutes or so…”

“Oh?” Vera smiled. “So tell me… Do any of them know you’re here early? I thought you had work today.”

Ronnie nodded. “Yeah, I know. I got out early; was gonna make it a surprise.” She grinned at Vera. “So that gives us some private time.”

“It does indeed.” Vera returned, looking at Ronnie strangely.

For the first time since Ronnie had met the girl, she felt a spike of fear. Vera was looking at her like a cat would look at a mouse, as though she was eying up common prey. “S-something wrong?” Ronnie laughed nervously.

As she laughed, her armpits began to tingle. The girl bit her lip at the awkward sensation, doing her best not to show her nervousness to Vera. The space between the girl’s eyebrows tingled too, and she did her best not to itch.

“No, everything’s right.” Vera said slowly, looking at Ronnie’s forehead.

Ronnie gave into the urge, bringing one of her hands up to itch between her eyebrows. Said eyebrows shot right to her hairline when her fingers brushed against something soft and furry. The girl fumbled for her phone, pulling it out to check her reflection.

Sure enough, it looked like there was soft, white fur growing out between her eyebrows. She poked at it, yelping aloud as the long hairs began to spread like wildfire along her face. Ronnie looked back to Vera, opening her mouth to scream.

“Ah-ah. Can’t have any of that, can we?” Vera clicked her fingers and Ronnie’s lips sealed shut, black stitches lacing her lips sealed.

Vera whimpered, pawing at her face, Her hands started to feel funny too, and she looked down to see her hands become little more than fuzzy nubs at the ends of her arms.

The girl’s nose ached as it turned a dark black, growing numb as it pushed away from her face. Ronnie looked past her new muzzle at Vera, her eyes wide as she silently begged for an end to whatever was happening to her.

“Oh, don’t worry. It’ll all end soon enough.” Vera laughed coldly as thick white hairs exploded from Ronnie’s skin, covering her from head to toe.

Ronnie turned to run, falling to the ground in a heap. It was useless: she couldn’t run; couldn’t do anything but change for Vera’s amusement. The girl screamed in her mind as her form twisted and reformed, becoming something entirely not human.

Vera scooped up the changed girl, vanishing Ronnie’s clothes and phone with a dismal wave of her hand. “Oh, you’re just perfect.” She grinned. “Now, when were your friends getting here?”

“Hey, when are we getting there?” Lindsay bounced idly, her eyes wide with excitement. She couldn’t wait for the visit to the toy shop. Lindsay had always loved toys, ever since she was a child.

“I dunno.” Kara laughed at her blonde friend as the girl continued to bounce excitedly. “We’re not that close to Vera’s shop… “ She looked to the car’s driver expectantly.

“What?” Jason smiled a little but didn’t look away from the road.

Lindsay quietly took note of that, turning to look at the backseat’s other occupant with a waggle of her eyebrows.

The girl in question, Jessie, smiled at her friend; then at her boyfriend. Jason returned her smile a moment later in the rearview mirror.

Jessie and Jason had been dating for a few years now, and he was all too eager to take her out on a special occasion like this. Even if he wouldn’t be alone with Jessie.

Lindsay liked that about him. That and the fact that she could call the couple ‘Jacey’. It just rolled off the tongue so easily. She grinned at how cute they were, then leaned forward to her best friend.

“Hey Kara, are we there yet?”

Kara sniggered, bopping Lindsay on her nose. “Still dunno. My phone says we are, though.” She waggled her smartphone; the reason for her getting the passenger seat.

“Great!” Lindsay plopped back in her seat contentedly. Sure enough, the car made a left and the little shop came into view. She was honestly surprised she hadn’t heard of the classical toy shop before Ronnie had met Vera, but it was out of the way.

And Vera… Lindsay still suspected it was a little too good to be true that she’d just give them a Christmas plat date. But then again, Lindsay was never one to look a gift horse in the mouth. She was just excited to finally visit an old-timey toy shop.

The car drew closer and Lindsay caught sight of Vera waiting for them. The woman was wearing a slinky black dress that really looked good in the dimly-lit parking lot. It also looked like she was holding something in her hands…

Spurred on by curiosity, Lindsay was the first one out of the car. She jogged up to Vera, squeaking at the sight of the snowy-white polar bear the woman held in her arms. “Aw, he’s so cute! Does he have a name?” Lindsay beamed, poking the little stuffed animal.

Vera returned her smile, handing the teddy bear to the excited blonde. “Ronnie. I figured that since she couldn’t make it tonight, we might as well have her in spirit.” She turned to the door, fumbling for the right key to unlock it.

Lindsay paused at that. She’d always had a gift for telling if someone was lying, and Vera… She wasn’t entirely lying, but she wasn’t telling the truth either. Lindsay would have to ask her about that later. Maybe Ronnie had gotten into a fight with Vera, as unlikely as that seemed.

Kara, on the other hand, had no such inhibitions. “Why couldn’t Ronnie come?” Kara asked, laughing as Lindsay took to cuddling the little bear.

“She called earlier and said work was keeping her late. Didn’t you guys get her message?” Vera blinked, looking back to Kara in surprise.

Lindsay frowned. That definitely was a lie. Still… Toy store. “Guess she forgot.” Lindsay said with a small smile. Then she buried her face in the doll again.

It was so fluffy and warm! Lindsay would definitely need to buy this at the end of the night. But first things first. She took a step into the store, marveling at how huge it looked on the inside. “Wow, it looks so much bigger inside!”

“I know, right?” Vera beamed. “It’s magic, I’m telling you.” She laughed, waving them all into the shop. The woman then quickly glanced out to the parking lot, slamming the door shut and locking it.

“Um…” Kara began, arching an eyebrow.

“I don’t want to get caught letting you guys into here.” Vera grinned sheepishly, rubbing the back of her neck.

That was the most bold-faced lie yet. “What’s going on, Vera?” Lindsay asked, hugging Ronnie tightly to her chest.

“What?” Vera blinked in surprise. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

“No, you do.” Lindsay nodded, glaring at the woman. “You’ve been lying to us since we got here, and I want to know what’s going on.”

Vera sighed, slapping one hand against her face. She slipped her hand off with a glare at the Lindsay.

The girl let out a small squeak, hugging the bear tighter to her chest. It looked like Vera was a completely different person. She used to look chipper and bright, but now she was…

Cruel was the only word that described the look on the woman’s face as she began to speak. “You little bitch. I would have liked to do this in a much less… messy manner.”

“Do what?” Lindsay squeaked, immediately regretting her decision to call Vera out on her lies.

“This.” Vera glared at Lindsay.

The girl’s whole body began to feel uncomfortable. She dropped the teddy bear in an attempt to scratch at her body, but a quick look at her skin froze her in her tracks. It looked like she was a few shades darker, and that her skin was getting dry and flaky.

It almost looked like bark.

Lindsay raised her head, opening her mouth to scream. No sound came out, though, only a cool rush of air as her chest and belly cramped. She tried to look down and realized she couldn’t. Maybe it was for the best; she could already feel what was happening to her.

She could feel her legs thickening, her torso barreling out into a round trunk. It felt like she was becoming some sort of tree, and she didn’t want to confirm this suspicion. Seeing might be too much for her to bear.

Just as this thought passed through her mind, her face tingled. Lindsay watched as dozens of short branches forced their way through her chest, then out from the rest of her body. The girl’s mind stalled to a stuttering halt as she watched the branches grow longer, each of them growing hundreds of pine nettles.

Kara ran soundlessly up to her friend, tugging at the branches that were covering Lindsay’s skin. Her mouth was moving the whole time, like she was screaming. Absently, Lindsay noticed that her ears must have pulled back into her head at some point, leaving her deaf.

Her arms slowly raised to her sides, more thick branches pushing out from her skin and tearing what remained of her clothes to ribbons. More and more pine nettles started to grow from these, and Lindsay realized with a thrill of horror that she was starting to lose her vision.

Her body had already lost its shape. All that was left was for her head to melt away into the trunk of her new arboreal form. Lindsay would have hiccupped with fear if she could, but all she was able to do was feel; feel her face disappearing in the trunk of her body.

She could pick up the distinct sensation of her feet becoming twisted roots, sinking into… soil? Her clothes must have become a large pot for her new form, anchoring her in place. It was the last change she had yet to undergo, and Lindsay could pick up her body now absorbing nutrients from the dirt.

Now fully a pine tree, Lindsay felt her mind beginning to change. A calm nonchalance seeped into her thoughts. She began to worry less about the fates of her friends and more about when she’d next be watered.

The store’s lights felt warm on her branches; she could just stretch out and let all other thoughts go. Just let go…

“No, no, no!” Kara tried to push her hands through the branches to catch sight of her friend’s face again; but it was like trying to part the tide. This couldn’t be real; Lindsay couldn’t have just turned into a tree! Vera couldn’t have… Vera!

She spun to face Vera, raising a fist to try and get some vengeance for Lindsay. The woman simply smiled scornfully.

“Tell me, how do you hope to fight me with such a small stature?”

Before Kara could retort, her entire body began to cramp up. Her clothes felt looser on her, and the rest of the room looked so much larger. She was shrinking! Kara gritted her teeth, yelling out a curse as she began to sink into her own clothes. Her shirt was already slipping down over her shoulders, and Kara felt her legs begin to sink into her jeans.

She tried to pull out of them, to step free of the confining clothes. She tripped in response to that, tumbling to the ground in a heap. The tiny girl looked up at Vera with a squeak. The woman was positively huge!

“Oh, you’re perfect like this.” Vera cooed, bending down to pick Kara up.

The tiny girl kicked and flailed. Like hell she’d be treated like some sort of toy! She glared at Vera defiantly. “Do your worst, whore.”

Vera tutted. “Come now. ‘Bitch’, I accept. I’ve certainly earned that from you. But what have I done to make you think I’m promiscuous, mm?” As she spoke, she pulled out a small golden key.

“What are you doing with-” Kara found herself cut off as the key was pressed against the small of her back. She could feel its cool touch against her skin; then it pushed into her body with a clicking sound. Kara shuddered, her hands snapping to her sides and her feet clicking against one another.

“There there, no need to respond. I know you were just caught up in the moment.” As Vera spoke, she started to turn the key.

Kara whimpered, feeling something in her body begin to change. It was like her innards had become gears, and each turn of the key was winding her more and more. She looked down to find that her hands were twisting into featureless balls.

More than that, her feet were becoming blocky, and her arms and legs were transforming into little more than cylinders. On top of that, all of her limbs felt heavy and dull. It was like they were made of metal…

Kara tried to open her mouth to shout again, but Vera twisted the key again. The girl found her jaw slamming closed. Her lips quirked irresistibly upwards into a dumb smile, as though the transformation was taunting her.

Next, her head began to slowly expand. It was like her sinuses were congested, but everywhere. Kara’s heart hammered as her head blimped out into a smooth ball, shiny and round. Her nose became a peg at the end of her face, and her eyes became little painted dots.

Her whole body felt painted, actually. She felt her cheeks tingle as they were colored pink. This was followed by her chest tingling as her body was painted in a bright shade of red. Her legs were coated in a thick coat of white; then additional details tickled their way along her form.

Kara soundlessly screamed as her hair curled into a solid mold atop her head, followed by a heavy weight settling itself atop her scalp. Though she couldn’t see it, she knew it had to be a thick metal hat settling atop her scalp.

Vera laughed. “There, much better; don’t you think? Much more… obedient.” She placed Kara on the ground, letting Kara’s wound key go.

A voice entered the transformed girl’s aching head. It was calming, soothing, and only said three words: 'Turn. March. Salute.'

Before Kara really knew what she was doing, she spun on the spot, marching stiffly to the end of the tree that used to be her closest friend. "Wh-what's going-"

Turn. March. Salute.

"-on?" She asked, finding her right arm was already raised in a stiff toy's salute. She glared at the offending limb, willing to move it down-

Turn. March. Salute.

-and she succeeded in doing an about-face, stiffly marching to the other side of the tree. She ratcheted up another salute, idly wondering why she'd hated the motion a few moments ago.

Turn. March. Salute.

After all, it wasn't like there was anything wrong with marching like this, with giving herself completely-

Turn. March. Salute.

These weren't her thoughts. A spike of fear shot into her heart-

Turn. March. Salute.

Only to be replaced with that blank rhythm once more.

Turn. March. Salute.

Kara found herself smiling genuinely, even though it didn't change her painted lips one bit.

Turn. March. Salute.

It was so easy to lose herself, to let go and become just an object.

Turn. March. Salute.

She was a good toy soldier.

Turn. March. Salute.

It was a good toy soldier.

Turn. March. Salute.

It was

Turn. March. Salute.

It. Turn. March. Salute. Was.

Turn. March. Salute.

Turn. March. Salute.

Jason watched with impotent rage as another of his friends lost their humanity. Kara was teetering around aimlessly like some sort of wind-up doll; marching back and forth endlessly and obediently.

“You bitch.” He looked at Vera with a glare. “What the hell are you getting out of this?”

“Me?” Vera laughed. “Eternal life and a steady source of income. All in exchange for working one day a year. And letting some of you give up your humanity for me, of course.” She played her fingers along her lower lip, looking at Jason with intrigue.

“What?” Jason muttered, his heart already sinking.

“I think I know just the perfect form for you and your little girlfriend. You do want to keep your friends company, right? I think this will work just fine.”

“What will…” Jason found himself trailing off as his clothing began to change in appearance. Where once he had a polo shirt and jeans; he now sported a green elf costume, complete with the little skirt.

“I really hope that’s a unisex outfit…” Jason muttered idly. As he spoke, his chest began to ache, and the young man groaned as his chest began to expand into a luscious pair of breasts.

“Guess that answers that.” Jason said dismally. He noticed how his skin was smoothing out, his hairs simply vanishing from his skin. Then he began to feel an ache between his legs.

Jason whimpered a little but found himself frozen, unable to do anything but feel his testicles slide back into his body. His dick followed a moment later, and the new woman breathed a sigh of relief as the discomfort ebbed to a distant memory.

“Jason? Are you okay?” Jessie’s eyes were wide as she looked at her now-girlfriend.

“Yeah, I think so.” Jason noticed how light her voice sounded, and she brushed her hair behind one of her elongated ears. “I mean… I don’t think that this will be too much of a…” She trailed off as Jessie fell to her hands and knees.

A pang of concern went through James’s heart, and she looked at her girlfriend worriedly. “Jessie? Is something wrong?”

“Jessie? Is something wrong?” James’s voice seemed to echo in Jessie’s ears.

“Yes, I’m just—I’m not doing this!” She yelped aloud, her heart hammering. Vera had said the perfect form for the two of them—form being singular. Was she going to become James’s workbench? A prop for the elf to use?

Jessie didn’t need to contemplate things much longer, her head lowering as she charged directly at Jason’s back. Her head made contact with the small of his back, then disappeared. Well, it didn’t so much disappear as it was absorbed into his back, like dipping her head into a body of water.

Only this ‘dip’ felt permanent, her whole body stiffening with shock as she felt her mind briefly overwhelm her girlfriend’s. She could feel the elf body as her own, and feel her human body continuing to press into it; arms and hands melding with Jason’s legs to give her a set of forelegs.

Their front feet cramped, and the paired elf-human hybrid let out a gasp as they felt their skin hardening. They watched in shock as their feet became hooves, bursting from their shoes in an ever-expanding mass of enamel.

Then their head ached again. Jessie whimpered, covering their head. She could feel her mind and Jason’s mind beginning to blend together, their memories and thoughts twisting into a new form. Her mind raced; was she still Jason—or rather, Jessie?

She couldn’t tell; she had both of their thoughts… So maybe she was both of them. Lindsay had always called the couple ‘Jacey’. Now that they were one person… Yes, Jacey found this acceptable. She lifted a hoof experimentally; slamming it to the ground a moment later as her back feet twisted into hooves.

Her nostrils expanded and she snorted, crossing her eyes to look at the darkening mass that was her new nose. “Great, so I’m going to be some reindeer-taur?” She frowned as her ears tilted to points, sliding up her head.

“I could get used to that.” Jacey admitted a moment later, twitching her ear contemplatively. The shock of the two humans’ minds merging was enough to override her fear and panic. Now she was just looking out for number one.

“Yeah? Well sorry, we’re not done yet.” Vera shrugged. “Can’t make living things with my magic, not if I want to stay hired.”

“Oh?” Jacey frowned, shaking out her hindquarters as it expanded into a deer’s rump. Hairs grew all along the length of her cervine hindquarters, and she snorted again. “Then why change me into this first?”

Vera grinned. “A hunch. You’re neither Jason nor Jessie. Meaning their friends weren’t really yours.”

“Go on.” Jacey inclined her head slightly. The woman had a point. Sure, it sucked that all of those girls had been transformed. But then again, Jacey didn’t know any of them, not really. Her conflicting sets of memories left a distinct lack of fondness for the bunch. The only ones she really liked were Jason and Jessie, and as long as Jacey played her cards right, they’d be fine.

“Well. I could use someone to walk around this shop and dust the trinkets off from time to time. You’ll retain your mobility, but get the added benefit of not needing to eat, sleep, or age. Sound like a deal?” Vera grinned.

“Maybe.” Jacey grinned back. “But let’s see if you’re capable of this first, before—ooh.” A blank fog had settled in across her mind, leaving her adrift in a sea of empty pleasure.

“Like that? It’s only going to get better.” Vera smiled, stroking a hand along Jacey’s flank.

The half-deer girl groaned, feeling her muscles tingle and reshape into cogs and gears. She looked down to her arms, seeing them become what looked to be a soft rubber, like smooth and flowing latex. Jacey tried flexing her arms, hearing a faint whirring beneath the surface of her skin.

“Interesting.” Jacey smiled, testing her arms a little more. She then looked at Vera curiously. “What now?”

Vera smiled back at her plaything. She didn’t know what it was that motivated her to make the two into a companion; but it should make the off-season much more interesting. “Now?” Vera waved the tauric reindeer back with a small smile.

“Now I do my job.” She shook her hair out behind her with a confident smile. Already she could feel her body beginning to change; that annual shift marked by her last victim’s transformation. Small hairs were pushing their way from every inch of her skin, covering her in a luxurious coat of soft fur.

Vera sent a slight glance to Jacey to find a perplexed look on the tauric girl’s face. Looks like Jacey would need more of an explanation. “There’s one day every year where I’m not Vera; my one day at work.” As the woman spoke, she slipped off her dress, revealing her mahogany fur.

Vera fell to all fours, her hands and feet cramping in that familiar sense of change. She looked down to find them hardening into hooves, thick and ebony enamel covering skin in instants. “On this one day…” Vera counted quietly, timing the next change.

Sure enough, her face started to press out; right on schedule. “You can call me Vixen.” Vera smiled at the stunned animatronic reindeer-girl before her. The look on Jacey’s face was almost worth these hundreds of years of service; which was saying a lot.

“Wait… So you… Wait… What?”

Vera shook her head out, a pair of antlers growing from her skull. “Yeah, keep staring.” She muttered around her growing muzzle. She never did like how blocky her teeth got at this part. On the other hand, they were better for eating apples…

On that thought, her mouth watered. “Hey, Jacey. There’s a fridge in the ‘Employees Only’ part of this store. Get us a pair of apples, will you?” Vera grinned, flicking her tail from side to side as it grew out from her bottom.

Jacey nodded obediently, trotting off to the back room as Vera’s arms and legs lengthened. She was a good kid; Vera might be able to teach her a thing or two. Come to think of it, why hadn’t she done this before? She could use a few more familiars around the house…

Vera’s body rippled out as her torso expanded; her body inflating moments later to give her a reindeer’s belly and flanks. She groaned a little as her breasts sank into her body; Vera never could stand that part of her changes.

Jacey came back into the room a few moments later, her eyes wide as saucers. “It’s so big back there! You didn’t say there’d be a whole house!” She held out an apple and Vera promptly began to crunch on it happily.

“Well, yeah.” Vera muttered between mouthfuls. “What did you expect? I’m not a nun… Anymore.” She winked at Jacey’s slack-jawed expression. “Tell you later.” She bit into the rest of her apple, giggling as Jacey took the first bite of hers.

“Be sure not to eat too much. I’m not sure how well you can convert food to energy.” Vera sniggered as the reindeer-girl bobbed her head. “And try not to break anything. I’ll be back in a day.”

Vera smiled to herself as she trotted out from the room, passing through her concealed ‘reindeer door’. What would she be doing with Jacey? Keep her as an assistant? Make her a pet? A plaything? She’d make up her mind when it came to that. For now, she’d just make it through working on Christmas, and cook up some ideas for next year.
