I grinned, practically bouncing on my heels as Joan and Trent took their TransFun serums. It turned out inviting Trent along for one of our TransFun weekends was one of the best ideas ever—mostly because he brought along his friend Mitch. Where in the hell were they hiding him?
I thought I had some great ideas for pranks, but the ideas Mitch could cook up beneath his curly head of hair... Come to think of it, that was probably a good reason for Joan and Trent to keep us apart. Still, this weekend was going to be their first TransFun weekend together, and they each insisted on having a friend along.
The best part was, apparently we’d all had some experiences with the serums, so we didn’t have to worry about the stress of dealing with our first times. Joan had her weekend as a spider, Trent had apparently been an eagle for a few days, and Mitch... Mitch wasn’t really keen on sharing what he’d been. To be fair, I didn’t want to either, insisting that Joan keep it a secret. I really didn’t want Mitch to know that I’d had sex with a horse before—much less Trent’s.
And on the note of that little gender swap: this was my chance for revenge. Mitch was doing a much better job of hiding his mirth, winking at me conspiratorially. I’d been trying to think of a way to get Joan back for unlocking the door to Missy’s stall back at her farm, and Mitch had a perfect idea. I’d swapped vials with him, then switched that with Joan’s—leaving her with a male serum and Trent with a female dose.
The changes should be pretty obvious, since Joan would be growing antlers soon. We’d planned on being deer for this weekend, taking some time to enjoy the woods by Joan’s place. There was no better place for it—hunting was strictly prohibited out here, and it was private property, to boot! It was just the four of us, and Mitch and I grinned at each other as we drank our own vials, ready for the fun to begin.
Sure enough, a few moments later Joan sprouted antlers. She brushed her hand against them, a smile on her face. “Oh, great, it’s already started!” She said with a smile, undoing her button-down shirt.
I arched an eyebrow at her, grinning mischievously. “Uhm, Joan? You know that female deer don’t have antlers, right?”
“Yeah, and?” Joan slipped out of her pants, watching as her new equipment grew in. “Oh, wow, this is nice.” She cooed gently, trailing her hardening fingers along her shaft.
Wait. What? Mitch looked just as confused as I did. “Um, Trent, you know that your girlfriend’s becoming a guy, right?”
We looked over to him to find himself gently teasing his new vagina. “Huh? Oh, yeah. Why do you ask?”
My jaw fell slack and I found myself at a loss for words as Joan and Trent kissed, their noses rounding out and darkening. She’d always said that he was willing to experiment, but I’d never imagined he’d be okay with... that!
Wait... but if she was expecting to become a stag, then... My hands flew to my head, and I yelped as I felt my fingers touched something hard, yet covered in velvet. I continued to rub at my growing antlers for a few seconds, until Joan started laughing.
“Oh my God—did you try and switch our samples?” She glanced to Trent, then the two of them turned to Mitch.
He was fumbling with his pants, fumbling at his shrinking package. “Oh no no no no!” He shouted, watching it sink back into him. “Damn it, not again!”
“Again?” I couldn’t help but ask, eager to get the attention off of me as I tried to yang my tank top off of my antlers.
“Don’t you dare, Trent!” Mitch gasped, his face turning pale. He looked back to me worriedly, opening his mouth to say something else.
“Yeah, Mitch here spent a weekend as a mare on the ranch. So I guess those introductions weren’t really necessary as—ow!” Trent barely blocked one of Mitch’s shoes.
“We promised not to talk about that!” Mitch said, glaring angrily. He tried to grab something else to pick up, but his hands changed to hooves before he could get them around anything.
“Wait.” I finally started connecting the dots. “Mitch wasn’t happened to have been called ‘Missy’, would he?” My blood seemed torn between rushing between my face and my growing equipment, and to my horror I found the latter to be winning the battle.
Of course Joan noticed, because she grinned impishly. “Oh, you remember Missy, eh ‘Hans’?” She stressed the name, winking at me.
Trent snickered with laughter, and I followed his gaze to find the reason why. Mitch seemed to be having some sort of minor meltdown, his hooves in the air as he mimed connecting the dots.
“Wha-wha-hold on—wha?” Mitch managed, his mouth twitching as his face flickered between shock, relief, distress, happiness, gut-wrenching sorrow—Trent laughed and tossed a marshmallow at his head.
“Having some trouble there, sport? Look on the bright side, at least you technically didn’t sleep with a guy.” Trent said.
Mitch blinked rapidly, holding up a hoof to forestall further comments. “No, no, hold on. I get that. But... what?”
My cheeks burned with embarrassment as I looked at him. “So I forgot that stallions are male horses! It’s an easy mistake anyone could make!”
I looked around for agreement, but even Mitch was giving me a vacant stare. Okay, so maybe it was common knowledge. Thanks for the mental support, team. I sighed, and Mitch slid a little closer to me, patting my arm with one of his hooves.
“Don’t worry about it. If it helps.” He bit his lower lip nervously. “You were pretty great that night.” It came out in a rush, and he stared at the ground as though it was the most interesting thing in the world.
“I know.” I said, grinning from ear to ear. “But thank you anyway.” I kissed Mitch on the cheek and he jumped in surprise.
“Wha—?” His hoof flew to where I kissed him, and he grunted in distress.
I laughed at how red his face was getting. “Something wrong? We’ve already slept with each other, what’s wrong with a kiss?”
His face turned even redder. “Oh my God we totally have.” He hugged himself tightly, rocking back and forth. “Does that count? Not really, right? I mean...”
Trent sighed, stretching out his back as he got on all fours. “Don’t worry about him, he’s always been kind of a prude. Something about saving himself for someone special.” Joan’s boyfriend grunted as his back popped in several places, and it looked like it was easier for him to stand on his hooves. “Hey, watch this. Yo, Mitch! Does that mean that you think Hannah here isn’t special?”
Huh. Apparently the prankster was an angel deep down, and the model boyfriend was actually a devil.
Mitch immediately stopped, blinking several times in distress. “No—I mean—Hannah’s just—I’m not—ah!”
I laughed, kissing him again. I didn’t think it was possible for his face to redden even further, but it did. Luckily for him, soft brown fur covered his cheeks, covering his embarrassment. Actually, was it even right to think of Mitch as a guy? What if...
“Easy there, Missy.” I said, hugging her tightly. “One way or another, you’re with me now.”
Trent grinned, padding behind Joan to hug her with his forelimbs. She looked at him, then grinned behind her growing muzzle. She darted forward, then nimbly danced around him to hug him instead. “I’m the man in this relationship now, sweetie.”
“Oh really?” Trent grinned despite himself, tossing his—her ears. “Well then, what should I call you?”
“How about Jan?” Joan nibbled her lover’s ear, grinning as she shook beneath her stag.
“Nah, Jan and Hans? Therrnts—crap!” She gasped. “John!” She exclaimed, her last human word for the night.
John nodded at that, his neck stretching out just as Trent’s had. John tried to say something else, but only a bellow came out from his throat.
“John and... Trina?” I offered helpfully, running my furry right arm along my left. Trina frowned, but John bobbed his head encouragingly, licking his doe’s muzzle. I looked to Missy with a grin.
She sighed, settling back into my embrace. Our forms expanded, the soft white fur on my growing chest a good balance to her brown hairs. I pouted as she slid out from under me, having to get on all fours, but then she nuzzled me affectionately and my brief concerns were forgotten.
I took our brief separation to look at her. It was probably because I was a stag, but she looked so small, delicate. It was hard to believe that she was a man a few moments before. Her gentle brown fur looked invitingly soft, and I started to trot towards her, pleased with how this weekend was going.
Then something clacked against my horns, and I fell on my backside, hooves flailing in the air as I tried to right myself. My hips cracked and I managed to roll onto my side just in time for a tail to pop out from the back of my spine. I scrambled to all fours, looking for the source of whatever hit me. John was standing just in front of where I had been moments before, and I looked him over.
Earlier I’d been too busy looking at my own changes to notice his, but now I could see that John was one hell of an animal. His antlers were long and branched, and he was just—big! I mean, I was too, but I still didn’t expect how large a fully grown stag looked. Was I that large as a stallion? Surely I had to have been larger, this body felt strong, but it didn’t have the same bulk I was offered as a horse. John looked almost sleek—even his antlers had a smooth curve to them.
In contrast, the girls seemed... smaller. I don’t know if I would have been okay with becoming a doe, they were half our size! And speaking of size... I flicked my eyes downward for a moment, frowning as I saw how small our equipment was. Well, it was probably large in comparison to a human’s, but compared to a horse’s... John grunted, and I realized I was staring. I hurriedly brought my attention back to him, tilting my head inquisitively.
John seemed to smile as he jerked his head towards Missy. Right! I nodded, starting to trot towards her. My nose pushed out into a cervine muzzle, and sure enough, I could smell that Missy was in heat again. Maybe that would be our ‘thing’, I thought, getting closer to her. I stopped as John darted in front of me, his horns clacking against mine. He shook his head, grunting, and I realized that he was making the deer approximation of a chuckle.
Was—was he challenging me for her? That selfish jerk, he already had a girl of his own! I shook out my head, my flanks shuddering as I stood taller. This was different from being a horse, but I was still undeniably strong. Even if John instinctively knew how to control his new body, I was more experienced on all fours.
If he wanted a fight, I’d be glad to give him one! I gauged my strength, preparing to charge into John. Trina interceded, slowing my run to a stuttering halt. She was just as small as Missy, though the fire in her eyes lended her a weight of authority. She pointed her right forehoof at our campsite; then stomped it on the ground, looking at both of us angrily.
John’s ears flattened, as did mine. Trina was right, we couldn’t do this here—if we ruined our spare clothes, our walk back would be a good deal more uncomfortable. Still, John had issued a challenge, and I wasn’t going to take that lying down. I jerked my head towards the trees. We’d find a clearing, then settle things there.
I tested out my new muscles, darting forward in search of a good place to fight. There—to the left! I bounded to its edge, spinning to find John at the other end. All right, time to settle this. My ears flicked forward, and I could feel the hairs along my back stand on edge with anticipation.
I let out a challenging bellow, and John answered with one of his own. Adrenaline coursed through my body, and I scuffed at the ground, my every muscle tensed. I then shook my head, waving my antlers in the air so he could get a better look at them. John was definitely an intimidating sight, but if he looked impressive, then so should I. He roared again, louder this time. My ears twitched as I picked up the sound of fluttering birds.
Our does poked their heads form the brush, watching us from the safety of the clearing’s edge. Not one to be outdone in front of Missy, I gave voice to another shout, lowering my antlers as I glared up at John, making sure he was square between them. He mimicked my action, then we charged.
We crossed the distance separating us in an instant, our horns crashing together with a loud crash. I could feel the impact in my neck, my shoulders, and I almost laughed at how soft it felt. However, that meant that John also didn’t feel anything. I broke the lock first, bounding back to wheel around for another charge.
An excited yip came from the sidelines, and I could see Missy and Trina urging us on, each of them supporting their respective stag. Now I could see the appeal of cheerleaders—having someone to fight for completely refilled my strength. I bellowed again, charging at John.
He wasn’t completely ready for me this time, and our antlers crashed together with another loud clack. I could feel this one a little more, though it wasn’t as bad as a headbutt. I decided to seize the initiative, digging my hooves into the dirt as I started to push against John.
He grunted in surprise, and Trina yelped in distress as he started to slide backwards, his hooves scrabbling for purchase. One of his rear hooves caught on something, and his nostrils widened with triumph, now able to fight back.
Our eyes narrows, and we snorted in unison, wrestling against one another. No matter how I tried to shift my horns for better leverage, John was able to counter my movement, shifting his weight to better balance himself. After a few minutes of struggling, we tossed our heads in the same direction, breaking the lock. Hurriedly, both of us scrambled away, worried the other would make a move. Trina and Missy let out small bellows excitedly. I wanted to charge again, but that wrestling match really took a lot out of me. Luckily, John seemed to be winded too, and we paused, catching our breath.
I looked him over as I did, coming up with various strategies. If we kept wrestling this way, we’d go nowhere fast, wrestling until well into the day. And while it would be great to triumph over John like this, I really wanted to get busy with Missy. She yipped again from the side—at least, it sounded like her. Not my fault that deer sound extremely similar. Then Trina yipped as well, and I could see John had recovered. We slowly circled around each other, trying to find any advantage we could get.
Then, John made the first move. He bellowed loudly, his antlers lowered as he charged again. It was like he was a knight prepared to joust, ready to clash his lance against mine. No doubt he was calling upon his years of horseback riding in this, fully prepared to win it here. I could see his every muscle tense in preparation for the collision.
That was his problem. The lips of my muzzle pulled back into a grin. John might know how to ride a horse, but I knew how to be one. And being a stag was almost no different; the biggest change was that I had a new set of antlers.
I lowered my own head, charging forward a few feet, then kicking my legs to the left, dodging out of the way in a perfect feint. John barreled past me, confused by my actions. Just I predicted, he knew how to charge, but the subtleties of turning quickly had flown over his head. Looks like training me to be ridden was a bad idea, eh? He stumbled into an awkward trot, his hooves digging deeply into the turf. Too late, John realized that he should have kept going.
His desperate attempt to slow himself had left him wide open, and I had already turned. Turning as a deer was even easier than turning as a horse! My smaller, lighter frame carried no less muscle—it was like the difference between a football player and a soccer player!
I darted forward, tilting my head so that my antlers were almost at a right angle to the ground. I built up just enough speed so I could reach John before he could react. He grunted as my antlers pushed into his side, and with that, I dug my forehooves into the ground, heaving upward with my back and legs. John’s grunt turned into a comical yelp of surprise, and his hooves left the ground as I sent him skyward.
He landed on the ground with a thud, and I darted back to him, planting my hoof atop him with a triumphant shout. Absently, I glanced down to his fur, breathing a small sight of relief when I saw there wasn’t a trace of blood on them. For a moment, I was worried my horns had grown sharper after I lost the ability to feel them.
A doe came prancing up to me, and I yipped excitedly as I recognized Missy’s scent. We nuzzled, brushing our fuzzy cheeks against one another as John stumbled to his feet. He shook out his head, and Trina darted up to him, licking his muzzle with concern. Once she saw that he was fine, her licking went a good deal southward.
Missy and I stared with wide eyes as Trina licked her lover to attention in front of us. John grunted at me, raising his eyebrows suggestively. He let out another contented groan, and I looked back to Missy with wide, pleading eyes. There had to be something we could do besides just sit here and watch this!
She nodded, bounding forward a little. When I didn’t immediately follow, she paused, looking at me and flicking her head as though she was asking me to join her. Well, worth a shot. I followed her back to our campsite, where she paused, looking at our camping equipment.
I grunted quizzically, and she ignored me for a moment, burying her snout in the clothing bags. Well, that was rude. I trotted over to her, grunting again. Her ears flicked slightly, then she pulled out some clothes and tossed them to the side. I looked closer at them—plaid button-up shirt, khaki jeans; weren’t those Trent’s?
Missy grunted triumphantly, then pranced towards them, raising her rear in my direction and waggling her tail suggestively. Ohhh—clever! I darted over to Joan’s clothes, pulling them out and tossing them atop Trent’s. And with that, the preparations were complete.
I grinned from ear to ear, needing no ministrations from Missy to be at full attention. Maybe it was the thought of some more revenge, maybe it was Missy’s quivering vagina, ready to accept my shaft in a tight—who was I kissing, it was totally the second part.
I leapt upon Missy, finding my mark on barely the first thrust. She grunted, then let out a low, content moan as I got to work. Just like before, having sex as a man was incredible! I always thought that it would be tiring to do most of the work, but this was damned satisfying.
We bellowed loudly, the pair of us reaching sex’s messy end after a few minutes of passion. We were able to finish faster this time, the two of us accustomed to having sex this way. Hopefully, Trisha and John would still be having sex for a little bit.
I quickly got off Missy, wiping myself off on the clothing, then picking it up in my mouth. I ignored the taste, hurriedly tucking Joan’s clothing in its bag. I glanced back to Missy to find she’d done the same, and the two of us grunted with laughter, both of us excited to by our little prank.
Missy grunted, looking between my legs. I blinked, then realized I was excited in a different way! I guess deer were as virile as horses. Missy waggled her rear and I shook my head, pointing back to the woods. We had to get away from here, so that they wouldn’t suspect us!
I started to run; then the aching in my loins reminded me of our other, more pressing needs. Eh, a few yards out from the camp was fine. Missy yelped with surprise as I stopped, darting behind her to resume our lovemaking. This time was tenderer than the last, the two of us feeling no need to hurry. Instead, we focused on brining each other to greater and greater amounts of pleasure.
Missy was particularly sensitive to being nibbled behind her ears, and she caught on quickly that I enjoyed her bellowing louder and louder the more I pleasured her. I wanted the whole forest to listen to the sounds of our lovemaking, for every animal—especially the other deer—to know how good of a job I was doing.
We continued to go at it for what must have been hours, finally settling down when our muscles started to ache. The last of Trina’s cries echoed across the air, the perfect accompaniment to the fading sun. I leaned down, nuzzling he small doe and licking her face all over. She retuned my licks, her wet tongue pleasantly cooling over my sweat-soaked form.
We heard a faint snuffling to our right, and turned to find John and Trina quaking with laughter. I felt Missy tense up beneath me as she noticed then, and I nibbled at her neck comfortingly. It didn’t calm her completely, but it calmed her enough to stand beside me. She nuzzled me affectionately, and I rubbed my cheek against hers.
John let out a bellow, turning to run deeper into the woods with Trina. Missy and I paused; then we followed them into what was sure to be another great adventure.
