(Man to Female Zora)

“Hey, so do you want to hang out later today?”  Greg asked.  I groaned inwardly, there was nothing I’d want less in this world, save maybe spending another few hours at this convention.  Of course, convention wasn’t too apropos a term, it was more of a comic show, which of course just meant a bunch of people shopping around for comic books and various memorabilia.
“I’m can do that, yeah.”  I muttered distractedly, glancing at one of the cosplayers.  Comic show or not, some people were in costume. Of them, the more attractive ones were the only reason why I hadn’t bailed within minutes of arrival.
“Great!”  Greg grinned from ear to ear.
“No, you misunderstand.  I can do that, but I won’t.”  I said snarkily.  Greg’s face fell I almost felt bad.  Almost.  I’d learned early on in our friendship that he had a knack for acting upset.
“Dick.”  He chuckled, punching my arm.
"Hey, not my fault you assumed things.”  I laughed.  “It’s kind of like how that girl over there can have sex with me, but if I assumed she wanted to, I’d be in a fair amount of legal trouble.”  I gestured to a particularly attractive female Link cosplayer.  Genderbenders were never really my thing, but I had to admit, she pulled it off well.
“Jesus, why do I hang out with you again?”  He sighed; then his eyes widened.  “Oh great, she heard you.”
I looked up to find her walking our way, glaring angrily.  “Sorry, would you mind repeating that so I could hear it again?”  The girl glared venomous daggers at me.
“I would like to preface this by saying that I am deeply, deeply sorry.”  I began, holding up my hands calmingly.  “But you really manage to pull that off well, and I don’t think I can be blamed for wanting to have sex with someone as attractive as yourself.  And if I can be totally honest, I’d assume the same goes for you with me?”  It was worth a shot, she was pretty hot after all.
Her frown vanished, immediately replaced with a flirtatious grin.  “You ever hear that flattery will get you everywhere?”  She asked, tossing her hair over her shoulder.
“Once or twice.”  I grinned back, then jumped with surprise as she kissed me hard on the lips.
“Follow me.”  She winked, grabbing my left hand and pulling me towards the restrooms.
“Uh, bye Greg!”  I called over my shoulder, my right hand trailing over where she’d kissed me.  Sure enough, the skin there felt a little glossy, no doubt some trace residues of the lipstick she had on.  Well, looks like today wasn’t a total loss.
“Tom, you have the keys!”  He protested.  I dutifully ignored him, following the girl with glee.  Greg knew the rules, hos before bros.  Or something like that.
The Link cosplayer led me into the bathroom, her smile growing wider as she shoved me into a stall.
“Take your shirt off.”  She breathed into my ears, running her hands through my hair.  I grinned from ear to ear, obeying her eagerly.  I couldn’t believe this was really happening!
The girl grabbed my chest, massaging it.  The sensation felt odd and I considered telling her to stop, but then a surge of pleasure ran through my body, and I shut my eyes, letting her continue to run her hands along my body.  It felt amazing, her fingers kneading my flesh—it was almost like my chest was growing under her talented digits.
She pinched my nipples and I gasped at the sensation, squeezing my eyes tightly shut as an electric sensation ran through my body.  “Ohh, whatever you’re doing, keep doing it!”  I grinned, opening my eyes to look at her, then down at my chest.
My eyes widened as I saw a large pair of breasts hanging from my frame.  Hold on, that wasn’t right.  The second my eyes fell upon them, the skin started to change from my natural tone to a pale white.  I gasped, my hands flying to them.  The skin there felt... rubbery, almost elastic.  As I felt my new breasts, my nipples sank back into them, leaving me with smooth, unblemished skin.
“Wh-what’s going on?”  I asked, looking up at the cosplayer with wide eyes.
“Oh, I’m sorry, I must have assumed.”  She grinned evilly.
“Assumed wha-aat!”  My voice rose to a high yelp as I felt my ‘goods’ withdraw into my body, leaving me with what was no doubt female equipment.
“Um.  Crap.”  She muttered, rubbing her arm anxiously.
I felt my own arms begin to change, and I looked to them to watch a pair of blue fins burst from my forearms.  I shouted in surprise, then glared at her, rubbing by new appendages anxiously.  They were a little rougher than my chest, but still sleeker than human skin by far.  “What do you mean, ‘crap’?”  My voice sounded softer now, with a distinctly melodic inflection.
“I was kind of hoping you wouldn’t call me out on that.”  She stuck her tongue out teasingly.
I opened my mouth to say something rather untoward, then gasped as my torso constricted, slimming down even as my hips flared out.  My feet started to ache, and I hurriedly undid my shoes, gasping at hoe bloated they seemed.  I hurriedly slipped off my socks to find that I no longer had toes—a pair of blue flippers having replaced them.
“Oh, wait!”  The girl clapped her hands.
I looked up to her pleadingly, clutching my sides as a set of amphibian gills grew out along them.
“I must have assumed you liked looking at cosplayers so much, you might as well be able to look at one... in... the... mirror...”  She trailed off, scowling.  “No, never mind, that’s rubbish.”
My ears started to ache, and I held on to them, trying to keep them from changing.  It didn’t do much, and I found my fingers losing their purchase as my ears took on that same rubbery texture.  I feltht them grow beneath my hands, lengthening until they were a pair of floppy appendages hanging from the top of my head, like some sort of hairless rabbit’s.
“I must have assumed... you’d appreciate the female form?”  The girl muttered, now not even looking at me as I transformed.
I glanced at the backs of my hands and arms, my skin changing from cream to azure.  Absently, I noticed that while the fins on my arm seemed to have scales, the rest of the skin was more natural, albeit smoother.  I pinched it, finding it to be somewhat elastic as well.
“I must have—”
“Shut up, shut up, shut up!”  I shouted, my eyes tearing up as I felt my face slim, my eyes expanding slightly and jaw shrink.
“Oh, sorry, I guess you’d be a bit sore, eh?  Get it?  It sounds like Zora, which is what—man, I am really off my game today.”  The girl frowned, tapping her foot against the ground.
Again my reply was cut off as I felt a pulling on the back of my head.  My hands flew back to find that the back of my skull was stretching out from the rest of my body, a fin at the end of its elongated tip.  It almost was like a fish’s tail.
“Either way, you’re almost done.”  She shrugged winking at me.
Almost done?  What was left?  My feet tingled again, and I watched as the skin there thickened, turning a dark turquoise as mottled spikes grew along the top edges of my feet.  The tingling continued along the backs of my calves and thighs, striking my shoulders next.  I watched in a mixture of horror and awe as what looked to be a set of subdermal shoulder plates formed, gentle curved belying their toughness.
“Aand done!”  The Link cosplayer chirped with a wink.
“W-what am I?”  I gasped, running my hands along my supple form.  “Is that my voice?”  I gasped.  Each word carried a rippling, almost musical tone to it, and it was softer and silkier than any human voice I’d heard.
“You’re a Zora, duh?”  She arched an eyebrow, looking at me as though I was dense.
“A what?”  I looked up to her with a frown.
Her other eyebrow joined the first.  “Have—have you not played The Legend of Zelda?”  Again, she spoke as if I was somehow unclean for not knowing what I’d become.
“Just Smash Brothers.”  I said defensively.
“Hoboy.”  She sighed.  “Well, you’re stuck as one now, so...”  The girl leaned back out of the stall to make sure nobody had walked in; then she chopped at the air.  It rippled where she’d chopped, and I watched in surprise as she stuck her arm into what had to be some kind of portal.
She grinned, pulling out a duffel bag.  “You have a TV?  You play Smash, of course you have a TV.  Here.”  She tossed it in my lap, and I caught it, huffing in surprise at its weight.
“I’m taking this as collateral by the way.”  The girl picked up my shirt and tossed it into her portal.  She zipped it up as an afterthought, looking at me expectantly.
I looked down to the bag, opening one of the zippers to find what looked to be a bunch of Nintendo consoles.
“Games are in the next pouch, get busy playing.  I imagine you’ll be indoors a lot from now on, so playing them won’t be too much trouble.  If you ever get stuck, my card’s in there, text me.  I assume you’ll need help.”  She shot me a challenging smile, taking a step back to admire her handiwork.
“Will-will you change me back if I do?”  I pleaded, looking at her uncomfortably.
She tapped her lip, grinning impishly.
Somehow I knew what she was going to say before her lips even parted.
Her grin grew wider as she spoke.  “I can do that, yeah.”
