(Man to Kimono, Caucasian Woman to Asian Woman)
Japan was a really beautiful place. Ryan looked around, grinning at the blossoms on the trees, on the pavement, in his girlfriend’s hair... He laughed at Cass as she dusted off her head for the hundredth time.
“Honey, I don’t know why we decided to go outside...” She looked at him, a frown on her face. Ever since they landed in Japan, people had been staring at her for her red hair, a trait inherited from her Irish mother.
She’d been against the trip at first, but he’d convinced her after some time and begging. Eventually she agreed upon it, thinking that the couple could use some time together. But, as she’d made abundantly clear, that didn’t mean she had to like it.
“We decided to go outside because this is a historical tour, and we should mix up the shopping with some sightseeing?” Ryan glanced down to Cass, wrapping an arm around her protectively. He noticed someone trying to snap a quick pic and sent them running with a hard look. “Damn right, you’d better run!” He shouted at them in broken Japanese.
They’d both taken a crash course in the language, but it stuck better with Ryan than with Cass. That suited them fine; they were going to see everything together anyways. Even if Cass was regretting that decision now... Ryan hugged her tighter, trying to cheer her up.
“Look on the bright side. After this tour, we can go and have some more... private activities.” He winked at her.
Cass looked up, a devious smile on her face. “You know, you can just say ‘sex’. It’s not like anyone here will understand us.”
The elderly pair behind them chuckled a little, and Ryan flushed slightly. “I wouldn’t be too sure about that.” He muttered, waving at the duo. To their credit, they waved back in a cheerful manner, though the grandmotherly woman sniggered in an entirely un-grandmotherly manner.
“Meh.” Cass chirped, following Ryan’s suit and waving at the pair. She paused, a slow smirk running across her face as she snapped her gaze back to Ryan. He swallowed, that was never a good sign. Usually when she got one of those looks it meant that she’d thought of something devilish.
“What’re you scheming?” He hissed, hoping to pre-empt any further embarrassment.
Cass’s smile grew wider as her emerald eyes met his curious blue stare. “We don’t need to wait for the hotel, you know.” She kept her voice mercifully low, but anyone around them would have been able to guess her response by the way Ryan stiffened, in more ways than one.
“What are you talking about?” Ryan hissed again, trying to keep his cheeks from turning as red as her hair.
“I think you know.” She smiled, grabbing his hand. Cass slowed her pace, and Ryan was forced to follow until they were in the back of the tour group. He briefly considered fighting back, but he knew that arguing with her was pointless.
Cass looked up at him, a devilish grin on her face. “Are you ready?” Mischief twinkled in her eyes, and Ryan felt his resistance crumbling away. She knew that he couldn’t resist her when she got like this. They quietly slipped away, and Ryan grinned at the old couple from before as they gave him a conspiratorial wink. Japanese people really were friendly.
“So, anywhere you have in mind?” Ryan glanced from side to side, seeing plenty of possible hiding places. There was under a bridge, behind those sakura trees, over by... His eyes widened as he saw where Cass was leading him.
“Honey...” Ryan warned, looking up at the building ahead of them.
“Mn?” She didn’t even bother forming a sentence, so purpose-driven was she. When she got in the mood, she really got in the mood... But still, that had to be off-limits. It was a ceremonial building, marble and stone paving an impressive wooden structure. The only reason for such a shrine to be there would be for religious purposes, maybe even a grave.
“Cass, we can’t go in there, it’s got to be some kind of mausoleum or something.” Ryan frowned, looking at her angrily.
“It’s totally not!” She chirped, pointing to the sign before it. “The tour guide definitely didn’t say anything relating to death about this.” She grinned triumphantly as Ryan frowned. Loathe though he was to admit it, she was completely right. He’d said something about it being a religious shrine, which only made matters worse. One of Cass’s most private desires was to have sex in a church.
Still, this wasn’t exactly a church... Ryan opened his mouth to protest, but Cass pre-empted him by pulling her top a little down so he could see. Sure enough, she wasn’t wearing a bra. Ryan sighed inwardly, feeling all thoughts of protest dying from his lips. One of these days, he’d need to find a way to win arguments against her.
But for now... He glanced left, than right, pulling her inside once he was sure nobody was watching.
“Oh, so now you’re into-mmph!” Case blinked as Ryan cut her off with a kiss.
“It’s not my fault.” He wrapped his arms around her, tossing his hat to the side of the room. “You just happen to be very persuasive.” He finished the sentence with a grin, a grin that quickly faded as he noticed a pedestal in the room, a small tablet on top of it.
“What?” Cass turned, following his gaze. “Oh, forget about that. It’s probably just local superstition.”
“Yeah, but this could be someone’s grave.” Ryan walked away from his girlfriend, inspecting the stone. There was a lot of writing on it, and he’d been terrible at reading Japanese. “I think it says something about chastity?” He turned to find Cass right beside him, that devilish grin on her face.
“Well, I doubt that anyone worth burying here would be named that, so I think we’re in the clear.” She kissed him again, and Ryan immediately forgot about all superstitions and spirituality—now was the time for physicality. “We took this vacation to be closer, you know. So...” Cass trailed off, her grin widening as Ryan smiled back.
“Oh, I can see myself all over you.” Ryan grinned, kissing Cass hard on the lips.
She chuckled, opening herself to him to deepen the kiss. Their tongues intertwined, and the pair of lovers frantically stripped, each eager to feel the warmth of the other’s body. They pulled apart for just a moment, Ryan catching a breath for air while Cass pulled her top off. She tossed it on the pile of their clothes, her flip-flops following it a moment later.
Cass pushed Ryan onto his back, enjoying how he shivered slightly as the skin on his back met cool marble. The redhead ran her hands down his body as she leaned back, pulling off his shoes and socks to join the rest of his clothes.
Their lips met again, the pair of lovers filling the air with husky moans. Ryan broke the kiss to look Cass in the eyes, her beautiful brown orbs that he’d—brown? He blinked, pulling away from her in confusion.
“Something the matter, handsome?” She breathed huskily, pushing her boyfriend onto his back to straddle him. She smiled, oblivious to the fact that her skin was now changing, her pale cream now shifting to a light golden tint.
It was like she was being sprayed with a tanning lotion, her skin changing its tone in an uncaring wave of transformation. Ryan grabbed her changing arm, feeling her skin become suppler, softer to his touch.
“Ryan, what’s wrong?” Cass asked, arching her eyebrows. She followed his gaze and gasped, her hand falling to her thigh as it tanned to a gorgeous shade reserved for actresses. She ran her fingers along her thigh, her face awe-struck. “W-what’s happening?” She stammered, getting off of Ryan to look at the rest of her body.
Ryan sent a nervous glance to the inscription, then quickly shook his head. There was no way, it had to be some sort of allergic reaction, some natural cause that was making her skin darker, her hair darken until it was a jet black.
Cass’s wide eyes pinched at their ends, becoming a little more angular in appearance. Her nose twitched as it shrank a little, a petite mark on her heart-shaped face. She then yelped out loud, and Ryan moved to help her.
“It—it feels like someone’s squeezing me!” She whined, hugging her nude body tightly as she shrank a few inches, now on the other end of the five-foot mark. Her arms and legs slimmed, and her chest shrank slightly while her bottom gained a gentler curve.
She opened one of her eyes, gasping for breath as she surveyed her new form. “I—I think it’s stopped.” She said in a breathless huff, brushing some of her hair behind her ear.
The half-Irish girl was now Japanese, and if Ryan was completely honest, she pulled off the look quite well. But right now she needed a companion, and not a lover. He walked over to her, hugging protectively. “Hey, it’s okay. You know I’ll always love you.” He smiled as he said it, then kissed her forehead.
She sniffled, burying her face against his chest. “W-what’s going on?”
“I don’t know, but—” Ryan fell silent. ‘At least it’s over’ was what he intended to say, but for some odd reason, his throat had fallen numb. Come to think of it, his entire body was numb... The world went white as he lost consciousness.
Cass yelped as Ryan fell in her arms, pulling her to the ground. “W-what’s wrong?” She stammered, hoping in vain that whatever magic had affected her wasn’t working its way across him.
She cried out in dismay as she saw that it was, his skin changing tone to a yellow as well. Only it didn’t stop at the same shade she was at, it continued until it was a striking shade of the color. Blue lines stood out on his skin, and for a moment, Cass thought his veins were somehow becoming more noticeable.
She looked closer, recognizing faint patterns, an occasional flower in the blue. She gasped, running her hand along his arm. It felt like... Stitching? She ran her hand along his skin again, realizing how much it felt like silk, not flesh.
Ryan’s legs melded together, flattening out to form what could have been a flat tail. Cass blinked; was he becoming some sort of mythological creature. If so, why wouldn’t he remain conscious during the changes?
Cass watched his hips widen and his shoulders pull in, giving him almost a womanly figure. His wrists and the long strip along his body that was his conjoined ankles changed to a light shade of blue, and Cass gasped as she realized that he was looking more and more like one of the kimonos she’d seen dotting streetside shops.
The second the realization passed through her mind, his head, his arms, his legs; all of them changed into the same blue along his wrists. Ryan’s body felt lighter, and his skin fell in like its contents had turned to air. Cass screamed, scrambling away from him, letting him fall to the floor. A seam appeared along his middle, a new blue stripe defining that division, even as the cloth parted to form a makeshift belt.
“Oh—oh God.” Cass muttered, breaking into hysteric sobs. She looked away, unwilling to watch the res of his changes, unwilling to do anything but... But be left alone, in a strange land, in a strange body, with no Ryan. She bit her lip, looking over to the article of clothing laying where her boyfriend had been.
Ryan awoke to the feeling of someone holding his body, a warmth spreading through him. He tried to open his eyes, but for some reason he couldn’t even lift his eyelids. Actually, he couldn’t feel any of his head, or anything.
Unbidden, an image of a kimono came into his mind, and he started inwardly. What was that? What was—memories flowed into him, and he watched himself change into a... a kimono? It looked like it was from Cass’s point of view, too.
Cass! She had to be the one who was holding him; was she okay? He strained to head her, knowing full well that clothing couldn’t do anything. Except feel, apparently: he could make out exactly how Cass was holding him, feel a dampness where her face was.
And if he could feel that, why couldn’t he hear? Wasn’t sound just vibrations? It didn’t make much sense, but neither did the undeniable fact that he was now a kimono. He mentally shut his eyes, straining what would be his ears. Just like that, he was able to make out Cass’s voice.
“W-what now?” Cass stammered, tears still running into Ryan’s body.. “I—I can’t even call for help, I don’t know what to do!” She slumped to the ground next to him, the black locks of her hair trailing along the part in his body.
Wait, he had a part? Did that mean he was split in two? No, there was no time to think about that, he had to focus on Cass. Ryan lamented his situation, unable to comfort her whatsoever. He started inwardly as her trembling hands stroked him, caressing the fabric of his new form.
She smoothed him out, then slipped one arm into him. It was incredible, a warmth that filled his entire arm. It was like he was gently holding onto her, but more than that—a comfort settling through his body as his purpose was achieved. Cass didn’t stop there, slipping her other arm in, her hands slipping him around her modest breasts.
No words were said as Cass finished putting Ryan on. No words needed to be, the two quietly soaking up each other’s company. Ryan hoped she was able to get some sort of comfort from wearing him, since he couldn’t help her otherwise.
Being worn by Cass was unlike anything Ryan had felt before. The smooth silk of his form wrapped around her smooth skin, framing her slender curves perfectly. He was closer to her than he’d ever been before, despite his lack of expression. Maybe that added to their intimacy, Ryan’s entire existence now devoted to being with her. Even his lack of sight played to that, having to form an image of her in his mind to better understand her.
Cass hugged herself tightly, and it was like he was embracing both her and himself at the same time.
“I just want to go home.” Cass muttered, in perfect Japanese. She jolted slightly, bringing her hand to her lips once more. “What did... What did I just say?”
Again, it was flawlessly intoned, beyond what Ryan had been able to do even after their months of classes. She started to hyperventilate, her brown eyes wide with shock. She’d always had panic attacks, and Ryan was always the one who was there to calm her down.
She needed him now, and he was unable to do anything for her. No, he couldn’t think that. He had to do something, had to let her know he was there. Ryan focused his entire being into saying a single word: ‘Cass’.
“R-Ryan?” Cass gasped, her gaze immediately snapping to the kimono she was wearing.
That was impossible; could she hear him somehow? ‘Cass?’ He tried concentrating on getting through to her again.
The girl hiccupped slightly with relief, tears of joy forming at the sides of her eyes. She hugged herself tightly, her hands balling around her kimono.
Ryan laughed, glad she knew he was there. ‘Hey, ease up a little!’ It didn’t feel unpleasant to have her holding onto him so tightly, but it was unnatural to feel his cloth rub against itself. Still, she deserved a hug.
Cass’s eyes widened as Ryan tightened around her slightly, fitting snug around her waist; almost as though he was hugging her. “R-Ryan, are you doing this?”
Abruptly the tension around her waist eased up. ‘Is this because you’re wearing me?’ He thought, doing his best to remain relaxed, to be as cloth-like as possible. Suddenly his lack of manhood relieved him, Cass not being aware of his sudden arousal.
“Um... Ryan? You’re kind of tightening around me... down there.” Her body grew hotter as she blushed, one of her hands rubbing against the area nervously. “N-now might not be the time for that.”
‘Um. Right.’ He felt himself loosen up around her as embarrassment and guilt filled his mind. It’s not like he could help it, cloth or not, he was still a man deep down! That said, being worn by her felt so good, and she certainly wasn’t making it any easier...
‘Wait... Try looking at that pedestal again!’ Ryan thought, partly because it was a good idea, partly to change the subject, mostly to distract himself.
Cass stood, dusting herself off lightly. Her delicate fingers caressed the silk of the kimono once more, and Ryan shuddered with bliss, his cloth rippling along Cass’s hips. Judging from how much of her he was able to feel, he reached halfway above her knees, meaning his entire body hugged his favorite parts of her.
Ryan shifted uncomfortably, hoping Cass would take the rustling fabric for just the natural shifting of her clothes. She didn’t say anything, but he could feel her heart beat even faster, feel her temperature rise slightly. Worse, he could tell from how relaxed her shoulders were, she was enjoying flustering her boyfriend.
He quickly focused on the mathematics behind baseball, doing his best to divert his attentions elsewhere. ‘Uh, does it say anything?’ He offered to Cass, hoping she wouldn’t notice how easily flustered he was.
She hugged her chest tightly as a means of response, leaning down to look closer at the stone. Ryan felt his entire body tense as she pressed him against her chest, and he could feel her chuckling around him. Of course she’d try to get a rise out of him. At least it meant she was calming down.
“Japanese is read top down, right?” Cass asked, nuzzling her shoulder.
‘Y-yeah.’ Ryan replied, immediately lost to another wave of bliss.
“The... Blessing of the Chaste.” Cass let out a small gasp of surprise. “Hey, the more I read, the easier it gets!”
‘Absolutely fantastic, Cass.’ Ryan replied, still trying to keep his mind elsewhere.
She must have noticed the dry tone to his thoughts, because she balled a part of him up and sandwiched it between her pert breasts. She continued to read, acting as though she was oblivious to Ryan’s distress. “Any lovers who visit these temples for pure reasons will be showered with good fortune. On the other hand... Anyone who chooses to use these grounds for unwed relations will be transformed—obviously, thanks for that.” Cass paused her reading to mutter sarcastically.
‘Keep going.’ Ryan pressed her, eager to find out the rest.
“Though these changes will be sudden and the process will be irreversible, the end result is not permanent. A lesson taught through such means would not be a lesson, and so the changes will undo themselves at the light of dawn. Neat!” Cass finished triumphantly, running one of her hands along her thigh as she stood.
‘So all we need to do is just wait out the changes? That’s great!’ Ryan rippled around Cass, happy that he’d be back to normal in good time. Not that being her clothing was bad or anything, but sight and locomotion were nice, to say the least.
Cass ran her hands along her chest, cupping her breasts, his cloth, in her hands. “So, you don’t like being this close to me?” She said it in perfect Japanese, the musical lilt to her words serving only to increase Ryan’s discomfort.
‘It—it’s not that, I promise! Being human is just nicer than being a piece of clothing, even if it’s your clothing and I’m touching every part of your body and...’ Ryan trailed off, realizing he was rambling.
Cass chuckled, a rich rumble through her chest. “Really, dear. I get what you mean. So, what say we go back to the hotel for a little ‘private time’?” Ryan didn’t need to see her face to know that she was smiling.
‘Um. What? How can you think about that right now?’ He would have blinked in confusion if he could.
“Well, in your current state I don’t think you’ll be sightseeing too much, and I don’t want to do anything but stay indoors... What say we spend the rest of the day together? I could wear you in our room, do... things.” She giggled at the end of it, twirling around.
‘’Things’ are what got us into this, you know.’ Ryan chided her, but he couldn’t deny that the thought was more than a little pleasing. He felt himself tighten around her, and she stroked his silk where he did.
“Come on... What else could go wrong, hm?”
Ryan had to admit, she knew how to get him to play along. ‘Well...’ He thought. ‘As long as you’re okay knowing that you have to go back to the room in me.’
“What’s wrong with that?” Cass’s tone belied her question.
‘You’re naked under me, you’re technically wearing your boyfriend, need I go on?’ Ryan kept his tone teasing, trying to get a rise out of her.
Cass immediately heated up as she flushed with embarrassment. “Oh my God, you’re right. What do we do? What can I do? Nobody will find out, right? Right?”
Ryan was privately thankful that she didn’t press him, he only had the two things to tease her with. ‘of course not.’ He stretched out each word with a gently teasing sarcasm. ‘I’m sure nobody will notice when you head back, you just have to avoid sitting on the train, otherwise people might see... You know.’
She must have caught onto her tone, because her pulse slowed down lightly, and her body temperature increased slightly. Maybe she was getting angry? That couldn’t be good.
“Oh, really?” Sure enough, her tone was more than a little irritated.
‘Uhm. Cass?’
“So you’re saying I shouldn’t sit down... Like this?” Cass immediately dropped to her rear, and Ryan clenched around her as he was able to feel the entirety of her soft buttocks against his form. “Yeah, you like that, sweetie?” She laughed.
‘Actually, yeah.’ Ryan managed to focus enough to respond, his mind awash with just how much of her was touching him.
“Wait, really?” She sounded surprised, and Ryan could picture his girlfriend arching her eyebrow quizzically.
‘It’s kind of like I’m perfectly groping your entire rear.’ Ryan thought, wrapping himself tighter around her waist.
“Well, fancy that.” Cass chuckled, running a hand down her thigh. She paused at her knee, then started to trail her fingers along Ryan’s silk, bringing them closer to her body.
‘Hey!’ Ryan tried to bring her back to reality. ‘Remember what happened last time we tried things like that here?’ Her hand stopped immediately.
“Oh. Good point. Later, then.” She stood, dusting off her rear. “For now—oh!”
‘What? I can’t see anything!’ Ryan thought, hugging her waist gently.
“Why can’t you—nevermind, forget I asked. Our clothes are now a pair of those clog-like shoes. I always wanted to try wearing some of these!”
‘Wait, what about our wallets, then?’ Ryan frowned, trying to picture the room again.
He felt Cass turn a few times. “Um...” She started walking forward, and he felt her bend over. “They’re gone, but...” She trailed off, a pleased tone to her voice.
‘But what?’ Ryan asked.
“Our keycards were under the shoes, so I can still get into the hotel!” Cass chirped happily. Ryan felt her bend over, hearing the faint clacking of wood on marble. That had to mean she was putting on her shoes.
‘Bit of a walk.’ Ryan offered.
“But at least it’ll be with you.” Cass paused for a moment to hug her self gently. Ryan squeezed around her and she laughed. That was probably the best experience for Ryan, feeling her whole body shake around him.
“It’s kind of funny.” She said after a moment.
‘Oh?’
“We took this vacation to be closer to each other, and in a way, now we are.” Cass brushed her fingers against her collar as she spoke; then bent her neck to kiss the cloth on her shoulder.
Ryan took a moment before responding. Strictly speaking, she was right... ‘Yeah, I guess so.’
Cass laughed again; then with that, the pair of lovers walked out to the streets to spend the rest of their day together.
