Around campfires, stories are told of the forsaken Wolf god. He and his sister, the Saber-cat, were fierce rivals, constantly arguing over who was the better hunter. One day, the wolf missed his kill and once the saber-cat overheard, she came to gloat over his failure. Perhaps the wolf was mad over his lost meal or he was tired over his sister's bragging, whatever the case he attacked the saber-cat. Their battle lasted for 3 days, but in the end the saber-cats blood dripped down the wolf's maul. No other god had killed another, so the other gods made a decision to punish the wolf. The other gods decided to banish the wolf from the God Spring, a place where it is said the gods received their powers and went to rest, but the bear god wanted a more severe punishment for his sister's death. He called upon a great thunderstorm and many lightning bolts struck the wolf, turning his once all white fur dotted with burnt fur, ensuring he would never sneak up on his prey again. Exiled and forsaken, the wolf swore to get revenge and kill his once brothers and sisters.

It is said he now hunts and kills followers of the gods, as a way to vent his anger. As terrifying as these stories are, they are only meant to frighten small children. Kelsiv once thought that, until the night her life changed.

When she was 12 winters old, her tribe lead by the chief, her father, went to trade with his brothers tribe in the south. During the trip, they were forced to hunker down by a blizzard. All was peaceful, until someone yell "WOLF!!" Nearly everyone took up arms, but once they saw the wolf, they froze in terror. It was the largest wolf they ever saw, a white wolf with black patches. The wolf charge at them, weapons bounced aimlessly off his hide. Kelsivs father knew how this would end, he ordered his wife and daughter to get to a horse and run. As her mother got her on the horse, she looked back at her father knowing this would be her last memory of him.

As the horse ran through the snow, the sounds of fighting died down, then came a cold howl. Her mother stopped the horse and told Kelsiv to run as fast as she could while she drives the beast away. As she turned and ran, her mother drew her sword and ran in the other direction. Shortly, Kelsiv heard her mother scream, she shed a tear when she heard the scream cut short. As she ran, she saw a grove of trees ahead, and heard footsteps fast approaching her. As the wolf drew near, she knew she would never make it in time. Suddenly a black raven swooped past her and began to attack the wolf, buying her time to reach the grove. Once there, she hid behind a tree, still anticipating a brutal end. But oddly enough, the wolf didn't follow her in.

She wandered deeper into the grove, noticing the same raven constantly watching her. Soon she reached a spring, she could sense something unnatural about it but was very thirsty. She cupped her hands and took a sip, immediately her body was on fire. She screamed when she saw the visions. She saw the 8 gods as meer animals, taking a drink from the same spring. The wolf sinking it's fangs into the saber-cat. A god's rage, drowning the world in blood of mortal and god alike. The last thing she rembered was the black raven circling over her before she blacked out.

When she came to, she found herself in a tent. Apparently, she was discovered by her uncle's tribe, who found her passed out in the snow. Ever since then she has stayed with her uncle, he taught her that she was blessed by the Seer Raven, the one who sees all secrets. She became the village druid, using her gift to help see the future of others.

One night, she recived a vision unlike any other. She saw a dark queen, followed by a king missguided by false promises. A dark doorway, followed by a power that could create a nightmare army.  Awakening from this nightmare, she set out at once to end this worldending threat. She took up her weapon, an axe blessed with various elemental runes, a gift from her loving uncle.

On her journey, she discovered the Empire, a kingdom who disliked any and all magic. She constantly found herself on the wrong side of this Empire. One day, she crossed paths with a group of warriors, also seeking to end the Empire's regin. Now, with her new war bound sisters, she seeks to end the threat of the dark queen once and for all.

Yet… she wonders at night. Could this power she fears bring the end of a god? She tried pushed her old memories out or her mind, but she could still hear the screams that day. She knew no mortal could kill a god, but a mortal controlling such a power could tip the scales. Which will triumph when the time comes, duty or vengeance?

My first bio for my Legends of Edenia.  I put a lot of time and thought into Kelsivs backstory and motives. She's has a serious persona, but is weighed down by trauma and her gift of seeing almost everything. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do.
