Lilly loves thrift stores. Every trip to one is an adventure. You don't know what you're going to buy, and it's cheap.

Today Lilly found a new store just at the edge of town. The sign said "New World Thrift Shop". She couldn't hold her excitement, and ran in.

The air-conditioning hit her, it was freezing in here otherwise the place seemed pretty ordinary. She wondered around looking at all the little trinkets and second hand treasures left to collect dust.

She found a cute little cat figurine, made from Green tinted glass, on it was a sticker that said "$1"

as she got deeper in she found a fairy figurine. It sat on a rock brushing her hair. It was so pretty, definitely worth the $5, on it's sticker.

Lilly moved over to the clothes. Right away she found a cute, black and yellow tee-shirt. The tag let her know it was exactly her size, and showed off the bargain price of $2.

She continues in the clothes, but the cold air is starting to get to her. Which brought her attention to the white wool sweater. It is summer, but the wool felt so soft, and it's only $3, what dummy could pass that up?

Having grabbed four items already, she had to stop. She has over spent at thrift stores so much in the past, that her mother forced her to limit her shopping.

At the counter was a short woman with brown hair, cut and styled in a way, that it looked like she had a mushroom growing on her head. There was an insense burner with a foresty sent.

"Did you find what you were looking for?" Her voice was soft. If it weren't for the comically large breasts she probably could pass for a 10 year old.

"Probably more than I should," Lilly giggled "but with these prices, who could blame me?"

"Oh dear, you might want to pace yourself." Her voice filled with concern. " the monetary price is low, but these items are new lives. You shouldn't buy so many."

"New lives, don't be silly. They're just knicknacks and clothes."

"No each one will drastically alter your life. I'm sorry but you will have to choose only one."

"Really? That stinks!"

"You must choose."
