Bryan had a habit of going places he didn’t belong. Mr. Brown’s party sounded like a fun time, so he found a way in like he always did: by walking around as if he was meant to be there. He loaded up at the buffet table, made small talk, and threw his name into various giveaway games at the party, until found by Mr. Brown himself.
Truth be told, Mr. Brown was surprisingly unbothered by Bryan’s appearance. He seemed cool, even, and asked Bryan if he was interested in taking part of the toy auction. Bryan had to admit he had already spent all his money shopping this year. Mr. Brown understood, but thought there were other ways Bryan could take part in the auction.
